I knew this trip would be once-in-a-lifetime, but the Contessa crew exceeded every expectation! My family had so much to celebrate—my parents renewed their vows, I got engaged, and I celebrated 20 years cancer-free. As someone who normally travels with a detailed itinerary and spreadsheet, this was the first time I truly let go and went pomalo—and I’m so glad I did. In just 7 days, strangers from Canada, Australia, Norway, and the USA became friends. That says everything about the incredible atmosphere this crew created. We had such a great week with Sail Croatia and couldn’t have asked for a better crew. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and welcoming, and they really made the trip special. Especially Marin our Sail Croatia guide. He was a brilliant tour guide, friendly, honest and great fun. He kept us up to date each day and gave us great tips on what to see, do and avoid. Bane and Marko’s food was fantastic — every meal was delicious, beautifully presented and there was always plenty of it! Ivana and Neno were always great behind the bar and made some fantastic cocktails, while Joy kept our cabin spotless. The whole boat was incredibly clean. A big thank you to Captain Slavko, Charlie, Tino and Kristiano for keeping everything running so smoothly and getting us safely around Croatia. We also loved the spa pool — perfect after a day exploring! All in all, we had a fantastic time and the crew really made the experience. We’d definitely recommend Sail Croatia and would happily do it all again!

We had a lovely time on the Blackbird with our family. Thanks to our sailing experience we were able to see so much more of the country than we expected to. We would have liked to have had more time in different stops and a captain who was more flexible with our preferences. Also, a more mature captain is definitely a request we now know to make in the future. However, for our first time, this was incredible!

We have been all over the world and had some amazing experiences from dogsledding in Alaska, riding the Rocky Mountaineer through Canada and walking the Camino through Spain but nothing will ever top this cruise. Our ship had just 15 other guests who were all wonderful friendly people. Every meal was a taste sensation and every day was filled with swimming in clear blue 27° water, visiting magnificent villages and experiencing a wonderfully vibrant part of the world. Our cruise holiday was idyllic from every standpoint! The Olimp luxury yacht offered a most unique cruise experience which felt very singular. We were indulged with a daily dip in the Adriatic’s crystalline and refreshing waters in tiny private coves where we could swim, snorkel or paddle board. It was a true highlight! The smaller cruise format allowed passengers to forge a more intimate interaction with one another which truly made for a memorable sail. The crew worked tirelessly in preparing gourmet fare, cocktails and catering to our every whim while maintaining an immaculate ship. Our Tour Director, Dino with his mega watt smile was always most eager to address any issues, offer tips and make solid resto recommendations - unfailingly! This cruise was more than we could ever hoped for! Our room (Above Deck) was spacious and very comfortable. The dining room, lounge area and sundecks never felt crowded. The ship overall is very clean and well-maintained. The itinerary was well-balanced between active and relaxed (we leaned mostly on the latter side). We visited islands that had distinct vibes and characters. Kudos to Hana, our Tour Director, who was very thorough in providing us guidance and directions as we go exploring the islands. But our most favorite thing about the cruise was hands-down the daily swim stops. The captain took us to areas with the clearest and bluest waters. Richie made sure all our swim toys are ready to go, so we could all have maximum enjoyment in the water. The plentiful breakfasts and 3-course lunches were also quite the treat! Service was all-around warm and efficient. A huge THANK YOU to all the wonderful members of the staff for giving us such an amazing experience!

My husband and I traveled to Croatia ,to see the country of my maternal grandparents. It was an incredible experience! The people of Croatia are helpful and welcoming. Many people speak excellent English which helps when asking for directions. The cities we visited were easily accessible along the Croatian coastline. There were some places that were challenging to access, due to stairs. We were able to climb at our own pace. The small ship, Olimp, was lovely, clean and comfortable. I appreciated the fact that if I was tired, or the weather was too hot, I could return to the ship and relax . After breakfast, we swam in a small cove everyday. What made the trip even more enjoyable, was meeting fellow passengers from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and the United States. I absolutely recommend this trip to anyone who wants to experience Croatia.

It was a lovely week. We enjoyed very much going to all the islands as they all have their own special charm. We found the food on the boat to be good but the lunch portions were way too big. We would have appreciated an explanation of the food as we had to keep asking what we were eating….The desserts everyday were the best part! Swim stops were the highlight! The Taste of Croatia tour itself needs lots of work. Olive oil tasting was in a cramped store(we were picturing a trip to an olive grove), oysters and Wine tasting was a miss as well.. There are wineries and oyster farms and Instead we went to a tourist restaurant where we got poured 3 wines and had a plate of oysters. We found a winery on our own on the island of Hvar which was amazing and would have been a welcome addition to this cruise. Foodies who book this expect more and so if we recommended this trip we would say skip the Taste of and just do the explorer or elegance cruises.

This was the first cruise we have done and turned out to be one of the best trips I’ve ever had. Everything was great. I was very fortunate to join with a fantastic group of people (28 in total) and we had the best time. The breakfast every morning was fresh. The 3 course lunch was always a treat and the Captains dinner was wonderful. The crew were all amazing. Cabins were larger than I was expecting and kept clean. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

This was an incredibly memorable trip. The crew was excellent, helpful, hard working, and went above and beyond. Our tour guide Sanja did an excellent job of making this an amazing experience. She did such a good job of keeping everyone informed and organized. I did not expect the quality of the food to be so good! The chefs and bartenders do a great job of putting out delicious, well timed meals. The schedule is so well put together and balanced. Beautiful swim stops every day, plenty of time on the islands, and smooth sailing. Our cabin had more room than expected. Clean, cool, and enough space for my husband and I. Only complaint is the excursions. We enjoyed the wine tasting. But did not enjoy the bike ride, even though we were excited about it. Long walk uphill, not desirable swimming. Also didn’t enjoy the Dubrovnik walking tour. Didn’t understand our guide and the content was often irrelevant. That being said we’d do the trip 100 times again and would recommend Sail Croatia

We had the most amazing 7-day cruise from Dubrovnik to Split for our honeymoon and absolutely loved the whole experience. The ship was beautiful and had recently been refurbished, so everything felt fresh, modern and very comfortable. Our accommodation was lovely, the food throughout the cruise was excellent, and all of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. One of our favourite parts of the trip was the itinerary and the regular swim stops. The places we visited were beautiful and there was a really nice balance between cruising, swimming, relaxing and getting off to explore. We did have to make one or two changes to the planned stops due to conditions, but this was handled extremely well by the captain. The alternative arrangements were well thought out and we never felt that we were missing out on anything. It was over and above all our expectations . . . a truly unique experience where we met a lot of lovely people from all over the world. The staff were amazing too. Unique experience was heightened by the crew: their smiles, going above & beyond without request, delicious food (accommodating allergies & preferences too). Favorite memories: Sailor Tino serving as cocktail server delivering to our "floating bar" we created utilizing the paddle boards during swim stops. Bartender Naeno remembering my drinks from day 1 - am manually making my fresh iced tea from brewed & pm chardonnay w/3 ice cubes. Great conversation & genuinely cared to get to know people. Bartender Joanna sweet & accommodating even when I was being "extra". Attendant Joy for keeping our cabin clean-constantly replacing bathmat & folding clothes, etc. Our space cozy and spotless too. Director Vin was funny even when he wasn't trying to be. Tip to future guests: Do not start a drinking game where you drink anytime he says the word "ALSO". If ya know, ya know. Don't forget Sailor Charlie - ALWAYS cleaning the yacht. Have a chat with him about where he's lived too.

Our holiday was Exceptional. My husband and I were celebrating our retirement and we were also celebrating the engagements of our two daughters and their fiances. From my initial booking to this review my/our experience has been exptremely professional, well organized with excellent communication and assistance with any questions we had. Our crew, including our Skipper, Mislav and our Hostess Mirna were absolutely incredible. Mislav's knowledge of our yaght, the islands visited and Croatian history was extremely appreciated. Mirna's wonderful dishes served for breakfast, lunch and snacks were SO dilicious and appreciated by all. She is truly an amazing cook and her knowledge also, of the islands was welcomed. Mislav and Mirna were a great team. They worked so well together and were beautiful human beings inside and out. We wanted to take them home with us. Our time spent on Alley Cat was a wonderful experience for our family of 6 - if we can, we will be back! Thank You

This was our first small ship cruise, accompanied by another couple (friends) who have been on lots of larger cruises, four of us did not know what to expect. On arrival, our tour guide Lola was very professional & welcoming which continued throughout the entire cruise! The boat (Romantic Star) was beautiful, clean & well maintained with all creature comforts. Our Captain and all crew were very pleasant and accommodating. Scenery of course was amazing!! Was lovely to be able to come and go from the boat when docked without being on time restraints, allowing us to explore each port at our own leisure or, take part in one of the many excursions both included and paid. For thrill seekers looking to go offroad on ATV tour we don't recommend as all roads are sealed and we felt price was a little expensive for what the tour included. Overall, we highly recommend anyone to Sail Croatia with Sail Croatia as we will again in the future!

We enjoyed our trip tremendously. We have never been on a cruise. This is the best way to give a cruise a try. It’s a smaller cruise boat with only a handful of people and crew. Great bar with attentive staff. No disco and thousands of people swarmed by a pool. The food was very good. It was the perfect balance of action, adventure, sightseeing and relaxation. The private swim coves were one of our favorite parts of the day. Our coordinator Klara was amazing. I know it’s her job to be friendly but I truly felt like she really enjoyed our group and wanted to hang out with us. I definitely recommend Sail Croatia. We may even try their Greek Island tour…only if Klara is the coordinator.

Sail Croatia was an absoloutley incredible experience, with a large array of fun events and experiences. Our guide Antonio was spectacular all throughout the week, his organisation skills helped make the week smooth sailing and fun for everyone. He has very strong knowledge on each place we went, gave many recommendations for activities, food, etc. and answered any questions we had. Antonio and all staff Roko, Bobo, Isabella and others performed their jobs to an high standard and made sure the week was super enjoyable by keeping the vibe high and joining in on our fun. Every one of the chef’s meals were very delicious and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality, quantity and variety every day. Each day was enjoyable, from beautiful swim spots, exploring coastal towns, going on adventurous activities and then partying all night. Overall the experience is a must do and worth the money!

We had the most amazing week onboard Romantic Star. The crew were great, captained by Ivan. Our tour guide, Lola, couldn’t have been better. The choice and range of islands we visited were perfect. All different and all enjoyable. The excursions were fantastic too. We were blown away by the end to end experience w/ Sail Croatia— thoughtful stops, daily swimming, excursions + dining reservations made in advance on your behalf. We are busy working parents juggling robust school + sports schedules. Once we got onboard we left all the logistics, planning, navigating to Sail Croatia and were able to miss many of the crowds commonly found across Croatia in August. Our tour manager Hana is an ace at her job and brought in enough history / cultural overview to keep the teenagers interested. Food was beyond expectation and accommodating of allergies + preferences. Cabins were clean and well appointed. We will be re booking this holiday! 5 stars.

Our Sail Croatia Bike & Boat tour was truly unforgettable! Cycling through Croatia’s countryside, along the coast, and into small villages gave us a unique way to experience its beauty. This holiday exceeded all expectations! We sailed on the Princenza Diana which was an absolutely beautiful ship with very comfortable accommodations. We felt so lucky to have Ivan and Lucy as our guides because they worked so well together to make the cruise and the cycling so special. They truly cared for everyone on board and made sure that we stayed safe while e-biking through so many beautiful destinations along the Dalmatian Coast. It seemed like every turn provided another picture perfect view! We were also pleasantly surprised by the delicious breakfast and three course lunches on board the ship. The Chef and the staff provided great meals and service, but we also were happy to enjoy dinner in port and experience the hospitality of the Croatian people. This is a fabulous holiday for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Croatia while staying active with fun and like minded travelers.

We recently boarded the Tempera Cruise from Split to Dubrovnik, and we had such a fantastic experience! Our sail team was incredibly helpful and made us feel so well looked after throughout the trip. Our host, Andro, was honestly the best. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all the islands we visited, and we really appreciated his honesty and recommendations about which excursions were actually worth doing. The only thing we wish had been included on our trip was the rafting experience! The crew did a fantastic job of making sure we had plenty of time at the best swimming spots, and they even adjusted our ports to minimise travel time on days when they felt we needed more time to explore the islands. We also loved the people we met along the way. Our cruise had a great mix of younger and older couples, and everyone got along so well, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you to the entire Tempera Cruise team for an amazing trip and so many great memories!

From the moment we walked onto Almissa our expectations were exceeded. The boat was clean and our room was spacious. It was evident early on that the crew was just fantastic. Hana greeted us and made sure from the get go that we had everything we needed or wanted. She was available for reservations, questions, and did a great job filling us in on each destination and providing restaurant and site seeing recommendations. She truly went above and beyond. Not to mention she's just a wonderful person who clearly loves what she does. Kafka and Cesar made sure everyone had a great time. They would be up late chatting and sharing stories with guests and then up early each morning with a smile on their faces. The food was fantastic throughout. We were nervous that things would be bland or generic but they were anything but. Every part of this trip was fantastic, we would highly recommend.
