We really enjoyed cycling the Croatian Islands and our knowledgeable guides shared many interesting details about the history and culture of Croatia. We did two trips, Split Northern return and the Split South to Dubrovnik. Both were fantastic trips and different in their own way. Tonka and Lola guided our first journey and did a great job of supporting us on our old school pedal bikes. Marin and Karlo were our second set of guides and once again provided excellent support for what was our first e-bike experience. The Sail Croatia ships (Mali Ante and Columbo) were both comfortable and are staffed by an amazing crew. The captain and crew's hard work and dedication is reflected in the pristine condition of the ships. The food for both cruises was delicious and plentiful. We did a Sail Croatia cycle tour in 2018 and enjoyed it so much we came back.! This second adventure exceeded our expectations and left us with some wonderful holiday memories.

Sail Croatia made our week of cycling and sailing the Croatian islands amazing. The staff were great and our fellow travellers were all very easy to travel with fun to get to know . They were organized and the food was terrific. I was worried I wasn’t fit enough but I did well on the bikes.

My entire family loved cruising from one beautiful Croatian island to the next and touring around each stop on e-bikes. We got to see much more of each island than if we had hiked or just stayed overnight in each port town/city. The crew & guides are lovely people: professional, friendly & kind. Matilda & Sardan are also skilled bike riders who were patient & accommodated all the varied skill levels. They were knowledgable about each stop, offering wonderful suggestions for dining & site-seeing while on our own to explore. We met wonderful new friends and enjoyed traveling with every single person on our boat. This trip was absolutely AMAZING from start to finish - I can't recommend it enough! My family and I are still stunned at the many incredible views we biked to and the fun of having an active vacation and meeting great people while enjoying wonderful food and wine and exploring so much of beautiful Croatia. We are SO glad we went on this unforgettable adventure!

Sail Croatia was hands down one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. From the moment I stepped onto the boat, I felt welcomed, safe, and genuinely cared for. The staff were absolutely incredible- so loving, kind, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable, happy, and well taken care of. You could tell they really cared about our experience, and that made all the difference. The boat itself was immaculate. Everything was kept so neat and tidy throughout the entire week, and it truly felt like a floating home. But what made the trip even more special were the people. I met some of the most amazing souls – people who started as strangers and became true friends, and even family. There's a unique bond that forms when you’re sailing, sharing meals, and cycling long miles. I can’t recommend Sail Croatia enough. With 3 20-something-year-old kids beginning to go in different directions, we were looking to explore Croatia together and solidify a vacation full of lifelong family memories together. I stumbled upon Sail Croatia as we looked for ways to see the coastal cities and islands. Boy, were we glad we did! An extra bonus was the ability to combine a bit of adventure and activity through a biking cruise. I can't say enough positive things about our experience on Mali Luka and the wonderful crew and captain. Our leaders Mila and Mario, were full of knowledge, experience, hospitality, attention to detail, thoughtfulness, kindness and a passion for the beauty and history of their country. The entire experience was top-notch. The meals and service on board were exceptional and delivered with a smile - always. We loved getting to know so many people from across the world with peace and trust and hospitality. We will forever cherish our memories and new friends from our Sail Croatia experience!

Took this trip with my family as a last hurrah before my sister gets married. It was everything and more I could have hoped for! I truly believe it was the best way to see Croatia. We did the cycling cruise and visited so many incredible places on the islands we wouldn’t have been able to see otherwise. Our boat was always clean, the meals were FANTASTIC, but what really made it was the crew and our cycling guides. Haleem, one of our crew members, catered to every need and was always around to chat with us or teach us a new card game. Our cycling guides, Mila and Mario, were so knowledgeable and made sure to always provide us with the most out of every opportunity. Would do this trip again in a heartbeat!

The tour hosts (Lola and Tonka) and ship’s crew were fantastic! We were fortunate to be traveling with a great group of people and had a fabulous time. The chef did a great job on the meals and the boat had nice touches such as hairdryers in each room.

Great and plentiful food, great bike trips were carefully planned for our interest and safety.. Staff was receptive and helpful throughout the trip. The islands visited were magnificent visually and people were friendly and helpful. Learning the history added to the trip as well.

I felt that while the guides did an exemplary job. The large number of cyclists (29) in the group was dangerous. The group should have been split into two. Complimentary tea and coffee while on board would have been appreciated. Other cycling tours we’ve been on gave out water bottles which are fun to have and a source of advertising for the company.

The crew was fantastic, the people that were guests were amazing, and the planning that went into making it all happen was incredible! We felt that the tour was very thoughtful and it made the most of what the weather and the islands had to offer. We have done the Sail Croatia tour once before seven years previous to this trip. We felt just as good about it and that is why we returned.

We traveled with family and friends - everyone had a connection to at least one other person and my sister - the organizer - had done a cruise on the Mali Ante the year before, so certainly all of that familiarity contributed, but the trip was just a wonderful combination of exercise, relaxation, wonderful people, perfect weather and idyllic destinations. I don't remember ever being that relaxed and content.

Great way to see the islands and the cycling is challenging. Cabin is very comfortable. Crew were extremely helpful and friendly. Guides were very engaging. Definitely recommend this if you come to Croatia.

The itinerary, staff, accommodation and food were all great. The staff were very helpful and accommodating my gluten free diet. Visiting 4 islands was great. The option to have ebikes was good - especially in the heat. The organising of the sailing, where we stopped and the routes we covered on the bikes - were all very well planned out and explained to us every day in detail. The staff were very friendly. This was our first cycling trip and everything went smoothly. The ship was clean, the crew professional, and the bikes were excellent Our guides were outstanding. Mila and Marija were not just cycling guides but historians and helpful in every way. We were a group of 32 older folks, 50+ in age and they were able educate us, motivate us when we saw those big hills and narrow winding roads. They offered good suggestions for cafes, little known pieces of information about the villages and kept us all happy and safe. Highly recommend this route too as we got to see the most amazing scenery along the coast.

Croatia is beautiful,, the guides were great and the boat was very clean. Food was good and there’s plenty of it!! Don’t be put off by the slightly cheaper rooms below deck. They have better sound proofing as some of the ports can be quite noisy.. There was a concert one night on the pier and I didn’t hear it in my cabin. Pack light as there’s not much storage. The cabins below deck could benefit from some extra hooks and shelves. A fantastic trip overall.

Our Boat, Emanuel, was a top notch boat. It is an older boat that was beautifully restored and had a great crew and Captain. I loved that it was a family run boat and there was a lot of pride in taking are of it. Emanuel was spotless, had a hard working, friendly crew and timely wonderful meals. Our guides were spectacular and very attentive. I loved riding my e-bike daily through the beautiful islands of the Adriatic Sea. Our guide was very clear each day about the length and difficulty of the rides. I felt so comfortable that it was hard to leave. All in all, it was one of my favorite trips. Thank you Emanual!!

The daily cycling routes through the beautiful Croatian islands and countrysides were incredible. Sailing to each island was a relaxing and wonderful experience. Our guides Karolina and Mila worked well with each other.. Karolina outlined our day efficiently and handled any issues or changes in the schedule with a sense of calmness and grace. Mila was passionate about sharing her wealth of information with the group. She has motivated me to research more about Croatia’s history when I get home. I'm so glad I made the decision to join the cycle cruise. It was a beautiful experience in many ways: so many incredible views of turquoise water, olive orchards and terracotta villages... rewarding and well-planned cycle routes... lovely company along the way... delicious meals... and our comfortable boat home for the week. The full team hosting us was so well organised and friendly. I have no complaints and only a big smile when I think back on the experience.

This was a trip of a live time! I selected this trip to celebrate my 60th birthday because I love to cycle. There were a couple of challenging rides with stunning views, so I'm glad I selected an e-bike. The crew and staff were outstanding. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. seeing all the beautiful sights of Croatia was amazing and the ebike made it all possible. I would have loved a little book/hand out of our bike paths and information about the culture in each area-It's not easy to remember everything the guides tell us. The room did smell a bit which was unpleasant and I wish we could've opened the windows. I wish we had more leisure time to explore the little towns. I loved the free coffee drinks on board and the staff was great. Loved having this experience staying on a beautiful boat- thank you!

Thank you for the feedback. At times if there is bad weather, smell can occur in the bathroom emitting from the shower drains. This is due to the movement of the ships on the water whereby this movement opens up airflow at the back of the pipe and into the bathroom. This is addressed in the Welcome Speech by the Sail Croatia Representative on board. Thank you for the kind words for the staff on-board, we will be sure to pass this on, and we hope to welcome you on-board again in the future.
My husband, siblings and I went on a sailing biking cruise to celebrate. We all bike ride at different riding abilities, and, prior to the trip, some of us were wondering about whether or not we could keep up with our fittest siblings and their spouses. Happy to say that with the option of riding the e-bikes, we all did well! Having a bike ride every day kept me feeling healthy during my vacation. The ship food was good, their coffee, excellent, and I liked not having to spend an additional 30 Euros to cover the cost of breakfast and lunch each day. During the cocktail and dinner hour, we were able to explore the villages and try the local food which was delicious! In terms of learning about a new part of the world, I had never considered visiting a country by bike. After riding through the small Croatian villages and mountains and having leisure time to explore the port towns and cities, I feel I know Croatia more intimately than I do other places I have visited!

Beautiful biking routes through historic villages, olive groves, and pastural hillsides, to amazing viewpoints. Gorgeous views of the Adriatic Sea with its azure blue water, cliffs, and sea life. Lovely beaches, cafes, art exhibitions, wine tasing, and amazing meals both onboard, and in the towns. Outstanding service from the crew, the guides, and the island hosts. The comraderie of the cyclists was a highlight. So much fun! Probably one of our best holidays ever.

When you travel and are doing rigorous exercise everyday in the heat more than a two towel per week seems necessary. Also the towels were all very old. The bedding needs more frequent changing. The bike ride difficulty needs more specific disclosure. Three hours in the saddle is a long time. Provide beach towels, more fresh vegetables. Also snacks for long hard rides, the riders without e bikes could have used it.

The beauty of the Croatian islands and the extreme clarity of the surrounding waters are well-known. What made this holiday so outstanding was the easy access it provided to all this beauty. We were taken to such perfect locations, enabled to swim in the stunning blue depths of the open sea, handed great bikes to explore with and guided to all the ‘best bits’. Our bike guide Marin was extraordinarily knowledgeable and passionate about the history and environment and the sail Croatia agent Lola was competent, calm and friendly, My only wish would be for a similar experience to be available for solo travellers.

I should have ridden on an e-bike instead, even though I ride a bike regularly I was not prepared for the challenge of riding the climbs. The guides were extremely supportive and patient with me on this trip. The islands were great to explore on a bike ride, as the scenery was amazing and varied from day to day.

We did the cycle cruise last year and really enjoyed it, so we booked again for this year. I didn't think there was much to improve on but I was wrong. The boat, the food, the crew and especially our guides Nina & Marin were amazing. I can't praise them enough, hugely knowledgeable and all round lovely people. We had a great group of fellow travellers including the lovely ladies we met last year on our boat. Lots of fun was had by all. Thank you Sail Croatia, We will certainly be joining you again.

We had a great time cycling the Dalmatian Islands with the Mali Ante crew. Our guides Mila and Miranda provided great historical information about the towns and were very fun to ride with. The onboard crew was wonderful as well, taking care of our rooms and providing great food. We even got them to dance with us on the night of Captain's dinner. The only recommendation I have is to consider an eBike. I'm a cyclist at home, but was happy to have an eBike to get over those beautiful (but steep!) hills.

No pun intended! All the crew on board were exceptional. They were all very friendly and offered any assistance needed. The destinations were all very nice and the bike rides were a great way to see Croatia! I also give the chef a 5 Star. The food was fabulous!
