Our time aboard Salve Di Mare far exceeded all we hoped for. Meeting lovely folk & enjoying their company whilst sailing the Croatian Islands. Every day a new destination with recommendations for activities & places to eat. Swim stops every day were great fun & being able to use the kayaks & SUPs a bonus! Our rep Vicko was the best! Professional, friendly, humorous, knowledgeable & attentive to all questions. All the staff/crew were excellent. They all worked tirelessly with a smile for everyone! Not enough stars for the crew on the Almissa yoga cruise. The welcoming from the first day til the sad last day! Dora- our breath of fresh air. Goes above and beyond. Whatever you needed she was there. Chefs- I have never ate so well on a holiday. Still want the recipes! Deckhands- so funny and handle the boat and tinder expertly. Cezar and Kafka - Bartenders/Maid /servers- we kept you guys very busy and you were top notch! Captain Josef- great honor to sail with him. He is a master of his craft. Would highly recommend sailing with this crew and boat! Going to miss all the fun with yoga, swimming holes, hikes and wine tasting/dinner. Thank you for a truly wonderful and unforgettable holiday!

Great experience! Ship was nice and recently remodeled. Being on the ship felt like being at home with the hospitable crew (tour guide Marin, waitors Ivana & Neno, cleaner Joy, sailors Charlie and Tino, Kristijana boat manager, Captain Slavko& chefs Bane and Marko) The size of the group was perfect and felt intimate. Overall wonderful way to see Coastal Croatia and would definitely recommend. Mario was our tour guide and he was amazing, really helpful and kind. The crew were great. The boat itself was outdated but nothing that affected our holiday. Food was good overall. Great itinerary and overall we had a lot of fun. Couple days towards the end felt a little rushed. Even earlier breakfast and very short swim stop to get to islands which there was nothing to do on. Would have appreciated better and longer swim stops on those. Customer service was great helping answer questions and booking. Overall definitely recommend the cruise.

I knew this trip would be once-in-a-lifetime, but the Contessa crew exceeded every expectation! My family had so much to celebrate—my parents renewed their vows, I got engaged, and I celebrated 20 years cancer-free. As someone who normally travels with a detailed itinerary and spreadsheet, this was the first time I truly let go and went pomalo—and I’m so glad I did. In just 7 days, strangers from Canada, Australia, Norway, and the USA became friends. That says everything about the incredible atmosphere this crew created. It was over and above all our expectations . . . a truly unique experience where we met a lot of lovely people from all over the world. The staff were amazing too. Our holiday was truly amazing. We decided to travel on the Salve di Mare boat. It was absolutely beautiful. The boat and cabins were extremely clean and well kept. The crew was amazing. Unique experience was heightened by the crew: their smiles, going above & beyond without request, delicious food (accommodating allergies & preferences too). Favorite memories: Sailor Tino serving as cocktail server delivering to our "floating bar" we created utilizing the paddle boards during swim stops. Bartender Naeno remembering my drinks from day 1 - am manually making my fresh iced tea from brewed & pm chardonnay w/3 ice cubes. Great conversation & genuinely cared to get to know people. Bartender Joanna sweet & accommodating even when I was being "extra". Attendant Joy for keeping our cabin clean-constantly replacing bathmat & folding clothes, etc. Our space cozy and spotless too. Director Vin was funny even when he wasn't trying to be. Tip to future guests: Do not start a drinking game where you drink anytime he says the word "ALSO". If ya know, ya know. Don't forget Sailor Charlie - ALWAYS cleaning the yacht. Have a chat with him about where he's lived too.

I had a wonderful time on this trip! The crew was great and the food was delicious. Every spot we went to was beautiful. It would have been nice to explore the towns in the morning and then do a swim stop after lunch when it was extremely hot. I also wish there was more excursions like jet skis or fishing. We enjoyed our trip tremendously. We have never been on a cruise. This is the best way to give a cruise a try. It’s a smaller cruise boat with only a handful of people and crew. Great bar with attentive staff. No disco and thousands of people swarmed by a pool. The food was very good. It was the perfect balance of action, adventure, sightseeing and relaxation. The private swim coves were one of our favorite parts of the day. Our coordinator Klara was amazing. I know it’s her job to be friendly but I truly felt like she really enjoyed our group and wanted to hang out with us. I definitely recommend Sail Croatia. We may even try their Greek Island tour…only if Klara is the coordinator.

We were blown away by the end to end experience w/ Sail Croatia— thoughtful stops, daily swimming, excursions + dining reservations made in advance on your behalf. We are busy working parents juggling robust school + sports schedules. Once we got onboard we left all the logistics, planning, navigating to Sail Croatia and were able to miss many of the crowds commonly found across Croatia in August. Our tour manager Hana is an ace at her job and brought in enough history / cultural overview to keep the teenagers interested. Food was beyond expectation and accommodating of allergies + preferences. Cabins were clean and well appointed. We will be re booking this holiday! 5 stars.

Sailed on the Contessa. The cabin was wonderful with lots of storage. Suggest having a top sheet on beds and a shower mat as floor is slippery. Loved all of the ports and time to swim in the Adriatic! Wonderful crew. Requested an itemized bill at the end but said they don't have a printer. The food was amazing! Fresh fruit everyday, pastries, eggs etc. Lunch was bountiful! The presentation of meals was 5 star! Loved the view from the top deck and all around the ship. A small thing, but maybe a sign upon arrival posting Welcome to ...(port). The crew works very hard and the ship is immaculate. I'd highly recommend. A fantastic experience. 10/10 for Sail Croatia. This trip exceeded my families expectations. The tour manager (Hana) and crew were excellent - informative, fun and lots of attention to detail. We had a great week aboard Princeza Diana. The crew were attentive and our host Ana very knowledgeable. Some great excursion options. A small group of 15 which actually made the week as we all got to know each other so well and all clicked. Highly recommend. I would say though when asked if you have dietary restrictions, if you don’t like fish or tomatoes worth saying as they are very much apart of the meals. Overall meals were good.

If you are considering a Sail Croatia trip, take the plunge and go! We absolutely loved our experience from start to finish. (We departed Dubrovnik on July 4 and ended in Split - Explorer.) The itinerary was the perfect combination of beautiful destinations, swimming, adventure, culture, food, and plenty of time to relax and enjoy the incredible Adriatic coastline. What really made the trip special, though, was the experience of traveling with a small group and the dedicated crew. Of our 31 travelers, 11 were international (Scottish, British, Spanish, Australian, South African), with the rest from the US - and all were awesome humans! With Josip as our guide, and the Salve Di Mare crew caring for us all week, we enjoyed every minute with all our new friends. And the ship is perfection! The trip was well organized, while still feeling relaxed and adventurous. We came home with memories we'll never forget and friends we hope to see again. Five stars without hesitation!

Our week on the Almissa was amazing. Great food, staff, rooms, common spaces and other guests. The itinerary was excellent including a variety of activities and swim spots. A truly unique and special way to experience Croatia and we have no hesitation recommending the Almissa. The Sail Croatia communication was good in the lead up to the tour. A few things to note as feedback. Make the end of tour survey anonymous to get honest and useful feedback, carrying cash is a pain now for tourists - the fact everything on the boat and the extra tours and tips are to be paid in cash is inconvenient. Towels on the ship could be replaced - they are getting a bit old. Provide tea and coffee after lunch for free. This would be a small inexpensive thing to include - many international guests like their coffee and tea in the afternoon. 3 Euros for a cup of tea is way over the top. Finally the tipping recommendation appears out of step with what the cruise cost is. Small suggestions.

Our Sail Croatia cruise was one of the best trips of my life! My husband, our adult kids, and I all agreed it was an unforgettable experience. The ship was beautiful, our cabin was spacious, and it was meticulously cleaned every day. The food was outstanding, and the entire crew was friendly, welcoming, and always eager to help. Although our itinerary changed slightly due to weather and docking conditions, it worked out perfectly. We visited Jelsa, which ended up being our favorite stop of the trip! The swim stops were absolutely spectacular, with crystal clear water and breathtaking scenery. If you're considering Sail Croatia, don't hesitate. It was an incredible experience, and we would do it again in a heartbeat!

You never know what to expect with 35 strangers but this mini 7 night cruise exceeded all expectations. We were warmly greeted and had ample time to mingle or do our our things. We were provided with numerous options for eating out and placed to visit at each stop. The on board food (breakfast and lunch) were plentiful and the swim stops along the way were so dreamy and refreshing during our hot week on board. The rooms were well spaced with ample storage for our 2 large and 2 small cases and the A/C kicked in well at night. Our main host Andro was exceptional and his command of the English language made everything seamless, closely followed by the diligent boat crew . We had so much fun, lots of drinks and laughs with guests and plenty of time to really unpack and unwind. I felt safe, my belongings were secure and we strongly recommend the Tempera to those looking for adventure, unique beauty but ample time to chill out.. There are a few deserving tips and taxes to factor in though.

Croatia is beautiful, I loved all the islands, Stari Grad and Mljet National Park were highlights. Tempera is due for a refurb next year, it's fine, but it does need some attention. The crew were great. As a pescatarian I was catered for, but hot breakfast items were all in the same serving dish - eggs tasted of sausages - I can cope with that, but many wouldn't. Overall, thoroughly enjoyable.

I was somewhat disappointed and felt the overall experience to be a little lacking. While the air conditioning failed in some cabins and the crew did what they could to fix it was understandable, one guest complained and the Captain felt it necessary to berate all guests on board at dining. The excursions were less than what was advertised. The swim time was extremely long and cut into time that could have been spent on shore. We scheduled a pick up through our ship from our hotel to the ship for departure and then were not allowed on the ship for 2 hours in an area with no shelter, shopping or bathrooms. The coordinator of excursions missed the mark on helping acquire e-bikes along with knowledge of restaurants and distances to attractions. There were not enough deck chairs for the number of guests. The jacuzzi was filled only twice. Coffee was only available during breakfast hour or had to pay for it. Overall, the experience was not what we had hoped for or planned.

This was a fabulous holiday! There are just three reasons I couldn't give it a perfect 5. 1. "Water toys"-having only 4 "floaties" when you have 36 people on board is not enough. On vacation, no one wants to jump is the sea and tread water for the duration of the swim stop. 2. The new Contessa is lovely. However, on the top deck there was not nearly enough loungers or chairs. People were having to share or go below deck. There was plenty of space for more. 3. It is a bummer that you advertise excursions to Explorer travelers but they actually do not happen or are not reccomended. We were excited on day 1 to go river rafting but once on board heard that that actually wasn't an excursion. Same with canoeing-said you "could" go, but that it was a very bad experience. Better tour operators or excursions need to be sourced. Lola was super and responsive. Martin and Neno amazing employees! Chef Bane and Marko fab. Charlie and Tino fun on deck, and maids were wonderful.

The Croatian itinerary was fantastic, and the crew were friendly and hardworking throughout the trip. Unfortunately, the condition of the Mali Ante did not meet our expectations. The ship felt older and less well-maintained than many others we saw in port. The jacuzzi was out of service for most of the trip, our shower leaked, & our lower-deck cabin was extremely noisy whenever the engines started. The cabin was also very damp, leaving clothing and towels moist and causing some clothes to develop a musty odor. We also found what appeared to be mold or mildew staining on our bedding. Breakfast was limited to one hour each morning, no snacks were provided between meals, and guests could not bring their own snacks or drinks onboard. Drinks were expensive, and the bar tab had to be paid in cash. Considering the ship’s condition and limited amenities, the suggested gratuities felt excessive. While Croatia was beautiful, the overall experience did not provide the value we expected.

Our week on the Sail Croatia Explorer aboard Almissa far exceeded our expectations. Lauren and the crew were amazing, and everything ran so smoothly. The swim stops were beautiful, and the food was always delicious. A huge shoutout to Ceaser and Kafka for the fun nights, great music, and always bringing the good vibes. The week truly had something for everyone, whether you wanted a social night out or an early night in (or both, like us!). What really made the trip special was the group of guests. There was such a fun mix of people and ages (we're in our mid-20s), and by the end of the week, it felt like one big happy family. We’ve left Almissa with incredible memories and couldn't recommend this experience highly enough.

We scheduled our Sail Croatia trip hoping for a Family Adventure and it was SO MUCH MORE than we had even hoped! Croatia was beautiful! Waking up every morning on the Almissa to a new swim spot was epic and the excursions were fantastic! She made every excursion seamless, and her brief history of each destination befire our arrival was one of our favorite parts of the trip. Fabulous family trip with brilliant crew and fantastic cruise director. The 7 days we spent with Sail Croatia on an Explorer cruise on the beautiful Contessa is an experience I will long remember. Salve di Mare is a beautiful boat. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The lunches were delicious. Our guide Nikos was wonderful. He had recommendations for bars and restaurants and was helpful with the excursions. We had a small group and enjoyed all the guest on the boat. OMG… this trip was AMAZING! I found Sail Croatia on Google, from my very first enquiry right through to the very last day stepping off the boat, the communication & service were exceptional. My sister & I travelled from Split to Dubrovnik Day 1 unfortunately greeted us with rain, however the crew lifted everyone’s spirits with a welcome drink onboard, cosy blankets & warm hospitality all around. The crew were absolutely incredible, honestly cannot fault any one of them. They all worked so well together as a team. Nikos, the best! He kept us updated daily through both the group chat & verbal briefings, always making sure everyone knew the plans, timings & options available. knowledge of Croatian history & he delivered everything with humour & personality. Dino, our tour manager was lovely and very responsive to our questions and requests. He often responded within a minute and was already taking action on our request. He was very knowledgeable about each location and gave us a daily briefing. The ship was beautiful and the staff friendly. Due to rough seas the itinerary had to be changed and we did not visit Vis, but instead went to Omiš, which was a lovely town with stunning landscapes and some exciting excursion options! They handled the itinerary changes gracefully and seamlessly. I've deducted one star as there were a few quirks along the way that could have made the stay more pleasant: The ship has AC, but only when the AC is turned on as a whole, so for the first couple nights and the last night our room was a nearly unbearable 77-80°F at night, there were a couple days where housekeeping came into the room, but the room was only partially done, like 1 out of 3 beds done. All in all it was an enjoyable experience though!

Traveling with Sail Croatia was an experience that was more than " just a cruise" where you are one of hundreds or thousands on a massive ship. It wasn't perfect, but I look back on the friendships we made, the cozy feel of the ship and I'm left with special memories of our time on the Adriatic. When we arrived in Split and were faced with two massive cruise ships at port, I was so thankful for the choice we made. Dino, our cruise director, was a very relatable, friendly guy who responded quickly with our questions. The crew were all very nice! I rated it 4/5 mainly because of a few issues such as ventilation in the cabin that made it uncomfortable for a few days. Otherwise, it would be 5/5!

The communication before during and after made the decision to book simple, what to do during the cruise easy and decision to rebook in the future a definite. The cruise director Dino was the best. He not only informative and professional but also fun and engaging. He arranged activities,,helped with bookings,, transport and was there for us to resolve an unexpected inconvenience with a flat tire on a bike excursion . Dino and the Captain worked together to avoid the difficult uncontrollable weather and locate ports with better weather and new fun activities seamlessly. We cruised on the Salve di Mare and had a great experience from start to finish! Monica in Sales was my first point of contact and she was friendly, professional and always quick to respond. A pleasure to work with! The cruise itself far exceeded our expectations, primarily because of our Tour Manager, Vicko. He was outstanding!! Not only did he keep us informed about each day's itinerary and the optional excursions, he provided rich historical context and interesting trivia as well. He is a walking textbook on Croatia - but not in a stuffy professor-like way. Everyone on board absolutely loved him! Our bartenders, Marco and Vlaho, were also very service-oriented and friendly. They did an excellent job. As for the food, it was delicious! The chefs make everything on board so each dish was fresh and tasty. Passenger-wise, there were only 40 of us so we were able to get to know one another rather quickly. I suspect that many new (life long?) friendships were formed. Thanks, Sail Croatia!

Our experience with Sail Croatia was phenomenal! It was one of the best trips we've ever taken - offering a nice balance of relaxation on the boat and activities on the islands. It was great to have flexibility to explore on our own (using recommendations provided if we wish) or opt in to the excursions. We enjoyed that we docked in port every night so we could stay out and enjoy the island as long as we wanted. All of the staff were so welcoming, kind, and provided top notch hospitality! We also really enjoyed meeting our fellow shipmates and actually formed some deep friendships with others on the boat, which was unexpected but made the experience that much more special. Overall, trip was fantastic. Boat was beautiful, spacious and very clean. Monica and her cleaning crew did an amazing job keeping cabins clean and linen refreshed. Swim stops were the true highlight of our adventure. The only negative, or, suggestion I would have is on the food. Overall, the flavors were very good. However, we all wanted a green salad every once-in-awhile. Could even make a large salad with chicken or shrimp the main course. Or, grilled vegies with the main course. Did not like the lamb chops. Chicken dish and hummus salad was delicious! Crew and staff went above an beyond to create a special wedding anniversary celebration for my husband and me. We had never booked a holiday like this so was a little apprehensive on what to expect. I can honestly say it was amazing. This was such a great way to explore Croatia. We were travelling as a family with 3 young adult/ teenage boys. This type of holiday had the perfect balance of visiting some absolutely stunning destinations and activities such a cycling around a beautiful National Park and driving a buggy through a vineyard and across the island to a beautiful beach. We particularly enjoyed our morning swim stop in beautiful locations were you could take a leisurely swim or paddle board and some snorkelling. Our boat was beautiful ( Queen Jelena) met some great people and the staff could not have done more for us - thank you Nikos and team. Would totally recommend this holiday - you will not be disappointed!

Such an easy and efficient way to see coastal Croatia. You meet lots of others on the boat, however there is plenty of time and opportunity to be by yourselves as well. The excursions are really worthwhile - we particularly enjoyed the bike ride in Mijet National Park. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I picked the below deck cabin as I was told it was quieter, however I would recommend an above deck cabin if you can. Could not fault anything with Sail Croatia and would highly recommend.

We specifically picked this boat for the hot tub which never worked for the entire trip. Very disappointed by this. We expected more regional dishes for lunch ie more seafood. Most meals were red meat based. The cabin bathrooms were far from clean. The floor under the sink was filthy and shower grout was in need of a cleaning. Really can’t say enough about the staff, super friendly and helpful and the itinerary was fantastic. All the stops were beautiful.

Just back from a week sailing on Princeza Diana Explorer cruise, from start to finish booking and communication was stress free with Sail Croatia. The boat was lovely and clean, food was delicious. I took my 19 year old daughter on the Esperanza Explorer cruise and it exceeded my expectations by far. The ship was beautiful, the rooms spacious, the staff fantastic and knowledgeable and the itinerary was perfect. We met a huge variety of people and had a chance to connect and make new friends due to the intimate size of the cruise. Sailing to a new swim spot each morning was the BEST way to start the day, Follow that with a superb lunch and just the right amount of education on the next ports history and things to do and then we were off to explore, wine taste, kayak, hike, shop or just hang at the beach. I think this is the best way to see some of the amazing smaller islands of Croatia with the comfort of not packing and unpacking. Highly recommend Sail Croatia.

Regarding the food, Inow realize I should have been a little more specific on my preferences, as a vegetarian. We have just returned from a week on Almissa, having been on the same ship 3 years previously, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We loved everything about our cruise and were lucky to find a great group of like minded travellers on board who were brilliant company and very friendly. Almissa has an amazing crew, a captain who was very present and easy to chat to and hardworking, fun bar and serving staff. Klara was a fantastic guide with her humour, knowledge and helpfulness, she really made everything go seamlessly and was a lot of fun. Everyone worked hard and couldn’t do enough for us. We felt that the food was better this time than 3 years ago, so well done to the kitchen staff. We enjoyed all the beautiful towns and looked forward to the daily swim stops. From the moment we stepped on the boat to the moment we departed we received excellent care from our Tempera cruise manager Nikos and his team. Nikos and his team were warm friendly and attentive to our every need. Nikos kept us informed via the WhatsApp group chat and daily announcements and did a fantastic job of coordinating all of the fun and interesting activities. The food which included daily breakfast and lunch were delicious. I also really enjoyed the fact that it was a smaller boat with about 35 guests. We really enjoyed meeting and getting to know our lovely fellow guests from around the world and it was fun to interact with them all during the various activities that were organized on our various stops and to run into them while out and about on the islands. Another thing that I really liked was being able to visit several amazing and beautiful places in a week without needing to pack and unpack between stops. This was an awesome experience and I highly recommend it.

Our Sail Croatia guide Vicko was BRILLIANT!! We just returned from a week on the Tempera from Dubrovnik to Split. I cannot wait to tell all my friends in the US about Sail Croatia. The boat was very comfortable with plenty of common area space. What really made our trip special was the CREW on the Tempera. Anything we needed or requested was addressed immediately. The food was amazing and the chefs were great. The bartenders Max & Milan, were so friendly and always handled my special drink requests with a smile. Toma was great making sure we didn’t drown at the swim stops. They were all fun to talk to and went above and beyond to make sure we were all taken care of in every way. Finally Nicos our cruise director was perfection! He always gave fabulous recommendations for restaurants, excursions and also went above and beyond. He was so knowledgeable about every island and city we visited. All crewmembers were absolutely amazing! From Dino, to Karlo, to Nikola and the Captain, they were all super professional and fun!! The itinerary was spot on for what we wanted to do and I really appreciate the professionalism of our Captain. We were docked next to another Sail Croatia boat at one point whose Captain was very disrespectful to the noise ordinance times and, in turn, the other boats around them. The only recommendation I have is to add lounge chairs to the top level, not just the mats. Absolutely beautiful and we had a great time!

This is my second trip with Sail Croatia, I think that says enough on how amazing they are. Every single second was so beautiful, exciting, and enjoyable. Our tour guide, Lola, was so lovely and you can tell she wants you to enjoy your time and fall in love with not only Croatia itself but the people within it. The crew on Almissa was definitely the highlight of my trip. From the captain, to the sailors, chefs, and waiters, words cannot describe how magnificent they made this week. The food is delicious and full of flavor, the cabins feel cozy, and the boat makes you feel at home. If you can book with Almissa, I can promise you that you won’t regret it. I will be returning for a third time, specifically for the Almissa crew!!!

The staff at Sail Croatia made us so comfortable - from immediately understanding and responding to my daughter's aversion to seafood, to accommodating some last minute changes to our plans. I'm a skittish eater, but the food - both on the ship and in the ports - was delicious and fresh. While excursions were available everyday, it was perfectly fine to enjoy the sundeck or the lounge instead. The bar onboard was a little expensive, and you can't bring your own drinks onboard, but Marko's Special is now a new favorite! Our Explorer trip was blessed with a dynamite group of passengers from around the world, and we were able to connect and all have fun together - the small group size of the ship is conducive to that. Finally, a special shout-out to Klara, our Cruise Director (who didn't get the reference to Julie on the Love Boat). Klara was knowledgeable about how the ship works, what's available to do in the ports, where the good food is, and where to find hair products and bandaids!

We were very excited about this trip and the cruise did not disappoint! All the crew members and our tour guide were extremely accommodating, helpful, and made our stay extremely pleasant. We loved the mix of downtime on the boat and time spent exploring all the port cities. We were very excited about all the excursions and did quite a number of them. I highly recommend the bike ride, the blue caves tour, and the Krka national park. The swim stops were absolutely gorgeous each day. Our entire boat became an extended family by the end of the trip. We had a great trip in June 2025. We sailed from Split to Dubrovnik on the boat Tempera (an older vessel, built in 2014). Our cabin was on the lower deck. We did have a few issues with our cabin. When we checked in, one of the beds was not made up. This was not a major issue, as we made it up ourselves. Additionally, the toilet in our cabin was running, so we alerted the crew, who advised us to flush the toilet in a specific manner. This helped, but it did not solve the problem, as the toilet still ran intermittently. The TV in our room did not work. Upon speaking to other guests, this was a common issue. The main issue was that the cabin smelled like sewage one evening. We spoke to the crew, who mentioned that a tank needed to be emptied. They emptied the tank, but again, if they could have emptied the tank in advance to prevent this from occurring, it would have improved our experience. The crew was friendly, fun, and helpful. The itinerary was great, and we loved the swim stops.

It was my first time visiting Croatia and first time on this type of cruise. Both were incredible - the small Explorer cruise was a great way to explore the islands of Croatia. The sea and landscape in Croatia are stunning. Our tour guide, Vicko, was knowledgeable and friendly. I appreciated how honest he was about which excursions would give us the best experience, he never pushed us to book something unless he really thought we would enjoy it. (And all of his recommendations were spot on.) We traveled as a family with a broad age range, and the Explorer cruise was fun for everyone. If you can, I'd recommend spending a few days before or after the cruise visiting the cities, since we spent almost all of the time on the islands.

The cruise was incredible. I felt at home the second I got on the boat. The staff was so friendly and everyone on our boat was as well. The boat was incredibly clean and luxurious. I loved how we had time in the morning to relax and then the afternoon to do excursions and explore. It was the perfect balance. Our guide Vicko was amazing! He had so much information to share and was always honest with his recommendations about what he thought were the best things to do at each stop. We chose Sail Croatia Explorer Cruise on the Salve De Mare as our summer family vacation with our 20 and 24 year old children. It was the perfect mixture of relaxation, sight seeing, adventure, and exploring. Our travel rep, Vicko, was awesome. He was always leading the way with great advice and direction. The crew of the Salve de Mare went above and beyond to accommodate and ensure everyone had a good time. The food and drinks on board were diverse and delicious. The intimate experience of a small ship was even better than we expected. You get to know the passengers and crew but also have time to spend on your own. The smaller ship allows for entry into smaller ports that you wouldn't get to experience on a large cruise line. Our week aboard the Salve Di Mare with Sail Croatia was nothing short of amazing! As the first cruise of the season, it was wonderfully peaceful — the towns were quiet but still full of charm, giving us a chance to enjoy Croatia without the usual crowds. Special mention goes to our guide, Anita, who was simply next-level amazing. Her passion and deep knowledge of Croatian history made every moment memorable. If you're considering this trip, my one tip would be to fly/start in Split and fly/finish out of Dubrovnik with a few nights in each.

The trip was great for my restricted mobility. The railings on all walkways and stairwells made walking around the ship possible. The crew were always available to offer a helping hand or arm. One of the sailors - Mario - was exceptionally thoughtful. He carried my mobility scooter on and off the boat, storing and charging it overnight. He was sensitive to my fears, crossing from boat to boat, offering encouragement and praise, as well as physical help. Wonderful intuitive personal skills!

Loved my 7 day cruise on Almissa! Every day waking up to stunning Croatian islands, towns and cities was such a fantastic experience with options to do as much or little as you want. We did a 7 night cruise from Dubrovnik to Split on Salve Di Mare with two teenagers, other family and friends. There were 10 of us and another 28 people on board. The boat itself is lovely with spacious cabins , a great dining room, tons of sun beds on the top level , a large outdoor lounge area and a spa at the front. So glad we chose this option instead of a catamaran. The itinerary changes as you go so you cant plan to do activities apart from those offered on the boat (which you book the day before each port) . We did the bike hire at Mijet, both wineries and the dune buggy tour. The dune buggy is not what we expected. No ‘off road ‘ dune bashing… just a ride around the island in buggies or jeeps on paved roads. Not worth the 60 euros each person. Make sure you get off the boat at Hvar when they offer a water taxi as it is a lovely town. Make sure you see the Blue Cave near Vis. It is spectacular. The meals are great (included) and the drinks expensive on board (not included).

Pero and Branco were great - helpful, friendly, hard-working. We would love to sail with them again! We booked a twin (for our daughters) and a double room (for myself and my husband), but we were given 2 twin rooms, which was not ideal. We booked our trip well in advance and confirmed at the time of booking that we were reserving a twin and a double. The meals were great - however, I would love to see an option of a lighter lunch - maybe some good salads and a protein option, versus the heavy lunch meals. Anna’s lack of experience showed and it would have been nice to have someone who knew the history a bit better. Additionally, she would only give her daily update at the end of lunch, after dessert. If you skipped dessert, you missed the recap. It would be better for her to give the update at the beginning of lunch, as everyone was sitting down and waiting for the food. This way, people could discuss the excursions during lunch. Also, her directions & information were not great.

This was my first experience of doing something like this and I came along with my daughter, not knowing what to expect. The experience surpassed my expectations. The crew were brilliant, in particular I would mention Branco, who ensured that my complicated dietary needs were met every day. He always had a smile on his face. The food was amazing and there was plenty of it. Lola was very helpful and gave us lots of information. What made the trip so much fun was the group of people on board from all around the world. One thing I would say though, is that we were a bit disappointed that some of the excursions listed and we were hoping to do, didn't go ahead. Maybe it should be mentioned in the advertising that certain things may not happen as this was disappointing. In particular, my daughter wanted to do the kayaking and then we were told that it really wasn't very good. Maybe in your advertising you should say that or that it is weather dependent. Apart from this, truly fabulous.!

The boat was well equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast selection was plentiful and varied. The 3 course lunch every day was delicious! All the stops had something different to offer and we enjoyed every one. We were blown away by the beauty of the country! The crew were fantastic. Lola was our very informative guide and looked after us well, always being on call whenever we needed help or advice. Branco was so helpful and smiley and gave so much thought into making the meals suitable for my Mum who has quite specific dietary needs. Yolande was always so friendly and had a 'nothing is too much' attitude even lending us her phone one day to listen to music. The rest of the crew were great too. The only thing I was a little bit disappointed with was a couple of the excursions were discouraged/didn't happen - but we enjoyed each stop anyway. Our Cruise on Tempera exceeded my expectations in all ways. The above deck cabins were lovely and more spacious than expected with large windows and doors to the outside to take in all the views. Food was very good with large helpings as well as water/ tea/coffee and lights snacks available throughout the day at no cost. Our Sail Croatia adventure was an unforgettable experience, and we couldn't have asked for a better tour rep/coordinator than Ivan Bozic and the boat's Captain Davon along with his crew (Tina, Cezar, Tonci, Marko, and Darija). His dedication to our safety throughout the trip was truly commendable. He planned the best excursions and we enjoyed learning about Croatian culture and history as well. De boot was prachtig,het eten heerlijk. De bemanning heel goed en vriendelijk, de hut was keurig. We hebben hele mooie dingen gezien Een onvergetelijke reis! 1 nadeel:drankjes aan boord zijn wel erg duur. The boat was wunderful, the food delicious. The crew very good and friendly, the room was super. We've seen beautiful things. The trip was unforgettable! (1 thing:the drinks on board are very expensive)

We did an Explorer Cruise on the Katarina in August and had a wonderful time. The boat was very modern and luxurious and the cabins were spacious and clean. We loved the daily swim stops at beautiful bays. Our guide Stjepan was great and took us on daily walking tours at every island we visited and gave us great dining recommendations every day. The food was of an excellent standard. Thanks very much to the Captain Ivan and the rest of the crew who were very friendly and helpful. There was also a great mix of guests, of different nationalities and ages but we all got along very well.I highly recommend this cruise to anyone that wants to experience the beauty of the Croatian islands on a luxurious small ship cruise.

Our Tour Manager Ivana was so knowledgeable and friendly, she showed us great places to visit and joined the group for dancing and singing on the boat too.... Ivana took us on some great tours. Our waiter Eril on the Princes Diana cruise was very attentive, friendly and smiled even if was up early and to bed late...he couldn't do enough for you. The size of our room was surprisingly larger than I expected and could take the large suitcases under our bed...We had a room on main deck area which all the other boats had to pass to get from one ship to another when docked, but we never heard anyone pass our door late at night so that was a bonus... a wee tip, I felt our room was a bit damp with the air conditioning and door closed, however my brother kept his door open when we were sailing as money locked in safe and trusted our crew and travellers on board and the breeze would flow through which was refreshing.

We had a great group of people of varying ages and nationalities. I was a bit worried as we had our young adult children , 21 and 18 with us but there were4 other teenagers on board along with around 4 other couples in their early 20s. The cruise itself was amazing, I loved the schedule of breakfast, swim stop and then explore a new place/ go on an excursion in the afternoon. The staff were amazing, always willing to go above and beyond and our guide Vicko, so knowledgeable and helpful. The boat itself had a great setup and very cosy and friendly feel about it.

The entire team on the Almissa boat exceeded our expectations. Karolina was our tour guide and she was organized, kind, and very helpful in providing tips for each destination. If you are “island curious,” you can’t go wrong with this plan! The crew and Ivana were excellent and happy to help with any needs and questions. Communication was great. The food exceeded my expectations. Other travelers and I agree that a solo/singles cruise is needed - an adult party cruise. We’d come back for that!

Our cruise director, Iwana, was amazing....She was on top of everything, making sure we all had a wonderful time. She jumped on the slightest request or concern...Seemed to be working every minute. She truly enhanced the experience, far beyond expectations. Croatia is beautiful and our excursions were enjoyable. Time relaxing on board gave us the chance to socialize with great people. The meals were delicious and food was plentiful, Only drawback to the dining room was that it was difficult to hear---a microphone for the daily updates would be helpful...Acoustics in the room make even conversation across a table tough. Truly a wonderful experience I'm happy to recommend to anyone considering it.

I enjoyed my experience with Sail Croatia so much. It was the perfect way to see Dalmatia. I love that the ship was not too big - it made making friends (from all over the world!) a lot easier. The crew was excellent as well as Ioana, our guide and main contact. The swim stops were awesome and the chef accommodated my dairy allergy beautifully. Thank you Sail Croatia!

Our Split to Split travels with Sail Croatia on Princeza Diana were amazing from start to finish! I was concerned that seasickness might be an issue, but it was smooth sailing ever day. Our cabin was plenty big with comfortable beds and nice linens. The layout of the boat suited all of our needs with spots to soak up the sun, visit with other travels, or relax on our own. The food was outstanding! Every day at lunch we were presented a delicious 4 course meal! Breakfast always included fresh fruit, an egg dish, meats, yogurt, etc. We looked forward to the daily swim spots and exploring different towns each day. The crew was exceptional: Friendly, hardworking, and helpful! Ivana, our tour manager, was knowledgeable and so personable! She gave us advice and recommendations that were spot-on every time. She even arranged for a taxi for us after our cruise had ended and she was out at sea again! We strongly urge anyone considering a cruise to sign up with Sail Croatia.

Everything about this trip was absolutely perfect! The boat was clean, the food was good, and the crew went above and beyond for us. Boris and Erol worked hard to ensure that all of our needs were met when we were on the boat, and Ivana provided help finding and booking everything off the boat. I would highly recommend the size of boat that Sail Croatia offers. It was so great getting to know the group of 32 guests on board, but never felt overwhelming. The boat itself was big enough that individuals and families could have their own space when needed, but we also decided to have some big group dinners together. I could not have asked for a better group of guests or crew. I will remember this trip forever!

We had a wonderful time on Princess Diana cruise ship!!! It was a fun and super relax atmosphere! The other fellow passengers were so nice and we had fun getting knowing them! The excursions offered were great!! Most of all the whole entire crew made it special! Everybody was so friendly. Boris and Erol were fantastic!! Made us wonderful coffee and cocktails! They were fun and very attentive to all our needs-above and beyond!! Ivana our tour director was phenomenal!!!She gave us lots of information about Croatia in our meeting! She encouraged questions! Gave us orientational tours in every ports. She made sure all our needs were meet!! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful vacation!! Booked ride, water taxis, restaurant reservations and a wonderful goodbye dinner at the end with all of us on the boat. She’s very knowledgeable about Croatia, it’s history and it’s people!! She really made this vacation the best ever!!! Thanks to all the crew!!!!

Our explorer cruise was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults in our 50s and 2 girls in their 20s ) Klara our tour director was great, full of useful information and a great sense of humour. All the staff on our cruise , the Almissa were super friendly and attentive. The boat was spotlessly clean . The cruise stops were fantastic. Thoroughly recommended as a great way to see the beautiful islands off the Dalmatian coast with the perfect blend of relaxation and sightseeing!

The boat was an excellent choice called Salve di Mare It had everything you need amazing food for breakfast & lunch & tea, coffee & cold water at any time of day.. The swim spots were out of this world amazing with floaties & paddle boards to play with. The Host Klara was a beautiful person that was very helpful & would go out of her way to make sure you had all the information you needed & was very informative & funny too. She really made our trip enjoyable & memorable. Our daughter’s recommendation Sail of Croatia & we would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to do a cruise in Croatia. We will definitely do another one with them.

My sister and I sailed on the Almissa with Klara and the sweet crew. They made the trip extra special . From Kara’s deep, genuine laugh to the cozy blanket I was given early one windy morning so I could enjoy my morning cup of coffee on the sundeck I had all to myself. I loved how organized the tour was. Klara kept us infirned of all the upcoming events very well. I loved the What’s App group chat so we could all communicate easily, stay informed and share fun photos. The daily swim stops were so much fun. I loved swimming to shore a few times to explore on my own. Several of us even jumped I to the water from the very high sundeck. So much FUN!!! The excursions were very organized and perfect for each stop. And each island was incredible. I’m even adjusting my plans after the cruise so I can enjoy Vis more. There is something for everyone on this trip: the young girls on their hen party trip all the way to the elderly ladies. I’ll do it again with my husband!!!
