We enjoyed having a relatively small group of fellow travellers being 36 in total from Australia, Canada, South Africa, UK and USA. Our cabin was comfortable although the quality in pillows and towels was poor. The chef and catering staff did a magnificent job with meal preparation it’s was always delicious The dining saloon however was very noisy during meal times and made conversation difficult The islands/towns visited all had something different to enjoy and we soon chose our favourites. The staff were all friendly and courteous and the boat comfortable and in good condition .We were disappointed that smoking was allowed in the inside deck area which was enclosed with plastic coverings. and attached to the dining saloon. This was especially unpleasant and meant many of us could not utilise this area. This issue was reported to the staff however we felt the resolution unsatisfactory. Regardless of these issues we did enjoy the experience and had a lot of laughs.

What a blessing to be able to experience the beauty of the Dalmatian islands. The highlights were the bike rides! Tonka and Lucija were amazing guides with all the information required to enjoy each trip and also safe rides. Never felt unsafe on the roads. Islands are gorgeous and the bike rides gives a full sensory experience! It's definitely the best way to visit Croatia! Ante, the captain, and his crew were excellent! The only thing to improve is the morning coffee and having tea at anytime of the day part and included in the package. We were on the lower deck, and it was quiet if you have this as a priority on your trip. The group was excellent and made friends for life. Highly recommend Sail Croatia!

We had such an amazing time on the Princeza Diana with Marin and Ivan and the rest of the crew. The biking was very safe thanks to Marin and Ivan and the views were stunning. Marin was very particular in keeping us in line which was a good thing - safety first. We all had so much fun!! The islands had some of the best views I have ever seen and without cycling to the top, most visitors would never see these views. Our meals were amazing and all the crew members were friendly and met all our needs. They all worked so hard. Our rooms had a good amount of space and were very clean. I loved the upper deck with the loungers. We ended up having a few yoga classes thanks to Jan (one of the guests). I would highly recommend Sail Croatia. I miss everyone already and we have only been home 3 days. THANK YOU SAIL CROATIA!!!

Our cruise felt like a private cruise with only 7 staterooms full, 13 passengers, but a full staff of nine. The crew delivered lovely breakfasts- my favorite was the Muesli with fruit and sautéed veggies with added cheese. The coffee machine was available 24 hours. The swim stops were great even if cold water and arrival at the bigger locations like Split, Dubrovnik and Hvar by 2/3 gave plenty of time to visit town and have a great dinner (always good suggestions for restaurants) without the big cruise ship crowds. Nice big bathroom and shower in room was a surprise and everything was kept so clean. Lunch on boat was always bigger then I am used too but as a great salad was always available it worked great.

I was looking for a trip with a combination of relax and adventure and the Sail Croatia Explorer itinerary delivered it. You get into a routine of breakfast, swim stop, lunch then explore the island. Our rep did a wonderful job of explaining each island coming up and possible excursions. I liked how we didn’t have to commit to excursions before the trip. We could play it by ear day by day. He pointed out key points of interests and made great recommendations of places to eat. The only feedback I would give for the cabin is to install an exhaust fan in the bathroom. The shower makes the room steamy and since we were on the lower deck, we couldn’t open the porthole. The AC unit was turned off at night and without the flow of air, towels and bathing suits did not dry quickly. I would also make sure guests aware to bring more cash than they think they need. Excursions, bar tab and tips are all paid in cash.

We had an incredible experience with Sail Croatia’s e-bike tour! The scenery was stunning, the boat was beautiful and owned by the captain who clearly took pride in it. The food was consistently delicious. I especially loved our head guide, Tonka — she inspired confidence, kept everyone safe and organized, and brought such competent energy to the whole trip. I think they are lucky to have her as an employee — she’s an absolute treasure. The entire crew was friendly and professional. Highly recommend this adventure!

We travelled on the Princess Diana from Dubrovnik to Split. From the start, the guides ( Marin and Ivan) greeted us warmly and were very friendly throughout the trip. Marin was excellent at organising the rides and explaining the history of the particular island. By the end of the trip we felt that we had a real understanding of Croatian history in these islands. Ivan was great in encouraging us on the rides and doing a lot of the organisational work behind the scenes. They made a great team. Outside of the cycling, we had most interaction with the two waiters/barmen ( Ivan and Karlo) who worked so hard - especially at meal times - and stayed up late to serve us drinks after we came back from dinner. Special mention also to Marko and Maria for our “plentiful” meals everyday - prepared in that tiny kitchen. We didn’t have much interaction with the other crew members although they were super efficient at docking and getting the bikes off the ship. A great team throughout.

We enjoyed our Split to Dubrovnik cruise; a great itinerary with lovely ports of call. The crew on board were exceptional - Max and Milan especially were so friendly and attentive - they really made us feel welcome. The cruise director, Dino, worked hard to help us with port stops and excursions. Overall, a great trip but there are definitely a few things that could be done to improve the experience: for instance, tea and coffee should be available throughout the day - we had to pay 3.50 euros for each cup of tea, and the trip excursions were very expensive eg we paid 60 euros each for the Vis tour which had 8 of us crammed into a closed landrover and those in the back unable to see anything out of the window or hear anything the driver said. The food on board ship was very carbohydrate heavy - very few veggies eg menu on day 2 was: starter = pasta, main course = rice and bit of meat, dessert = semolina type pudding. I was craving some fruit and veg! Overall a good experience though.

The staff and crew on the Mali Anti are wonderful. Attention to detail fantastic. Rooms spotless and surprisingly spacious and very comfortable beds. Risk assessments and daily briefing are first class. Food was varied and delicious. The cycling was superb with amazing routes to gorgeous Croatian villages. But the hills were long! When they say 4/5 difficult they mean it! Electric bikes looked a tempting option. But very pleased to still achievable the 100 miles on my classic bike.

The food was a minor miracle, our cook provided such delicious meals day after day. Our two guides were great and the ships crew looked after us really well. Our experience on Sail, Croatia aboard Princeza Diana was exceptional on every level! From the crew -special nod to Ivan and Marin-, to the food, small group nature of the trip and the exceptional friends we made a board, we will remember this trip for the rest of our lives! The food was delicious, the pace of the biking activities was extremely enjoyable, and the views and vistas encountered on each unique island were unmatched in any travel we've ever done. This experience will change the way we travel forever and we are so thankful for the memories made this past week.! Placing us on a ship with like-minded, similar aged people was the special touch that will leave our memories enhanced. We highly recommend taking an E bike. As we felt safe and well looked after while enjoying our vacation.

Our leaders, Marin and Ivan P were absolutely terrific and made it a superb trip. They were organized and efficient and had great senses of humor. One thing that detracted a WEE bit from the trip was the lack of black tea and good coffee. There are those in our group that are tough to be around until they are caffeinated and yet they get up early so it was difficult having to wait until after 7:00. On all the premier plus type of trips we have taken in the past decent quality tea and coffee were provided all day via machines or at the bar.

The intimate experience of a small ship was even better than we expected. You get to know the passengers and crew but also have time to spend on your own. The smaller ship allows for entry into smaller ports that you wouldn't get to experience on a large cruise line. Everything was great, from the cabin to the food, the swim stops, would honestly not have changed a thing. If you ever get the chance, I would highly recommend that everyone enjoy the Sail Croatia experience at least once!

We had a fabulous time on our week with Sail Croatia. The cycling was as challenging as you wanted to make it. Well organized. You see the most spectacular views on the rides. We had e-bikes which made the steep hills very manageable. The ships crew were great and we felt in safe hands with the Captain sailing the boat. Every member of the staff was great! The 2 guides, Marin & Ivan did an awesome job of leading our bike trips on each island. Marin told us the history of Croatia and each island. Ivan entertained us with his humor! They both were very professional and safety conscious. Finally, the islands were so beautiful while biking through the country side. I road an e-bike and I’m so glad I did.

We had a great week cycling round Croatia’s islands. Tour guides Ivica and Anita were superb. Ships crew were all great. Itinerary was excellent, cycling in the morning, navigating to a new island in the afternoon then exploring new ports. Bikes were fine, better than expected. Cabins and food on board were ok, although understandably not luxurious. Recommend getting e-bikes because Croatia is hilly.

The views from the ship and cabin were incredible as were the crew and people aboard!!! We sailed during the day for a few hours at a slow pace allowing us to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. At night, we were able to explore each of the ports on our own or join in group dinners or activities. It was the perfect mix. Can't wait to go on next cruise with Sail Croatia.

Everything was very well organised.The boat crew were friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The tour guides Ivica and Anita were fantastic. Ivica went out of his way to give us better and more bike riding experiences while ensuring we were safe from strong winds etc by changing the itinerary to suit. Anita was very knowledgeable about local sites. All the crew were very cohesive and jolly, the food was great and plentiful and we had a wonderful experience. Their love for their job and their beautiful country shines through. We'll be back !

The guides and crew on our trip made for a perfect week on Emanuel. Tonka and Lucy were wonderful guides. Very informative at each daily briefing, and then throughout the rides they made sure everyone always knew what was ahead. The routes chosen were fun with gorgeous scenery. Our food in the ship was very good. Service was great. All in all fabulous week in the Croatian islands.

The staff were superb! Our bike guides, Josef and Jay, were experienced and made sure we saw all the sites while staying safe as we bicycled around the various islands. The scenery was breathtaking! And the water is so clear. Even though it is early in the season and the water was cold, we still enjoyed the swim stops. Food was excellent and the cook and waiters accommodated my lactose free diet. We had breakfast and lunch on the ship and dinners were generally in the small towns. Rooms are small but there are plenty of places on the ship to hang out. Such a fun trip!

The crew our tour representative Vicko the personal touch. We only had 16 guests on our boat. The food was 👏 amazing. I loved all the islands and villages we visited. Vicko recommended certain trips and each one was a great experience. Vicko energy and knowledge and enthusiasm was brilliant. I have been recommending sail Croatia to all my friends and family. It was a truly memorable 40th anniversary trip. We will most definitely sail with sail Croatia again. Do more islands. Wish I was back on board now. We also made new friends who since we left have been messaging which is lovely. This is because it was a small intimate group and vicko encouraged mixing together at breakfast and lunch. I loved when we all hired bikes and cycled together around the national park. Well done to our captain the crew and our amazing tour guide Vicko. I hope to meet you all again. My husband and I did the Bike and Boat Southern Route May 1-11, 2025. I can't say enough good things about this trip, from the crew; the outstanding organization of the biking from storing the bikes, fitting the bikes, loading and unloading the bikes (wait until you see how they do it!); and most of all, the rides (even coming down from one summit in the pouring rain). Our guides, Miranda and Lucija, were outstanding. Personable, patient, knowledgeable, strong riders. Great food as well. Cabins were simple but quite serviceable. And Croatia! What a gorgeous, fascinating country. Take any bike and boat tour with Sail Croatia and you won't be disappointed.

I was initially undecided about doing a group sailing trip, but am very glad I did. Klara and the Almissa team did a fantastic job making sure we were looked after, fed, and entertained. The Stari Grad wine tasting and morning swim stops were the highlights. Klara went out of her way to ensure we knew exactly what was happening when, and you never felt it was a nuisance asking for help. There was a good mix of ages and mostly Australians, Kiwis & Americans in the group. Would recommend.

Thankyou for making my first cruise and first cycle tour such a wonderful memorable experience! Onboard service was fantastic-crew are friendly and helpful. Special mention to chef who cooked up the most delicious (albeit oversized portions) every day. Cycle guides were fantastic - making sure everyone had a safe, enjoyable ride each day. Each ride was perfectly paced with adequate rest stops along the way. My only criticism (and it's an admin one which is why the overall trip still gets 5 stars) is the info provided with regards to tipping. In the pre-departure info tipping is suggested at $40-$105. I expected this was for the crew and guides combined. However when we received the 2 envelopes, the attached note stated that expected tip per guest is $105 for the crew only. A separate envelope was provided for the guides tips! I was not the only guest surprised by this as others expressed the same and the impact this had on travel budgets. This should have been clearly communicated.

It was great to be part of a small group of travellers who all had similar interests and spoke English as our first language. I like how breakfast and lunch were provided. The food was well prepared and fresh. It was also nice to have the bar option. The room was a good size and the daily room cleaning service was appreciated. It would have been nice to have a laundry service. Another trip we recently took offered one small load of laundry for the week. I also appreciated the swimming stops. I noticed the other boats around us had snorkels and fins and SUP boards. That would have been great too. Inflatable SUP boards don’t take up any room. Overall a great experience.

Our two bike guides were the best! Each day the trips were challenging but fun! Having an e bike made the uphill climbs manageable. Touring a different island each day and having the crew get the bikes off and back on the boat made it convenient. The food was good and the crew were great. I’d take another Sail Croatia trip again.

We had a wonderful time on the Split to Dubrovnik Sail Croatia bike tour.! Sanja and H took us on daily delightful bike rides explaining the history and uniqueness of each island we visited. The crew, guides & boat were fabulous. The pictureques coastline & islands we visitied were asolutely amazing. A fun & engaging time was had with fellow travellers who were from Australia, Canada & USA. The onboard catering was excellent although not sure we needed dessert after every meal. A bowl of fresh fruit would have sufficed. As an Aussie coffee lover, the machine coffee & its cost made be worth some tweaking. A barista style coffee machine would be the only improvement I could recommend on our cruise.

We had a lovely friendly welcome aboard the ship Afrodita from Sanja and Hrvoje who were super guides throughout our visit. Both guides were very knowledgeable and had plenty stories to tell on our journey. Andre, our on board host, what can I say...he was superb. Andre was attentive and always ready to serve and help, nothing ever appeared to be too much trouble. He interacted with the guests in a friendly yet professional manner. He quickly learned all the guests names and greeted and acknowledged us each time we met which made us feel more like friends than guests. Our chef always made delicious food and was very creative when it came to my vegetarian dishes. The other crew members, Christiana, Ivan, and Randy worked industriously and tirelessly to ensure our comfort and safety. My husband and I had a wonderful balance of activity and relaxation in beautiful surroundings. I would definitely recommend this trip to friends and family (and strangers if they will listen)
