We really enjoyed the small ship atmosphere and being able to get to know your fellow passengers and make new friendships. The food was exceptional and it was nice not having every minute being planned for us. We were on the wine cruise and the winery experiences were fantastic. The tour leader (Lola) and the rest of the crew went out of their way to accommodate every request. I’d definitely recommend this company.

We travelled from Dubrovnik to Split on the beautiful Queen Jalena in May. Our tour coordinator, Lola, was incredible, generously sharing her knowledge of each port we docked at, daily menus, schedule updates, and helping with any and all queries along the way. The entire ship crew were absolutely fantastic — warm, professional, attentive, and always welcoming. The service throughout the trip was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere onboard was just so relaxed. Every stop along the coastline was stunning, the wineries we visited were passionate about their craft, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. In addition, we had the most incredible group of fellow travellers, all with their own interesting stories to share. Everyone looked out for each other, which made the journey even more special. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone wanting to explore the Croatian coast in comfort while enjoying outstanding hospitality.

16 friends enjoyed a 7 day cruise on the Romantic Star and it was wonderful. Our food was delish & prepared with such presentation by Sivilja & Laura.. Our Cruise manager - Anita- was very informative about every island, and made excellent recommendations and reservations. Captain Ivan was Great- we even got him On the dance floor!! What a joy it was to explore such a beautiful country!!

I'm sorry I cannot give a 5 star review. The great things about the ship was the chef, the crew and the facilities. All great - clean, organized, well run. My disappointment was in the lack of excursions on the islands between Dubrovnik and Split. I thought that we should have some kind of introduction to each island and short walking tour each time we docked. Everyday was a swim day and because the water was too cold to swim I had hoped that an adjustment would be made to the schedule for an alternate activity. Perhaps dock earlier to give us some time off the boat. There was too much sitting around time. From breakfast, through lunch there was nothing to do if you did not swim (& no one did). We did not disembark til 2 pm. Our tour dir. did her job perfunctorily and made arrangements as requested, She was not as visible or involved with our group. Although she said she has been doing this for 4 years she came off as unsure and inexperienced.

The wine cruise was amazing in all respects. The ship, staff and tour director surpassed all expectations. The food was very good. The chef and assistant produced incredible meals and catered accordingly for anyone with allergies etc. Lola, our tour director, was so knowledgeable and ensured our wine experiences were memories for life. The ship was perfect and our captain made decisions when the weather changed to take the safest and smoothest route. I would highly recommend this trip.

We loved pretty much everything about this Wine Themed Cruise. Our cruise director Lola went above and beyond to answer all our questions, provide helpful recommendations, take awesome photos and share lovely Croatian customs w/ us. The CREW worked their tail feathers off, especially Pamela & Lucy behind the bar! Service always with a BIG smile. Josef & Josef also worked hard to make sure our sail made it safely in and out of every port. We enjoyed having dinner w/ Captain Gordon and hearing all about his ship! The crew who prepared our meals were amazing. Not sure how they got 30+ meals all out at once from their tiny kitchen. With that being said, there were a couple of things I would have preferred. Often the food was served at room temperature which I prefer my food to be served hot. I also found it often lacked seasoning. I would have liked to see a more varied menu. With that being said… the Tuna steak was amazing and the Lamb Shank too die for! DESSERTS excellent ❤️

My husband and I travelled with my parents and we had the best time! Dino, George, Linda, Allie and the rest of the crew were amazing and did everything possible to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. We could have not been happier with the trip! Since I didn’t get to fill out the iPad survey on the ship I have a few minor suggestions: My husband would have preferred breakfast that wasn’t the same every morning. The shower floor was very slippery so a mat in the bottom would have been nice. The dining room was very loud when we were all there so more softer surfaces to absorb the noise would help. The days were arranged so nicely and we felt taken care of very well. Thank you!!

Sailing from Dubrovnik to Split on the Wine Cruise aboard the Queen Jelena was my first cruise and first time to Croatia. Sail Croatia was a wonderful experience. The Tour Leader was warm, attentive, and proactive in ensuring the guests were informed and comfortable. I appreciated the "off the beaten path" experiences with winemakers and private tours. The crew were highly competent and the ship and accomodations were clean and tasteful. With the wine focus for the trip, the group of guests from around the globe bonded and developed friendships that will last beyond this vacation. I highly recommend. I was traveling as a single woman with friends (a married couple) and always felt welcome by the other guests and staff.

Our cruise to some of the Croatian Islands was a wonderful experience. So much beauty and history. The Esperanza is a lovely boat and we were very comfortable. The crew were charming, helpful and looked after our every need. The food was delicious but three courses was almost too much at times! The Captain ran a tight ship and took us to some beautiful bathing spots in the clear waters of the Adriatic. Being a small boat we got to know our fellow passengers from different parts of the world which was an added bonus. We enjoyed our holiday enormously and will remember it for a long time to come. I recommend this holiday to anyone who loves beauty, history and warm friendly people.

The entire experience, down to the smallest details, was extremely well coordinated and executed.The transfers from and to the airport went smoothly and the drivers made us feel comfortable and the one on the incoming transfer gave us great options for places to visit the day before we sailed. Anita was above and beyond helpful in all aspects of the cruise. She communicated any and all details very well and in a timely manner. She made sure to coordinate excursions and dinners in port that would meet our interests as well as making sure we knew where specific amenities we may need were located on shore. The chef and sous chef did an outstanding job with the meals. The beautiful presentation, fabulous flavor, and broad range of menus for each onboard meal was amazing for such a small kitchen.Lunch and the captains dinner felt like a fine dining experience. Ivan and the crew made us feel welcome and preformed their tasks smoothly.. Bravo to the team at Sail Croatia and Romantic Star!

Everything about the cruise is first class. The boat “Olimp” is beautiful and extremely comfortable The crew were absolutely marvellous. The tour director gave clear and concise information and made everything we did fun as well I celebrated my birthday whilst onboard and can say that it will go down as one the most memorable! The crew helped to make my day very special. Our hostesses! What can I say attentive, friendly, helpful professional and fun too. I would love to return and do it all again.

We were on a wine cruise which was most enjoyable . Lola was helpful and knowledgable and warm. The staff on the boat were warm and friendly. The boat was comfy and the food very good . My two siblings, their spouses and I wanted to do a siblings trip, and chose the Wines of Croatia tour, the first of the 2026 season. Anita was our cruise director, and she was what made this trip so fantastic! With only 18 passengers, it was a super fun group. Anita was so helpful and friendly, which also seems to describe most of the people we met in Croatia! She's great at planning and communicating, and a pleasure to be with. The wine events are terrific and so varied! And evenings where you may want to find a restaurant (sometimes the wine events include dinner), Anita sent us recommendations in the ports for meals and things worth seeing. Chef Silvija did a fine job, and we enjoyed "cookie time" at 11am. Glad we all opted for the Blue Lagoon (short visit, but worth the trip!). Dubrovnik was where we ended our trip - amazing place, but if I had a choice, I'd start my trip there as we had culture shock with the huge crowds. Rooms lovely, and bedding comfy. Great captain and crew!

Sail Croatia Wine Cruise was wonderful! The crew and staff were outstanding and went above and beyond to make the trip a memorable event. The food was delicious, always expertly prepared and attractively presented. I was especially appreciative of the attention to detail for my food allergy. Anita was super great in planning our excursions and wine tastings. Each island stop was fun and unique for all to enjoy. Her enthusiasm was contagious! Everyone on our cruise was so kind and friendly. Croatia and the Dalmatian Islands are beautiful. It was a great adventure!

The itinerary was exceptional. The wine tastings were fantastic. The Romantic Star is a lovely vessel and well laid out. My only complaint is the non stop cigarette smoke from the staff (area located right beneath the outdoor lounge). The food was very good and all of the staff did an excellent job making our holiday a memorable one. Would highly recommend the wines of Croatia cruise.

We cruised from Split to Dubrovnik on Romantic Star for the Wine Tour late April. Everything was just perfect - the staff, the amazing food, great passengers, the ship itself (being very modern clean & comfortable) & our tour guide Anita made the whole trip very memorable for everyone. The weather was also perfect for walking at that time, however the water was still too cold for swimming. There were less tourists around and our boat wasn't completely full, so we had a nice group of only 19 passengers, which was perfect. I would highly recommend an Elegance cruise on the Romantic Star.

We were on the Romantic Star on the Elegance Cruise. The cabin suite was very spacious and had great storage for all our personal effects. Loved the full size windows to watch the scenery as we cruised. The crew really made an effort to accommodate my special food diet, which was really appreciated. We only had 19 passengers on our cruise as it was near the end of the season, which was really nice as there was so much space on the vessel to hang out. We loved the itinerary to all the different islands. This cruise is very good value for the price and would recommend it to others.

Ivan out tour guide was phenomenal. He taught us something new everyday about the history and geography of Croatia. He always made things interesting and fun. The entire schedule of the Wines of Croatia Cruise was perfect, never too much and always an adventure. We were treated like royalty on the ship and the accomodations were just right. The Queen Jalena is a marvel of a ship. I hope to sail with Sail Croatia again in the next year or tow, NO ONE could be better!!

Food was great, boat was very nice. The jacuzzi was not warm enough to use (end of Sept), which was disappointing. The boat only has heat or air and someone requested heat, but it left many of us feeling quite warm in the evenings. Overall a great experience, despite some small issues.

We were a group of 11 friends on the Queen Jelena Wines of Croatia cruise and had the trip of a lifetime! From the service, to the cleanliness of the boat, to the excursions, everything was flawless. Biggest shout out goes to our intrepid leader Ivan who was always organized and informative, and most importantly, put up with our antics. If we were to come back for another cruise, he would be our top request! And don't forget about the food! The breakfast buffet was always hot and filling. The three course meals were some of the best meals I had while traveling ever. Finally, the dining excursions included were such a delicious way to try traditional dishes. Sail Croatia truly does an exceptional job at customer service and tourism experiences. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

The food on board was delicious! The weather was superb which allowed us to look forward to each and every swim stop. Loved all the islands we visited. Our cruise director Anita was the absolute best. Always keeping us informed ahead of time on what to expect at each island and ideas on where explore, what activities to possibly participate in and amazing selection of restaurant choices. She was always quick to answer questions, make reservations and assist with any problems anyone had. What a kind beautiful person who clearly loves what she does. We have raved about our holiday and our Sail Croatia experience. What an incredible way to meet people from around the world, explore the many regions of Croatia. The experience onboard Katarina was personable, and fun, The crew knew us by name almost immediately. They were attentive, caring, easy going, fun and kind. The boat was well laid out, and when we were able, the swim stops were a highlight. The Captains dinner was an opportunity for us to celebrate our time on the water, and it did not disappoint. Ivan hired a live band, and we danced through each course at dinner, through until the end!

We enjoyed our travel of the Croatian islands with Sail Croatia. Ioana made the experience great ! She has given reliable information and realistic expectations of the activities every day. We made so many friends which added value to the experience itself! Food is great ! The cabin was spacious and clean. We just finished this 7 day cruise Split to Dubrovnik. Stormy weather on Day 1 forced some itinerary changes but the sun soon came out and all was plain sailing. Visited Hvar Korcula Mljet Sipan and Dubrovnik. Relaxed mornings with swim stops in isolated coves, 3 course delicious meals at lunch. In the afternoon and evening wine tasting and on shore dinners. We learnt a lot about Croatian wines and local life on the islands. Friendly crew , personable host Vin and the wonderful chef made for a very pleasant cruise.. Our upper deck accommodation was clean and comfortable. We'd recommend this cruise, suitable for 40s to 80s!

It's a very nice boat and wonderful crew! The ports were all fabulous. We loved each island that we visited. The food was plentiful and well prepared. We had unseasonably cool weather, but we were still able to enjoy a swim stop or two. We could always find a spot to enjoy cruising. Our cruise manager, Vedron was warm and friendly. He had a great sense of humor and gave wonderful port talks. We especially enjoyed the bike tour in Mljet National Park and the Military tour on Hvar. I would have like another opportunity to do a bike tour on another island possibly.

MV Katarina was excellent! Every aspect of the cruise was well thought through and enjoyable. The meals on-board were first class - plentiful amount of food that was tasty, beautifully presented and with good variety. The staff on board were friendly, helpful and provided impeccable service (particularly the wait/bar-staff). The cabin and bathroom were a good size and super clean, and the shower spacious with good water pressure and hot-water. The boat itself is kept immaculately clean and felt new with plenty of areas to relax and enjoy the scenery. The itinerary was great and provided a good balance between time for sightseeing and relaxing, with a variety of activities and tours on offer. I particularly enjoyed the swim stops in secluded bays. Special thanks to our cruise director Ioana who communicated well, was helpful and organised. I thoroughly recommend Sail Croatia (who were great at communication before the cruise) and MV Katerina.

Number one, the staff was excellent! From the time we entered onto the ship to the time we got off they were always there when we needed them. If someone also had food issues, they were also accommodating to the persons needs. The director, Ivan, also personalized, and went above and beyond some of the things to help us and make our experience very memorable! The staff also in charge of swimming, cooking, serving, cleaning, bartending were all very friendly. Second, the ship was in great condition and kept clean. Third, the two tours that were included were great with Ivan. Fourth, the Captain’s dinner was great and the band was excellent! And, the people that were on the ship with us ended up to be the best and we all had so much fun together! A feeling of family! Ivan, the director was superb!! Captain Ivan was also superb!
