This was a fabulous holiday! There are just three reasons I couldn't give it a perfect 5. 1. "Water toys"-having only 4 "floaties" when you have 36 people on board is not enough. On vacation, no one wants to jump is the sea and tread water for the duration of the swim stop. 2. The new Contessa is lovely. However, on the top deck there was not nearly enough loungers or chairs. People were having to share or go below deck. There was plenty of space for more. 3. It is a bummer that you advertise excursions to Explorer travelers but they actually do not happen or are not reccomended. We were excited on day 1 to go river rafting but once on board heard that that actually wasn't an excursion. Same with canoeing-said you "could" go, but that it was a very bad experience. Better tour operators or excursions need to be sourced. Lola was super and responsive. Martin and Neno amazing employees! Chef Bane and Marko fab. Charlie and Tino fun on deck, and maids were wonderful.

The Croatian itinerary was fantastic, and the crew were friendly and hardworking throughout the trip. Unfortunately, the condition of the Mali Ante did not meet our expectations. The ship felt older and less well-maintained than many others we saw in port. The jacuzzi was out of service for most of the trip, our shower leaked, & our lower-deck cabin was extremely noisy whenever the engines started. The cabin was also very damp, leaving clothing and towels moist and causing some clothes to develop a musty odor. We also found what appeared to be mold or mildew staining on our bedding. Breakfast was limited to one hour each morning, no snacks were provided between meals, and guests could not bring their own snacks or drinks onboard. Drinks were expensive, and the bar tab had to be paid in cash. Considering the ship’s condition and limited amenities, the suggested gratuities felt excessive. While Croatia was beautiful, the overall experience did not provide the value we expected.

Our week on the Sail Croatia Explorer aboard Almissa far exceeded our expectations. Lauren and the crew were amazing, and everything ran so smoothly. The swim stops were beautiful, and the food was always delicious. A special thank you to Bobby and Marko for catering so well to gluten-free dietary requirements - we never felt like we were missing out. A huge shoutout to Ceaser and Kafka for the fun nights, great music, and always bringing the good vibes. The week truly had something for everyone, whether you wanted a social night out or an early night in (or both, like us!). What really made the trip special was the group of guests. There was such a fun mix of people and ages (we're in our mid-20s), and by the end of the week, it felt like one big happy family. We’ve left Almissa with incredible memories and couldn't recommend this experience highly enough.

We scheduled our Sail Croatia trip hoping for a Family Adventure and it was SO MUCH MORE than we had even hoped! Croatia was beautiful! Waking up every morning on the Almissa to a new swim spot was epic and the excursions were fantastic! But Without a doubt, the best part was the people…the crew and the 32 new friends that we will never forget! Lauren, our host, was fantastic! She made every excursion seamless, and her brief history of each destination befire our arrival was one of our favorite parts of the trip. Thank you to Kavka and Ceasar for keeping our drinks full and keeping us laughing! ! To Marko and Bobby for the fabulous food and sensitivity to a dairy allergy. To Geo and Chapo for making sure we were safely docked, and ready for our daily swims. And to Captain Joseph for manning the helm safely! And to all of our new friends who started out as shipmates and ended as friends! What an adventure to remember!

Fabulous family trip with brilliant crew and fantastic cruise director. The 7 days we spent with Sail Croatia on an Explorer cruise on the beautiful Contessa is an experience I will long remember. Anita, our cruise director kept us updated every day and was super helpful with any request we had. Thank you Anita- your knowledge of our destinations, recommendations and patience was outstanding. Bar staff, Nino and Martin were good fun and always keen to help. Thanks for the card game lesson! The rest of the crew were also helpful and responsive to any requests- food was consistently very good and catered for our meal preferences. Great tour options at each location. Salve di Mare is a beautiful boat. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The lunches were delicious. Our guide Nikos was wonderful. He had recommendations for bars and restaurants and was helpful with the excursions. We had a small group and enjoyed all the guest on the boat. I cannot think of a better way to see the coast of Croatia. I would highly recommend Sail Croatia and Salve di Mare.

OMG… this trip was AMAZING! I found Sail Croatia on Google, from my very first enquiry right through to the very last day stepping off the boat, the communication & service were exceptional. My sister & I travelled from Split to Dubrovnik Day 1 unfortunately greeted us with rain, however the crew lifted everyone’s spirits with a welcome drink onboard, cosy blankets & warm hospitality all around. The crew were absolutely incredible, honestly cannot fault any one of them. They all worked so well together as a team. Nikos, the best! He kept us updated daily through both the group chat & verbal briefings, always making sure everyone knew the plans, timings & options available. knowledge of Croatian history & he delivered everything with humour & personality. Captain Frane constantly amazed watching him manoeuvre the boat into each port with such skill. Marco & Vlaho were both hilarious, friendly & absolute joy to see every single day. Dino, our tour manager was lovely and very responsive to our questions and requests. He often responded within a minute and was already taking action on our request. He was very knowledgeable about each location and gave us a daily briefing. The ship was beautiful and the staff friendly. Due to rough seas the itinerary had to be changed and we did not visit Vis, but instead went to Omiš, which was a lovely town with stunning landscapes and some exciting excursion options! They handled the itinerary changes gracefully and seamlessly. I've deducted one star as there were a few quirks along the way that could have made the stay more pleasant: The ship has AC, but only when the AC is turned on as a whole, so for the first couple nights and the last night our room was a nearly unbearable 77-80°F at night, there were a couple days where housekeeping came into the room, but the room was only partially done, like 1 out of 3 beds done. All in all it was an enjoyable experience though!

Traveling with Sail Croatia was an experience that was more than " just a cruise" where you are one of hundreds or thousands on a massive ship. It wasn't perfect, but I look back on the friendships we made, the cozy feel of the ship and I'm left with special memories of our time on the Adriatic. When we arrived in Split and were faced with two massive cruise ships at port, I was so thankful for the choice we made. Dino, our cruise director, was a very relatable, friendly guy who responded quickly with our questions. The crew were all very nice! I rated it 4/5 mainly because of a few issues such as ventilation in the cabin that made it uncomfortable for a few days. Otherwise, it would be 5/5!

Sail Croatia helped make the travel process seamless from start to finish. The communication before during and after made the decision to book simple, what to do during the cruise easy and decision to rebook in the future a definite. The staff was visible hardworking and always available to assist in any way need from pouring a drink, crossing a gap or information about local culture or traditions. The cruise director Dino was the best. He not only informative and professional but also fun and engaging. He arranged activities,,helped with bookings,, transport and was there for us to resolve an unexpected inconvenience with a flat tire on a bike excursion . Whike the weather was not perfect for our cruise. Dino and the Captain worked together to avoid the difficult uncontrollable weather and locate ports with better weather and new fun activities seamlessly. We cruised on the Salve di Mare and had a great experience from start to finish! Monica in Sales was my first point of contact and she was friendly, professional and always quick to respond. A pleasure to work with! The cruise itself far exceeded our expectations, primarily because of our Tour Manager, Vicko. He was outstanding!! Not only did he keep us informed about each day's itinerary and the optional excursions, he provided rich historical context and interesting trivia as well. He is a walking textbook on Croatia - but not in a stuffy professor-like way. Everyone on board absolutely loved him! Our bartenders, Marco and Vlaho, were also very service-oriented and friendly. They did an excellent job. As for the food, it was delicious! The chefs make everything on board so each dish was fresh and tasty. Passenger-wise, there were only 40 of us so we were able to get to know one another rather quickly. I suspect that many new (life long?) friendships were formed. Thanks, Sail Croatia!

Our experience with Sail Croatia was phenomenal! It was one of the best trips we've ever taken - offering a nice balance of relaxation on the boat and activities on the islands. It was great to have flexibility to explore on our own (using recommendations provided if we wish) or opt in to the excursions. We enjoyed that we docked in port every night so we could stay out and enjoy the island as long as we wanted. All of the staff were so welcoming, kind, and provided top notch hospitality! We also really enjoyed meeting our fellow shipmates and actually formed some deep friendships with others on the boat, which was unexpected but made the experience that much more special. We highly recommend this cruise!

Also daily it would be nice to know what the lunch was, perhaps even just posted somewhere.. But overall it was a great trip and I would do it again and would highly recommend

Overall, trip was fantastic. Boat was beautiful, spacious and very clean. Monica and her cleaning crew did an amazing job keeping cabins clean and linen refreshed. Like fairies because we never saw her. Vsisko was a very good leader. He was knowledgeable, had attention to detail. Enjoyed his morning 10 am debriefs and historical information. Swim stops were the true highlight of our adventure. The only negative, or, suggestion I would have is on the food. Overall, the flavors were very good. However, we all wanted a green salad every once-in-awhile. Could even make a large salad with chicken or shrimp the main course. Or, grilled vegies with the main course. Did not like the lamb chops. Chicken dish and hummus salad was delicious! Crew and staff went above an beyond to create a special wedding anniversary celebration for my husband and me. Great memories and will recommend Sail Croatia.

We had never booked a holiday like this so was a little apprehensive on what to expect. I can honestly say it was amazing. This was such a great way to explore Croatia. We were travelling as a family with 3 young adult/ teenage boys. This type of holiday had the perfect balance of visiting some absolutely stunning destinations and activities such a cycling around a beautiful National Park and driving a buggy through a vineyard and across the island to a beautiful beach. We particularly enjoyed our morning swim stop in beautiful locations were you could take a leisurely swim or paddle board and some snorkelling. Our boat was beautiful ( Queen Jelena) met some great people and the staff could not have done more for us - thank you Nikos and team. Would totally recommend this holiday - you will not be disappointed!

Such an easy and efficient way to see coastal Croatia. You meet lots of others on the boat, however there is plenty of time and opportunity to be by yourselves as well. The excursions are really worthwhile - we particularly enjoyed the bike ride in Mijet National Park. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I picked the below deck cabin as I was told it was quieter, however I would recommend an above deck cabin if you can. Could not fault anything with Sail Croatia and would highly recommend.

We specifically picked this boat for the hot tub which never worked for the entire trip. Very disappointed by this. We expected more regional dishes for lunch ie more seafood. Most meals were red meat based. The cabin bathrooms were far from clean. The floor under the sink was filthy and shower grout was in need of a cleaning. Really can’t say enough about the staff, super friendly and helpful and the itinerary was fantastic. All the stops were beautiful.

Travelled with my husband and daughters 22 & 20yrs old. Just back from a week sailing on Princeza Diana Explorer cruise, from start to finish booking and communication was stress free with Sail Croatia. The boat was lovely and clean, food was delicious. The crew members were very polite and welcoming. Our hostess was Ioana she was so much fun and very knowledgable and worked hard to organise lots of activities for us. Our fellow ship mates were just the best we had so much fun, lots of sight seeing dancing and laughing. I can’t recommend this cruise enough definitely one of our best family holidays so far Thankyou Sail Croatia.

I took my 19 year old daughter on the Esperanza Explorer cruise and it exceeded my expectations by far. The ship was beautiful, the rooms spacious, the staff fantastic and knowledgeable and the itinerary was perfect. We met a huge variety of people and had a chance to connect and make new friends due to the intimate size of the cruise. Sailing to a new swim spot each morning was the BEST way to start the day, Follow that with a superb lunch and just the right amount of education on the next ports history and things to do and then we were off to explore, wine taste, kayak, hike, shop or just hang at the beach. I think this is the best way to see some of the amazing smaller islands of Croatia with the comfort of not packing and unpacking. Highly recommend Sail Croatia.

Thank you so much to the Sail Croatia team! Vic and his colleagues were fantastic - friendly, informative, accommodating, and always available. Regarding the food, Inow realize I should have been a little more specific on my preferences, as a vegetarian. Very heavy on the carbohydrates including bread and pasta, which we had for lunch several days. I would love salads and fresh vegetables/greens with meals. All in all this trip was fantastic. So pleased with the experience, and would definitely consider doing it again.

We have just returned from a week on Almissa, having been on the same ship 3 years previously, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We loved everything about our cruise and were lucky to find a great group of like minded travellers on board who were brilliant company and very friendly. Almissa has an amazing crew, a captain who was very present and easy to chat to and hardworking, fun bar and serving staff. Klara was a fantastic guide with her humour, knowledge and helpfulness, she really made everything go seamlessly and was a lot of fun. Everyone worked hard and couldn’t do enough for us. We felt that the food was better this time than 3 years ago, so well done to the kitchen staff. We enjoyed all the beautiful towns and looked forward to the daily swim stops. We would have no hesitation in recommending this cruise and may even try another week with Sail Croatia in the future.

From the moment we stepped on the boat to the moment we departed we received excellent care from our Tempera cruise manager Nikos and his team. Nikos and his team were warm friendly and attentive to our every need. Nikos kept us informed via the WhatsApp group chat and daily announcements and did a fantastic job of coordinating all of the fun and interesting activities. The food which included daily breakfast and lunch were delicious. I also really enjoyed the fact that it was a smaller boat with about 35 guests. We really enjoyed meeting and getting to know our lovely fellow guests from around the world and it was fun to interact with them all during the various activities that were organized on our various stops and to run into them while out and about on the islands. Another thing that I really liked was being able to visit several amazing and beautiful places in a week without needing to pack and unpack between stops. This was an awesome experience and I highly recommend it.

This was hands down one of the best trips we’ve taken in years. There are so many things we loved about our experience but three things single handedly took first prize. 1. Our Sail Croatia guide Vicko was BRILLIANT!! His daily pre departure talks gave us so much rich context about the places we were going that elevated each days destination and he worked tirelessly to ensure all excursions were booked ahead of time and dinner reservations were made. We just returned from a week on the Tempera from Dubrovnik to Split. I cannot wait to tell all my friends in the US about Sail Croatia. The boat was very comfortable with plenty of common area space. What really made our trip special was the CREW on the Tempera. Anything we needed or requested was addressed immediately. The food was amazing and the chefs were great. The bartenders Max & Milan, were so friendly and always handled my special drink requests with a smile. Toma was great making sure we didn’t drown at the swim stops. They were all fun to talk to and went above and beyond to make sure we were all taken care of in every way. Finally Nicos our cruise director was perfection! He always gave fabulous recommendations for restaurants, excursions and also went above and beyond. He was so knowledgeable about every island and city we visited. Anything we asked him to do he did it quickly and efficiently. He is amazing at what he does! Thanks for a perfect week!
