I went on the Sail Croatia cycle cruise (Dubrovnik to Split) in June/July 2025 with my immediate family. Despite the heat, we had a marvelous time. The biking aspect was well-organized and our guides, Miranda and Matilda, were full of information and stories about our cycling routes and destinations. They were so much fun! The crew (apologies for lack of the correct Croatian letters on my keyboard), Toncii, Halim, Dinko, Zdravko, and our Captain Ivan, made the trip smooth and enjoyable. Each day brought a different view of Croatia. What a memorable way to spend my first visit here! Would love to come back :)

We have just returned from a week on Almissa, having been on the same ship 3 years previously, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We loved everything about our cruise and were lucky to find a great group of like minded travellers on board who were brilliant company and very friendly. Almissa has an amazing crew, a captain who was very present and easy to chat to and hardworking, fun bar and serving staff. Klara was a fantastic guide with her humour, knowledge and helpfulness, she really made everything go seamlessly and was a lot of fun. Everyone worked hard and couldn’t do enough for us. We felt that the food was better this time than 3 years ago, so well done to the kitchen staff. We enjoyed all the beautiful towns and looked forward to the daily swim stops. We would have no hesitation in recommending this cruise and may even try another week with Sail Croatia in the future.

From the moment we stepped on the boat to the moment we departed we received excellent care from our Tempera cruise manager Nikos and his team. Nikos and his team were warm friendly and attentive to our every need. Nikos kept us informed via the WhatsApp group chat and daily announcements and did a fantastic job of coordinating all of the fun and interesting activities. The food which included daily breakfast and lunch were delicious. I also really enjoyed the fact that it was a smaller boat with about 35 guests. We really enjoyed meeting and getting to know our lovely fellow guests from around the world and it was fun to interact with them all during the various activities that were organized on our various stops and to run into them while out and about on the islands. Another thing that I really liked was being able to visit several amazing and beautiful places in a week without needing to pack and unpack between stops. This was an awesome experience and I highly recommend it.

We sailed a 7 day cruise with Sail Croatia. The boat is called Katarina & it is part of the Elegance line. Captain Ivan, his staff and the cruise director were so welcoming and attentive. We had amazing swim stops every day, visited beautiful islands and had plenty of time to enjoy them. The boat is beautiful, new, well maintained, clean and very comfortable. I was sad to see the trip end and I would go again, if possible.

Our tour manager, Ioanna, was the shining star of the cruise. She is very knowledgeable about Croatia’s history, top things to do on each island, always goes the extra mile and consistently to ensure guests are well versed in all possibilities, she over delivers on every aspect of the role and has a great communication style, very light and funny. The crew is wonderful as well, very hard working and dedicated to their jobs. The cook staff was incredibly talented, and meals were delicious. And the captain was just lovely. Definitely one of the cleanest sails I have ever experienced. I would absolutely recommend the Olimp, it’s a family-owned boat and the Captain is the son of the owner.

My partner and I booked onto this trip to Croatia to join family who had already booked on. We all enjoyed a fantastic holiday and had a wonderful time away. This was hands down one of the best trips we’ve taken in years. There are so many things we loved about our experience but three things single handedly took first prize. 1. Our Sail Croatia guide Vicko was BRILLIANT!! His daily pre departure talks gave us so much rich context about the places we were going that elevated each days destination and he worked tirelessly to ensure all excursions were booked ahead of time and dinner reservations were made. Vicko is THE reason we will definitely be booking with Sail Croatia again! 2. The ship and crew- beautiful clean accommodation and the most amazing, welcoming, accommodating crew! It was really cool to get to know the captain too who was so welcoming and accommodating. 3. The food was just spectacular!! We really appreciated the opportunity to try so many traditional dishes while on the boat. We also loved the wine list which allowed us to try so many different Croatian wines over the course of the trip.

We just returned from a week on the Tempera from Dubrovnik to Split. I cannot wait to tell all my friends in the US about Sail Croatia. The boat was very comfortable with plenty of common area space. What really made our trip special was the CREW on the Tempera. Anything we needed or requested was addressed immediately. The food was amazing and the chefs were great. The bartenders Max & Milan, were so friendly and always handled my special drink requests with a smile. Toma was great making sure we didn’t drown at the swim stops. They were all fun to talk to and went above and beyond to make sure we were all taken care of in every way. Finally Nicos our cruise director was perfection! He always gave fabulous recommendations for restaurants, excursions and also went above and beyond. He was so knowledgeable about every island and city we visited. Anything we asked him to do he did it quickly and efficiently. He is amazing at what he does! Thanks for a perfect week!

Croatia was beautiful and going to the different islands by boat was a great way to see a lot in just one week. It was an incredible experience. Our rep, Anastasiia was SO sweet and kind, she made sure everyone had a great time and communicated all of the information needed for each day’s schedule and excursions. We loved our Sail Croatia Private Yacht Tour! Our skipper was knowledgeable and super experienced - he knew what to do for bad weather solutions and had excellent recommendations for good anchorages throughout the week. Our hostess was professional and personable. She made fantastic food, just the right amounts and nothing was ever a problem! They worked incredibly well as a team with good communication. We felt very well looked after and enjoyed spending time with them throughout the trip.

Dino, our tour guide, was amazing!! From the start of our trip right through to our departure, he was on hand with advice and support. We had an incredible time aboard Slice of Heaven with our amazing skipper, Toni, and wonderful hostess, Matea. From start to finish, the service was excellent, and we really appreciated the prompt and clear communication. Croatia is absolutely stunning, and experiencing it from the sea made it even more unforgettable. We would wholeheartedly recommend Sail Croatia to anyone considering sailing the Croatian islands. We were a family of 6, and sailed with two other families, each on their own catamaran. Getting to float and moor together at various buoys and marinas was so much fun!

Sailing was the best way to experience the beautiful islands and our skipper Ante went above and beyond to customize the trip to our preferences. He played a big role in making our time so special. Superb trip, so well looked after by all the crew and our wonderful guides Miranda and Matilda. When they said e bikes were powerful , too true. No hill however steep was an issue! Worth paying the extra for e-bike as it made cycling in the heat pleasurable. Also worth paying extra for cabin up top. Travelling with my sister in law , we had plenty of space and bathroom was fine. Food was tasty and there was always tea, coffee and water available . Finally , excellent company from a varied group of companions from all over the world. . Thankyou one and all.

The cabins and boat were clean and comfortable and the food exceeded expectations. Captain Josef (on Almissa) always seemed calm and nimble in his decisions to give us the best cruising experiences, finding lovely sheltered swim spots. Dino was organised and a very good communicator as cruise director. There was the right mix of passengers and activities to satisfy our grown up children and ourselves. We had a great time travelling on the Hound Dog in Croatia with Jo and Tony as our crew. Even when we had an emergency they were wonderful and helped in every way they could. We loved being able to stop wherever we want and swim and relax, and the food Jo provided us with was amazing. We would absolutely do it again if we could.

My Sail Croatia vacation was fabulous. Dino was our tour guide and he had excellent information for us every step of our journey. I am 75 and took my 18-yr old grandson, so he had a wide age range to cover. Bravo to Dino and the crew for making our trip such a memorable, fun time. I'm telling everyone I know to not only visit Croatia but use Sail Croatia for their travel plans. It was the best.

Anita was a perfect Cruise Director, and our experience with Sail Croatia, and the Queen Jelena was outstanding. Anita had so many ideas of ways to explore each destination that it was easy to pick the excursion experiences that were right for our family. She was always available for questions, provided endless tips and tricks to optimize our time in Croatia, and was simply delightful to be around. She said we'd leave this week feeling like a family, and she was spot on! Queen Jelena, including the Captain and crew, were gracious, passionate about service, and attentive to our every need. The food was truly EXCEPTIONAL. Hats off to the chef and sous chef...AMAZING food!!! The locations of our swim stops were fantastic. Swimming in the Adriatic Sea at these picturesque, unique little coves is something we will never forget. Thank you Anita, Sail Croatia & the Captain/Crew of Queen Jelena!

All crewmembers were absolutely amazing! From Dino, to Karlo, to Nikola and the Captain, they were all super professional and fun!! The itinerary was spot on for what we wanted to do and I really appreciate the professionalism of our Captain. We were docked next to another Sail Croatia boat at one point whose Captain was very disrespectful to the noise ordinance times and, in turn, the other boats around them. The only recommendation I have is to add lounge chairs to the top level, not just the mats. Absolutely beautiful and we had a great time!

This is my second trip with Sail Croatia, I think that says enough on how amazing they are. Every single second was so beautiful, exciting, and enjoyable. Our tour guide, Lola, was so lovely and you can tell she wants you to enjoy your time and fall in love with not only Croatia itself but the people within it. The crew on Almissa was definitely the highlight of my trip. From the captain, to the sailors, chefs, and waiters, words cannot describe how magnificent they made this week. The food is delicious and full of flavor, the cabins feel cozy, and the boat makes you feel at home. If you can book with Almissa, I can promise you that you won’t regret it. I will be returning for a third time, specifically for the Almissa crew!!!
