Had the most fabulous week onboard the Tempera. All the crew were helpful, and professional. Our Cruise Manager Dino was outstanding always smiling, nothing was too much trouble, he was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Our group was so sad to leave. 😃 Keep up the good work 👏

Really easy going and laid back. Small enough to feel comfortable with everyone as not too many guests. Good food, service and organisation and really excellent communication from Dino as to what was going on. Really felt like he was acting in our best interests at all times. All very nice staff who were always available to help with anything. Max was excellent and very attentive and helpful. A couple of the excursions were over-priced and I wouldn’t recommend but overall an excellent experience.

Went on the Split-Split cruise to celebrate a friends birthday. I really had no expectations but was totally blown away by how beautiful the Croatian coastline is. The crew on our boat was wonderful & our tour manager was great. The food & drink service was great but it would have been nice to have a larger window for morning coffee.

When approaching a. small ship experience we were not sure what to expect. What we received quieted our concerns and quickly turned into magic. Staff ♥️♥️♥️ Food ♥️♥️♥️ Fellow passengers (who quickly felt like family ) ♥️♥️♥️ My goal was to be the first one in the water and last one out ✔️ Pace of the day - perfection. We have riverboat cruised (Amawaterway), ocean liners (Regent and Oceania) but this one is SPECIAL. THANK YOU 🌼 Shout outs to Marco and Vlaho and Monica. Delights. Vhocho was our Sail Croatia rep. This cruise was so fun. The group of people on board were incredible and many became friends by the end of the trip. Dino, who was the guide was incredible, very funny, helpful, and gave some great recommendations/suggestions for things. I loved how it was set out - breakfast, then swim stop in the morning, lunch and then exploring the town in the afternoon. The only downside to that is that in the summer months it’s quite hot exploring town in the afternoon and since the boat leaves early next morning you may feel rushed. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because while they were as accomodating to dietary needs as possible, the food was below average for me being a vegetarian. Meals were undercooked and not well balanced. The non vegetarians said their food was great. Overall, I would recommend this boat if you want relaxation, exploration and a great time.

Just completed 7 day Split to Dubrovnik on the Tempera. Everything aboard was thoughtfully arranged and to a high standard. Our cabin was spacious enough for our needs, had strong water pressure in shower, and beds were comfy. Highlights were the fun and lighthearted fellow passengers from all over the world - we ate, drank, and laughed all week. And our consummate professional tour guide Dino - he had us completely dialed in on each island. Excellent recommendations, clear communications, and a true Croaia expert. He was a huge asset to our trip. Entire crew was professional and hardworking, especially server Maks who kept everyone fed and watered. Would not hesitate to book another Sail Croatia journey!

This was our first time visiting Croatia and first time on a small ship cruise. Both exceeded our expectations and we are already planning for a return trip. The Explorer cruise was a perfect, stress free way to explore the stunning islands of Croatia. Our tour guide, Vicko, was great. Always a smile on his face and incredibly knowledgeable of all things “Croatian”. He was always available and assisted us with extras like cabs and dinner reservations . We loved his daily destination talks and his take on which excursions would give our group the best experiences. We traveled with another couple and our Explorer cruise was a great combination of travelers from many countries whom we were able to get to know over the course of the week. I also want to give a shout out to the Salve di Mare crew who ensured we had a fabulous experience each and every day.

Our week spent on Sail Croatia - Almissa boat - was a wonderful experience. The boat itself was very adequate with plenty of room in the cabin, lounge areas dining areas. Our tour guide Anita was so lovely and friendly and had all the fabulous activities so well planned and organised and provided so many options outside the organised tours. Nothing was ever a problem for her. We were able to visit the blue cave only because of the boats captain and Anita knowing the weather patterns and logistics to reach that area. The cave was one of the the highlights of the tour for me. Good aboard was great and overall we couldn’t ask for more, May 2025

We enjoyed each destination, the swim stops and the variety of experiences. Our chief stew was amazing for coordinating activities, both free and paid, but we didn't do many excursions as they are pricey for the value, We still found plenty of fun things to do in each port! The accomodations and food fell short of our expectations though - there were three people on the boat with dietary restrictions or vegetarian, and we were only given extra services of the veggies/starch with no protein substitute. I often left hungry as we were unable to eat a lot for what was provided. The serving staff were also not accommodating, often dismissive or talking over our attempts to sort out alternatives for food. We also ran out of toilet paper a few times, and the showers didn't drain. Overall the itinerary made the trip worth while, but would hope to see a better effort to accommodate guests who don't eat meat.

Whilst I enjoyed the Sail Croatia cruise, it was disappointing in a lot of ways and I definitely wouldn't do it again. The crew and boat/activities manager were fantastic. They were super friendly and helpful. Shout out to Ivana who was amazing! The food served on board was average for I would have expected for what we paid. The boat lacked atmosphere in the sense that they dont play music, which in Croatia I read that music is a big part of their culture so I expected to have the ambience of soft Croatian music playing whilst on the boat, towards the end they started to play some after getting the hint. I am disappointed that Hvar is listed on the website that it has an "incredible nightlife". The island has since changed but should not continue to be faulsely advertised by SailCroatia. I also find it offensive to be expected to give tips after dropping $6,000 aud on a cruise, Sail Croatia you should pay your excellent staff a proper wage and not expect tourist's to do it for you.

We had a great experience with Sail Croatia and would absolutely recommend to our friends and family! Ivana, our tour manager, was so helpful during our cruise! She offered great advice, answered all our questions and gave a great overview each day of what we could expect. I really appreciated all of the communication throughout our cruise week. The crew on the Tempera was great as well! Our lunches on board were fantastic as well. We were definitely well fed by the chefs.

Best way to see and experience Croatia with The Sail Croatia team.From the informative online booking till the actual trip. Tempera was our boat chose with amazing helpfull staff on board. The rooms are very well planned and the bathrooms excellent taking into account the size of the actual boat. The itinerary was fantastic ! Saw so much of the smaller and bigger islands . Our tour guide Ivana Mateja was an absolute gem. She presented everyday a full powerpoint presentation of the daily schedule as well as being very informative about every stop we had. Nothing was too much trouble for her . The food on board exceeded our expectations everyday . Only negative would be the price of drinks . I would recommend this trip and team to anybody considering visiting Croatia

Die Crew war super und die täglichen Schwimmstops einfach wundervoll. Die kleinen Hafenstädte so wunderschön. Eine wirklich wunderbare Erfahrung. Es lohnt sich! Die Kabinen waren groß genug und auch eine Dusche und Toilette haben nicht gefehlt. Wann immer man Fragen hatte oder etwas brauchte konnte man sich an die Crew wenden. Es gibt viele Angebote, die man wahrnehmen kann, wenn man angelegt hat, man ist nixht verpflichtet. Alles kann, nichts muss. :) Die Natur und Schönheit des Wassers sind wirklich einzigartig. Ich hätte gerne noch eine Woche dran gehangen ... ;) Danke an Ceasar, Kristina, Barbara, Josep und seine Crew und die Mitfahrer für diese Erfahrung!!!

Ivana our Tour Manager / Guide gave us very informative information about each port prior to our stopover . It was always honest and helpful. She was accommodating for any extra assistance and was delightful to have as our host . The chefs provided amazing food every day, 3 courses for lunch and dinner ( Captains dinner evening 4!) Staff on board were there ready to help with a happy and polite demeanour. I would definitely recommend Sail Croatia to my family and friends for a memorable experience of some beautiful islands to explore and experience.🇭🇷❣️

We did so much research on the company, vessel and cruise as we had never done one of these before and honestly we had the trip of a lifetime. Salve di Mare was such a great boat and the explorer cruise had a really great mix of people and good split of relaxing/activities. We just returned from the most incredible week sailing the Croatian islands with Sail Croatia, and I can't recommend it enough! Every stop was breathtaking, and waking up on the water every morning felt like a dream! The yacht was spotless and comfortable, and you could tell everything was run with care and professionalism. What truly made this trip exceptional, though, was the crew. Our captain was skilled and steady at sea and the crew worked around the clock to make sure we were safe, well-fed, and always smiling. Their positive energy was contagious and made our entire experience. A massive thank you to our Sail Croatia rep, Vicko—he was the heartbeat of the trip. Always checking in, organizing fun outings, and bringing good vibes wherever he went. Had amazing trip on the Salve di Mare from Dubrovnik to Split. The boat is beautiful, comfortable rooms, lovely dining lounge along with a fantastic top deck perfect for taking in the views. The crew was delightful and accommodating, making our week enjoyable. Our representative, Vicko, was exceptional—very knowledgeable, fun to be around, always ready with honest recommendations. Met some great people along the way, Croatians are very friendly and genuine people. Wouldn’t hesitate to do this trip again. I absolutely loved the experience!

We have just returned from a fabulous week sailing the coastline of Croatia! The scenery was beautiful, the activities were thoughtful and well-planned, the crew were exceptional and the food was delicious. The Salve di mare is a gorgeous boat and is meticulously cared for by its crew. From the moment we met Vicko, we knew we were in good hands. My husband and I had a fantastic time on our 7-day cruise! Absolutely would recommend. Vicko was our Sail Croatia Rep and he was THE BEST - super friendly with great recommendations for excursions, restaurants, and a ton of knowledge about Croatia. This truly felt like a vacation because we didn’t have to worry about anything. We were on the Salve di Mare boat and the crew on the boat was top notch. Marko, Vlaho, and Monika in particular were so personable and friendly. They made our stay on the boat comfortable and fun. Also worth noting that I always felt safe on the boat (even when we had windy conditions our captain, Frane, docked the boat with ease).

Where do I start?? From the meticulously clean boat to the abundance of tasty healthy food to the awesome staff who couldn't do enough & went out of their way to help to our tour guide Nicos! And we haven't even mentioned the beautiful Croatian islands that we stopped at all bursting with centuries of history & hidden restaurants & wine bars. If it hadn't been for Nicos we would never have found some of these gorgeous places. A special mention goes out to crew member Max who apart from serving our meals & keeping us well hydrated, he so kept us entertained. I was not sure about going on a cruise with 30 total strangers but it was one of the best weeks & one I will not easily forget.

Everything about this trip was incredible. Croatia is a beautiful country and traveling on Sail Croatia gave us the opportunity to see so much of it, including small islands that wouldn't be easy to reach. Our tour manager, Anita, and the crew of the Almissa were all wonderful. Fellow passengers were easy to get along with and you could choose to spend as much or as little time as you wanted with others. Highly recommend!

This was the trip of a lifetime! Sail Croatia was easy to work with, the crew on board was fantastic, friendly, helpful, informative. The food onboard was very good. Loved the pace, having downtime in the mornings, no rushing into the day! The swim stops were gorgeous even through the water was cold! Our “cruise director” Vicko was top-notch! He knew so much about Croatia and its history. There wasn’t a question he didn’t know the answer to and he was excellent at keeping us informed of the itinerary and any changes to it. He was quick to make adjustments as needed due to weather or other circumstances. Highly recommend a trip with Sail Croatia!

My friend and I sailed on the Almissa from Split to Dubrovnik and had the best time. Our travel representative, Vicko, and the crew of the boat, made the whole experience unforgettable. The food was amazing and the bar staff so much fun. The excursions were great and Vicko made sure we were well informed of where we were going and all the options we had on each island. Vicko always went above and beyond for everyone to make sure everything went smoothly. Croatia is beautiful and sailing it with Sail Croatia has got to be one of the best ways to see it.

The chefs were extraordinary and all the meals were terrific and my weigh scale at home tells me so! If I had one complaint…..maybe some replacement of the duvets and bed pillows.

We originally considered using ferry service to see the Croatian islands, but ultimately chose Sail Croatia because it covered all the islands we wanted to see and made it so easy! We were happily surprised by how delicious the food was on board, and felt that we had the perfect amount of time in each location. The accommodations were also perfect for us. Would recommend and travel again ourselves! Vicko and the whole crew gave us a great experience.

Dino our tour guide always has a positive attitude and was honest. He has this great ability to make all the different guests all come together to ensure everyone had an enjoyable time. His knowledge of the different locations and Croatia in general is outstanding. Nothing was to difficult for Dino to sort out. The entire crew on the Tempera are beyond words. From the chefs accommodating everyone's requests and producing luxury food at every meal and bar staff Max & Milan always ensuring our drinks were full and smiles on our faces, to the deck hands making sure everyone had everything they need and arranging the logistics everyday of getting us where we needed to go. The entire staff of the Tempera are exceptional and most certainly made the trip what it was. Peter and his entire staff are outstanding, their friendly nature and willingness to always help with anything that we needed was beyond words. I highly reccommend Sail Croatia on the Tempera. Best part of our entire holiday.

I was looking for a trip with a combination of relax and adventure and the Sail Croatia Explorer itinerary delivered it. You get into a routine of breakfast, swim stop, lunch then explore the island. Our rep did a wonderful job of explaining each island coming up and possible excursions. I liked how we didn’t have to commit to excursions before the trip. We could play it by ear day by day. He pointed out key points of interests and made great recommendations of places to eat. The only feedback I would give for the cabin is to install an exhaust fan in the bathroom. The shower makes the room steamy and since we were on the lower deck, we couldn’t open the porthole. The AC unit was turned off at night and without the flow of air, towels and bathing suits did not dry quickly. I would also make sure guests aware to bring more cash than they think they need. Excursions, bar tab and tips are all paid in cash.

We enjoyed our Split to Dubrovnik cruise; a great itinerary with lovely ports of call. The crew on board were exceptional - Max and Milan especially were so friendly and attentive - they really made us feel welcome. The cruise director, Dino, worked hard to help us with port stops and excursions. Overall, a great trip but there are definitely a few things that could be done to improve the experience: for instance, tea and coffee should be available throughout the day - we had to pay 3.50 euros for each cup of tea, and the trip excursions were very expensive eg we paid 60 euros each for the Vis tour which had 8 of us crammed into a closed landrover and those in the back unable to see anything out of the window or hear anything the driver said. The food on board ship was very carbohydrate heavy - very few veggies eg menu on day 2 was: starter = pasta, main course = rice and bit of meat, dessert = semolina type pudding. I was craving some fruit and veg! Overall a good experience though.

The views from the ship and cabin were incredible as were the crew and people aboard!!! We sailed during the day for a few hours at a slow pace allowing us to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. At night, we were able to explore each of the ports on our own or join in group dinners or activities. It was the perfect mix. Can't wait to go on next cruise with Sail Croatia.

We had a great experience with Sail Croatia on the Explorer Cruise on the Tempera. The crew was amazing and went above and beyond!! Dino was very organized, and his communication and suggestions for local restaurants and highlights were very helpful. Max and Milan were so personable and were always willing to help. Frankie, the captain, was great as well as the cook and kitchen support, who were also great about offering gluten-free options. And the crew, Peter and Thomas, were wonderful as well! Overall, a great experience and memories were made that will last a lifetime :) We would highly recommend this experience.

The 10 day cruise was good . Cons: I did find it quite repetitive. For me personally, I have learned a 3-5 day (maximum) sail would suit me it was the same pattern every day & I found some days we got into port too late to explore more. It seemed the emphasis was on the swim stops., another Con was the food . Breakfast was fine . There were no options for lunch . It was a 3 course meal served at 1 pm which made for very late suppers on shore . I wish they would have had 2 options ie chicken or pasta . I don’t eat pasta so was starving 2 of the days . Pros: the staff are fantastic . Considering they work 7 days a week & then repeat with the next tour they were very helpful , upbeat & enjoyable . The tour coordinator Klara was terrific , positive , informed & very helpful . The boat was in excellent condition and clean . I felt very safe on it . The life jackets & muster areas were reviewed however I was never sure if there was an AED on board , which would be Important .

Our trip with Sail Croatia was nothing short of spectacular. From breathtaking scenery to unforgettable swims in crystal-clear waters, the entire journey was filled with adventure, good vibes, and new friendships. A huge part of what made our experience so incredible was Klara, who led our island tours and adventures with infectious energy. Charismatic, charming, and full of local knowledge, Klara brought each destination to life. Her passion for the islands and her ability to engage and energize the group was unmatched – we felt lucky to have her guiding us. That said, a note to future travellers: know what kind of trip you're booking. This style of sailing trip brings together people from all walks of life, and it's important to understand that you're joining a shared space on board. Some passengers seemed surprised by the format, but that's not on the crew – it's about reading the itinerary and knowing what kind of experience you're signing up for.

We had the best experience on Sail Croatia Tempera. The ports, the food, the swim stops were all great. Our cruise director Dino was fabulous. He gave us so much information, selected some great restaurants and kept us up to date in the group chat. Max and Milan were the best server and bartender. The crew became our new friends by the end of the week, we hated saying goodbye.
