Our trip from Split to Dubronik on the Contessa was magical. The swim stops and scenery were beautiful. Access to the swim floaties and paddle boards was a wonderful addition. The boat was recently renovated and fresh. The cabin was quiet and had an ensuite, and there was adequate storage. Staff was friendly, and Hannah had answers to our daily questions. At times, the food on board was a bit too hearty for me otherwise, the breakfasts and lunches were nice.

We had such an amazing holiday . It was a real adventure, yoga , swim stops every day, biking in the most beautiful surroundings and hiking. Lots of other available activities too if you wanted. We visited some gorgeous places, it was so much fun! The crew were very friendly and helpful and Dora was the best you could ask for on a trip like that , she organised so much and really made the trip special. Her sunrise yoga was a perfect way to start the day . I would highly recommend. Also the food is delicious! 😊 ❤️

We had a wonderful week on the Sal de Mare ship, the crew outstanding, The guys behind the bar so friendly and helpful especially as I needed ice packs for a sprained ankle, Richard one of the crew and in charge of our swim stops a fantastic asset to you, the staff in the kitchen amazing and last but not least the lady who cleaned our rooms and did all of the endless washing, is a star. The captain and Vicko our guide were the absolute best in the business. I also have to say the ship was spotless, so clean and so organised. I hope I haven’t forgotten anyone as every member of the crew were faultless. The highlight each day are the swim stops at the prettiest of locations where the water is crystal clear and calm. The meals on board were fantastic and varied catering for everyone. Lastly the captains dinner was such fun, even if we were very loud we all had so much fun. Thank-you Sail Croatia I hope to be back and will definitely be recommending you to my friends and family

We are well-seasoned European travellers & this was our favourite trip so far. The staff made the trip for us, Marin would give us a history of the area and make suggestions as to where to go and things not worth exploring. He would also make any reservations necessary. Joanna & Neno made incredible drinks behind the bar - The Contessa and Pina Colado were my favourites! Teno and Charlie were the sailors on board and made sure everyone was safe and the boat was secure - also, incredibly friendly and helpful. Joy was pure joy - always accomodating when cleaning our room. The chefs were absolutely fantastic, I have never been to a country where I did not have one bad meal! The food on the boat was incredible. The boat itself was fantastic, rooms were roomy, bathroom was spotless and all the public spaces were spacious enough to get away if you wanted to be alone. Overall, this was the best travel experience I have ever had and would highly recommend Sail Croatia.

We had a great time on our yoga cruise. The entire crew on the Almissa were hard working & fantastic. We found Croatians in general so friendly & accommodating. We felt safe @ all our travel stops. Our activities director - Dora had our days well planned with a fantastic balance of activities & beautiful swim spots. To see Croatia on a boat is a dream! We met the nicest & fun people on our cruise- a real mix of ages & from all over the world. The food was good. There was always a great selection @ buffet breakfast - something for everyone. Lunch was plated & the portions were large! I would definitely recommend this trip!

Our week on the Contessa walking around the Croatia islands was pure magic. So many things to love about it from the size of the boat, the variety of the stops and some nice simple excursions at each one not too expensive, the active days swimming and then beautiful lunches on board before exploring a different island and loved dining on shore each night. Our tour guide Hana was just wonderful and made our trip easy with daily advise, history and support with so many links and always there for anything we needed. Food was lovely and cabins a great size too. Can’t fault it, will go down as one of our best holidays

Great. Was better than expected. So lovely to be with only a small group of 36 passengers to travel around on a refurbished, relaxing boat. Great having a different swim stop every day that you can dive off at the back of the boat. Also importantly exploring a new town/ island everyday and getting the opportunity to experience it in daylight and night time. So convenient having the boat moored so close to these historic scenic towns. Crew were fabulous, very attentive and in a way often invisible (I say that in a positive way in that they were very discrete and quiet in doing their duties). Hana our Tour Guide was excellent in her talks giving enough history and culture and practical tips. Her timing of talks and explanations of things to do and practical tips was spot on. She was always very attentive checking in with everyone and handling minor misunderstandings or hiccups (often to do with outside operator). We sailed the 7 day sail croatia on the Contessa. Had a great time, swim stops were a favourite and towns we stopped at were all stunning. Shout out to Hana our tour guide, Nelo our bartender , cleaner and our 2 sailor's and all the staff on the boat were so lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Everything was spotless. We had an amazing week cruising the islands of Croatia with Sail Croatia on the MS Contessa. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where it was easy to make new friends. My husband and I, and some friends cruised Split to Dubrovnik on Salve di Mare in Sep '26. We enjoyed it very much. The ship was beautiful. Our room was very comfortable. Our package included breakfast and lunch. The food was faultless! Both meals were excellent Breakfast consisted of hot and cold choices and was tasty,fresh and plentiful. Our three course lunch was impressive to say the least - restaurant worthy, tasty, fresh and varied. Hats off to the chef - he did an amazing job! Equally impressive was the bar staff - Marco and Vlaho! They knew every single name in the first hour ! And, they knew all of our preferred drinks by dinner! No request was too hard, or a bother for them. They were warm, welcoming and always smiling. Cheers to both of them Our cruise director Vicko was knowledgable and always willing to help. I would definitely recommend this to anyone considering this cruise.

Our Sail Croatia honeymoon was absolutely incredible! Our boat, the Contessa, was beautiful and very comfortable, the itinerary was amazing, and every destination was unforgettable. Croatia itself is absolutely stunning but what really made the trip was the crew. We got to know everyone throughout the week & they genuinely made the whole experience the best it could have been. Marin was the best. Always so happy, helpful & willing to go above & beyond for everyone. I especially loved his “me time”. Kristijana was amazing. Everything seemed to run so smoothly & you could tell how much work she was doing behind the scenes. Neno & Jovana were so canny. Beautiful trip thru the islands of Croatia starting in Dubrovnik and ending in Split. Our cruise director, Anita was so kind and amazing! She always answered questions, explained the local culture, and set up side trips for us. The boat was comfortable with daily cleaning and I was thankful for the A/C! The swim stops were so incredibly beautiful that I have renamed my home WiFi to “swimstop” to honor them. Blue and clear every day! I can’t say enough good things about our trip, from the Captain to the Crew and most importantly, the Cruise Director, Anita. We had the most amazing experience and felt very well taken care of. The ship was always spotless and watching the Captain cruise into port and dock the yacht was a sight to see. The Crew worked so hard in assisting, making every detail seem effortless. The Chef always had a delicious 3-course lunch that was always a delight and left us satisfied all day. Anita was incredible and well organized. All adventures were well organized and detailed and made each day even more enjoyable. Anything we needed, we could count on Anita to direct us and make our experience even better than expected. This was a first for us and friends with Sail Croatia. Traveling on a smaller ship was amazing and the Kraljica Jelena was wonderful, made possible by the Captain and crew who diligently took care of the ship daily - cleanliness was on point. Also what made this adventure so amazing was the coordination of events, communication, and awesome attitude and humor of our crew coordinator, Anita Condic. She is an excellent representative of Sail Croatia and made everyone feel at home away from home. We loved our excursions and swim stops and enjoyed her sharing Croatia with us! I can’t speak highly enough about this experience I had on Almissa with sail Croatia. It was so enjoyable and comfortable that the boat genuinely started to feel like home. From the people we met, to the destinations we sailed to, and the experiences we got to have, it made leaving on our last day very difficult. The entire staff on the boat, especially, were so dedicated to making our time the best it possibly could be that everything blew me away. 10000/10 staff. I don’t think I could recommend visiting this beautiful country any other way than by sail. I will be back on the almissa in the future.

Everyone was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to making sure guests had a good time. Their professionalism and positive attitude were definitely the highlight of the trip. That said, the cleanliness of the boat could use some improvement. While it didn’t ruin our experience, some areas felt like they could have benefited from a more thorough cleaning and a little more attention to upkeep. Excursions and swim stop locations were amazing. Truly once and a lifetime views. Food was delicious as well.

My week on the Sail Croatia Explorer Cruise aboard the Contessa with my friend was truly unforgettable. From the planning and excursions to the beautiful islands and amazing food, everything was so well done. But what really made the trip special was the people. The crew created such a fun, welcoming environment that a boat full of strangers quickly felt like a group of friends and family. Huge thank you to Marin, Ivana, Neno, Joy, Charlie, Tino, Kristijana, Captain Slavko, Bane and Marko for making the week so memorable — and for keeping us very well fed and informed! I met some incredible people along the way, and by the end of the week, saying goodbye was genuinely hard. That says everything about the kind of experience Sail Croatia creates. I’m already talking about doing it again and bringing more friends and family next time. I cannot speak more highly of Sail Croatia and the service they provided. We sailed the Contessa on the Explorer and it truly felt like you were on a yacht. Our tour guide, Marin, was absolutely the best. Not only did he always have good and honest recommendations, he made sure to accommodate your every need and request. Day of reservations? No problem, Marin took care of it. The food served was excellent, I left lunch everyday not able to finish all that they served. Our bartenders were also top tier. They truly mixed better cocktails than what we would have on land, shout out to Neno! A truly professional crew from the sailors to the housekeeper. I did not want to leave at the end of the week and wish i could have sailed with the crew for another week! Thank you Marin and all of the crew who curated the perfect experience!

We had such a great week with Sail Croatia and couldn’t have asked for a better crew. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and welcoming, and they really made the trip special. Especially Marin our Sail Croatia guide. He was a brilliant tour guide, friendly, honest and great fun. He kept us up to date each day and gave us great tips on what to see, do and avoid. Bane and Marko’s food was fantastic — every meal was delicious, beautifully presented and there was always plenty of it! Ivana and Neno were always great behind the bar and made some fantastic cocktails, while Joy kept our cabin spotless. The whole boat was incredibly clean. A big thank you to Captain Slavko, Charlie, Tino and Kristiano for keeping everything running so smoothly and getting us safely around Croatia. We also loved the spa pool — perfect after a day exploring! All in all, we had a fantastic time and the crew really made the experience. We’d definitely recommend Sail Croatia and would happily do it all again!

I began this trip thinking it would be a ONCE-in-a-lifetime trip. It was so fabulous I would do it every year if budget allowed! The yacht was spacious and well-appointed. Our guide, Hana, was OUTSTANDING. Cannnot say enough good things about her concierge-type service, her kindness, and her stellar approach to guiding 31 guests through mulitple excursions, all with a smile. The chefs consistently put out 5 star meals, and our servers were attentive to every need. And the Croatian coast/islands are a beautiful ocean gem - other island vacation destinations pale in comparison. All put together, the result was memories that will last a lifetime.

This cruise was more than we could ever hoped for! Our room (Above Deck) was spacious and very comfortable. The dining room, lounge area and sundecks never felt crowded. The ship overall is very clean and well-maintained. The itinerary was well-balanced between active and relaxed (we leaned mostly on the latter side). We visited islands that had distinct vibes and characters. Kudos to Hana, our Tour Director, who was very thorough in providing us guidance and directions as we go exploring the islands. But our most favorite thing about the cruise was hands-down the daily swim stops. The captain took us to areas with the clearest and bluest waters. Richie made sure all our swim toys are ready to go, so we could all have maximum enjoyment in the water. The plentiful breakfasts and 3-course lunches were also quite the treat! Service was all-around warm and efficient. A huge THANK YOU to all the wonderful members of the staff for giving us such an amazing experience!

This was an incredibly memorable trip. The crew was excellent, helpful, hard working, and went above and beyond. Our tour guide Sanja did an excellent job of making this an amazing experience. She did such a good job of keeping everyone informed and organized. I did not expect the quality of the food to be so good! The chefs and bartenders do a great job of putting out delicious, well timed meals. The schedule is so well put together and balanced. Beautiful swim stops every day, plenty of time on the islands, and smooth sailing. Our cabin had more room than expected. Clean, cool, and enough space for my husband and I. Only complaint is the excursions. We enjoyed the wine tasting. But did not enjoy the bike ride, even though we were excited about it. Long walk uphill, not desirable swimming. Also didn’t enjoy the Dubrovnik walking tour. Didn’t understand our guide and the content was often irrelevant. That being said we’d do the trip 100 times again and would recommend Sail Croatia

Enjoyed every moment of our sail croatia cruise. From the moment we got on the boat we were greeted warmly and treated like royalty. Our cruise director Hana from Salve de mare went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of our trip was enjoyable. The staff were very attentive and friendly to all our needs. We had the most amazing 7-day cruise from Dubrovnik to Split for our honeymoon and absolutely loved the whole experience. The ship was beautiful and had recently been refurbished, so everything felt fresh, modern and very comfortable. Our accommodation was lovely, the food throughout the cruise was excellent, and all of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. One of our favourite parts of the trip was the itinerary and the regular swim stops. The places we visited were beautiful and there was a really nice balance between cruising, swimming, relaxing and getting off to explore. We did have to make one or two changes to the planned stops due to conditions, but this was handled extremely well by the captain. The alternative arrangements were well thought out and we never felt that we were missing out on anything. We were on board Almissa and apart from the amazing itinerary and coastline we travelled I found Hana from Sail Croatia friendly, informative and extremely helpful. She was a bubble of joy. To the hard working sailors (deck hands, multi taskers) whose names I just can’t place thank you. The boat was handled beautifully and kept sparkling by you two. To the chefs… the food was lovely and I’ve definitely put on a couple of kegs haha. Caesar and Kafka you made the trip something to treasure… your friendliness and charm made us feel like family. We recently boarded the Tempera Cruise from Split to Dubrovnik, and we had such a fantastic experience! Our sail team was incredibly helpful and made us feel so well looked after throughout the trip. Our host, Andro, was honestly the best. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all the islands we visited, and we really appreciated his honesty and recommendations about which excursions were actually worth doing. The only thing we wish had been included on our trip was the rafting experience! The crew did a fantastic job of making sure we had plenty of time at the best swimming spots, and they even adjusted our ports to minimise travel time on days when they felt we needed more time to explore the islands. We also loved the people we met along the way. Our cruise had a great mix of younger and older couples, and everyone got along so well, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you to the entire Tempera Cruise team for an amazing trip and so many great memories!

From the moment we walked onto Almissa our expectations were exceeded. The boat was clean and our room was spacious. It was evident early on that the crew was just fantastic. Hana greeted us and made sure from the get go that we had everything we needed or wanted. She was available for reservations, questions, and did a great job filling us in on each destination and providing restaurant and site seeing recommendations. She truly went above and beyond. Not to mention she's just a wonderful person who clearly loves what she does. Kafka and Cesar made sure everyone had a great time. They would be up late chatting and sharing stories with guests and then up early each morning with a smile on their faces. The food was fantastic throughout. We were nervous that things would be bland or generic but they were anything but. Every part of this trip was fantastic, we would highly recommend.

The cruise was fantastic. Our tour manager Hana was very knowledgebale on the local areas, had great suggestions for bars, restaurants and what to do at each stop. She was always available to answer any questions we had. The food was also amazing! The flavours and range we had during breakfast and lunch was incredible! The bar boys, captain and deck crew were great - always up for a laugh!

Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast is absolutely beautiful, but sailing with the Sail Croatia ship and crew made the experience truly unforgettable. My partner and I were looking for a fun and stress-free vacation—and that’s exactly what we got. It was such a gift to wake up to sun and clear blue waters for seven mornings in a row and be greeted each day by the most warm and hospitable team, including our wonderful servers, and delicious food. Our Guide, Hana, also made the entire experience feel effortless. Her guidance, support, and genuine care made such a difference; from sharing the background of each island we visited, to organizing group happy hours and transportation, to recommending incredible places for dinner. She always seemed to have everything covered, which allowed us to simply relax and enjoy being there. The combination of Croatia’s incredible scenery, the wonderful people, and the ease of the experience made this a vacation we’ll never forget.

I have traveled the world and usually do active adventure traveling, like hiking or biking. This vacation allowed me to relax, make few decisions, eat well, and play in the water and on land. I loved the paddle boards and floaties! The staff was amazing! The Contessa is a beautiful vessel! And all the locations were stunning! The only recommendations I have are to provide correct information: I was told I didn’t need to bring a beach towel and that additional bath gel would be helpful.

Sail Croatia was beyond amazing!! Klara, our cruise director was THE best!! She was knowledgeable, professional, helpful, and fun! We loved the smaller boat! The amount of people on the cruise allowed us to feel that things were tailored to us! We loved the morning swim stops. The excursions were fun and reasonably priced! Breakfast and lunch on board were delicious! The chef was accommodating to distract restrictions. I do not eat a ton of fish which was a popular dish. They were willing to cook other things when notified about the dietary preference before the sailing. The rooms were spacious and clean! If we needed anything the staff was quick to help and get us what we needed. Overall one is the best trips we have taken! If you are debating on booking Sail Croatia- DO IT!! You’ll be happy you did!!

Had a fantastic time onboard Almissa from Split to Dubrovnik even in the heatwave conditions! Loved having aircon in our room to escape the heat at times. Food was great, cabins & ensuite bigger than we’d imagined, swim spots all beautiful, crew amazing (skipper Joseph, Ante & Kafka in the bar & serving us, Hana our tour director, kitchen & sailing crew, all absolutely amazing people! We could relax as much as we wanted, snorkel, swim, float, paddleboard off the boat (not when docked) or sign up for many other activities (extra cost). Having to ‘walk’ through other boats when docked was even a fun experience! We enjoyed exploring the coastal towns of an afternoon / evening. If you’re considering this cruise stop ‘thinking about it’ & do it!

We had an amazing experience. The crew and Josko were great. The rooms were great spacious and clean. The boat was very clean and staff was attentive. Couple suggestions would be if there was a. Way to keep the breakfast hot as it was cold by the time we ate. Be nice to have. Coffee through out the day and it be available earlier. The plants on the tables were nice but to big. When paying our bar bill it was difficult as we never saw or get emailed a receipt to show the breakdown. That might be something we should get before leaving a printed one. The bar attendants were so fun. The lunches were amazing. Only meal was the veal that was not good. Swim stops were beautiful. And staff was great setting everything up for us.to enjoy the swim spots. Josko was great helping us find the best places to eat and answered other questions we had. If it was a full boat I don’t think the hot tub would have worked for 36 passengers. We were lucky to only have 16 on board. Thank you to all

This trip exceeded my expectations . The staff were great , friendly . Food was very good , I was expecting it to be basic. I’ve been on several cruises with celebrity so I do like decent food.Cabins were very clean and comfortable . Great shower. Loved waking up every morning to the scenery , saw dolphins several times , beautiful scenery and loved the various island stop offs . We were well informed on excursions available and places to visit when not on board .

We travelled on the Almissa with a total group of 22 people to celebrate a friend's 60th birthday. This was one of THE BEST TRIPS I have ever taken! We could not have been happier with the service, cleanliness of the ship, fun excursions, excellent food and drinks and exceptional crew! Captain Josip was the best! He sailed the Almissa perfectly, changing the order of our itinerary to best suit weather and wind conditions, giving us a perfect week of sun and beautiful weather. Our sailors Ivan and Capo took beautiful care of the ship, working tirelessly behind the scenes. Chefs Marko and Bogden prepared delicious meals with very large potions and beautiful presentation. Bartenders Kafka and Cezar prepared wonderful drinks while interacting with all of us in a fun atmosphere. We loved Hana our cruise director, she was THE BEST! She lovingly took care of all of our needs, provided us with history, information on restaurants and places to see, and even made a reservation for 22 of us!

We (boyfriend and I) traveled on Salve Di Mare mid July from Dubrovnik to Split. We regularly take trips/vacations and this has by far been one of our favorite. Barbara was wonderful as was the rest of the crew, especially our bartenders. Mornings were very relaxed on the boat and lunch was incredible every day. Arrived at each destination around 1-2 PM which left plenty of time to explore in the afternoon. Would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a slower paced way to visit the coast of Croatia.

From the moment we arrived at the dock we were welcomed and our Vacation truly started. All bags were transported to our room. This was where we first met Hana, who took such good care of us throughout the trip. Hana introduced us to the Captain and Crew, and gave us all the information we needed to get the most our of our stay with Sail Croatia. From Hana's expert guidance throughout , to the Crew getting us situated for daily swim time and in and out of ports with ease and to the amazing drinks and meals prepared for us on the boat, we could not have been more pleased. We had a wonderful time on the Contessa, Niko and the staff were wonderful. Decor was top level. The boat wasn’t full but we had a great group that had a great time together. We did ask to change rooms as it was very noisy when the boat was running.

I can't say enough about Sail Croatia and this amazing seven day trip from Split to Dubrovnik. It was so well organized, and all of the stops were beautiful and perfectly curated. It was the perfect blend of fun and adventure, with a great group of people. Highlights were the swim stop every day and of course, all of the beautiful Dalmatian islands with the Port towns and activities. The ship (Salve di Mare) and the accommodations were also fabulous. The rooms were spacious and each had their own bathroom. The meals were wonderful. The crew was so friendly and helpful and Our tour guide , with Sail Croatia (Vin) took great care of us. I couldn't think of a better way to see the Dalmatian coast than doing it this way!!!

My husband and I had a blast on the trip. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure! We were easily able to pick when we wanted to sightsee, participate in more adventurous activities, or have a chill beach day. The boat exceeded our expectations; our room was very comfortable and the food was delicious. The waters and scenery of Croatia were stunning; the swim stops were some of the best parts of our trip. I was worried about getting on a boat with a shellfish allergy, but the kitchen staff was easily able to accommodate my allergy, as well as others on our trip (gluten free, pescatarian, etc). Additionally, our guide Vic was awesome; he was a wealth of knowledge about everything from the history and culture Croatia to where the best place to watch the World Cup would be. He presented many fun options of what to do on every island. It really felt like we had a private guide (who knew everyone) at every stop. If we could book to go again, tomorrow we would!

My husband and I and two good friends (another couple) spent a week on the Salve di Mare and it was magical. The beauty of the Dalmatian coast, the swimming off the boat, excellent food, and the excursions were perfect and unforgettable. The staff on the boat were also professional and so kind. They made everything go so smoothly and put everyone at ease. Sail Croatia was also fantastic—great communication and information armed us with clear expectations that somehow the Salve di Mare crew and beautiful Croatia vastly exceeded. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this trip on the Almissa. Perfect mix of cruising, swim stops and visits to beautiful islands. Staff were great, food was delicious and we had a great group of people onboard with us. Fun side trip options if you want them. Plenty of sunloungers upstairs for everyone. Only give it 4 stars as cabins are fairly basic but you don’t spend much time in there anyway - they were perfectly fine with plenty of room to store things. So good being able to unpack for a week and enjoy the cruise.

I traveled with my partner on the Salve Di Mare Explorer cruise and we could not have asked for a better experience! Such an amazing way to see the Croatian coastline with a variety of excursions available. Our crew and tour manager were so accommodating and personable! The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. I could not recommend Sail Croatia enough!

From the start the crew were extremely welcoming and helpful. The boat was immaculate and stylish, the cabin was spacious and comfortable. We were not disturbed by noise from the boat or other people. Nothing was too much trouble. The itinerary worked really well, there was enough down time to relax, sunbathe and swim. The excursions added a fun dynamic to the trip and were mostly fun and exciting. We did cycling, kayaking, wine tasting, zip lining (the best!!) plus plenty of time to explore the beautiful Croatian towns which I hadn’t expected to be so charming. There was plenty of choice of restaurants and bars and our crew gave us recommendations on where to eat , even making reservations for us. The food on board was delicious, make sure you advise about dietary restrictions at the time if booking so that they can plan ahead for you. We were extremely lucky that the people on board were fantastic. We all bonded really well which made the experience very special…… a cruise family!!

We sailed on the Contessa. The ship and crew were amazing. Our room was comfortable and more spacious than we had anticipated. The entire ship was spotless. The breakfast buffet always provided a nice variety of choices. The lunch menu changed each day and every meal was delicious. Tour manager Nickos gave us great information each day and worked hard to make sure all guests enjoyed each port. Bartenders Martin and Nino kept us well hydrated and were a lot of fun. We could not have asked for a better experience.

Great small boat experience with swimming stops, and small town adventures lead by a wonderful leader Klara. She was super helpful and guided us to lots of fun. Really liked eating out at restaurants almost every evening. Really liked the food onboard and especially appreciated getting Gluten Free food which I needed. The staff onboard was exceptional. Highly reccommend.

Sali Croatia on Almissa exceeded our expectations. All the crew were amazing. Caesar and Kafka kept us entertained in the bar. Captain was friendly. The chefs were outstanding.. My husband and I chose sail croatia to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We were welcomed warmly by Sanja our cruise director. From the minute we walked on board we felt like a family. The crew was so welcoming and the boat was beautiful. Sanja was most pleasant and attentive throughout the cruise. Vlad our chef for the week outdone himself. The food was outstanding. The bartenders were also so pleasant. Our group bonded like a family and spent multiple days and nights together. The pace of the cruise was perfect. The choice of islands and suggested activities were amazing. By the end of the week we were so sad to leave our sail Croatia family. What an amazing experience sailing around the beautiful islands of Croatia. Our trip started in Slpit & end ended in Dubrovnik. We stopped at 5 amazing islands along the way. The boat guide Andro was incredibly knowledgeable about each island’s history & what it had to offer and gave suggestions on activities and restaurants along the way. The crew were great however my only suggestion would be it lacked a female’s touch (all male crew) 😅. Eg room cleaning & also lack of salad at lunch time with massive serving of 3 course meal at lunch (the men very happy). I would highly recommend Sail Croatia it definitely exceeded our expectations.

Oh Croatia - what a BEAUTIFUL country you are!! We sailed on the Almissa from Dubrovnik to Split abd then took a bus back down to Dubrovnik for our return flight home. You really couldn’t have asked for more! Food was amazing, service was outstanding and the scenery was fairytale like!!!

We had an amazing experience with Sail Croatia, travelling on the Almissa, Hanna our guide was an absolute pleasure to have on board, all her information on our island stops was informative and her assistance with booking anything inland was a bonus. Especially her recommendations for walking and hiking trails. She really made our time on the boat stress free, The swim stops where beautiful. Croatia is so beautiful and this explorer cruise was well set up to help us experience it. Klara our host was a local who kept us well informed and made all our excursions work like clockwork. The crew was great and The Contessa was newly renovated. Great experience all round.

Sail Croatia was amazing. We were doing a bit of a Europe tour; Greece, Croatia and Italy. Croatia was the middle of our trip and the highlight. Doing Croatia through a sail tour meant we got to see so many places and didn't have to think about transport and accommodations at all. The crew was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. Also, the food was so good. We never wanted to leave.

Don’t even hesitate about booking this trip. We sailed on the Princess Dianna for 7 days with a crew that bent over backwards for us to make sure we had a good time. The food was amazing everyday. Mario was our main tour guide. Mario is extremely knowledgeable about the areas that we visited and just a great guy to hang out with. Our bartenders and wait staff-Teia and Danny- also took care of us getting us any and many drinks. Thank you to the entire staff for making this trip so memorable.

The Sail Croatia trip was great. Beautiful swim stops, interesting fellow travelers, and no shortage of food or drinks. Good value for money, and leaves you wanting more time in Croatia. A few things I would change: The amount of time spent in port towns. We were really only in a port during the late afternoons and at night, and it would have been really nice to have more daytime to explore the islands and towns. There's a lot of food waste on the boat. Every lunch had three courses, and they were huge and quite heavy. One or two courses, or the ability to opt in or out of certain courses, would reduce food waste. Also, the house wine on the boat was from two huge plastic jugs on the floor behind the bar. It was super sweet and undrinkable. It would have been nice to have the option for a glass of decent house wine, instead of having to purchase whole bottles.

We’ve just come back from our second sailing adventure around the stunning Croatian Islands on the Salve Di Mare, and it truly exceeded our expectations; everything was perfect. Spectacular week on board the Mali Ante Explorer cruise! Went on some excursions, skipped others, was never unhappy about where I ended up. Seemed impossible to make a bad choice between the pristine sea, the INCREDIBLE crew, and all the picturesque seafront towns my heart could desire! Not generally a big cruise person but this didn’t feel like that at all, aside from the convenience of not having to plan a single travel logistic ourselves. It all felt friendly and personal and like the perfect size group to make some friends, learn everyone’s name, but have plenty of opportunity for privacy too. Below deck room w/twins was perfect for two besties and actually much larger than I expected—just bring earplugs for the morning engine noise and you’ll do great. Again have to say a fabulous crew made it feel really special. Put it this way: if you like to like things you will find it easy to like this vacation! Highly recommend mid/late June for crisp water and perfect daytime temps.

We just returned from the Sail Croatia Explorer trip and cannot say enough about the incredible experience. The boat is new and the cabins were roomy. From the very first day, our cruise director Borna went above and beyond. He and the crew ensured every meal accommodated my gluten allergy. He shared fascinating local history and tips at every port we visited during our morning briefings. The excursions offered were fabulous and well coordinated. We had plenty of time to explore in every port. The highlight of our trip was celebrating our anniversary on one of the islands. Borna took the extra care to call ahead and arrange a romantic table with a breathtaking view of the sea, a gesture that made the evening truly unforgettable. The passengers from all over the world are now lifetime friends. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and we would recommend Sail Croatia to anyone, without hesitation. We are spoiled forever and could never take a big cruise ship again. Five stars, easily!

Another AMAZING week cruising through the Dalmatian islands. My husband, Bill, and I found Sail Croatia back in 2017 and did our first week in 2018. As Bill says “it’s the easy button.” A handful of years later we wanted to go again, so we booked a week on the Salve di Mare. Wow! Another incredible week some little details had even improved from the first time. We became friends with several other guests from the far reaches of the world, stayed in touch, and my Aussie friend, Kirstyn, and I schemed a return. 7 of us from the 2023 trip returned this year (more had planned to, but life got in the way). Klara was our guide in ‘23, and there was some concern that this year’s Sail Croatia rep might not live up to her, but Saša was up to the challenge. He was friendly, approachable, funny, and informative. It really felt like he cared about each of us. The whole crew of Salve di Mare (Captain, sailors, chefs, waiters, housekeeper… ) were professional, kind, and hardworking. ❤️Sail Croatia!

The seven night cruise in Croatia was an enjoyable experience. We saw different islands, daily swims and enjoyed the staff. The food was good and was typical Croatian food, lots of meat. If you are vegetarian they will accommodate you. If you like to float on a float during the swim stops bring your own floatation as there are limited choices.. Couple things I would change are the mattresses on the beds. They were very lumpy and hard on my body. I think more towels should be given to the passengers as they only do one exchange for the entire week.

It was me and my husband’s first cruise. We had a great experience that exceeded our expectations. The boat has a modern decoration, the room is spacious, comfortable and clean. The crew were very professional and friendly. Lola “the cruise director” organized all the excursions and gave us many tips about the best restaurants, bars, and even ATMs, she’s very professional and sweet. I highly recommend Contessa cruise, a 5 stars experience.

We booked the Explorer cruise aboard the Contessa with Sail Croatia expecting nothing more than a floating hotel and an efficient way to explore Croatia's islands. What we didn't expect was to love it so much! We chose the Contessa because of its recent retrofit. The ship felt brand new: modern, elegant, and relaxed. Our cabin was even larger than many cruise ship rooms, with a spacious walk-in shower. Having read so many bad reviews about some of the older vessels, we were thrilled with our choice, as the Contessa truly stood out. The food was consistently good. Our bartenders Martin and Nino quickly learned everyone's preferences and delivered incredible service with warmth, personality, and remarkable attention to detail. Anita, our Cruise Director, kept everything running seamlessly from start to finish. From daily itineraries and restaurant recommendations to helping guests make the most of each island, she never missed a beat. She knows how to create an unforgettable experience.

Amazing! Contessa boat is beautiful. Lower deck cabins are spacious and the ensuite bathrooms are gorgeous. Explorer cruise provided a great mix of activity, fun and relaxation. We enjoyed bike riding, zip lining and kayaking as well as relaxing in the roof top spa and drinking cocktails! Croatia did not disappoint and we couldn’t fault the Sail Croatia staff. Great friendships and memories formed. Highly recommend!

Loved every minute of our cruise. Ceili was our guide and she was wonderful. The food was delicious and the crew always helpful. We had an upper cabin and loved the huge windows...waking up ever morning to beautiful views. Made many special friendships and memories. Try to get pics of room prior to booking-I think we had the worst room on the boat. Room 2 on Tempera has a large intrusion in the room from the next door curved staircase requiring you to hunch over on far side of bed when getting in or out. That closet opens up ONTO the bed and is almost unuseable. The tiny curved table in the room slants down so things slide off of it. The bed was comfortable and the room size decent. The breakfast was good- sausage, eggs, fruit, pastries…. but I (and many other judging by appearances) found the lunches inedible. greasy rice stuffed pepper served with cold mashed potatoes, a bowl of buttered noidles served with a small thin slice of overcooked meat served with more noodles, Very carb heavy and mostly served warm not hot. Soups and desserts were good.

This trip is without a doubt the most relaxing Europe trip we’ve been on. The way Sail Croatia had this trip planned you really don’t worry about anything; food, activities and transportation. Just how much sun time you want to get. Marin, our guide on board, made every decision feel easy! The transparency and care was so evident in the way he did his job. He was always so helpful and fun to talk with. The crew on board Nieksha and Dom were energetic and made us feel well taken care of. My husband and I made so many friends on board, saying goodbye at the end of the week was difficult. It felt similar to when you leave summer camp as a kid. We hope to cross paths again with everyone some day. I would 100% recommend this experience to my friends and family. Oh and do the zip lining if you get the chance! It was breathtaking!

After doing much research my husband and I chose Sail Croatia and the lovely vessel Contessa. The boat is beautiful and cabins are very well appointed and comfortable. The crew was absolutely amazing, I can’t say enough about them. They are kind and beautiful people. Calum, Tino, Petra, Charlie, Nenad, Bane, Marko, Joy, Zeljana, and Captain Slavko were wonderful. Whatever excursion you were interested in, Calum would plan for you. He was always there to help you. He took us to fun and interesting wineries! This was definitely a trip I would recommend. Awesome. Calum the rep on the Tempera was very good. We had a good mix of passengers and the crew were very responsive. For the price we paid I couldnt ask for more.

Our week on the Almissa Explorer Cruise was amazing! From the crew, meals, swim spots and guests onboard, everything was perfect! The cabins were well equipped and very cute - we had an above deck one. Excursions were well planned and a lot of fun!

Our 7-day sailing trip through Croatia on the Almissa was honestly one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we stepped onboard, the entire crew made us feel welcome, relaxed, and completely taken care of. Our host Mava was an absolute gem! He made every single guest feel welcome and included. Whether you wanted to join the group activities or explore on your own, he made sure everyone had the perfect experience. The itinerary itself was fantastic, with a great mix of excursions, activities, and free time. You could spend the day adventuring with the group or simply wander through the beautiful towns at your own pace. It was the perfect balance of structure and flexibility. The food onboard was outstanding. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. The bartenders Cezar and Kafka also deserve a special mention because they were truly the life of the party and kept the energy fun and upbeat the entire trip. 10/10 amazing experience!!!

I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better trip. We had Mava as our cruise director and Caesar and Kafka as bartenders and it was the most fun and fabulous trip of my life. Everything was seamless, food was amazing, excursions were phenomenal. I would do this cruise every week of my life if I could. 10/10

We were made to feel like special guests the entire time. Marin the tour director, Marco and Vlaho who looked after food and bar service were all exceptional and we enjoyed their company and service. The crew members and Captain were all excellent. They looked after all the other details to make sure our time was special.

Returned from an Explorer cruise with Sail Croatia, on the Salve Di Mare which is a stunning, luxurious and incredibly comfortable vessel. The layout is exceptional with spacious cabins, sun decks, and jacuzzi. The ship is kept in immaculate condition from the cabins, swim platforms, dining salons, to the sun decks. The service from all staff is professional, friendly, and world class (special thanks to Marko, Vlaho). The onboard chefs, every meal a daily highlight. Our tour manager Marin, was an incredible host, all week going above and beyond for our group. His local knowledge made every excursion experience wonderful. Huge thank you to the entire crew, for their exceptional hospitality, we will definitely be back!

Everything was so well planned. Our representative Marin was extremely helpful. I loved the way he explained what was to transpire every day and how he repeated the info on WhatsApp. The rest of the staff including Marco & Vlaho were also excellent. I am vegetarian so a big shout out to the kitchen staff who make delicious meals for me. Overall, as 2 women travelling together, I always felt safe & well taken care of. I would highly recommend.

It was a great week! We traveled with two other couples. Boat was clean, our tour manager was amazing and the crew was pleasant and personable. The food was great some days and other just mediocre but you can’t please everyone right? The islands are beautiful and Vicko made sure we all knew what was coming ahead with activities and sites to see. The communication was on point with a group chat. All questions were answered. We would definitely do this again!

Croatia is a beautiful country with some amazing towns with incredible medieval fortresses and buildings. Cruising among the Dalmatian islands in the Adriatic Sea on Sail Croatia's Almissa ship was the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. The crew served delicious breakfasts and lunches. Caesar and Merico kept everyone well served and entertained. Dino, our tour guide, did a fantastic job and had great suggestions for places to go on our own. He was also a great source of information on the history and culture of Croatia. Our fellow travelers were great - a small cruise ship (28 people on our ship) is a great way to explore Croatia and meet so many great folks. Lots of fun!

We loved our cruise on the Almissa, we sailed from Dubrovnik to Split. We had a wonderful week, the crew the food & locations were amazing. We were so lucky to have Dino as our tour guide, he made our trip the best, he gave as so much information on where to eat, what to see, great swim stops, when the weather wasn’t great he organised alternatives which we much appreciated. We had the time of our lives, we loved Croatia!!

I absolutely loved this trip! We did the Explorer Split Return on the Almissa. I'm an avid cruiser, but now I'm spoiled and hooked on small ship cruises! It was so nice to have swim stops each day and get to swim right off the bow of the boat in a beautiful cove! Since we overnighted in each port, we were able to enjoy our time there without worrying about getting back to the boat on time! We were docked in the harbor at each port and walking distance to dining, shops, and activities. Food was great and service was excellent. Our cruise director Vin was so friendly and helpful, giving us great tips and advice for each port. My bed was very comfortable and room was clean with good AC! I had an above deck cabin, so I was able to open my window for fresh air, which was very nice since it wasn't very hot during our end of Sept sailing. I would definitely recommend this company and would not hesitate to book another cruise with them if I have the opportunity to return to Croatia!

Perfect mix of relaxation and adventure, your choice! With breakfast and lunch (3 course) included every day and a swim stop in between (my fave part) the afternoon and evening were yours to explore the next town/island. You could choose one of the organised excursions or do your own thing. Nothing was too much trouble, the crew were the best and our tour manager Klara was the bomb!! Thank you Salve di Mare! We miss you already

After extensive research by both my husband and myself, we joined the Sail Croatia, Salve de Mare cruise this past September. Looking for a smaller cruising footprint with excursions was our goal and Sail Croatia did not disappoint. From the date of our embarking to our final day with our new international friends and a wonderful crew, our adventure was just that... a true adventure! We would definitely recommend Sail Croatia to our friends, co-workers and family members! Adventure awaits with Sail Croatia!
