We travelled on the Princess Diana from Dubrovnik to Split. From the start, the guides ( Marin and Ivan) greeted us warmly and were very friendly throughout the trip. Marin was excellent at organising the rides and explaining the history of the particular island. By the end of the trip we felt that we had a real understanding of Croatian history in these islands. Ivan was great in encouraging us on the rides and doing a lot of the organisational work behind the scenes. They made a great team. Outside of the cycling, we had most interaction with the two waiters/barmen ( Ivan and Karlo) who worked so hard - especially at meal times - and stayed up late to serve us drinks after we came back from dinner. Special mention also to Marko and Maria for our “plentiful” meals everyday - prepared in that tiny kitchen. We didn’t have much interaction with the other crew members although they were super efficient at docking and getting the bikes off the ship. A great team throughout.

The staff and crew on the Mali Anti are wonderful. Attention to detail fantastic. Rooms spotless and surprisingly spacious and very comfortable beds. Risk assessments and daily briefing are first class. Food was varied and delicious. The cycling was superb with amazing routes to gorgeous Croatian villages. But the hills were long! When they say 4/5 difficult they mean it! Electric bikes looked a tempting option. But very pleased to still achievable the 100 miles on my classic bike.

It's just such good fun. It's a beautiful place and we were lucky to have great weather and even luckier to have great company. The food was a minor miracle, our cook provided such delicious meals day after day. Our two guides were great and the ships crew looked after us really well. And by the way the cycling was the icing on the cake.

We had a fabulous time on our week with Sail Croatia. The cycling was as challenging as you wanted to make it. Well organized. You see the most spectacular views on the rides. Small town coffee stops. Excellent food on board - we always looked forward to our meals! Crew were friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!

The week was great fun. The organisation was smooth and the trip leaders were knowledgeable and always on hand to answer questions.. The islands were amazing and the swimming was fabulous. We had e-bikes which made the steep hills very manageable. The ships crew were great and we felt in safe hands with the Captain sailing the boat. All in all a great experience and would definitely recommend it.

Every member of the staff was great! The 2 guides, Marin & Ivan did an awesome job of leading our bike trips on each island. Marin told us the history of Croatia and each island. Ivan entertained us with his humor! They both were very professional and safety conscious. Finally, the islands were so beautiful while biking through the country side. I road an e-bike and I’m so glad I did.

We had a great week cycling round Croatia’s islands. Tour guides Ivica and Anita were superb. Ships crew were all great. Itinerary was excellent, cycling in the morning, navigating to a new island in the afternoon then exploring new ports. Bikes were fine, better than expected. Cabins and food on board were ok, although understandably not luxurious. Recommend getting e-bikes because Croatia is hilly.

Everything was very well organised.The boat crew were friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The tour guides Ivica and Anita were fantastic. Ivica went out of his way to give us better and more bike riding experiences while ensuring we were safe from strong winds etc by changing the itinerary to suit. Anita was very knowledgeable about local sites. All the crew were very cohesive and jolly, the food was great and plentiful and we had a wonderful experience. Their love for their job and their beautiful country shines through. We'll be back !

The guides and crew on our trip made for a perfect week on Emanuel. Tonka and Lucy were wonderful guides. Very informative at each daily briefing, and then throughout the rides they made sure everyone always knew what was ahead. The routes chosen were fun with gorgeous scenery. Our food in the ship was very good. Service was great. All in all fabulous week in the Croatian islands.

My husband and I did the Bike and Boat Southern Route May 1-11, 2025. I can't say enough good things about this trip, from the crew; the outstanding organization of the biking from storing the bikes, fitting the bikes, loading and unloading the bikes (wait until you see how they do it!); and most of all, the rides (even coming down from one summit in the pouring rain). Our guides, Miranda and Lucija, were outstanding. Personable, patient, knowledgeable, strong riders. Great food as well. Cabins were simple but quite serviceable. And Croatia! What a gorgeous, fascinating country. Take any bike and boat tour with Sail Croatia and you won't be disappointed.

Our two bike guides were the best! Each day the trips were challenging but fun! Having an e bike made the uphill climbs manageable. Touring a different island each day and having the crew get the bikes off and back on the boat made it convenient. The food was good and the crew were great. I’d take another Sail Croatia trip again.

We had a wonderful time on the Split to Dubrovnik Sail Croatia bike tour.! Sanja and H took us on daily delightful bike rides explaining the history and uniqueness of each island we visited. The crew kept the ship spotless and were attentive to our every need. Our meals were delicious and went far beyond the usual fare. We really enjoyed getting to know our crew and fellow participants!

We had a lovely friendly welcome aboard the ship Afrodita from Sanja and Hrvoje who were super guides throughout our visit. Both guides were very knowledgeable and had plenty stories to tell on our journey. Andre, our on board host, what can I say...he was superb. Andre was attentive and always ready to serve and help, nothing ever appeared to be too much trouble. He interacted with the guests in a friendly yet professional manner. He quickly learned all the guests names and greeted and acknowledged us each time we met which made us feel more like friends than guests. Our chef always made delicious food and was very creative when it came to my vegetarian dishes. The other crew members, Christiana, Ivan, and Randy worked industriously and tirelessly to ensure our comfort and safety. My husband and I had a wonderful balance of activity and relaxation in beautiful surroundings. I would definitely recommend this trip to friends and family (and strangers if they will listen)

Beautiful scenery and lovely people. Ebiking was great and bikes were well maintained and worked well. H was very good at keeping us safe and organized. I think some instructions could have been useful on how to use them though. I have 2 e-bikes at home and they are all different. The only thing that would have made the trip better was to have a ‘get to know you’ event on the first night for guests. Also a few optional organized activities on the afternoons and evenings when we were in ports where islands had little to do. For the cabins a few hooks on the walls and bathroom would have been useful.

I felt that while the guides did an exemplary job. The large number of cyclists (29) in the group was dangerous. The group should have been split into two. Complimentary tea and coffee while on board would have been appreciated. Other cycling tours we’ve been on gave out water bottles which are fun to have and a source of advertising for the company.

The guides were entertaining and fun, the ride itself was doable for anyone with a bit of biking, the food was excellent, and Croatia was stunning at every turn! The Sail Croatia itinerary and guides were top notch. There was a fun plan touring our daily destination by bike, with lots of free time. Our guides were so helpful and informative of local culture, history and dining experiences. The boat was clean & luxurious. The onboard meals were fantastic, staff were friendly and accommodating. Awesome trip What an amazing time we had on Emanuel with 29 on board. Our guides Josko and Ana were brilliant and passionate about their country and history which was shared with us at stops along the way. Great crew and Ben our waiter/bar tender is an amazing young man who worked non stop to make sure everyone was fed and watered. The meals George produced were great. The whole trip was amazing, E-bikes the best, cycling the islands an experience not to be missed and great company of the other 27 passengers. This trip is up there as one of the better holidays we have had. We'll certainly recommend it to others. Thanks for a memorable holiday.

The crew on MS Emanuel were fantastic. The captain owns the boats d you can really tell in the way he personally runs the ship as well as in the crew he has hired. Perhaps even more notable were our guides. Our lead guide, Jobsko was really great. You can feel his leadership from the first time he speaks to address the group. He was great at the cycle route planning and nimble execution to respond to issues along the route. He always had everyone’s safety and comfort top of mind. He explained everything clearly and answered all questions until everyone was clear and ready. Josip was also paired with a second guide who is working her way up. It was great to see him mentoring her and giving her the opportunity to lead and get the experience and confidence she needs to move up. As a team the entire crew a d guides worked well together and with all needed communications to ensure the guests had the best trip possible. M

Firstly Josko and Ana created a fun, informative, considerate and expertly supported experience. We felt extremely secure in their leadership. Secondly the whole group were inclusive, fun and we very quickly felt like we had known each other forever. Thirdly the Captain Ante and crew who were all so friendly and helpful, made sure our holiday was smooth and comfortable, with lots of swim stops and perfect timing. And finally the scenery, rides,and weather were all breathtaking ( literally as I was on an analogue bike !!) A truly life changing experience - would definately recommend . Thank you .

The cycle experience was amazing. Great bikes, easy to use, even for late 60 year olds relatively new to ebikes. Each day was another 'wow' experience. Josko and Ana great tour guides who each day explained what could expect the following day and also during the cycle. The itinerary was excellent as was the cycling with great scenic routes that allowed us to see parts of the country we would not otherwise have done. The weather and amazing group of people were the icing on the cake. What was less good was the interstaff bickering which at times bordered on unprofessional and was making some guests feel a little uncomfortable Finally it should be stressed to guests to absolutely not jump from the top deck which is slippy and one guest really badly bruised herself in slipping off

We had a fabulous time meeting people from several countries. The Princess Diana was clean and comfortable and the guides and crew were friendly, knowledgeable and very welcoming. The daily schedule allowed for cycling, exploring the towns and either relaxing or swimming. There was plenty to eat and the food was well prepared and quite good overall. We learned about Croatian history, customs and culture from our extremely knowledgeable guides who made us feel that we were welcome guests in their country. The e-bike s were good quality and easy to get used to. I would recommend this tour to anyone at a reasonable level of fitness. Some rides were strenuous, but well worth the effort. Bravo Sail Croatia, well done!!

This holiday was a total knock out and far exceeded my expectations. Our two guides, Marin and Mila, were fantastic. They are both passionate about: cycling, Croatian history and maintaining the authentic side of Croatia. Both had safety top of their list - even adapting rides for me as I am afraid of heights. The food was great and as much as I enjoyed the cycling - which was my main reason for booking this holiday - I also enjoyed all of the walks and talks on Croatian history. Without doubt I'll be back!

Enjoyed the cycling and swimming as well as the company of the other clients. We developed a real comraderie along with our two amazing guides and crew. There was much fun and laughter despite a very professional approach by the crew. Both guides had excellent knowledge of the islands and Croatia, making for some very interesting talks and discussions. Sailing gave an interesting and varied overview of the country. Advise bringing sand shoes for stony beaches

Once on board the very comfortable boat, we were well looked after by delightful guides, good chefs, bar staff and boat crew. Good quality e-bikes, excellent guiding around five beautiful Croatian islands, the crew having to adjust the itinerary due to the weather conditions. The other passengers were similar ages to us, loved cycling and the exploring of new places so there were plenty of common interests.

From day one, it was evident that both Anita and Evica have a passion for sharing their country and its history with everyone. Their attention to safety and the well being of everyone was ever present on each bike ride. . They were so patient and kind, making sure the varying degrees of ridership were comfortable with each ride. A very detailed pre-briefing of every ride was given the day before and via WhatsApp. I highly recommend both Anita and Evica!!!

Small group, great atmosphere , very good easy to ride well balanced e bikes. Stunning scenery, just the right amount of challenge and above all 2 fantastic guides. I do not cycle but am fit and love being outside and exploring and the e bikes made it so easy . The terrain is hilly but 35 to 50k per day was no problem even for someone who never rides a bike. All the harbours we moored in on the Split to Split southern route were wonderful. So much to explore . We travelled second week October and had great weather, Sea warm enough for daily swims. Totally recommend .

Our guides were outstanding! They made me feel safe, comfortable, and heard. All questions were answered thoughtfully, and they projected a sense of fun and adventure. This was my first “group “ travel experience and I was pleasantly surprised each day at how well Marija and Josko managed 30 diverse guests! 5 stars for sure.

We felt that the tour was very thoughtful and it made the most of what the weather and the islands had to offer. We have done the Sail Croatia tour once before seven years previous to this trip. We felt just as good about it and that is why we returned.

The sailing and bike riding experience onboard Aphrodite was so enjoyable. By combining exercise and rest together I felt like I had a real holiday. The boat crew were all very friendly and made my trip very pleasant. The food was tasty and presented with flair. My room was comfortable and cosy. The bike manager was professional and always provided us with terrific routes through the islands. Our Tour guide was knowledgeable and kept our interest at all times.
