We really enjoyed cycling the Croatian Islands and our knowledgeable guides shared many interesting details about the history and culture of Croatia. We did two trips, Split Northern return and the Split South to Dubrovnik. Both were fantastic trips and different in their own way. Tonka and Lola guided our first journey and did a great job of supporting us on our old school pedal bikes. Marin and Karlo were our second set of guides and once again provided excellent support for what was our first e-bike experience. The Sail Croatia ships (Mali Ante and Columbo) were both comfortable and are staffed by an amazing crew. The captain and crew's hard work and dedication is reflected in the pristine condition of the ships. The food for both cruises was delicious and plentiful. We did a Sail Croatia cycle tour in 2018 and enjoyed it so much we came back.! This second adventure exceeded our expectations and left us with some wonderful holiday memories.

Sail Croatia made our week of cycling and sailing the Croatian islands amazing. The staff were great and our fellow travellers were all very easy to travel with fun to get to know . They were organized and the food was terrific. I was worried I wasn’t fit enough but I did well on the bikes.

My entire family loved cruising from one beautiful Croatian island to the next and touring around each stop on e-bikes. We got to see much more of each island than if we had hiked or just stayed overnight in each port town/city. The crew & guides are lovely people: professional, friendly & kind. Matilda & Sardan are also skilled bike riders who were patient & accommodated all the varied skill levels. They were knowledgable about each stop, offering wonderful suggestions for dining & site-seeing while on our own to explore. We met wonderful new friends and enjoyed traveling with every single person on our boat. This trip was absolutely AMAZING from start to finish - I can't recommend it enough! My family and I are still stunned at the many incredible views we biked to and the fun of having an active vacation and meeting great people while enjoying wonderful food and wine and exploring so much of beautiful Croatia. We are SO glad we went on this unforgettable adventure!

Sail Croatia was hands down one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. From the moment I stepped onto the boat, I felt welcomed, safe, and genuinely cared for. The staff were absolutely incredible- so loving, kind, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable, happy, and well taken care of. You could tell they really cared about our experience, and that made all the difference. The boat itself was immaculate. Everything was kept so neat and tidy throughout the entire week, and it truly felt like a floating home. But what made the trip even more special were the people. I met some of the most amazing souls – people who started as strangers and became true friends, and even family. There's a unique bond that forms when you’re sailing, sharing meals, and cycling long miles. I can’t recommend Sail Croatia enough. With 3 20-something-year-old kids beginning to go in different directions, we were looking to explore Croatia together and solidify a vacation full of lifelong family memories together. I stumbled upon Sail Croatia as we looked for ways to see the coastal cities and islands. Boy, were we glad we did! An extra bonus was the ability to combine a bit of adventure and activity through a biking cruise. I can't say enough positive things about our experience on Mali Luka and the wonderful crew and captain. Our leaders Mila and Mario, were full of knowledge, experience, hospitality, attention to detail, thoughtfulness, kindness and a passion for the beauty and history of their country. The entire experience was top-notch. The meals and service on board were exceptional and delivered with a smile - always. We loved getting to know so many people from across the world with peace and trust and hospitality. We will forever cherish our memories and new friends from our Sail Croatia experience!

Took this trip with my family as a last hurrah before my sister gets married. It was everything and more I could have hoped for! I truly believe it was the best way to see Croatia. We did the cycling cruise and visited so many incredible places on the islands we wouldn’t have been able to see otherwise. Our boat was always clean, the meals were FANTASTIC, but what really made it was the crew and our cycling guides. Haleem, one of our crew members, catered to every need and was always around to chat with us or teach us a new card game. Our cycling guides, Mila and Mario, were so knowledgeable and made sure to always provide us with the most out of every opportunity. Would do this trip again in a heartbeat!

What an amazing experience - see more of the real Croatia away from tourist ports!. Our tour leaders were fantastic. Ivica was so knowledgeable about the islands and history and always very aware for our safety. Calhum and his tales and folklore of each town… and of course the best music choice! The whole crew - so attentive to all our needs. Azra and Ino cooked up amazing food and great desserts. Keno always had a smile as he welcomed us to breakfast and served up our drinks. The captain Mate and Ilya- excellent boatman and of course captain Mate’s boat was beautiful and well maintained. Very modern bathrooms with great hot water! My one word of VERY important advice - get the e-bike!!! Especially with loop! Can’t wait for the next one!

The tour hosts (Lola and Tonka) and ship’s crew were fantastic! We were fortunate to be traveling with a great group of people and had a fabulous time. The chef did a great job on the meals and the boat had nice touches such as hairdryers in each room.

This was my first time on Sail Croatia cycling cruise, and it far exceeded anything I Imagined, The cycling routes were stunning, with breathtaking vistas. Immersed in the scent of lavender and rosemary along the way, and the olive groves lining the landscape.. What truly made the trip exceptional were the two cycling guides, Ivica and Anita. Their skill and attention to saftey helped me feel completely at ease. Ivica went beyond expectations with optional bonus rides and hikes. His deep knowledge of the area's routes and history added an unexpected layer of richness to the experience. Anita's warmth and knowledge of history and restaurant recommendations made them a great duo. The crew of the Mall Ante were warm, attentive and made us feel completely taken care of. I felt like part of the family. I already have reccomended Sail Croatia and I just got back two days ago. Thank you to everyone who made my solo trip the first of many cycling trips to come.

The boat “ Mali Anti “ was more comfortable and larger than I expected. My cabin was large with wardrobe and cupboard space again more than I am used to on smaller boats . The shower and bathroom was clean and functional . The Crew were always around to help , immaculate in serving us and attending all our needs . The food was enjoyable and plenty bearing in mind we were cycling every day . I met many new friends and had a fun time which was again above my expectations. The crew who took us on our cycle trips , Ivica and Anita were brilliant. Helped us all from flat tyres repair , advice on restaurants, bars.interesting stories of the history of all the locations and islands they took us to . They made us safe and looked after us making the whole week just perfect The islands were stunning , cycling through beautiful villages , vineyards and deserved coffee stops meant I had such a fabulous holiday I am back home for 2 days and have booked again for next year!

Three reasons to go. Boat: Gorgeous comfy boat and cabin with such beautiful wood work with lots of places for the guests to spread out and relax. Bike: Awesome bike riding through all terrain with a close up view of each island. I am not a big bike rider but an relatively fit so found the rides enjoyably challenging. Never felt rushed. Ebikers went ahead and classic bikes hung back and paced themselves. And the food! Being a vegetarian I did not want to get my hopes up but boy did they impress me. Incredibly well prepared food. And with all the biking I had an appetite that was well satisfied. And consider yourself blessed if you get Ivan and Marin as your guides. Those guys took such good care of everyone - especially me being the only solo guest. And Marvin's historical briefings for each island was something I looked forward to each day! Thanks for the lifetime memories!

I felt that while the guides did an exemplary job. The large number of cyclists (29) in the group was dangerous. The group should have been split into two. Complimentary tea and coffee while on board would have been appreciated. Other cycling tours we’ve been on gave out water bottles which are fun to have and a source of advertising for the company.

This holiday was a total knock out and far exceeded my expectations. Our two guides, Marin and Mila, were fantastic. They are both passionate about: cycling, Croatian history and maintaining the authentic side of Croatia. Both had safety top of their list - even adapting rides for me as I am afraid of heights. The food was great and as much as I enjoyed the cycling - which was my main reason for booking this holiday - I also enjoyed all of the walks and talks on Croatian history. Without doubt I'll be back!

The crew was fantastic, the people that were guests were amazing, and the planning that went into making it all happen was incredible! We felt that the tour was very thoughtful and it made the most of what the weather and the islands had to offer. We have done the Sail Croatia tour once before seven years previous to this trip. We traveled with family and friends - everyone had a connection to at least one other person and my sister - the organizer - had done a cruise on the Mali Ante the year before, so certainly all of that familiarity contributed, but the trip was just a wonderful combination of exercise, relaxation, wonderful people, perfect weather and idyllic destinations. I don't remember ever being that relaxed and content.

The itinerary, staff, accommodation and food were all great. The staff were very helpful and accommodating my gluten free diet. Visiting 4 islands was great. The option to have ebikes was good - especially in the heat. The organising of the sailing, where we stopped and the routes we covered on the bikes - were all very well planned out and explained to us every day in detail. The staff were very friendly. Most tourists to the Dalmatian islands most likely never make it past the coast and beaches. Yes, that area is stunning on most every island. But… seeing the interior of the island is equally as beautiful. Stone farmhouses nestled among vineyards and olive trees. Churches, Everyday life for the inhabitants. I am so glad I had the opportunity. But I won’t kid you… while it is beautiful, the hills are challenging! I was not prepared for how hard a 20 mile ride would be! Make sure you reserve an e-bike if you are the least bit uncertain. I would do this tour again. Absolutely. The crew was wonderful, the guides caring and amazing, the food on ship was great, and the ports we visited were everything and more than I expected. Totally worth it and I was sad when it was time to disembark the ship. : (

The crew was fabulous. Very professional and hardworking. The Tour Guides were awesome. Very knowledgeable, friendly and made the experience enjoyable. The itinerary was well planned and worked well. The food was great, room was clean. I was traveling solo and was assigned a roommate which worked well. Met many wonderful people on board and felt like family at the end. This was our first cycling trip and everything went smoothly. The ship was clean, the crew professional, and the bikes were excellent Our guides were outstanding. Mila and Marija were not just cycling guides but historians and helpful in every way. We were a group of 32 older folks, 50+ in age and they were able educate us, motivate us when we saw those big hills and narrow winding roads. They offered good suggestions for cafes, little known pieces of information about the villages and kept us all happy and safe. Highly recommend this route too as we got to see the most amazing scenery along the coast.

The 8-day sail and cycle cruise was excellent from beginning to end. All information communication, both on the website and in person, was clear and informative. Our guides, crew, and chef were friendly, fun, and helpful. The food was delicious. For breakfast, we had a great choice of food, and lunch and/or dinner were three courses. The bikes were well-maintained and great to ride. The riding was mostly on the road, with a guide in front and back. The guides were very experienced and safety conscious and made the experience personal. Hope to be returning to do another.

I had an incredible experience on the Emanuel ship during the Split to Dubrovnik cycle tour. The crew were top notch - always willing to answer the many questions the guests had, Very courteous and patient. We were treated so well and we were fed delicious food. The cycling portion was so fun. Our Lead Representative and Bike Tour leader, Dora, was excellent at providing information to us throughout the day regarding the bike routes, the timing of various stops along the way, and other useful information. Her local knowledge was particularly helpful when we were in the various ports. She kept us up to date on any schedule changes so that we were always in the know. Andro was our other Representative and Bike Tour Sub-leader and he was very knowledgeable about Croatian history, sharing information about each island we visited. He was always willing to answer questions from the group and help in any way he could. The boat was very comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend.

This was my second leg of a 2 week trip. First of all, I can't thank Captain Ivan for a superb trip! He was very prompt and got us to our destinations with time to spare. The bikes were on and off the boat in 5 minutes and he got the best docking spots! Ivika and Marija were a great team. Every morning, Ivica did a briefing with an interactive map and his #1 concern was that we all were safe and together. The both made sure we saw everything that there was too see! Beyond fabulous! The food was fresh and delicious and the crew were very friendly and helpful. Olga & Paula were very attentive to all the guests and went out of their way to satisfy everyone's needs. The rooms were spacious and spotless. In conclusion, this crew was including guides were an outstanding team and I am doing this again next year for 2 weeks!

Croatia is beautiful,, the guides were great and the boat was very clean. Food was good and there’s plenty of it!! Don’t be put off by the slightly cheaper rooms below deck. They have better sound proofing as some of the ports can be quite noisy.. There was a concert one night on the pier and I didn’t hear it in my cabin. Pack light as there’s not much storage. The cabins below deck could benefit from some extra hooks and shelves. A fantastic trip overall.

The crew on the Mali Luka were the the most gracious bunch of folks. They all worked so hard to make our trip enjoyable and fun! Dora and Anita were our guides. They kept us safe and together. Everywhere we visited on the bikes or by foot, they have us a bit of history about the region. The captain Ivan was a very capable and friendly guy. He got us everywhere we needed to be and was always on time. Olga and Paula were the most hardworking, friendly and courteous woman always ready to help you out with anything you needed. The rides everyday were safe and fun with some elevation. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a little adventure! I'm doing 2 weeks and it's been fantastic

Our Boat, Emanuel, was a top notch boat. It is an older boat that was beautifully restored and had a great crew and Captain. I loved that it was a family run boat and there was a lot of pride in taking are of it. Emanuel was spotless, had a hard working, friendly crew and timely wonderful meals. Our guides were spectacular and very attentive. I loved riding my e-bike daily through the beautiful islands of the Adriatic Sea. Our guide was very clear each day about the length and difficulty of the rides. I felt so comfortable that it was hard to leave. All in all, it was one of my favorite trips. Thank you Emanual!!

The daily cycling routes through the beautiful Croatian islands and countrysides were incredible. Sailing to each island was a relaxing and wonderful experience. Our guides Karolina and Mila worked well with each other.. Karolina outlined our day efficiently and handled any issues or changes in the schedule with a sense of calmness and grace. Mila was passionate about sharing her wealth of information with the group. She has motivated me to research more about Croatia’s history when I get home.
