Our time aboard Salve Di Mare far exceeded all we hoped for. Meeting lovely folk & enjoying their company whilst sailing the Croatian Islands. Every day a new destination with recommendations for activities & places to eat. Swim stops every day were great fun & being able to use the kayaks & SUPs a bonus! Our rep Vicko was the best! Professional, friendly, humorous, knowledgeable & attentive to all questions. All the staff/crew were excellent. They all worked tirelessly with a smile for everyone! Not enough stars for the crew on the Almissa yoga cruise. The welcoming from the first day til the sad last day! Dora- our breath of fresh air. Goes above and beyond. Whatever you needed she was there. Chefs- I have never ate so well on a holiday. Still want the recipes! Deckhands- so funny and handle the boat and tinder expertly. Cezar and Kafka - Bartenders/Maid /servers- we kept you guys very busy and you were top notch! Captain Josef- great honor to sail with him. He is a master of his craft. Would highly recommend sailing with this crew and boat! Going to miss all the fun with yoga, swimming holes, hikes and wine tasting/dinner. Thank you for a truly wonderful and unforgettable holiday!

Great experience! Ship was nice and recently remodeled. Overall wonderful way to see Coastal Croatia and would definitely recommend. Mario was our tour guide and he was amazing, really helpful and kind. The crew were great. The boat itself was outdated but nothing that affected our holiday. Food was good overall. Great itinerary and overall we had a lot of fun. Couple days towards the end felt a little rushed. Even earlier breakfast and very short swim stop to get to islands which there was nothing to do on. Would have appreciated better and longer swim stops on those. Customer service was great helping answer questions and booking. Overall definitely recommend the cruise.

I knew this trip would be once-in-a-lifetime, but the Contessa crew exceeded every expectation! My family had so much to celebrate—my parents renewed their vows, I got engaged, and I celebrated 20 years cancer-free. As someone who normally travels with a detailed itinerary and spreadsheet, this was the first time I truly let go and went pomalo—and I’m so glad I did. In just 7 days, strangers from Canada, Australia, Norway, and the USA became friends. That says everything about the incredible atmosphere this crew created. Unique experience was heightened by the crew: their smiles, going above & beyond without request, delicious food (accommodating allergies & preferences too). Favorite memories: Sailor Tino serving as cocktail server delivering to our "floating bar" we created utilizing the paddle boards during swim stops. Bartender Naeno remembering my drinks from day 1 - am manually making my fresh iced tea from brewed & pm chardonnay w/3 ice cubes. Great conversation & genuinely cared to get to know people. Bartender Joanna sweet & accommodating even when I was being "extra". Attendant Joy for keeping our cabin clean-constantly replacing bathmat & folding clothes, etc. Our space cozy and spotless too. Director Vin was funny even when he wasn't trying to be. Tip to future guests: Do not start a drinking game where you drink anytime he says the word "ALSO". If ya know, ya know. Don't forget Sailor Charlie - ALWAYS cleaning the yacht. Have a chat with him about where he's lived too.

It would have been nice to explore the towns in the morning and then do a swim stop after lunch when it was extremely hot. I also wish there was more excursions like jet skis or fishing. We enjoyed our trip tremendously. We have never been on a cruise. This is the best way to give a cruise a try. It’s a smaller cruise boat with only a handful of people and crew. Great bar with attentive staff. No disco and thousands of people swarmed by a pool. The food was very good. It was the perfect balance of action, adventure, sightseeing and relaxation. The private swim coves were one of our favorite parts of the day. Our coordinator Klara was amazing. I know it’s her job to be friendly but I truly felt like she really enjoyed our group and wanted to hang out with us. I definitely recommend Sail Croatia. We may even try their Greek Island tour…only if Klara is the coordinator.

We were blown away by the end to end experience w/ Sail Croatia— thoughtful stops, daily swimming, excursions + dining reservations made in advance on your behalf. We are busy working parents juggling robust school + sports schedules. Once we got onboard we left all the logistics, planning, navigating to Sail Croatia and were able to miss many of the crowds commonly found across Croatia in August. Our tour manager Hana is an ace at her job and brought in enough history / cultural overview to keep the teenagers interested. Food was beyond expectation and accommodating of allergies + preferences. Cabins were clean and well appointed. We will be re booking this holiday! 5 stars.

Sailed on the Contessa. The cabin was wonderful with lots of storage. Suggest having a top sheet on beds and a shower mat as floor is slippery. Loved all of the ports and time to swim in the Adriatic! Wonderful crew. Requested an itemized bill at the end but said they don't have a printer. The food was amazing! Fresh fruit everyday, pastries, eggs etc. Lunch was bountiful! The presentation of meals was 5 star! Loved the view from the top deck and all around the ship. A small thing, but maybe a sign upon arrival posting Welcome to ...(port). The crew works very hard and the ship is immaculate. I'd highly recommend. A fantastic experience. I don’t have the words to clearly express how amazing the Almissa cruise was. I’ve travelled a lot and met many wonderful people, however Hana, our Tour Director, was special and will linger in my memory. It’s easy to provide information but Hana was honest about what was available to see or do and determined that everyone would have something they liked, but most of all she enjoyed every single person on board, listening to their stories about life and experiences. What a wonderful person! Sail Croatia is lucky to have her. The rest of the crew was also amazing, our Bartenders (aka waiters) were hilarious and so sweet, they genuinely wanted everyone to have a good time and it showed. The entire crew was amazing led by a Captain that knew when the winds were shifting and seas might get rough! The food was excellent, the Almissa is a beautiful sailboat. I loved my room, excellent comfortable bed. Would I go again? In a heartbeat, but I’d go because of the crew!!

One of the most amazing weeks! The crew were incredible, the meals were delicious and the boat was so comfortable and clean. I love that we had swim spots everyday, the crew and guides were so helpful and gave so many Suggestions but you could also do as you pleased when you docked. The group chat meant we had our itinerary for the day and knew what our options were and when things were happening. We had a great week aboard Princeza Diana. The crew were attentive and our host Ana very knowledgeable. Some great excursion options. A small group of 15 which actually made the week as we all got to know each other so well and all clicked. Highly recommend. I would say though when asked if you have dietary restrictions, if you don’t like fish or tomatoes worth saying as they are very much apart of the meals. Overall meals were good.

If you are considering a Sail Croatia trip, take the plunge and go! We absolutely loved our experience from start to finish. (We departed Dubrovnik on July 4 and ended in Split - Explorer.) The itinerary was the perfect combination of beautiful destinations, swimming, adventure, culture, food, and plenty of time to relax and enjoy the incredible Adriatic coastline. What really made the trip special, though, was the experience of traveling with a small group and the dedicated crew. Of our 31 travelers, 11 were international (Scottish, British, Spanish, Australian, South African), with the rest from the US - and all were awesome humans! With Josip as our guide, and the Salve Di Mare crew caring for us all week, we enjoyed every minute with all our new friends. And the ship is perfection! The trip was well organized, while still feeling relaxed and adventurous. We came home with memories we'll never forget and friends we hope to see again. Five stars without hesitation!

Our week on the Almissa was amazing. Great food, staff, rooms, common spaces and other guests. The itinerary was excellent including a variety of activities and swim spots. A truly unique and special way to experience Croatia and we have no hesitation recommending the Almissa. The Sail Croatia communication was good in the lead up to the tour. A few things to note as feedback. Make the end of tour survey anonymous to get honest and useful feedback, carrying cash is a pain now for tourists - the fact everything on the boat and the extra tours and tips are to be paid in cash is inconvenient. Towels on the ship could be replaced - they are getting a bit old. Provide tea and coffee after lunch for free. This would be a small inexpensive thing to include - many international guests like their coffee and tea in the afternoon. 3 Euros for a cup of tea is way over the top. Finally the tipping recommendation appears out of step with what the cruise cost is. Small suggestions.

Our Sail Croatia cruise was one of the best trips of my life! My husband, our adult kids, and I all agreed it was an unforgettable experience. You never know what to expect with 35 strangers but this mini 7 night cruise exceeded all expectations. We were warmly greeted and had ample time to mingle or do our our things. We were provided with numerous options for eating out and placed to visit at each stop. The on board food (breakfast and lunch) were plentiful and the swim stops along the way were so dreamy and refreshing during our hot week on board. The rooms were well spaced with ample storage for our 2 large and 2 small cases and the A/C kicked in well at night. Our main host Andro was exceptional and his command of the English language made everything seamless, closely followed by the diligent boat crew . We had so much fun, lots of drinks and laughs with guests and plenty of time to really unpack and unwind. I felt safe, my belongings were secure and we strongly recommend the Tempera to those looking for adventure, unique beauty but ample time to chill out.. There are a few deserving tips and taxes to factor in though.

Croatia is beautiful, I loved all the islands, Stari Grad and Mljet National Park were highlights. Tempera is due for a refurb next year, it's fine, but it does need some attention. The crew were great. As a pescatarian I was catered for, but hot breakfast items were all in the same serving dish - eggs tasted of sausages - I can cope with that, but many wouldn't. Overall, thoroughly enjoyable.

I had the best week on my Explorer cruise, the Almissa! I am a 28 y/o female and was traveling solo, and I was worried about having other solo travelers and people my age there, but it worked out perfectly! There was a large age range on the boat (late 20s to early 70s), but everyone was so fun and we all got along so well. We felt like family by the end! I was a bit nervous to book because there weren't many photos online of the boat and the agents I chatted with and emailed beforehand were very unhelpful. However, once I arrived, the crew was awesome and the boat was beautiful. The cabins were way bigger than expected and the common areas had been renovated! Breakfast was mediocre, but the lunches were overall impressive. I am gluten intolerant and I was incredibly impressed by how well they handled this and adapted meals for me. I will say, drinks on board are very expensive (€5 for a coke and €15 for a cocktail), but they were good. I've already recommended this to my friends!

I was somewhat disappointed and felt the overall experience to be a little lacking. While the air conditioning failed in some cabins and the crew did what they could to fix it was understandable, one guest complained and the Captain felt it necessary to berate all guests on board at dining. The excursions were less than what was advertised. The swim time was extremely long and cut into time that could have been spent on shore. We scheduled a pick up through our ship from our hotel to the ship for departure and then were not allowed on the ship for 2 hours in an area with no shelter, shopping or bathrooms. The coordinator of excursions missed the mark on helping acquire e-bikes along with knowledge of restaurants and distances to attractions. There were not enough deck chairs for the number of guests. The jacuzzi was filled only twice. Coffee was only available during breakfast hour or had to pay for it. Overall, the experience was not what we had hoped for or planned.

This was a fabulous holiday! There are just three reasons I couldn't give it a perfect 5. 1. "Water toys"-having only 4 "floaties" when you have 36 people on board is not enough. On vacation, no one wants to jump is the sea and tread water for the duration of the swim stop. 2. The new Contessa is lovely. However, on the top deck there was not nearly enough loungers or chairs. People were having to share or go below deck. There was plenty of space for more. 3. It is a bummer that you advertise excursions to Explorer travelers but they actually do not happen or are not reccomended. We were excited on day 1 to go river rafting but once on board heard that that actually wasn't an excursion. Same with canoeing-said you "could" go, but that it was a very bad experience. Better tour operators or excursions need to be sourced. Lola was super and responsive. Martin and Neno amazing employees! Chef Bane and Marko fab. Charlie and Tino fun on deck, and maids were wonderful.

The Croatian itinerary was fantastic, and the crew were friendly and hardworking throughout the trip. Unfortunately, the condition of the Mali Ante did not meet our expectations. The ship felt older and less well-maintained than many others we saw in port. The jacuzzi was out of service for most of the trip, our shower leaked, & our lower-deck cabin was extremely noisy whenever the engines started. The cabin was also very damp, leaving clothing and towels moist and causing some clothes to develop a musty odor. We also found what appeared to be mold or mildew staining on our bedding. Breakfast was limited to one hour each morning, no snacks were provided between meals, and guests could not bring their own snacks or drinks onboard. Drinks were expensive, and the bar tab had to be paid in cash. Considering the ship’s condition and limited amenities, the suggested gratuities felt excessive. While Croatia was beautiful, the overall experience did not provide the value we expected.

Our week on the Sail Croatia Explorer aboard Almissa far exceeded our expectations. Lauren and the crew were amazing, and everything ran so smoothly. The swim stops were beautiful, and the food was always delicious. A special thank you to Bobby and Marko for catering so well to gluten-free dietary requirements - we never felt like we were missing out. A huge shoutout to Ceaser and Kafka for the fun nights, great music, and always bringing the good vibes. The week truly had something for everyone, whether you wanted a social night out or an early night in (or both, like us!). What really made the trip special was the group of guests. There was such a fun mix of people and ages (we're in our mid-20s), and by the end of the week, it felt like one big happy family. We’ve left Almissa with incredible memories and couldn't recommend this experience highly enough.

We scheduled our Sail Croatia trip hoping for a Family Adventure and it was SO MUCH MORE than we had even hoped! Croatia was beautiful! Waking up every morning on the Almissa to a new swim spot was epic and the excursions were fantastic! She made every excursion seamless, and her brief history of each destination befire our arrival was one of our favorite parts of the trip. Fabulous family trip with brilliant crew and fantastic cruise director. The 7 days we spent with Sail Croatia on an Explorer cruise on the beautiful Contessa is an experience I will long remember. Anita, our cruise director kept us updated every day and was super helpful with any request we had. Thank you Anita- your knowledge of our destinations, recommendations and patience was outstanding. Bar staff, Nino and Martin were good fun and always keen to help. Thanks for the card game lesson! The rest of the crew were also helpful and responsive to any requests- food was consistently very good and catered for our meal preferences. Great tour options at each location. Salve di Mare is a beautiful boat. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The lunches were delicious. Our guide Nikos was wonderful. He had recommendations for bars and restaurants and was helpful with the excursions. We had a small group and enjoyed all the guest on the boat. I cannot think of a better way to see the coast of Croatia. I would highly recommend Sail Croatia and Salve di Mare.

OMG… this trip was AMAZING! I found Sail Croatia on Google, from my very first enquiry right through to the very last day stepping off the boat, the communication & service were exceptional. My sister & I travelled from Split to Dubrovnik Day 1 unfortunately greeted us with rain, however the crew lifted everyone’s spirits with a welcome drink onboard, cosy blankets & warm hospitality all around. The crew were absolutely incredible, honestly cannot fault any one of them. They all worked so well together as a team. Nikos, the best! I had an amazing holiday and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dino, our rep, was incredibly welcoming from the start and made everything feel easy and enjoyable. The food on the boat was outstanding throughout the trip, and the bar staff were super friendly and always brought great humour to the atmosphere. On Captain’s Dinner Night, it was especially nice to see the captain making an effort to personally talk to guests—it really added a special touch to the whole experience. Dino, our tour manager was lovely and very responsive to our questions and requests. He often responded within a minute and was already taking action on our request. He was very knowledgeable about each location and gave us a daily briefing. The ship was beautiful and the staff friendly. Due to rough seas the itinerary had to be changed and we did not visit Vis, but instead went to Omiš, which was a lovely town with stunning landscapes and some exciting excursion options! They handled the itinerary changes gracefully and seamlessly. I've deducted one star as there were a few quirks along the way that could have made the stay more pleasant: The ship has AC, but only when the AC is turned on as a whole, so for the first couple nights and the last night our room was a nearly unbearable 77-80°F at night, there were a couple days where housekeeping came into the room, but the room was only partially done, like 1 out of 3 beds done. All in all it was an enjoyable experience though!

Traveling with Sail Croatia was an experience that was more than " just a cruise" where you are one of hundreds or thousands on a massive ship. It wasn't perfect, but I look back on the friendships we made, the cozy feel of the ship and I'm left with special memories of our time on the Adriatic. When we arrived in Split and were faced with two massive cruise ships at port, I was so thankful for the choice we made. Dino, our cruise director, was a very relatable, friendly guy who responded quickly with our questions. The crew were all very nice! I rated it 4/5 mainly because of a few issues such as ventilation in the cabin that made it uncomfortable for a few days. Otherwise, it would be 5/5!

The communication before during and after made the decision to book simple, what to do during the cruise easy and decision to rebook in the future a definite. The staff was visible hardworking and always available to assist in any way need from pouring a drink, crossing a gap or information about local culture or traditions. The cruise director Dino was the best. He not only informative and professional but also fun and engaging. He arranged activities,,helped with bookings,, transport and was there for us to resolve an unexpected inconvenience with a flat tire on a bike excursion . Whike the weather was not perfect for our cruise. Dino and the Captain worked together to avoid the difficult uncontrollable weather and locate ports with better weather and new fun activities seamlessly. We cruised on the Salve di Mare and had a great experience from start to finish! Monica in Sales was my first point of contact and she was friendly, professional and always quick to respond. A pleasure to work with! The cruise itself far exceeded our expectations, primarily because of our Tour Manager, Vicko. He was outstanding!! Not only did he keep us informed about each day's itinerary and the optional excursions, he provided rich historical context and interesting trivia as well. He is a walking textbook on Croatia - but not in a stuffy professor-like way. Everyone on board absolutely loved him! Our bartenders, Marco and Vlaho, were also very service-oriented and friendly. They did an excellent job. As for the food, it was delicious! The chefs make everything on board so each dish was fresh and tasty. Passenger-wise, there were only 40 of us so we were able to get to know one another rather quickly. I suspect that many new (life long?) friendships were formed. Thanks, Sail Croatia!

Our experience with Sail Croatia was phenomenal! It was one of the best trips we've ever taken - offering a nice balance of relaxation on the boat and activities on the islands. It was great to have flexibility to explore on our own (using recommendations provided if we wish) or opt in to the excursions. We enjoyed that we docked in port every night so we could stay out and enjoy the island as long as we wanted. All of the staff were so welcoming, kind, and provided top notch hospitality! We also really enjoyed meeting our fellow shipmates and actually formed some deep friendships with others on the boat, which was unexpected but made the experience that much more special. Like fairies because we never saw her. Vsisko was a very good leader. He was knowledgeable, had attention to detail. Enjoyed his morning 10 am debriefs and historical information. Swim stops were the true highlight of our adventure. The only negative, or, suggestion I would have is on the food. Overall, the flavors were very good. However, we all wanted a green salad every once-in-awhile. Could even make a large salad with chicken or shrimp the main course. Or, grilled vegies with the main course. Did not like the lamb chops. Chicken dish and hummus salad was delicious! Crew and staff went above an beyond to create a special wedding anniversary celebration for my husband and me. Great memories and will recommend Sail Croatia.

We had never booked a holiday like this so was a little apprehensive on what to expect. I can honestly say it was amazing. This was such a great way to explore Croatia. We were travelling as a family with 3 young adult/ teenage boys. This type of holiday had the perfect balance of visiting some absolutely stunning destinations and activities such a cycling around a beautiful National Park and driving a buggy through a vineyard and across the island to a beautiful beach. We particularly enjoyed our morning swim stop in beautiful locations were you could take a leisurely swim or paddle board and some snorkelling. Our boat was beautiful ( Queen Jelena) met some great people and the staff could not have done more for us - thank you Nikos and team. Would totally recommend this holiday - you will not be disappointed!

Such an easy and efficient way to see coastal Croatia. You meet lots of others on the boat, however there is plenty of time and opportunity to be by yourselves as well. The excursions are really worthwhile - we particularly enjoyed the bike ride in Mijet National Park. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I picked the below deck cabin as I was told it was quieter, however I would recommend an above deck cabin if you can. Could not fault anything with Sail Croatia and would highly recommend.

We specifically picked this boat for the hot tub which never worked for the entire trip. Very disappointed by this. We expected more regional dishes for lunch ie more seafood. Most meals were red meat based. The cabin bathrooms were far from clean. The floor under the sink was filthy and shower grout was in need of a cleaning. Just back from a week sailing on Princeza Diana Explorer cruise, from start to finish booking and communication was stress free with Sail Croatia. The boat was lovely and clean, food was delicious. I am a 27 year old female solo traveler and I had the best week ever on the Almissa explorer boat! Barbra was our host for the week and it felt like she was a long lost friend. She gave us great recommendations as well as her honest opinions on what to do and not to do in each of the towns we visited. The breakfast and lunches cooked by chef Marko and Bobi each day were phenomenal! The waiters, Kike and Cezar felt like family and already had your name memorized by the end of the first day. Josip the captain and the sailers Ivan and Marko were awesome! Finding the best swim spots each day and making sure it was smooth sailing all week. I can’t recommend this boat and crew enough. I took my 19 year old daughter on the Esperanza Explorer cruise and it exceeded my expectations by far. The ship was beautiful, the rooms spacious, the staff fantastic and knowledgeable and the itinerary was perfect. We met a huge variety of people and had a chance to connect and make new friends due to the intimate size of the cruise. Sailing to a new swim spot each morning was the BEST way to start the day, Follow that with a superb lunch and just the right amount of education on the next ports history and things to do and then we were off to explore, wine taste, kayak, hike, shop or just hang at the beach. The entire cruise was just beautiful. From the greeting, the food, the cleanliness and especially the service! Top notch in all areas. A must do if you want to visit the islands of Croatia. The cruise director was great in giving a run down of the next port and excursions. We just signed up and showed up! The company provided the transportation to the excursions if necessary! The entire crew made this trip special. Dino was so helpful with a full list of suggestions, location and all the information needed. The bartender/servers were so friendly and always hade huge smiles. Christina and Cesar are just fabulous. The boat crew and Captain were also so professional and made us feel right at home.

Thank you so much to the Sail Croatia team! Vic and his colleagues were fantastic - friendly, informative, accommodating, and always available. Regarding the food, Inow realize I should have been a little more specific on my preferences, as a vegetarian. Very heavy on the carbohydrates including bread and pasta, which we had for lunch several days. I would love salads and fresh vegetables/greens with meals. All in all this trip was fantastic. So pleased with the experience, and would definitely consider doing it again.

I have done many cruises, this was by far one of the best. The crew and our Tour director Dino made it very enjoyable. Dino was extremely organized in setting up each stop and excursions. Was very informative regarding dinner and even went a step above making reservations. I would highly recommend Sail Croatia.

I was a little anxious going on this trip as a solo female traveller, but was lucky to have a great group of people who made it a very special week. Sail Croatia have got the balance just right between relaxation and activities. It's a very well organised operation, and Vicko did a great job giving us the information we needed on a daily basis. The Tempera crew were fun and attentive. What our boat lacked in glitz and glamour it made up for with character. The meals were very good, I would have loved to see a bit of steamed green vegetable like chard, beans or broccoli on the plates at lunch. Optional activities were great fun, wine tasting on Stari Grad was a highlight. Whilst the buggy trip on Korcula was fun (and spectacular) it felt rushed, and we had only 20 minutes at the stunning beach for a quick swim. Maybe given the custom that they receive from Sail Croatia they can negotiate more time there? The swim stops were a highlight. It was a great way to see a lot in one week.

My sister and I had an incredible trip on the Tempera from August 2-9, 2025, exploring Sale, Croatia. The experience was truly stellar, thanks to the phenomenal crew and captain. With just 25 guests, the intimate setting fostered quick friendships for all aboard. We shared meals, laughs, and adventures, making lasting connections. I was pleased to do the Explorer Sail Croatia the past week. I was impressed with the organisation of everything to make the cruise as fun as possible. Ivana was our guide, and she is fantastic. Due to a cancelled flight, I missed the boat departure, but as soon as I got in touch, Ivana guided me on how to get to the boat the next morning. The crew was also excellent, heads up to the chef and Miro. The optional excursion was so much fun. I also loved the boat, Mali Ante. I recommend Sail Croatia 100%.

The crew on Mali Ante are absolutely phenomenal! They are kind, accommodating, fun and work at the very high level of service in the industry relentlessly. Our tour manager, Lola, really made every day exciting and shortlisted everything which was best and worth our money! She is patient, so kind, funny and makes every location experience better with tailored and realistic reviews. Very grateful for the experience especially as a solo female. We have just returned from a week on Almissa, having been on the same ship 3 years previously, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We loved everything about our cruise and were lucky to find a great group of like minded travellers on board who were brilliant company and very friendly. Almissa has an amazing crew, a captain who was very present and easy to chat to and hardworking, fun bar and serving staff. Klara was a fantastic guide with her humour, knowledge and helpfulness, she really made everything go seamlessly and was a lot of fun. Everyone worked hard and couldn’t do enough for us. We felt that the food was better this time than 3 years ago, so well done to the kitchen staff. We enjoyed all the beautiful towns and looked forward to the daily swim stops. We would have no hesitation in recommending this cruise and may even try another week with Sail Croatia in the future.

I had a 5 star experience on Sail Croatia explorer cruise for many reasons including the wonderful group of people onboard, the staff who attended to every need, the swim stops, excursions on offer, and the meals were 10/10 (the staff were also very accommodating when I informed them I don’t eat red meat). Our Sail Croatia Representative, Vicko, went above and beyond to make our experience the best it could be, he was always willing to offer advice, to join us on excursions, provide relative and interesting information about the locations we visited, and tailor our experiences to ensure we had the best time possible. He was the best tour guide I have ever met, he helped me to find a local chemist, made restaurant recommendations, and assisted in making local bookings. I feel the experience would not have been the same without him, and he became a friend to all by the end of the cruise. I will be back and will be recommending this trip to others as it was such a positive experience.

From the moment we stepped on the boat to the moment we departed we received excellent care from our Tempera cruise manager Nikos and his team. Nikos and his team were warm friendly and attentive to our every need. Nikos kept us informed via the WhatsApp group chat and daily announcements and did a fantastic job of coordinating all of the fun and interesting activities. The food which included daily breakfast and lunch were delicious. I also really enjoyed the fact that it was a smaller boat with about 35 guests. We really enjoyed meeting and getting to know our lovely fellow guests from around the world and it was fun to interact with them all during the various activities that were organized on our various stops and to run into them while out and about on the islands. Another thing that I really liked was being able to visit several amazing and beautiful places in a week without needing to pack and unpack between stops. This was an awesome experience and I highly recommend it.

My partner and I booked onto this trip to Croatia to join family who had already booked on. We all enjoyed a fantastic holiday and had a wonderful time away. This was hands down one of the best trips we’ve taken in years. There are so many things we loved about our experience but three things single handedly took first prize. 1. Our Sail Croatia guide Vicko was BRILLIANT!! His daily pre departure talks gave us so much rich context about the places we were going that elevated each days destination and he worked tirelessly to ensure all excursions were booked ahead of time and dinner reservations were made. Vicko is THE reason we will definitely be booking with Sail Croatia again! 2. The ship and crew- beautiful clean accommodation and the most amazing, welcoming, accommodating crew! It was really cool to get to know the captain too who was so welcoming and accommodating. 3. The food was just spectacular!! We really appreciated the opportunity to try so many traditional dishes while on the boat. We also loved the wine list which allowed us to try so many different Croatian wines over the course of the trip.

We just returned from a week on the Tempera from Dubrovnik to Split. I cannot wait to tell all my friends in the US about Sail Croatia. The boat was very comfortable with plenty of common area space. What really made our trip special was the CREW on the Tempera. Anything we needed or requested was addressed immediately. The food was amazing and the chefs were great. The bartenders Max & Milan, were so friendly and always handled my special drink requests with a smile. Toma was great making sure we didn’t drown at the swim stops. They were all fun to talk to and went above and beyond to make sure we were all taken care of in every way. Finally Nicos our cruise director was perfection! He always gave fabulous recommendations for restaurants, excursions and also went above and beyond. He was so knowledgeable about every island and city we visited. Anything we asked him to do he did it quickly and efficiently. He is amazing at what he does! Thanks for a perfect week!

The cabins and boat were clean and comfortable and the food exceeded expectations. Captain Josef (on Almissa) always seemed calm and nimble in his decisions to give us the best cruising experiences, finding lovely sheltered swim spots. The week with Sail Croatia was awesome. Lola was an amazing tour manager, she was well organised, a great communicator, very knowledgeable and friendly. The boat Salve di Mare was a beautiful ship, the rooms felt more spacious than I expected, which was great as I was travelling solo and sharing with another guest. The whole week was amazing, we spent the mornings swimming at various secluded swim stops, which I absolutely loved! The afternoons and evenings were for exploring the towns. Lola and the crew were excellent at planning our stops to ensure we arrived at the best time to avoid crowds if possible. For example we left early to get to the Blue Cave first thing to avoid the cues. I would definitely recommend sailing with Sail Croatia!

Croatia is absolutely stunning and I cannot imagine a better way to explore the Dalmatian coast. The trip was a perfect mix of relaxing and activities. The daily swim stops were so much fun, with opportunity to kayak and paddle board. The crew were amazing and so attentive and Callum the tour leader was exceptional. He gave amazing advice and recommendations of places to visit for meals, points of interest and gelato! I met some incredible people and made friends for life. All crewmembers were absolutely amazing! From Dino, to Karlo, to Nikola and the Captain, they were all super professional and fun!! The itinerary was spot on for what we wanted to do and I really appreciate the professionalism of our Captain. We were docked next to another Sail Croatia boat at one point whose Captain was very disrespectful to the noise ordinance times and, in turn, the other boats around them. The only recommendation I have is to add lounge chairs to the top level, not just the mats. Absolutely beautiful and we had a great time!

This is my second trip with Sail Croatia, I think that says enough on how amazing they are. Every single second was so beautiful, exciting, and enjoyable. Our tour guide, Lola, was so lovely and you can tell she wants you to enjoy your time and fall in love with not only Croatia itself but the people within it. The crew on Almissa was definitely the highlight of my trip. From the captain, to the sailors, chefs, and waiters, words cannot describe how magnificent they made this week. The food is delicious and full of flavor, the cabins feel cozy, and the boat makes you feel at home. If you can book with Almissa, I can promise you that you won’t regret it. The staff at Sail Croatia made us so comfortable - from immediately understanding and responding to my daughter's aversion to seafood, to accommodating some last minute changes to our plans. I'm a skittish eater, but the food - both on the ship and in the ports - was delicious and fresh. While excursions were available everyday, it was perfectly fine to enjoy the sundeck or the lounge instead. The bar onboard was a little expensive, and you can't bring your own drinks onboard, but Marko's Special is now a new favorite! Our Explorer trip was blessed with a dynamite group of passengers from around the world, and we were able to connect and all have fun together - the small group size of the ship is conducive to that. Finally, a special shout-out to Klara, our Cruise Director (who didn't get the reference to Julie on the Love Boat). Klara was knowledgeable about how the ship works, what's available to do in the ports, where the good food is, and where to find hair products and bandaids!

We were very excited about this trip and the cruise did not disappoint! All the crew members and our tour guide were extremely accommodating, helpful, and made our stay extremely pleasant. We loved the mix of downtime on the boat and time spent exploring all the port cities. We were very excited about all the excursions and did quite a number of them. I highly recommend the bike ride, the blue caves tour, and the Krka national park. The swim stops were absolutely gorgeous each day. Our entire boat became an extended family by the end of the trip. We had a great trip in June 2025. We sailed from Split to Dubrovnik on the boat Tempera (an older vessel, built in 2014). Our cabin was on the lower deck. We did have a few issues with our cabin. When we checked in, one of the beds was not made up. This was not a major issue, as we made it up ourselves. Additionally, the toilet in our cabin was running, so we alerted the crew, who advised us to flush the toilet in a specific manner. This helped, but it did not solve the problem, as the toilet still ran intermittently. The TV in our room did not work. Upon speaking to other guests, this was a common issue. The main issue was that the cabin smelled like sewage one evening. We spoke to the crew, who mentioned that a tank needed to be emptied. They emptied the tank, but again, if they could have emptied the tank in advance to prevent this from occurring, it would have improved our experience. The crew was friendly, fun, and helpful. The itinerary was great, and we loved the swim stops.

It was my first time visiting Croatia and first time on this type of cruise. Both were incredible - the small Explorer cruise was a great way to explore the islands of Croatia. The sea and landscape in Croatia are stunning. Our tour guide, Vicko, was knowledgeable and friendly. I appreciated how honest he was about which excursions would give us the best experience, he never pushed us to book something unless he really thought we would enjoy it. (And all of his recommendations were spot on.) We traveled as a family with a broad age range, and the Explorer cruise was fun for everyone. If you can, I'd recommend spending a few days before or after the cruise visiting the cities, since we spent almost all of the time on the islands.

The cruise was incredible. I felt at home the second I got on the boat. The staff was so friendly and everyone on our boat was as well. The boat was incredibly clean and luxurious. I loved how we had time in the morning to relax and then the afternoon to do excursions and explore. It was the perfect balance. Our guide Vicko was amazing! He had so much information to share and was always honest with his recommendations about what he thought were the best things to do at each stop. We all got along so well and I feel we made lifelong friends! I would 100% do another Sail Croatia tour again!

We chose Sail Croatia Explorer Cruise on the Salve De Mare as our summer family vacation with our 20 and 24 year old children. It was the perfect mixture of relaxation, sight seeing, adventure, and exploring. Our travel rep, Vicko, was awesome. He was always leading the way with great advice and direction. The crew of the Salve de Mare went above and beyond to accommodate and ensure everyone had a good time. The food and drinks on board were diverse and delicious. This was an intimate cruise with only 33 passengers and 9 crew. We truly came as strangers and left as friends. I would highly recommend Sail Croatia and Salve de Mare. I really enjoyed sailing from Split to Dubrovnik on the Almissa. It's a lovely boat, with really nice, clean rooms and a great top deck to enjoy the views from. The crew were lovely, friendly and made the week fun. Our rep Vicko was fab - there didn't seem to be a thing about Croatia and the islands we visited he didn't know. The food was the definite highlight - we had very generous portions of delicious food. I loved it.

The intimate experience of a small ship was even better than we expected. You get to know the passengers and crew but also have time to spend on your own. The smaller ship allows for entry into smaller ports that you wouldn't get to experience on a large cruise line. Everything was great, from the cabin to the food, the swim stops, would honestly not have changed a thing. If you ever get the chance, I would highly recommend that everyone enjoy the Sail Croatia experience at least once!

I was initially undecided about doing a group sailing trip, but am very glad I did. Klara and the Almissa team did a fantastic job making sure we were looked after, fed, and entertained. The Stari Grad wine tasting and morning swim stops were the highlights. Klara went out of her way to ensure we knew exactly what was happening when, and you never felt it was a nuisance asking for help. There was a good mix of ages and mostly Australians, Kiwis & Americans in the group. Would recommend.

Our week aboard the Salve Di Mare with Sail Croatia was nothing short of amazing! Every stop was perfectly chosen, offering the ideal balance of rich history, relaxing coastal vibes, and absolutely stunning scenery. As the first cruise of the season, it was wonderfully peaceful — the towns were quiet but still full of charm, giving us a chance to enjoy Croatia without the usual crowds. The ship itself was stunning: modern, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The crew were incredibly helpful, friendly, and truly made us feel like part of one big family. Special mention goes to our guide, Anita, who was simply next-level amazing. Her passion and deep knowledge of Croatian history made every moment memorable. She went above and beyond to ensure we experienced the very best Croatia has to offer, and by the end, it felt like we had known her forever. If you're considering this trip, my one tip would be to fly/start in Split and fly/finish out of Dubrovnik with a few nights in each.

Rooms spacious, the excursions were well planned and brilliant. Our host Anita was friendly and very helpful. The sailing team were friendly and helpful. The food could have been better, the portions however were generous. Swim stops lovely. Would have liked the hot tub warmer when it was available to use. The team were very organised and gave us all the info on stops, timings and what to do at each port. It is a fantastic boat the captain and crew were exceptional!

The tour was a wonderful way to see some of Croatia, relax, and enjoy some outdoor and cultural activities. Ioana was a fantastic tour guide and the crew on the boat provided excellent service. The history tour in Split was very interesting, the wine tasting in Korcula was lovely, bike riding in Mljet and Makarska (private rental) was a great way to see the area, and going up the cable car in Dubrovnik provided amazing views of the city and coastline. I enjoyed the swim stops and the option to use the on-board paddle board and kayak, and the food onboard was delicious and plentiful. There was a good mix of down-time and activities/walking in the towns to keep things fun and interesting. We weren't able to do all of the excursions due to weather conditions, but it wasn't a big issue (and they were often quite pricey). I enjoyed seeing a number of different locations, while returning to the same room every night and getting to know the many wonderful people on the tour.

The trip was great for my restricted mobility. The railings on all walkways and stairwells made walking around the ship possible. The crew were always available to offer a helping hand or arm. One of the sailors - Mario - was exceptionally thoughtful. He carried my mobility scooter on and off the boat, storing and charging it overnight. He was sensitive to my fears, crossing from boat to boat, offering encouragement and praise, as well as physical help. Wonderful intuitive personal skills!

We travelled on the Katarina from Split return. It was so much fun and the scenery spectacular. If I had to suggest one thing that is a must I would say you need to book on the Katarina. It is a family run yacht and they honestly treat you like family. It was 5 star from start to finish.

My sister and I had a great trip on the Tempera ship. What more can I say about the amazing crew, the 5 star meals, the swim stops and the experiences that were set up by our hard-working, devoted ship activity director, Ioana. Bought the explorer sail package and it was absolutely perfect. Wake up, have breakfast buffet on board, the captain would drop us off for a swim stop (1-3 hours), then it’s a 3 course lunch, right as we finish our lunch we have arrived at our new destination. We then had the rest of the day to explore at our own pace or sign up for the additional excursions. It was the perfect balance of scheduled and free time. I can’t wait to go back to Croatia!

What a wonderful week on Tempra Explorer Cruise this week. The crew were extremely helpful and attentive. The chef was masterful in his approach to Croatian cuisine. Lovely presentations and always supremely delicious. Our Sail Croatia host Victor was such a positive influence. He is funny and very knowledgeable. Our cabin was easily large enough for 2 adults and good size bathroom and shower. Loved this cruise!

Loved my 7 day cruise on Almissa! Every day waking up to stunning Croatian islands, towns and cities was such a fantastic experience with options to do as much or little as you want. Almissa the boat was clean and well equipped to cater for all passengers. The cabin was spacious and comfortable and the crew including Dino the Cruise Director were fantastic! I would 100% recommend and if I'm ever over this side of the globe again, wouldn't hesitate to join another Sail Croatia cruise.

Sail Croatia was a very pleasant surprise, it really exceeded my expectations in many levels. Staff was extremely attentive and accommodating to every guest’s needs. Food and service were amazing. Ship was very clean. Different options were given every day for optional excursions. Ship schedule was perfect to enjoy every stop’s treasures and nightlife for those who wished. Ioana was our host and was always around to bring groups together and make everyone feel involved. I was traveling solo but never felt alone. We all felt like family by day 2. Fun laughs and memories to cherish forever. I would come back again and again!

Our passionate Sail Croatia guide Ivan was always there for us with recommendations for activities and food and local history at our Port stops . Our ship Salve Di Mare and crew were also amazing with at least one swim stop per day. Each swim stop the crew moored us in amongst the most stunning scenery and pristine water.

Tonka and Loana were great cruise leaders . They and the rest of the crew were very friendly and always available to answer questions and /or help in any way. They were also very flexible with regard to on-boat activities . The swim stops were beautiful and safe. The boat was steady .It was a wonderful way to explore the small islands along the Croatian coast. It was great that the bar was open to the wee hours. However, a more diverse cocktail menu is suggested.The wines were great. There were a few snags on the boat. E.g. intermittent unpleasant sulphur-like oder in the cabin. The cabin could use brighter lighting , especially in the bathroom. Also, I would suggest washable flooring in the cabins to make them less prone to mildew. The Sail Croatia experience was spectacular! I would do it again.

The whole Tempura team was amazing. The food, the service, the excursions… everything was top notch! As a solo traveler amongst all friends and couples, I felt like I was taken in as part of a big family! I still had my alone time when I needed it, but most of the time you could find me on the deck with the rest of the group, laughing hysterically or just taking in the breathtaking views. I would 100% recommend Sail Croatia, and I could see myself returning for another trip in the future!

For the price that you pay which is quite exorbitant I don’t think this experience lives up to the cost or the hype. While the crew and the staff on board as well as the guide are absolutely lovely and the service was great the boat is old, creaky and smelly.. The air-conditioning barely worked and people complained non-stop about the Aircon not working. There were no fans even on deck which are desperately needed to combat the unbearable European summer heat. Unfortunately it did not live up to the expectations and certainly not to the reviews I’ve seen on site. The boats need full renovations and need to be fully updated in order for them to be able to get a higher rating.

Our tour guide Ivana was exceptional - energetic, well organised and informative - she also took the time to get to know us all which in turn helped to bond the group - I boarded as a solo traveller but soon that was forgotten and friends were made. The boats facilities were excellent, modern, clean and fresh. We enjoyed delicious food, the crew were attentive and worked hard to make our trip enjoyable but were also so much fun. ! Highly recommended !!!

My kids and I planned our vacation with Sail Croatia and we were blown away. We have never been to that part of the world. We created some amazing family memories that we will cherish forever. This was my first solo trip. Sail Croatia was extremely helpful during the planning process. On the trip the staff were wonderful. I did the explorer cruise on Salve di Mare. The food was delicious. Everything!!! Tour, Crew, Food and Safety Achieved!!! Marija was such a beautiful person who was professional. She was informative, helpful and authentic in her dealings with people. A brilliant tour guide. All the grew members were fabulous and interacted professionally and authentically. You could feel their passion for Croatia and their care for their passengers. Our group of people all interacted and mixed well together.. The itinerary worked well for the 7 nights. Each island was unique in themselves. The swim stops were refreshing, fun, relaxing and enable people to socialise too I found the Tempera to be a great boat and I liked the layout. The top sun deck allowed you to socialise with chit chat, relax in the shade or get a suntan. The middle deck provided another area to socialised or unwind. I felt that the cabin I was in had a lot of room to move about and I enjoyed being above deck. The food was delicious!!!
