The tour guides were excellent! Very organized and friendly-always on time. Food was more than we expected and all very tasty. The crew were also engaging and communicated very well the plan for each day.

Fun holiday. Maybe 1/2 days too long. Alcohol on board very expensive. Breakfasts were very much the same each day. Felt leaders could have done more - like dinners out on town - to build comraderey. The Salve di Mare is a beautiful yacht. It does not have sails rigged, so "sailing" is a misnomer, but it was smooth and the food and atmosphere were lovely. The staff were very helpful. We enjoyed seeing the unspoiled islands as well as the busy, uniquely scenic cities of Dubrovnik and Split. The hikes were not too taxing. We would have liked to learn more about flora, fauna, and history along the way. The water is stunningly beautiful. The critique we have is that we were not told we might get portholes above our eye level, not windows, in the most expensive cabins (above deck). We would not have paid extra for these cabins, had we known.. I requested above-deck cabins because one of us is claustrophobic and the other needs to see the horizon to avoid seasickness. We could not see anything but the sky. Some guests did have cabins with windows. We booked quite early and did not know we might get stuck in a non-window cabin. It was disappointing to pay so much for no view.

The scenery of sailing along the islands off Croatia is nothing short of breathtaking. The only thing that surpasses the view from the ship are the views from the hikes along the glistening sea, cozy harbor coves, and distant islands. This cruise offers the perfect blend of activities, including good hikes, floating in the sea, and lounging in the sun. Our tour guides were knowledgeable and accommodating. They covered everything from the terrain to Croatia’s rich history and the best-kept food secrets of locals on the islands. The ship was well-maintained, the cabins were comfortable, and the food was delicious. It was a really good vacation.

I had a week on the Salve De Marie cruise ship. From the moment I stepped on the boat I knew it was going to be amazing. The boat was beautiful, It was very clean and all the staff went out of their way to ensure the trip I had with my nine friends was absolutely brilliant. Sasha the tour guide and Mate our walking/trek guide were fantastic! The food was out of this world and the ten members of crew were a great team. I would definitely do this again. Loved the kayak, paddle boarding and swim stops every day. Definitely a holiday to remember! Thank you!

Well organized, efficient, flexible, very helpful and friendly crew.. We had a great cook.. We did most of the hikes in the afternoon. I personally prefer to hike in the morning but when walking in the shade afternoons were ok. It was May so I did not try the AC. My only disappointment was the HOT TUB was not hot and almost as cold as the ocean in May. There was a TV but it did not work.. WIFI was excellent.

The crew aboard the Salve di Mare looked after us from start to finish with great attentivness and humour. The boat was beautiful and spacious and I loved watching the skillful captain bringing us in and out of port. Wonderful food- (how do they do that in such a small kitchen)?! And of course, the spectaclar scenery of Croatia- crystal clear waters, majestic mountains and the idyllic port villages and towns. And finally a special mention for our hiking guide, Mate and our customer care and everything else, Sasha. Both were excellent at their job and looked after us very well and with great humour, which I loved. A wonderful experience and great memories made.

This trip far exceeded our expectations. We knew the scenery and history along the Croatian Coastline was impressive but add to this a beautiful boat, wonderful crew and Sail Croatia reps and delicious food - what more could you want? We loved that you could find your own evening meal on shore and that you could join in the hiking or relax on board with a book. No pressure. I had the absolute pleasure of joining the Sail Croatia Hiking Cruise, and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that exceeded every expectation. Our guides, Lola and Natasha, were fantastic. They were extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of the islands, bringing each stop to life with fascinating stories and insights. On the hikes, they struck the perfect balance of encouragement and patience, never rushing us even when the trails became more challenging. Their energy and expertise made the journey both fun and rewarding. The onboard crew was equally impressive. The chef and waitstaff were top-notch—the meals were consistently delicious, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully prepared. They were also very accommodating with dietary needs, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I was also amazed by the skill of our captain. Watching him expertly navigate the waters and dock in the marinas was truly impressive And gave us complete confidence!!

I have just completed a dream holiday cruising the Dalmatian coast. The crew were very helpful and friendly, especially the amazing Mario! Our chef and sous chef were the best in the Adriatic - thanks for all the extra kilos Ivica and Antonio. Our hiking guides, Lola and Natasa, were efficient, caring and full of information. I was the red faced, sweat drenched hiker at the very back so I was especially grateful for Natasha’s support and patience! I will recommend this trip to everyone.

Sail Croatia is a perfect blend of sailing and hiking, there is also time on each island to explore the local area. Each day is a new adventure on a different island. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful . During our hikes we learn a little history of the island we were on. The food was amazing! I would highly recommend this tour group, they did a great job.

This was a return cruise for me and my friend, we sailed the Split return route in September 2021, with only 7 guests on board the Mali Ante. This year we were 31 guests and sailed from Dubrovnik on the Mali Luka. Everything about our trip was exceptional and we had a wonderful adventure. First time to Croatia, and was so completely captivated by the country, beauty, and people. This ship and crew gave us an experience like no other....took us to spots that take your breath away. We had a great group and we enjoyed each other's company in the adventures. Beautiful hike choices and Island locations. The Captain and his team were amazing and accommodated bad weather so that we still hiked and enjoyed the fair weather sailing. The food on Board was fantastic and Bruno was efficient and helpful. Our group would have preferred more swim time. Perhaps also, more time in Vis-maybe a second day there for more swim time, even worth losing one hike elsewhere. The hike to the Blaca Heritage monastery on Brac and the adventure was a lot of fun as well as a history lesson. We learned a lot!!! Blaca Heritage

From start to finish the trip was amazing. Well planned, stunning swim stops, interesting hikes and excellent guiding by our 2 leaders Mate and Sanja. Great itinerary The crew went out of their way to make our group feel welcome and as a result we all blended very well ( age 14 to 70) The cabins were comfortable, the boat spotlessly clean and meals very generous. It was my first time on a cruise and also my first time in Croatia. I was a bit nervous at first, but it turned out to be a lovely experience. I was surprised, however, that the age demographic was much older, and there wasn’t really anyone my age. I also expected the hiking to be more challenging, but it was quite slow and leisurely—which did suit some of the group. That said, the crew and tour guides were incredibly welcoming, and I really enjoyed meeting everyone on board. They did their best to make sure we had a great week in Croatia, and I’m thankful I took the risk and tried something new. Overall, it was a fun and memorable adventure!

My partner and I, along with family members and friends, took this trip. Great onboard atmosphere. The crew and dining service folks were great. Wonderful cuisine (always more than enough) provided by the onboard chef. The hikes were more challenging than I expected. I would like to have trained for hills, and tricky terrain in the heat. Our tour guides were very supportive, though. Would definitely recommend.

After travelling solo for several weeks this was a great way for me to explore the islands without having to organise anything myself. I had a great group of 20 fellow travellers, enjoyed lovely bays to swim off the boat and interesting hikes (at times challenging due to the heat) . The food served on board was excellent, and all of the crew were friendly, helpful and very professional. I really enjoyed my time on board the 'Mali Luka' and can understand why several people on my cruise had previously sailed with Sail Croatia.

We loved our adventure aboard the Salve di Mare and the time spent with new friends. The other passengers were easy to connect with and lots of fun. The crew worked seamlessly to keep the ship sparkling, anticipated our needs, and made everything look effortless and natural. Together they created a fun and relaxed environment. Tour manager Ioana was enthusiastic and upbeat. She ensured we understood the logistics for upcoming activities and provided alternatives for those who needed to skip a hike. Hike leader Mate shared his knowledge about Croatian culture and Island history. As an experienced local hiking guide with a background in Search and Rescue, we knew we were in good hands as he led us to beautiful vistas and interesting historic locations. Sail Croatia was informed of my food allergies in advance. The chef provided creative alternatives and the waitstaff made sure I received the right items. The entire cruise was top notch due to the exceptional staff!

I can't say enough about what a great trip this was! We were lucky to have just 8 people on the ship since it was early in the season. We all bonded immediately and had lots of fun and laughs (and are all still in touch). The highlight of our trip was our amazing hike guide, Andro, who led us on spectacular hikes and offered interesting information about the history and natural wonders of Croatia and each area where we hiked. I also have to give a shout out to Andrej, our delightful bartender/waiter, as well as the chef, captain, and two sailors. The hikes were challenging at times but definitely doable, and the reward was the incredible scenery of Croatia at every turn. I also really enjoyed out village lunch on Korcula. All in all, a really wonderful time in a truly beautiful country.

The small cruise experience was wonderful. We went into small ports that large cruise ships could not go and were able to explore many more fabulous destinations. The food on the ship was plentiful and top notch. The hiking tour was a good mixture of easy walks and challenging hikes. Our guides were well informed and a pleasure to spend time with. My only constructive feedback would be to better describe the terrain and required fitness level for some of the hikes because I feel they were too challenging for a few of our companions and it required that the more able hikers were spending their time assisting rather than enjoying the hike. Mila and Lola were great leaders and assistants. They went out of their way to regain my lost suitcase. Their planning, enthusiasm, knowledge and sense of humour made this first solo trip special. Our servers/ assistants were helpful and caring. All team members were respectful, and went out of their way to make sure that all sailors were happy. The crew, guides & boat were fabulous. The pictureques coastline & islands we visitied were asolutely amazing. A fun & engaging time was had with fellow travellers who were from Australia, Canada & USA. The onboard catering was excellent although not sure we needed dessert after every meal. A bowl of fresh fruit would have sufficed. As an Aussie coffee lover, the machine coffee & its cost made be worth some tweaking. A barista style coffee machine would be the only improvement I could recommend on our cruise.

Had the best time ever. I was a little nervous travelling on my own and about motion sickness but had the best time ever and have made friends for life. Our guides Anita and Mate were incredible. They made the whole experience memorable. I did the Hike and Cruise trip and it had the right amount of activity and relaxation. Anita and Mate briefed us on the hike each morning and safely took us and brought us back. They made great recommendations for other activities to do once we got back as well as dinner recommendations. We sailed on the Salve De Mare. The Captain and his crew were great. The cabins were very comfortable, and the lunches were incredible. Captain's dinner was also very good. If i had to say something negative cause everything can't be perfect, it would be, need better coffee on the boat! I would recommend this trip to anyone. The age range of our group was 52 to 72 and the hike was manageable by all.

The other guests made the cruise so sociable, I have belly laughed a lot! To be honest the whole experience was better than I could have imagined - there’s no doubt I’ll book again! Can’t wait to come back and explore Croatia more! Especially if we can have Lola and Ilona again, they really made the week special!
