This was my first European vacation and I couldn't have picked a more beautiful or enjoyable way to see Europe, especially Croatia. The trip was affordable, accommodations very comfortable, ship clean, food excellent. I enjoyed having a smaller ship. Staff was very accommodating. Marin and Anna did an excellent job organizing, communicating the day's events, continuing to text to keep us informed, and keeping us safe. I appreciated that the last day of the trip, our captain ensured we were not caught in the middle of the sea in the middle of a storm. Everyone ensured we could get our final rides in yet get into port in ample time prior to the storm. The first day was a bit confusing. Maybe a bit more time could have been spent explaining the ebikes and test riding more prior to going on the ride. Also, some of the ports had limited restaurants. Communication could have been a bit clearer that restaurants had limited seating. This was a most enjoyable trip. Thank you to the entire staff

This is my second Sail Croatia bike and sail. Again, it exceeded all my expectations! The staff and guides were excellent. Meals were exceptional! Loved the swim stops even though the water was a little cool in early June. Once you got in it was great.

Everyone in our group was thrilled with the crew and how they made our travel experience the very best. We loved visiting the Croatian Islands by ebike, and the guides were fantastic and very well organized. We were given a big, beautiful breakfast and lunch each day with a smile and delight. Touring the Croatian Islands on bikes was such a fantastic way to see the gorgeous landscape and historic towns. The e-bikes are what made this vacation so special because they allow everyone to enjoy the ride without too much exertion. I did not use one but I would recommend them for most people. Our tour guides were friendly, patient and knowledgeable. The food was (too) delicious as proven by my scale upon return. I can't stop telling everyone I know how much I enjoyed this trip!

The cycling, the crew, the food and the rest of the guests were all fabulous! We were on Classic bikes, which was challenging at times however that's what we wanted! Scenery was beautiful and every day brought more fun and enjoyment. Would definitely repeat the whole thing!!

We loved our time on board the Mali Ante. The crew and tour guides were very nice, helpful and fun to be around. The food was great. The excursions to the different islands were amazing. The islands are so beautiful. We loved everyone of them. The cycling was perfect for all of us - from beginner to advanced - we all handled it well. This is definitely the best of Croatia.

We have traveled all over and this was tge best vacation ever. Sail Croatia was so organized from start to finish. The boat, the crew, the meals and all the other guests....excellent! The bike rides were amazing and all the islands were so beautiful. We will be back!

The guides and boat staff made my 6 day cycling tour from Dubrovnik to Split on the Princess Diana exceptional. -Josk0 (Jay) was the lead for the cycling component and he was exceptional. Josko was always concerned about our safety and satisfaction of our rides. He worked closely with the captain to make needed adjustments to the cycling route as we had 2 days of rain. The rides were amazing. - Anita was also involved with the ride planning and execution and she was an absolute treasure. Very knowledgeable about the history of our locations helping us to learn and being the sweep on the cycling outings. - Violet was an amazing hostess overseeing the bar and food layout. She was a pleasure to have on the tour. The food was quite good - amazing what the chef was able to produce....from salads to deserts! The ship was a bit dated - needing a bit of a facelift to ensure wifi access, that all lights in rooms working, access to hot water for shower throughout the day/evening.

We had an incredible experience with Sail Croatia! The cycle guides (Andro and Lovre) and boat crew (Lucia, Valentina, and all cooks and staff) were helpful, attentive to detail, and made us all feel right at home in a new country. We had a few weather shifts that meant we had to pivot the original itinerary a bit and I couldn't be more impressed with how they made that feel seamless for us passengers. We enjoyed the daily cycling routes and the food provided on the boat was outstanding, too. My only feedback would be to provide swimming towels (those are a pain to pack, let's be honest) and shower soap in the bathrooms! Thank you for an amazing trip!

This was an awesome way to see the beautiful islands of Croatia by land and by sea. Not being an avid bike rider, I was skeptical about enjoying the rides. The e-bikes and wonderful guides (Borna and Marin) put me at ease and made this a truly unique and memorable vacation. We also very much appreciated the wonderful service from Marko and enjoyed the meals. If you are looking for a fancy boating experience, this isn’t for you. Accommodations are very basic and the boat lacks inviting spaces for relaxing. The biggest disappointment was the boat’s bar selection and not being stocked with what they normally would offer., since this was the last journey of the season for our boat, Ice was rarely available.

The Sail Croatia trip is small enough (about 30 people) to be personal. The organsiation has the experience to know what works for a group. We had 7 nights on board. We were cycling every day in a range of beautiful islands with time also to relax and explore the environment and local treats. The tour guides were friendly, organised and professional. It was fabulous having 7 nights without having to transfer accommodation as we hopped from island to island. We had fun with everyone on board and received fresh meals. At night we could eat locally on shore and there were options like wine tasting easily accessible to the boat. We had seven weeks holiday and this week was a highlight.

Everything about the e-cycling/sailing trip was a wow. The sights, the bike, the people, the food. It was all fantastic. Croatia is a stunning country-and very hilly. The e-bikes worked perfectly, for an occasional cycler, I had no problems and didn't mind the hills at all. We had some weather to contend with and the crew pivoted quickly and very professionally. Finding last minute ports, bike rides and great experiences and places to dine. We stayed above deck and would recommend that. Also got bike shorts and glad we did, we were comfy all week long. If you are thinking about this, just do it. It was an unforgettable experience.

Just a really great way to see coastal Croatia. The boat gave us a clean and comfortable base for bicycling. The roads were consistently hilly, but the e bikes were up to the task. I had mine on high power for most of the rides and never ran out of juice. We agreed that we might have handled the hills without e bikes, but it would have been way less fun! Our weather in October was cool for swimming, but worked well for biking, even though the Borro winds were blowing. The staff was professional, the on board food was delicious, and the villages we visited were clean and interesting.

We had an incredible week sailing and cycling from Dubrovnik to Split with Sail Croatia! The route was stunning, the e-biking experiences were well-organized, and the landscapes were unforgettable. The Sail Croatia team overall was professional and ensured everything ran smoothly — big thanks to the guides and crew who made the adventure memorable. That said, we felt the dining crew could have been a bit more friendly and approachable. While everything was handled efficiently, a warmer, more engaging attitude would have made mealtimes even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and a unique way to see the Croatian coast — highly recommend the tour, and we hope to see continued improvements in hospitality on board.

I really enjoyed our trip with Sail Croatia. We were clearly informed of the rides each day and Mario and Ivace worked to provide the best experience given the winds and weather. Staff were all very friendly and quick to respond to questions/issues with email prior to our departure. The bikes worked very well. Would recommend to others

We just finished our 8 day ride Sail Croatia trip & it was fabulous……on so many levels!. Firstly the staff were fantastic, They looked after us all superbly whether sailing our boat in rough seas, serving up endless delicious meals & keeping us safe on the bikes …….they were nothing short of superb. We loved our “active time” with Tonka & Ana, seeing the various villages & landscapes, hearing the history of Croatia & challenging our fitness levels & then some “down time” before exploring the villages. It was a great mix of activity & relaxation. From 2 very recreational riders we loved the cycling. And lastly, our group! We had sooo many laughs & it was special to connect with 28 “new friends” from all parts of the world. Thank you Sail Croatia “A” Team

Enjoyed this Sail and Cycle Croatia tour. The accommodation was good - surprisingly spacious, onboard meals excellent and boat staff and crew lovely. The Sail Croatia Cycle guides were exceptional- professional, knowledgeable, funny and warm! Each day, Island offered new and spectacular views and experiences. Only noteworthy, took this tour early October and the weather started to be cooler - tourist season in fact coming to a close.

Our trip started in Dubrovnik where we joined our Sail Croatia boat. Communication about the departure information was clear. We’d arrive a couple of days early to explore the Old city which was a good move as there’s plenty to see. We found it very clean and the locals friendly. A lot of cruise ships arrive into major cities which does lead to a lot of other tourists about. Once we joined our boat and sailed off to our first island with our friendly adventurers, calm resumed. Croatia is surprisingly mountainous but with most of us on sturdy e-bikes that wasn’t a problem. Five of the 32 guests were using regular bikes but all were strong cyclists and powered up the inclines. Cycling through olive groves and vineyards as well as through ancient villages was a real pleasure to complement grinding up a mountainous road to the lookout at the top. Early Oct weather was a little chilly but the sun shone several days and no rain. I did get a few mossie bites. Food on board was good.

The staff! Ivica and Sonja, our guides, were fabulous! I would give them 10 stars if I could!!!! Couldn’t have asked for better. Clearly they love their jobs and love people! They gave wonderful recommendations. Excursions they offered were amazing, being immersed in their culture. The food was excellent. Just trouble keeping food warm, which is understandable on a boat. Chef was top notch. Food allergies were handled nicely. Wait staff and sailor and other staff couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful. On the biking tours, I recommended that no photo taking while biking should be a strict rule. Very dangerous for biker taking photos as well as other bikers in the group!! Boat needed some updating. Cabins were clean but very small. We would totally book another tour, maybe on another bigger boat. Thank you to everyone who made our tour so wonderful!!

The trip was very well organized. We were updated daily on how the day would go and than also sent all the info on Whatsapp. Everything was above and beyond my expectations even though we had to change plans a few times. Our bike guide Marin was amazing. He is so very knowledgeable and made us feel very safe riding in some dangerous locations. It felt like We all respected him right from the moment we heard him speak. Ilona was the back guide and she is a sweet, caring girl who was always so helpful and supportive. She was always making sure everyone was doing ok and she was great to hang with the group and get to know everyone. This was a trip i won’t forget and i will definitely be recommending to friends.

We had an amazing time cycling and sailing on the Columbo! The captain and his crew were exceptional and strategic in getting us to each new port safely and efficiently allowing more time for cycling! The chef was amazing as was our two cycling guides!! Highly recommend!!

This was my first time in Croatia traveling with my husband and another couple from the US. The cruise was above and beyond my expectations. The food was outstanding. We had hot breakfasts and 3 courses for lunch every day. Our guides Jasco and Ana were both amazing. The bike rides were all well planned but there were some changes due to weather, which they improvised very well.. Both of the guides emphasized safety first . This was a great way to see Croatia and a few of the beautiful islands. I would highly recommend this cruise to someone looking for an active and fun vacation.

We had an excellent time on our 7 day Dubrovnik to Split bike tour. J and Anna, our bike guides, were kind, friendly, and helpful. Safety was always a priority on our rides. We had a few spicy weather days and J made accommodations to ensure both fun and safety. The servers on board were always cheerful and ready to please! Overall, our group of 4, had a great time and would recommend this tour.

This was a wonderful balance of exercise, educational experiences and relaxation. The guides were wonderful with providing an experience that was enjoyed by all and were able to adapt to the changing weather conditions and keep us informed. Our 14 year old enjoyed the trip too. The ride was harder than what we expected, but we enjoyed the challenge of the hills and there was an option to upgrade to the E-bike.

The crew of the Afrodita were excellent, helpful and friendly. Ivica, our cycling leader made us comfortable and well informed. Sonje, also with cycling group told great stories and had excellent knowledge of the history of our stops. The boat was clean. Island hopping was fun. The cabins were basic but met our needs. An extra pillow and blanket on each bed would be appreciated. It would really improve the comfort of the bed.

We enjoyed every aspect of our cycle/sail tour. Josko and Sanya, our guides, were top notch in every aspect. They kept us fully informed on our daily itinerary, were concerned for our safety and went the extra mile whenever necessary. The boat was lovely and exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed all the wonderfully prepared lunches and breakfasts. The e-bikes were high quality and allowed us see so much and navigate the hilly terrain with ease. Our bartender Poppy was funny, kind and a very hard worker. Despite some inclement weather and having to make travel changes, we did not feel that we missed out. Josko did everything he could to ensure a positive experience. Many thanks to everyone involved! It was an incredible experience!

An Unforgettable Adventure with Sail Croatia! We had an amazing time on our bike and sail cruise with Sail Croatia! Exploring the beautiful Croatian islands by both sea and bike was the perfect way to experience the stunning scenery, charming towns, and local culture. A huge thank you to our incredible guides, Marin and Josip. Their deep knowledge of each island’s history, along with their energy and enthusiasm, truly made the trip special. We just had a wonderful week with Sail Croatia’s biking trip. The captain and crew and the biking guides did so much to keep us feeling safe and confident in the cruising experience and with the bike routes and rides. Any anxiety I had about the trip was soon eliminated. The atmosphere was always positive. Staff were eager to help each individual have a good experience and provided help and information for each island. The whole trip was even better than I imagined it could be!

We loved every aspect of our Sail Croatia Trip. From the education and history of Croatia experienced from a boat and bike to the rooms, cuisine, and most importantly the wonderful crew we were blown away. It was a wonderful experience, even though I broke my wrist on the 2nd day of our bike ride. Sanja and Josko couldn’t have been more concerned and attentive. Sanja stayed with my sister and me all day, working as interpreter and support person. She navigated our day in Split getting us to ER and back to boat later that day. The whole team on the boat were excellent, they were supportive and fun to interact with. Last but not least were my fellow travelers, they were so much fun. Everyone got along well and we enjoyed everyone’s company. I hope to do the trip again, biking everyday.
