We were very well looked after by the crew and Lola our tour guide was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The boat was very well maintained and clean.

From Day one we knew this was going to be a great experience. Very welcoming staff, comfortable and roomy cabin. And the food was amazing. Our chief Dino was so helpful and gave us great advice on excursions. Out swim stops in the beautiful blue Adriatic were amazing. We have made life long friends and would highly recommend the Salve Di Mare.

Dino, our tour guide, was amazing!! From the start of our trip right through to our departure, he was on hand with advice and support. He was knowledgeable about each of the locations and offered salient information. The rest of the boat crew were extremely friendly but remained professional at all times. The cruise was absolutely outstanding. Having ready reviews we were expecting a tiny cabin however we were more than happy with the size of room and bathroom. The storage space was a really nice surprise. The daily routine of breakfast, time to relax, swim stop & then lunch onboard before next destination made for a very relaxing week. Being summer and the long days we had plenty of time to explore each destination we stopped at. Korcula & Stari Grad were favourite stops!

This was my first time to Croatia, and I am so glad that we used Sail Croatia. It was a great way to see some of the islands, and the explorer cruise was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxing. The crew were so lovely and helpful, and our tour manager Dino was responsive and offered great advice. I would recommend this cruise!

We had an amazing time on the Explorer Cruise with Sail Croatia. The Salve Di Mare crew were exceptional – friendly, welcoming, and made everyone feel like family. The cabins and boat were clean and comfortable and the food exceeded expectations. Captain Josef (on Almissa) always seemed calm and nimble in his decisions to give us the best cruising experiences, finding lovely sheltered swim spots. Dino was organised and a very good communicator as cruise director. There was the right mix of passengers and activities to satisfy our grown up children and ourselves. We loved so much about the week and are so thankful that we were able to participate on the Explorer Cruise. The ship, Almissa, crew, and tour manager, Dino, made sure that the passengers could experience the beauty of Croatia. The swim stops in the morning were some of our favorite moments of the day - peaceful, turquoise glimmering water! Having the option to do or not do excursions or to take recommendations make the trip customizable for each couple, family or group on board. I still can’t believe how lucky we were to have an experience like this!

The week with Sail Croatia was awesome. Lola was an amazing tour manager, she was well organised, a great communicator, very knowledgeable and friendly. The boat Salve di Mare was a beautiful ship, the rooms felt more spacious than I expected, which was great as I was travelling solo and sharing with another guest. The whole week was amazing, we spent the mornings swimming at various secluded swim stops, which I absolutely loved! The afternoons and evenings were for exploring the towns. Lola and the crew were excellent at planning our stops to ensure we arrived at the best time to avoid crowds if possible. For example we left early to get to the Blue Cave first thing to avoid the cues. I would definitely recommend sailing with Sail Croatia!

From start to finish: we had a fantastic week. All the crew, from captain to chefs, waiters, bar staff and the rep, all fantastic. The food was amazing, boat clean and comfortable and places visited excellent. Organised trips and meals out all optional, but we had a group that all joined it. Met some lovely people and would highly recommend.

We had the most fabulous time aboard Almissa! From start to finish, everything was brilliant. First of all, our guide Dino was absolutely fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help. Whether it was answering questions or recommending restaurants, excursions, he went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great experience. The rest of the crew were equally fantastic, professional and kind. The itinerary was great, and such a lovely way to discover beautiful Croatia. The swim stops were a definite highlight. The excursions we joined were fun and well organised. Almissa is a fantastic boat. Our cabin and bathroom were much more spacious and comfortable than we expected. The food on board was delicious. I asked for a dairy free diet and they were more than happy to accommodate. Finally, we had such a lovely group of people on board! It made the trip even more memorable. We would 100% recommend Sail Croatia. Thank you for an unforgettable holiday!

Recently travelled Split to Dubrovnik with Dino and the Almissa crew. I had the best time. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Honest advice about outings and recommendations for each stop - not to mention incredible swims along the way. We ended up one big family. 10/10 would recommend!!

I was invited to join a 20th anniversary celebration cruise on the Salve di mare for my first cruise experience. First off, the crew was amazing! Klara as our cruise director took care of all the details in such a warm, funny and efficient way — I loved her history lessons and honest recommendations for excursions, dining and shopping. Our waiters/bartenders Marco and Vlagho worked so hard and were such fun! The boat was luxurious and spotless, and the variety of common areas (dining area, covered lounge, forward deck and sun deck )meant you never felt crowded. The food was delicious . I loved the itinerary and ship’s size! We had a great full breakfast, swam off the boat in the morning, sailed to our island stop, had scrumptious 3- course lunches, and then on our own. Because there were only 37 of us, we easily made new friends with whom the we would go off for excursions and dinner. Perfect trip for a non-planner!

Croatia is absolutely stunning and I cannot imagine a better way to explore the Dalmatian coast. The trip was a perfect mix of relaxing and activities. The daily swim stops were so much fun, with opportunity to kayak and paddle board. The crew were amazing and so attentive and Callum the tour leader was exceptional. He gave amazing advice and recommendations of places to visit for meals, points of interest and gelato! I met some incredible people and made friends for life. Would 100% recommend to anyone thinking of doing this.

My Sail Croatia vacation was fabulous. Dino was our tour guide and he had excellent information for us every step of our journey. I am 75 and took my 18-yr old grandson, so he had a wide age range to cover. Bravo to Dino and the crew for making our trip such a memorable, fun time. I'm telling everyone I know to not only visit Croatia but use Sail Croatia for their travel plans. It was the best.

We had an absolute blast. We did the tour for my husbands 30th with some friends and the crew even baked a cake one day for him. The crew and Calum our guide were really great, always so helpful, organised, friendly and engaging. The cruise is a perfect blend of explore, swim, resting and reading and Ill recommend it to anyone. We were also privileged with great group of other travellers and made loads of new friends :) Thanks to Sail Croatia and Calum and his crew for a memorable holiday!

All crewmembers were absolutely amazing! From Dino, to Karlo, to Nikola and the Captain, they were all super professional and fun!! The itinerary was spot on for what we wanted to do and I really appreciate the professionalism of our Captain. We were docked next to another Sail Croatia boat at one point whose Captain was very disrespectful to the noise ordinance times and, in turn, the other boats around them. The only recommendation I have is to add lounge chairs to the top level, not just the mats. Absolutely beautiful and we had a great time!

We were on the Salve di Marei in June, We had an absolute blast with Klara and the entire crew! Communication was great, the excursions were a bunch of fun. The boat was spotless and so relaxing. Would highly recommend.

This is my second trip with Sail Croatia, I think that says enough on how amazing they are. Every single second was so beautiful, exciting, and enjoyable. Our tour guide, Lola, was so lovely and you can tell she wants you to enjoy your time and fall in love with not only Croatia itself but the people within it. The crew on Almissa was definitely the highlight of my trip. From the captain, to the sailors, chefs, and waiters, words cannot describe how magnificent they made this week. The food is delicious and full of flavor, the cabins feel cozy, and the boat makes you feel at home. If you can book with Almissa, I can promise you that you won’t regret it. I will be returning for a third time, specifically for the Almissa crew!!!

The staff of our boat, including Dino as the key organizer and communicator, created a unique, fun-filled, and memorable trip! There was structure, but also flexibility infused, and the overnights in the beautiful ports were helpful for each group to make the trip their own - exploring, eating, indulging, etc. Loved everything and would highly recommend!

The staff at Sail Croatia made us so comfortable - from immediately understanding and responding to my daughter's aversion to seafood, to accommodating some last minute changes to our plans. I'm a skittish eater, but the food - both on the ship and in the ports - was delicious and fresh. While excursions were available everyday, it was perfectly fine to enjoy the sundeck or the lounge instead. The bar onboard was a little expensive, and you can't bring your own drinks onboard, but Marko's Special is now a new favorite! Our Explorer trip was blessed with a dynamite group of passengers from around the world, and we were able to connect and all have fun together - the small group size of the ship is conducive to that. Finally, a special shout-out to Klara, our Cruise Director (who didn't get the reference to Julie on the Love Boat). Klara was knowledgeable about how the ship works, what's available to do in the ports, where the good food is, and where to find hair products and bandaids!

We were very excited about this trip and the cruise did not disappoint! All the crew members and our tour guide were extremely accommodating, helpful, and made our stay extremely pleasant. We loved the mix of downtime on the boat and time spent exploring all the port cities. We were very excited about all the excursions and did quite a number of them. I highly recommend the bike ride, the blue caves tour, and the Krka national park. The swim stops were absolutely gorgeous each day. Our entire boat became an extended family by the end of the trip. Highly recommend!

We are so pleased we chose Sail-Croatia and the Almissa. Captain Joseph is an excellent seaman, and his sailors are first-rate. Our guide, Klara, was hilarious and made sure there were no problems, only solutions. The ship staff made sure we never went hungry or thirsty. We especially loved the daily swims in secluded spots, We will be back!

hi! unfortunately, the experience didn't align with what i expected. a few examples... - we were on a sailboat chartered by a company named Sail Croatia, I expected we'd sail at some point. I was disappointed to learn upon boarding that the sails hadn't been raised in years. Instead, we awoke to a running engine every morning. - I expected lots of swimming and time in the water along the Croatian coast. Instead, swimming was limited to just an hour or two per day. - Because the boat didn't have a tinder, we couldn't pull up to beaches on those swim stops and could only exit the boat in larger port cities - Instead of offering hot breakfast for an hour and continental breakfast beyond that, passengers could only access food from 8am-9am and were told to snack on a banana if they missed that short window. the boat captain was wonderful and the crew exceptional,the itinerary and schedule were not.

We're however truly sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet your expectations. As per our website, our vessels are traditional-style sailboats and they primarily operate under engine power for reliability and scheduling purposes. That said, we do offer sailing holidays with our Private Yacht Tours. On these tours, you will use a dinghy to go ashore, to the beach and within secluded bays, so perhaps this was more the experience you were looking for rather than one of our cruises you had booked. In terms of swim stops and beach access, we aim to offer daily swim opportunities, where possible. The ships do need to keep to a schedule, and take into consideration sailing times, weather, port traffic and other activities planned, so the time guests have to swim from the ship does need to be limited. Once the ship arrives into port, the islands have many beaches and locations for swimming, so guests can go for a further swim if they choose to do so. As for the breakfast timing, we’re sorry you felt it was too limited. I will be sure to pass these comments onto our Operations Team in Croatia. Thank you again for your review Gina!
Wow wow wow! From the moment we were welcomed on board we were made to feel special by Vikco and the crew. Great cabins that had everything we needed; the breakfasts and lunches were fabulous! So many well-chosen beautiful islands we visited with opportunities to do some of the activities offered. On the relaxing days it was lovely to sit and relax on the most beautiful ship and go out later when we docked and enjoyed some lovely dinners at restaurants that had been recommended to us. We will have these beautiful memories forever and met some wonderful people it was one of the best trips we have been on. Everyone got on so well It was such fun and for us we travelled with our special friends who live in the UK and we are in Aus so a great catch up for us. Thank you and we hope to sail with you again!

What a memorable experience on the Princeza Diana Cruise. Fantastic food both in taste and freshness. Also, visually pleasing. Attentive customer service by the crew who made sure you knew it was never a bother to ask them for whatever you needed at any time of the day or night. Swim stops were the best! Ports of call were usually long enough to survey the town, go on a short adventure, and sit down to a lovely meal.

We had a great trip in June 2025. We sailed from Split to Dubrovnik on the boat Tempera (an older vessel, built in 2014). Our cabin was on the lower deck. We did have a few issues with our cabin. When we checked in, one of the beds was not made up. This was not a major issue, as we made it up ourselves. Additionally, the toilet in our cabin was running, so we alerted the crew, who advised us to flush the toilet in a specific manner. This helped, but it did not solve the problem, as the toilet still ran intermittently. The TV in our room did not work. Upon speaking to other guests, this was a common issue. The main issue was that the cabin smelled like sewage one evening. We spoke to the crew, who mentioned that a tank needed to be emptied. They emptied the tank, but again, if they could have emptied the tank in advance to prevent this from occurring, it would have improved our experience. The crew was friendly, fun, and helpful. The itinerary was great, and we loved the swim stops.
