Sailing on Salve Di Mare with Sail Croatia was truly one of the best vacations I have ever had. The scenes were picturesque, our tour manager was so knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone on board really made it a special experience where I feel like we are all bonded forever. The food on board was delicious and they always accommodated to any dietary restrictions. The service team were spectacular and very attentive. I can't wait for my next sailing with Sail Croatia!

My experience with Sail Croatia was nothing short of incredible. The ship was beautiful. The meals were delicious. The crew was friendly and our host Vicko was very accommodating. The bar/dining room staff were standouts as my group spent a lot of time there. Our room cleaner was also a standout. Between the daily swim stops and staying in a new place every night, this is an excellent way to visit Croatia.

My week aboard the Almissa was exciting, active and very memorable. I was a solo traveller but made friends very quickly with my fellow passengers and with the crew. All had stories to tell and I was happy to listen. I booked on the yoga cruise as I needed to sale on those dates. I did do yoga and aim to continue when my holidays are over. Prior to my holiday I hadn’t done yoga before. Dora the Yoga instructor and activities Manager led the class well. I fell asleep so relaxed after the first session. I loved swimming and chilling at the swim spots, enjoyed challenging myself by jumping off the 6metre high roof deck with the other dare devils and it was great when the captain and crew joined in for a swim or a jump over the side or a paddleboard. During one conversation with the captain, on the night of the ‘Captains Dinner’ we talked about the ongoing maintenance that is done during the off season to keep the Almissa looking so good. She looked spotless start to finish.

I don’t think I have enough kind words in my vocabulary to express the gratitude, appreciation, and the feeling overwhelming fulfillment after getting off your ship. First, Anita needs a promotion asap. Her love for her country, and her love for her job is so heartwarming, I can honestly say I have never met a more beautiful soul. Anita is AMAZING! Second, the crew was phenomenal. By the end of the week they felt like family. Lucy and Pamela were outstanding, as were the rest of the crew. We felt at home, we were welcomed warmly, and I couldn’t have expected a better week abroad. Total relaxation and stress free for 7 days. Thank you!

Travelled on Queen Jelena from Dubrovnik to Split. The Captain and his crew were wonderful! So professional and courteous. Service was impeccable, breakfasts and lunches were top notch. Chef and sous chef did a great job getting hot food out to all on board at the same time and the stewardesses never missed. Cabin attendant kept our towels fresh daily , sailors were terrific! Bane and Marko prepared sensational food throughout the trip, always beautifully presented, creative and full of flavour. Amazing voyage on the Salve di Mare. Hana (tour coordinator) and the crew of the Salve di Mare earned a 11 out of 10 for our group of eight trek through the islands down the Dalmatia coast. This ship is pristine. Bedrooms spacious. Super comfortable beds. The ports along the way, and unique swimming stops, take all the thinking out of this kind of week long trip. The extensive buffet breakfasts and multi course lunches will keep foodies very, very happy. The vessel was spotless the entire trip and more than exceeded our group's expectations. Hana is the most capable person I've ever experienced in my four decades of being on the road for work and is the ultimate logistics "fixer", making experienced suggestions every step you take and every knot you sail. You want drinks on the top of a castle, a party in a coastal cave, a quiet table for a seaside dinner, Hana delivered every request. The ship's crew quickly helped 31 strangers become part of their maritime family., thank you.

My friends and I had the most incredible week on Sail Croatia’s Almissa. The crew were incredibly passionate about Croatia and all had deep local connection, which seemed to be a huge point of difference from competing operators. The Tour Manager Sanja was an absolute professional. She was beaming with energy and positivity all week - articulate, approachable and genuinely cared. Nothing was too much trouble. Sanja is truly a genuine asset to your business. The itinerary on our Explorer trip blended the perfect combination of relaxation and swim stops with exploring the very best the Croatian coastline had to offer. The meals provided were all of a high quality - we were genuinely surprised with how tasty the meals were. What instantly struck us is how the crew treated us all like family and were incredibly helpful and warm. This fostered a really friendly, social atmosphere across the vessel. My only suggestions for improvement are the quality of the linen & towels-it felt very cheap.

The ship was beautiful, the swim stops incredible, the food fantastic, but it was the people who made this trip unforgettable. This holiday was amazing. I went with my friend and we had the best of times and I’m sure if I went solo I would have had an equal amount of fun!! Whilst we were the youngest on the cruise, it didn’t matter, everyone on board had a great energy and our rep Viko brought everyone together. He was amazing. The excursions were also amazing with Viko letting us know honest opinions of them whilst using banter along the way. The Canyoning in Makarska was definitely a highlight. Just be prepared to pay a lot more than what the ship cost. The wifi was pretty slow and crap but we spent lots of time together and at the swim spots it didn’t really matter in the day and there was a decent amount of service from the ports at night.

My friend and I (50s) had a wonderful time on a 7 day cruise on the Almissa (Explorer Cruise). Our Sail Croatia tour leader Hana was a major part of making the entire experience so great. She took care of all logistics and communicated very well. The rest of the crew was amazing as well. The food was delicious and the bartenders were so cool. Everyone was friendly and willing to go the extra mile. The best part was probably the extended daily swim stops. If you are thinking of seeing Croatia by sea - Sail Croatia is the way to go. Remember the navigator is for younger party crowd, explorer is for people seeking activities and excursions and elegance is for the less active travelers. Highly recommend and try to find what ship Hana is leading.

One of, if not the best vacation I have had. Very service minded crew. The boat was great. Best part for me was the sosial aspect. Got to know the other guests and crew. In addition I felt like I could relax with a good consciousness. Didn’t feel like I missed out when I was relaxing on deck while the boat was sailing to a new dock. Then when we docked I could do excursions, chill some more, go to the beach or explore a city. Highly recommend. Was perfect!

We sailed on the Almissa for my sister in laws 60th birthday. We had the most amazing trip! Captain Joseph was the most amazing captain! He was so friendly and genuinely loved sailing his ship. He found the most outstanding swim spots. He truly enjoyed talking to all his passengers. Our bartenders Cezar and Kufca were so fun and so personable!! They knew all our names by the end of the first day! The food was really very good. We had breakfast and lunch everyday on the boat! The sailors were outstanding as well! The star of the show was Hana! We all absolutely fell in love with our ships director(not sure the actual term). But Hana was soooo lovely! We were informed every day with the schedule of events. She sent us restaurant recommendations and made us reservations if we needed. Everyday she gave us a presentation of what we would see on our next stop. She planned a birthday dinner including cake. But most of all she took the time to get to know every one of us! We loved her!

About 18 months ago, I saw Sail Croatia on Instagram and quickly showed it to my wife. With her blessing, I reached out and booked our trip. We quickly told friends about it and were a total of six when we boarded the Almissa. Simply stated, the trip was amazing. Our captain, our crew, and our bartenders (Cezar and Kafka) were the best. Always there for anything we needed, and always with a smile. Everything you see on the cruise is beautiful but the service on the Almissa took it over the top. Each day you leave a location, eat wonderful food on the boat, have a swim stop, and end up in a new location. The food was excellent. I am a picky eater and loved everything. The swim stops are so beautiful that we all agreed that pictures were not doing them justice. The size of the ship allows for smaller ports and takes you to places you likely would not see otherwise. I cannot recommend this cruise enough. It was a highlight of not just this trip, but all the trips we have taken.

They all went the extra mile to make sure we were accommodated. The ship had just been renovated, and it was definitely and it was very nice. Rooms and bathrooms were very spacious. 6 of us sailed on the Almissa the first week of July. Right from the start we were greeted with friendly staff members who met all of our needs and answered all of our questions. Hana was our guide/host for the week and she was amazing. She always checked in on passengers daily asking them what they had done the day before and what the plans were. She gave us a play by play of what to expect each day and answered questions and gave suggestions in a timely manner. She was outstanding. The boat was extremely clean and was big enough for all thirty plus passengers to find space if needed. The staff was friendly and assisted whenever needed. The food was also the best food I have had on the trip - even better than the restaurants. The pace of the trip was great. The only reason I did not give five stars, is that I wish drinks were included in the price or that a drink package could be bought. I would definitely suggest bringing snacks on board as they were not provided throughout.

I was apprehensive about travelling solo but needn't have been concerned. From start to finish this holiday exceeded my expectations. From the fantastic ship itself to the onboard crew, all operated like clockwork but with a very relaxed and flexible vibe all week. Sasa, our tour manager, had fantastic knowledge of each island we visited and kept us updated with the plans on each day via WhatsApp. The islands visited were amazing & the sailing and swim stops during the day were just so relaxing. The food onboard made by our chefs, Bojan and Zodojka was outstanding. Our two waiters Marco and Vlaho were also amazing and funny and went above and beyond. My cabin was super cool & very quiet each night (lower deck) and was thoroughly cleaned by Julia each day. I haven't slept so well in years! If you want to join others for chats and fun then you can, if you want to be on your own & relax, then you can - no pressure, just do what you want. I did a bit of both.

The 7 day cruise spent on Salve di Mare was nothing but first class. We had great service, relaxed atmosphere and immersive destination access. Our cruise director Matilda provided excellent info about each destination & organised side tours at each destination. Marko and Vlaho ran a very professional bar and dining service from early in the morning till late at night. These two were very warm and welcoming and shared there knowledge and promoted fun and laughter amongst the guests. The maid Julija did a wonderful job keeping rooms clean as well as the ship. The kitchen staff Bojan & Fani prepared delicious meals. The crew led by Capt Frane with sailors Fadil and Richard were very professional and skilled especially when mooring the ship in tricky weather and space. The beauty of this ship was its ability to reach smaller locations that provided a more local vibe that large cruise ships cannot reach. The whole 7 days was very relaxed and felt uncrowded on board. Brilliant , Lauren was fantastic. The crew were awesome! We had a good blend of people on the boat, from all over the world. Food was good and the places where we went were absolutely beautiful. The only complaint I have was the bed and sheets were a little short for me I am 6’2” I didn’t like the fact we had to “pay in cash” for the bar tab and local taxes at the end of the trip.

I was super impressed with Sail Croatia, From the skipper, all the crew, our awesome English guide, Lauren, the facilities and all the stunning islands. Lauren gave us story time every day about the island we were visiting including its history and activity options. She was always available for information and recommendations. She really made the tour exceptional. The food that came out of such a tiny ships galley was also really impressive and the guys serving us ( Caesar and Kofta) were also awesome. I really can't fault the cruises. I went as a solo traveller and the friendship you make in the boat were a big part of the success of those cruise. I was in a below deck room which was also fantastic considering the space constraints on a small cruise, it was perfect.

Marko & Vlaho mastered the balance of polished bartenders and friends, with perfect prosecco pours flowing late into the evening, then back up early each morning serving breakfast without missing a beat. Chef Bojan & sous chef Fani prepared incredible meals daily - I’m still thinking about the stuffed tomato starter. Captain Frane’s Dinner was a highlight, especially once the impromptu conga line pulled in sailors Fadil & Richard! The Salve di Mare itself is stunning; sleek, modern, impeccably clean thanks to Julija, and clearly built with pride and craftsmanship. Every port was beautiful, but some of my favorite moments were simply onboard laughing and lounging with everyone aboard.

Amazing trip lead by a very fun and knowledgeable tour guide Lauren. The bar staff Kafka and Caesar were fun and easily approachable who added to the enjoyment of this trip. For those in the low to mid 30s debating whether to do the explorer or navigator, definitely give explorer a go as you will find like minded individuals who are willing to have fun and make the trip one to remember

This was by far the best vacation I have ever taken. We were on the MS Almissa with our amazing crew (Marin, Caesar, and Kafka) for 7 days and they could not have made the experience any better. By the end of the trip we had made so many new friends, including the crew. The destinations were amazing and Marin, our tour manager, gave us so many great recommendations in each stop. We spend most nights out on the town, but the post-dinner hang outs on the boat with new friends are some of the most memorable of the whole trip. Happy to be leaving the trip with new friends (including our amazing crew).

Croatia proved a wonderful place to visit but it was the on board experiences that made this holiday great. Firstly Dino was a great cruise organiser and entertainment provider. He was always to hand with advice and assistance. He was engaging and shared many stories with great humour. Dino truly drove our experience and I can’t recommend him highly enough. The crew were very good as well, Cesar and Christina’s hospitality and good humour made our dining and beverage experience easy and fun. The food was excellent on the whole. On our recently completed trip from Dabrovnic to Split for 7 days, Although the "Tempera" ship requires some strong maintenance repairs and surface repairs, the experience beyond that was incredible for a first time cruise guest on that size and style of a ship. Our Cruise Manager Sasha was the most friendly, knowledgeable management team member that leads the way in customer relations and makes all guests feel like a family member. The Captain and crew provide a constant team effort of providing services of any nature while at sea or when at dock daily. We were fortunate to have a dining room / bar drink service leader in "Max", his efforts exemplify professionalism customer service. The most valuable aspect of this specific cruise trip was the personal relationships built in a very short order of time (from day 1) of the other guests. This size of a ship and the areas of common use created an experience like no other, for the friendships that were created, we thank you.

I recently booked a Sail Croatia tour with friends and had the most wonderful experience. The boat itself was one of the older boats, but very comfortable and met all our needs. I cannot say enough about the friendly staff. They were all so very accommodating to us and never hesitated to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The chef on board was also very kind and worked hard to make sure we had plenty of great food to eat. There were plenty of fun excursions to keep everyone busy on the cruise including wine tastings, swimming, hikes, and my favorite...the dune buggies. One of the more unexpected aspects of the trip for me was the wonderful people we met on board our boat. We made some incredibly friendships and were extended invitations to our newfound friend's countries as well. I have no doubt we will keep up with these lovely people we met. I would highly recommend booking a cruise with Sail Croatia...Five Stars!

The service staff was as friendly, efficient and as sweet as could be. Our tour director, Dino, was always there for us and provided great tips on what to do (and not to do) at each port of call. The kitchen chef and his/her team did an incredible job in terms of taste and presentation of each meal. Everything happened as programmed. And the places we visited were magnificent. Fellow travelers, mostly from Australia on my particular cruise, was the icing on the cake. A great bunch! The whole process of research, booking and payment with Sail Croatia and staff was easy and problem free. The staff made sure all details were covered and our traveling friends were all grouped together on the same boat. The the arrival day and first impression was our week long host Dino. He was a fantastic first impression and just got better as the week continued. Dino set up any activity you wanted and made sure his people had the best seats and service. At one activity the venue seated part of our group in the sun. Dino spoke to the venue and had everyone in his group moved to seats in the shade. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left nothing was too much trouble for the crew and guides. Everything was explained to us for the next day and again on the morning. The food was good and plentiful. The cabins are small but you aren't in them that often so you can live with that. Small observation by all my group was that it would have been good to be able to buy snacks along with drinks eg crisps, nuts etc as we were advised we could not bring any food on board. Loved it all!

We were a group of friends (8) who joined Sail Croatia for the Dubrovnik to Split 7 day cruise. The cabins were comfortable, the bathroom more spacious than the normal cruise ship. With only 40 people onboard I was concerned that we would be in each others pockets. There is more than enough space onboard to ensure you can read a book quietly if you want. The staff on our cruise (Salve de Mere) were supurb, from the maid throufg to the Captain, we were all in excellent hands. I loved the fact that we docked in small ports each night so we could enjoy local restaurants and bars. Each morning we stopped for a swim...as it was late season a few of us decamped to the jaquizzi where we had pre lunch cocktails...great fun! Each afternoon we were given options of excursions we could take, from walking and exploring, to bike rides and wine tasting. I would probably give the Buggies a miss as you travel in convoy at about 20kms per hour...very boring and a waste of money..

We researched well and glad we did - it was well worth it. We selected the Katarina with Sail Croatia. The booking process was simple and efficient. We had the assurance the vessel we selected would be the one we sailed on. To our pleasant surprise, the vessel and crew exceeded our high expectations. Overall, between bareboat charter and cruise ships, this is the right size boat, right size crew and right size of guests. What an amazing trip. Our group of four couples chose Sail Croatia due to its unique vessel size (16-20 cabins) and itinerary. Our expectations were exceeded by Vicko, the Sail Croatia representative on the trip, as he made sure all of our problems were solved, and we had an amazing trip - he is one of a kind and absolutely the Croation fixer! The crew of the Salve di Mare was fantastic. The boat was clean, the room sizes were surprisingly large, and they all worked to make sure we had everything we needed - plus great food and drink. Make sure to take opportunities to go off the beaten path - find unique experiences and take advantage of the ones the Sail Croatia team provides where it suits your interests. We were able to discover so much - we ate a fish the owner of a restaurant speared that morning and cleaned on the dock. We took a rowboat to a monastery on an island. We climbed a mountain (ok hill) overlooking a beautiful town on the Adriatic. Take this trip!

This review speaks specifically about the KATARINA and it's crew. Hardly anyone on our trip (we had the entire boat) had experience with island hopping in this region, or with Sail Croatia. After a few days of being on the boat, and seeing other boats, crews and visitors in various ports, we knew that somehow we hit the lottery. You can always find something that could have gone better on a trip, but I am struggling to. The boat was newer, very clean, very well maintained and the captain and crew were amazing. All travel related aspects of the trip were explained by the captain personally, and he even offered tours of the engine room and bridge. The servers/bartenders were very efficient and best if all, intuitive. The maid service worked around passenger movements/activities.

Whole trip was excellent. Boat was clean and well maintained. The crew of the boat were first class, very friendly and always went out of their way to help. The sail Croatia guide was excellent. Good recommendations and clear communication about activities and the itinerary. All the swim stops and harbour stops were great. Everywhere we stopped had great things to see/do. We didn't do loads of the excursions but they had plenty of choices and those we did were great. Food on the boat was delicious, varied and plentiful, couldn't have asked for much more.

I took the trip with a friend, leaving and returning to Split in August 2024 on the Mali Ante. The whole went very well. The ship itself was great, clean, well-managed and crew were great. Split and Dubrovnik were inevitably crowded, but the other stops were really enjoyable. At around 35° the cabin remained perfectly cool. Overall I can find nothing which could have been better, I would full recommend.

The boat, the crew is unbelievable, sailed on Almissa 6 years ago, it was so good we did it again. The cruise was just how remembered it, so much fun and so much to see and do. Every meal on Almissa was on point, would recommend Almissa to anyone.

Firstly, the crew were a huge highlight of the week long sailing up the Croatian coastline on the Adriatic Sea. They were warm and welcoming, energetic, professional and made every effort to make my stay a memorable one. I cannot speak more highly of their efforts to make this week of sailing relaxing and enjoyable, leaving me with no other option but to book again for next year! Secondly. The Tempera was a beautiful ship, exceeding my expectations. Spacious rooms, large deck area for relaxing and gathering together and first class cuisine. The food was amazing! You certainly won’t be hungry! Thirdly, the destinations they chose to stop, not only in port, but also for swim stops were breathtaking. For my first cruise ship experience, this once is going to be hard to beat. Once again, thank you to the crew, our knowledge and welcoming tour leader and Sail Croatia for making my first time in Croatia one I will not forget!!

The crew! Anita, Nicolina & Erol were brilliant, They worked so hard. The Captain & his team kept the boat moving and immaculate and the cooks provided us with so much food but our daily interaction with the "front of house" team was lovely. Anita kept us informed about our visits and was such a friendly and helpful leader. Nicolina & Erol were just great and kept us well "watered". We were so well looked after.

Everything about this trip was super fun and easy. The boat - Tempera was more comfortable then I expected. I stayed below deck and the cabin was cool and quiet. The shower was honestly big enough for 2 people! Lots of common space outside the cabin to find some quiet time or mingle. The crew - Friendly, competent, attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Our Sail Croatia rep onboard was knowledgeable, personable and well organised. The food - breakfasts and lunches exceeded my expectations. The itinerary - the Explorer trip suited me perfectly. There was as much or as little as I wanted to do. Every day was the same but different - wakeup, breakfast, swim, lunch while motoring to new town, explore new town in the afternoon (with activities if desired), dinner and party... Also a shout out to my 30 shipmates. This type of holiday encourages mixing with other guests, but it never felt forced. Would do this trip again :)

Had such a great time on Sail Croatia. I was so lucky that the group of 30 people were fantastic to travel with, kind, warm and very sociable - all ages all fantastic. Our nights where we were all together were definitely the best. Ivana our host did an amazing job, she was really friendly, professional and informative but most of all reallt authetic - a great representative for Sail Croatia. Nikolina and Errol the other front of house staff were exceptional and continually went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The 3 staff were stars, thank you.

Sail Croatia was an outstanding experience. The ship was clean and comfortable, the captain and his team were outstanding, and we had an outstanding itinerary that went from Split to Dubrovnik. In between, we stopped at several islands - including Vis, Havar, and Korčula to enjoy this beautiful country. The food was good, it was plentiful, and the daily swim stops were outstanding. What made this extra special was the wonderful crew.

An amazing week and excelled my expectations on all levels. Great group of people on board both the team and guests with a great relaxed vibe throughout. Karla our guide was absolute amazing, extremely down to earth, approachable with a positive attitude that reflects in her passion for the job and she is truly an asset to the business. From the outset the trip was outstanding! I think what made it even more special/better is we had the entire ship with 30 of our lifelong friends and family. Perhaps all ships are operated similarly, but ours was a family run operation so there was just a great dynamic among all. Extremely pleasant and accommodating at all times. Truly they were like ninjas always in the shadows working and cleaning keeping the ship spotless all the while ensuring every whim and desire was fulfilled. (Bonus: shower water pressure was great!) Our cruise director Klara was splendid, knowledgeable af and always giving us great guidance on the variety of excursions at each port, the ATMs for better currency exchange along with the best restaurant, clubs and bars to frequent. She was fun and energetic and would join us as well as help expedite, if necessary. An absolute memorable 5-Star once in a lifetime (maybe 2 or 3x ;) ) trip. When you get to Split or return Mistral Beach Club is a MUST! !Cheers

I booked the entire ship of 18 cabins and then filled them with family and friends from all over the US. It felt like summer camp. Every morning at breakfast you had the 'early birds" followed by the "hungover last minute crowd". We ranged in age from 19 to 62, and had a blast. The excursions were fun and very different from stop to stop. The staff was outstanding and really only had to go to one person, and not manage 18 personalities. Our cruise director Klara was the best. I would go again.

We had a very amicable, enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide on a very comfortable boat (Salve di Mare). Nickos delivered good local information and history of our destinations throughout the trip. The destinations were good (though very busy with other tourists, though we had to expect that) weather quite warm (hotter as the days went on) so swim stops were enjoyed. The crew were also very good, efficient and helpful And we also had a like group of fellow travellers all out to have a good time with whatever the day brought. The ship was fantastic. Great food and plenty of space to relax, The itinerary was great. We moved between interesting ports and had plenty of swim stops. The tours were ace, especially the buggies on Korcula. Would definitely recommend this to everyone.

Lola was outstanding. She was very professional and handled everything perfectly. The crew was great. Worked very hard to keep everything running nicely. The boat was always perfectly clean and tidy. The food was terrific. The boat was very nice and clearly very well cared for. A couple of the excursions could have been better, but Lola did a nice job of making the best of it. For example: On the buggy ride, one of the buggies wasn’t working when we were ready to return from the beach and blocked 3 of us in. The buggy operators left us and we were stranded with little idea of how to get back to the boat. But thank you to Lola for addressing the problem with the operators to everyone’s satisfaction. .

First up, Ana, our guide, was top notch and probably the best guide I've had on any trip. She provided comprehensive maps at each stop of good restaurants, museums, attractions and bars, carried herself very professionally, and was always polite and informative. She is an asset for Sail Croatia. The staff, were also brilliant. Particularly Branko on the bar. You want your bar staff to be funny, eccentric and great to have a conversation with, and Branko exceeded expectations on all three! The food was also impeccable. The Explorer cruise was also a very good crowd. Perhaps slightly older and more couples than I expected, but it suited me well. The only parts where Sail Croatia fell short for me was some of the experiences. Not having an alternative option instead of rafting (which was unavailable in Makarska on my trip) was disappointing. Even a short walk along the Cetina would have been OK. The Korcula buggy tour was also short and expensive for what it was.

The Explorer cruise was the perfect balance of sightseeing, relaxing and fun activities, all in a social setting with the option for some alone time. Not being the party animal I was in my 20s and having more of a disire to see the scenary and learn the history of a place, this tour was perfect. We still had the odd party and was nice and social but traded the thumping music of night clubs for jazz music on beautiful beach front restaurant. The crew and the boat was fantastic, the trip was well planned with plenty of options and flexibility to work around the weather and the best destinations. All up a fantastic week, the highlight of my 2 months abroud so far.

Wasn’t the cruise I planned from start, that was booked up. Was suggested Salve de Mare and so happy I did. From start to finish everything went better then expected. The ship and especially her crew we’re just a great friendly caring bunch on and off the ship. Klara our rep was just wonderful, organised some great tours, hung out with us day and nights, an infectious laugh that can’t be forgotten. Booked based on Explorer being best suited for couples, young professionals and 'young at heart' travellers. Didn’t expect at 44, to be the second youngest guest, with the majority being 70s. The boat was fine, the bedroom smelled a bit damp and there were broken fixtures in the bathroom. The crew were great, and very friendly. Disappointed the sundeck bar / bbq area wasn’t used. Also, the ‘€25 bbq’ which was cooked in the oven was a poor offering, and unsurprisingly didn’t go ahead. All in all, I had a great time, but had I have been much younger, would’ve been disappointed with so many older guests.

Katarina is an amazing ship, Very luxurious. Ivan (The Captain) and his crew were very knowledgably, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our experience that much more special. The food aboard Katarina is amazing and the service is no different. Stjepan our leader was very well spoken, humorous, and full of knowledge of his country. You could tell he has a real passion for his history and taking care of his group. Would definitely go again!!

Had the most amazing week in Croatia aboard the Almissa. The boat was clean and very comfortable, and all the staff were amazing from the sailors to Tina and Rocco behind the bar and our representative Vicko. I only had slight issues falling asleep the first couple of nights as the boat was a bit louder than expected but I got used to it during the trip. The provided breakfasts and lunches were also very tasty with very generous portions but I will say maybe a different brand of coffee or machine as the coffee wasn't the best. Thankyou again for the amazing week, can't wait to come back!

We sailed on 12th -19th August with Sail Croatia Explorer Tour. The set up of the boat was ideal with good sized en-suite cabins, shaded & sunny decks and nice bar & dining area. The crew were friendly, efficient and professional in their approach and Vicko or representative was extremely knowledgeable and welcoming to all on board. The daily itineraries were fully explained with the options and costs clearly articulated. The sailing between the islands was lovely and the swim stops each morning were absolutely idyllic. Each afternoon there was the option to wander about the town where the boat was harboured or to take part in an excursion. The whole week was a truly wonderful holiday experience with the other guests and crew gelling well together making the trip enjoyable and fun. Fantastic vacation and one that I’d like to do again.

Other than the beautiful Croatia coastline and landscape, the thing that made this group so amazing was the crew on board. Ivana was OUTSTANDING! She made sure we all knew the timing of meals, swim stops, excursions, dinners, etc. Her lunchtime presentations were a very efficient way to make sure we knew what to expect. The bartenders, deck hands, cooks, and captain were all very personable and also made the trip amazing. I can't recommend this trip enough and am looking forward to doing another in the future!

The entire experience was tremendous. We made some wonderful new friends, explored some amazing places, people, and history. We swam every day in beautiful waters, and ate some great food on and off the ship. Klara, our guide extraordinaire, was fantastic at communicating each day's activities, giving us a little history on each town/island we visited, and clearly enjoys people and helping them have a great experience. And what a crew had! They helped us feel welcome, relaxed, and safe. Captain Mate always greeted me with a smile, and his crew, Nikola and Pero worked tirelessly to keep the boat safe and clean. Chefs Zoran and Snjezana cooked up some tasty food and made special efforts for the vegetarian friends in our group. And waiters/bar tenders Erol and Marko were amazingly attentive from early in the morning until very late at night. This was without a doubt, the trip of a lifetime!

Perfect 80 degree weather, beautiful cities at every stop, great food and drinks on the boat and in towns, and a super-friendly staff that went out of their way to make sure we were having a good time. As an example, our airline lost our luggage on the way there, but the cruise director coordinated its delivery to one of our port stops for us, and the Captain - yes the Captain took me in to town to get it The excursions were also very flexible - we didn't have to commit until the day before or sometimes even last minute was ok. I can't wait to do it again.

14 of us sailed from Split to Dubrovnik on the Tempera during the last week of June 2023. Everything about the trip exceeded our expectations, from the en-suite and ac cabins to the food, the amazing swim stops, the highly entertaining Captain Dennis. the helpful crew and the superb rep Nina. Our group was boisterous at times, but Nina and the crew handled it superbly. Our excursions ( the wine trip and the buggies) were great, and we had lots of laughs at the Captain's dinner. Our typical routine was to have breakfast, then a beautiful swim stop ( take beach towels), a lazy lunch on board and then go exploring on shore, followed by a late dinner and perhaps some karaoke back at the ship. Take lots of swim stuff, mosquito repellant, and suntan lotion. What really made the trip special was Nina, our Sail Croatia rep ( and future pop star) who went out of her way to describe each new stop, to help with bookings and generally was just an awesome person to be around. We will be back!

Everyone on the Almissa made our trip amazing! Klara was the most incredible host, and always made things fun while keeping us informed. Roko and Matea helped us with everything we needed to keep sipping bevs and staying fed the whole time. The chef turned out amazing food that kept our entire group happy. The Captain along with Ceasar and Ivan made sure we got our favorite daily swims in the most breathtaking locations. The entire crew effortlessly made us feel right at home aboard the Almissa. We were all delighted with this beautiful boat and the comfortable cabins. This trip was truly a dream. The perfect itinerary with perfectly timed stops in all the right spots, it's the only way to see Coastal Croatia. All staff, Klara, the host, Roko and Matea, the hospitality crew , as well as Caesar the sailing crew and the captain were professional flexible, considerate and positive in making sure everything ran smoothly. Sadly we had trouble with an awful sewage smell in our room . This was attended to with genuine compassion and urgency. Croatia is a great country to visit by boat. The towns and coves were outstanding. Thank you especially to Roko, Matea and Klara - best of luck in your careers. An honour to share time with you. If I never see you again ‘ have a good life

the organization of everything from the breakfasts to swim breaks to lunches to the outings and all in a different location every day the staff was stellar, attentive, caring and fun also the mix of clientele was from 20 yr olds to 60+ and everyone was fantastic, a whole bunch of like minded ppl from all over the world in all different age groups, having a blast together

We enjoyed our week on the water making new friends and seeing some beautiful Croatian towns. Our room was comfortable and all activities and meals on time. Ioana was very approachable and responded to all requests. Great company and staff. Thanks for a fun and relaxing week.

Such a great way to explore Croatia, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The cabins were nice considering your on a boat. Our host Ioana was extremely knowledgeable and friendly which made the experience that much better! Sometimes I wish we had spent two nights at some of the bigger destinations like Havr but otherwise great experience! the excursions and activities organised by Ioana were fun and you didn’t have to worry about planning things and just enjoy and relax your time on holidays

The boat, the staff, Ioana our sail croatia rep, the food, the amazing places in croatia and the other fabulous guests on board. Everything ( except for weather on a couple of days) was like a dream holiday. Would recommend and hope to repeat 👍

Just returned from doing the explorer trip aboard the princeza Diana and can honestly say it’s one of the best holidays I’ve ever been on, all of the crew on board were awesome, special thanks to the chefs who prepared non dairy alternatives every day so I didn’t miss out on anything, the bar staff work such long hours but always had smiles on their faces and enough energy to keep us entertained and couldn’t do enough for you. The crew kept the boat pristine, everything was spotless and the cabins comfortable. I did get ‘red carded’ for doing the floss but in hindsight kalmia, you were right it was horrendous - no man at 37 should be doing that😎 Much love to all & hope to back one day X
