For starters, our guide Ivan was best in class. And the captain and crew were helpful and really good all week. Thoughtful, much attention to detail. We did the wine tour which was lots of fun. Attractions were beautiful. Highly recommend the biking through the national park. On some guided trips you can be programmed to death - this one was just right. Lots of options and guidance on what to do and really good pace for a holiday. There was one moment on the trip when the bus didn't arrive as planned - Ivan had vans show up as a back up plan almost immediately. Felt so comfortable on the trip as he and the crew were just on top of everything. It was my first cruise and it exceeded all expectations from the boat itself to the comfort of the rooms to the food & drink to the quality of service. And Croatia is absolutely stunning. We are not cruise people, but our time on the Queen Jelena far exceeded our expectations. Ivan, our cruise director was very friendly, informative and helpful. Pamela always had a smile on her face and Ella and the Josips were like magic working behind the scenes making everything clean, comfortable while Captain Gordon kept us safe and sound and found the best swim spots. The kitchen was a standout as the meals were delicious and always elegantly presented which was a plus. The swim spots and wine tastings were great but the highlight for us was the professionalism of Ivan, Pamela and the rest of the crew which made this cruise one of the best vacations we have ever had. The sights were incredible, the crew was attentive and kind, the food was delicious. I never felt rushed or crowded on this trip. We had a weather hiccup and Ivan, our incredible guide, made up for it with an additional experience at the end of the trip. I felt safe and comfortable. I would highly recommend this trip and company to anyone looking for a way to see Croatia. Big thanks to Ivan and Pamila and the entire team on the Queen J!

The MS Katarina was everything and more I would expect from a "Superyacht". The crew were exceptional, friendly, professional and attentive. The breakfast and lunches were amazing. We had one dinner "the Captains Dinner" on board, which I would describe as absolutely amazing. I would have loved to see how the chef prepared such a gourmet delight for all 36 of us. The daily swim spots were amazing with crystal clear waters for swimming. The Katarina was kept immaculate by all the crew. The Captains night will be remembered by all the guests on board. So much laughter dancing and singing. Will be a cruise that will be remembered by all 8 of our friends and all the other guests. Will definitely be back for another cruise. By far our best trip ever and will recommend to all our friends

Martina and Mio were great. The Guide from Sail Croatia was a little tightly wound and confrontational. The food was just okay, and that’s probably generous. The worst part was all the noise on the boat. Spend ten bucks and put felt sliders on the chairs in the saloon. Seriously. The chair sliding noise killed all the cabins right below it. The drink prices were stupid for what you get. The food was very forgettable. But the boat and the crew were good!

Anita was a great tour director who had a lot of good energy, information and history to share with us. That was important to all 14 of us in our group. Dragone, Harry and the rest of the crew were very helpful , friendly and always accommodating. We can’t forget the shoreline of Croatia with its navy blue water is magnificent. The native Croatians were also very friendly.. We miss our floating home in the Adriatic. You may see us again! Paul & Karen

The Ship was clean and layed out perfectly with room and space that accommodated sleeping, dining and recreation. The staff and crew were professional, courteous and quite informative. The schedule was easy with adequate time to rest in between excursions, swimming (my favorite), meeting other travelers (this too), dining and relaxing. I can't think of a thing that could have been different to make this experience any better. We are totally satisfied and will cherish our memories thanks to the efforts of the Sail Croatia team.

If you dream of sailing then this trip is for you. To see Croatian islands while sailing is a unique experience. Start with breakfast, Cruise in beautiful clear waters, swim for a couple of hours, eat a 3 course lunch and then explore a beautiful different island each day for 7 days. Plenty of activities to choose from as you go. A family run boat so service is key and they pride themselves on making your journey an exceptional one. I will recommend to all family and friends.

The experience from the day we arrived at the wharf in Dubrovnik to the time we departed in Split was truly unforgettable. The crew from Ivan the captain down to Ivana and Andela who looked after everyone were extremely professional, polite and helpful. Nicko the cruise guide was simply the best you could hope for. He was informative, friendly and went out of his way to make sure things ran smoothly for everyone. I would recommend Sail Croatia and the Katarina to anyone

We did the trip with family for our mother's 80th birthday. The vessel was excellently equipped, the food high quality and the service excellent. We had swim stops that were my favourite parts...Towns along the way were busy but retiring to the vessel was like a little oasis. The Queen Jelena parked in the center of all the towns which gave us prime access to the towns and sites to visit. It was like having a hotel in the best location in every town that we went to, with luxury transport included. Staff were professional and friendly and our host Nickos was always available to provide advice or answer questions. For someone who enjoys more solitude and time away from the crowds, this trip represented a 'happy medium' between the busy towns of Europe in summer and the solitude provided by the vessel and sailing. The beautiful ship. The amazing swim stops. The clean and spacious cabins. The ‘welcome on board’ canapés. The opportunity to experience some beautiful, picturesque islands. The Captains dinner. The itinerary. Mio & the lovely cleaning lady who cleaned our cabins. Only having 14 guests on board. Room for improvement:: The staff could be more friendly (except Mio and the cleaning lady - they couldn’t do enough for you); there should be more fish served as part of our lunches as we are out at sea and in the Adriatic! The lunches were lovely but certainly could be improved; the breakfasts and fresh fruit needed to be replenished as you were scared of having too much and not leaving enough for other passengers. It was not clear that you could have more. The chief female waitress in my opinion didn’t want to be there and that was more than obvious at times. As there was only 14 guests on board, it felt like most of the crew were ‘on a jolly’ and did not make enough effort to satisfy.

We really enjoyed the itinerary and The Esperanza was very well maintained. However some issues need addressing. The staff don’t appear to be very happy in their work place. Deck hands rarely smiled, the waitress in the salon was at times most inappropriate and borderline rude. It’s not every day you hear the F word or gestures using an arms whilst talking to passengers. So totally unprofessional and disrespectful to the Captain.. We appreciate that crew are able to go ashore for free time but please don’t tell the passengers that drinking of alcohol was consumed whilst ashore and then come onto deck to work; Safely for guests and crew surely should be paramount. The salon steward Mio went above and beyond to make every moment a pleasurable experience. The food lacked any wow factor, breakfast tepid, cold ravioli not nice, lettuce leaves as a salad, fruit bowl not replenished until we complained Only 14 guests in total and that shouldn’t mean less effort.. Representive did his job.

We arrived at the boat in Dubrovnik and met the very welcoming host Vedran. We were made to feel at home instantly and explored the boat which had all the facilities you would expect and a splendid hot tub on the sun deck. To say we had a blast is probably a bit of an understatement. We all got on very well as a group, and the staff were excellent – including Mio, Martina, Sylvie and the captain Vlado. We were lucky with a very hot & sunny week so the daily swim stops in coves were always welcome. And then there was the wine….. Whilst by no means experts we can now distinguish our Grk from our Vugava and discuss the styles of Posip! And for red, the ubiquitous Plavac Mali (literally ‘little blue’) was made in all sorts of styles. We visited family wineries in various locations including a fun jeep safari on the island of Brac and a local Peka dinner on Hvar. Thanks Vedran for your knowledge, unflappability and company during the week. Keep on singing those songs!!! živjeli!

From the minute we boarded our vessel, Esperanza we knew it would be a great holiday. The service from all of the crew was exceptional, with Dino, our tour guide providing us with valuable information and he had very sound knowledge of every destination we visited. I would place Dino as one of the best tour guides I have ever had. Martina, our front of house hostess, did an amazing job of keeping all of the guests happy in every possible way. Nothing was too difficult for her and made everyone feel happy. I would highly recommend this cruise for anyone looking for an educational and fun holiday in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Thank you Sail Croatia for the wonderful experience.

Everything from pre-cruise planning with the Sail Croatia staff, to our Sail Croatia representative Vicko, to the staff and crew on Romantic Star was exceptional. Our cruise had shipmates from all over the world and everyone got along fantastically and had a wonderful time. Mia our guide and the entire crew of the Katarina worked so diligently to give their guests an unforgettable experience. The ship was beautiful and was kept in pristine condition. The food was gorgeous and catered very well also for we vegetarians. We enjoyed the daily swims, and of course the excursions on the islands in the fabulous weather. Our tour director, Vedran, and Esperanza's crew provided us with a great experience both on board and on shore. Their hospitality was exceptional, as they made every effort to ensure our experience was outstanding. Passengers from 4 different countries made the trip even more delightful. The weather was perfect for exploring the islands. Food was excellent both on the ship and at our ports of call. Although the May water temperature was cool, swimming off the back of the Esperanza was a daily ritual that made our trip even more memorable. I can't remember the last time I had so much fun. Overall, it was a fantastic experience; I highly recommend it!

The four of us set out to Croatia from Canada via Prague. From the moment we arrived the staff greeted us with humour and. Assistance. The entire trip we were able to relax and enjoy the wonderful cruise and scenic views. It was a wonderful way to spend my 50th birthday with my spouse and best friends. It was a wonderful adventure to a region of this world I had not considered venturing to before. What an adventure! Sailing on the Olimp was fantastic. First, the cruise leader, Ioana. Wow. Dynamic, organized, fun. Not sure the cruise would have been the same without her leading the way. The ship itself was beautiful and well maintained. The staff was helpful to make sure all our needs were met. Beautiful destinations and fun history tours. Even though we were traveling with friends, the new friends we made helped make things even better. Would be happy to go again.

The ship, Olmp, was immaculate and the crew always helpful. With only 36 passengers the experience was very personal and we were fortunate to have a very interesting and homogenous group . The meals served were all delicious but the service was a little too efficient for me. I prefer a slower pace while eating. The only meal that I would avoid n the future is the so called "BBQ". Definitely not up t the chefs usually high standards. The Sail Croatia cruise is a great way to sample all that Croatia has to offer. Our cruise director, Ioana, added another dimension to our touring experience. We all had a wonderful and educational experience on the cruise
