Sailing on Salve Di Mare with Sail Croatia was truly one of the best vacations I have ever had. The scenes were picturesque, our tour manager was so knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone on board really made it a special experience where I feel like we are all bonded forever. The food on board was delicious and they always accommodated to any dietary restrictions. The service team were spectacular and very attentive. I can't wait for my next sailing with Sail Croatia!

My experience with Sail Croatia was nothing short of incredible. The ship was beautiful. The meals were delicious. The crew was friendly and our host Vicko was very accommodating. The bar/dining room staff were standouts as my group spent a lot of time there. Our room cleaner was also a standout. First, Anita needs a promotion asap. Her love for her country, and her love for her job is so heartwarming, I can honestly say I have never met a more beautiful soul. Anita is AMAZING! Second, the crew was phenomenal. By the end of the week they felt like family. Lucy and Pamela were outstanding, as were the rest of the crew. Travelled on Queen Jelena from Dubrovnik to Split. The Captain and his crew were wonderful! So professional and courteous. Service was impeccable, breakfasts and lunches were top notch. Chef and sous chef did a great job getting hot food out to all on board at the same time and the stewardesses never missed. Cabin attendant kept our towels fresh daily , sailors were terrific! Our week aboard the Contessa with Sail Croatia was, without a doubt, the best holiday we’ve ever had. The boat was immaculate, with beautiful cabins, fantastic facilities, a great bar, hot tub, spacious deck and swim platform. What truly made it unforgettable was the incredible team. Nino, Ivana and Marin brought warmth, humour and energy, making every day special. Bane and Marko prepared sensational food throughout the trip, always beautifully presented, creative and full of flavour. Marin, our tour guide, was excellent, honest, friendly, helpful and great fun. He kept us well informed each day on where we were going, what to see, what to do and what to avoid. Ivana and Neno were fantastic behind the bar, always friendly and making great cocktails. Joy kept our cabin spotless and the whole boat was exceptionally clean. Amazing voyage on the Salve di Mare. Hana (tour coordinator) and the crew of the Salve di Mare earned a 11 out of 10 for our group of eight trek through the islands down the Dalmatia coast. This ship is pristine. Bedrooms spacious. Super comfortable beds. The ports along the way, and unique swimming stops, take all the thinking out of this kind of week long trip. The extensive buffet breakfasts and multi course lunches will keep foodies very, very happy. The vessel was spotless the entire trip and more than exceeded our group's expectations. Hana is the most capable person I've ever experienced in my four decades of being on the road for work and is the ultimate logistics "fixer", making experienced suggestions every step you take and every knot you sail. You want drinks on the top of a castle, a party in a coastal cave, a quiet table for a seaside dinner, Hana delivered every request. The ship's crew quickly helped 31 strangers become part of their maritime family., thank you.

My friends and I had the most incredible week on Sail Croatia’s Almissa. The crew were incredibly passionate about Croatia and all had deep local connection, which seemed to be a huge point of difference from competing operators. The Tour Manager Sanja was an absolute professional. She was beaming with energy and positivity all week - articulate, approachable and genuinely cared. Nothing was too much trouble. Sanja is truly a genuine asset to your business. The itinerary on our Explorer trip blended the perfect combination of relaxation and swim stops with exploring the very best the Croatian coastline had to offer. The meals provided were all of a high quality - we were genuinely surprised with how tasty the meals were. What instantly struck us is how the crew treated us all like family and were incredibly helpful and warm. This fostered a really friendly, social atmosphere across the vessel. My only suggestions for improvement are the quality of the linen & towels-it felt very cheap.

This holiday was amazing. I went with my friend and we had the best of times and I’m sure if I went solo I would have had an equal amount of fun!! Whilst we were the youngest on the cruise, it didn’t matter, everyone on board had a great energy and our rep Viko brought everyone together. He was amazing. The excursions were also amazing with Viko letting us know honest opinions of them whilst using banter along the way. The Canyoning in Makarska was definitely a highlight. Just be prepared to pay a lot more than what the ship cost. The wifi was pretty slow and crap but we spent lots of time together and at the swim spots it didn’t really matter in the day and there was a decent amount of service from the ports at night.

My friend and I (50s) had a wonderful time on a 7 day cruise on the Almissa (Explorer Cruise). Our Sail Croatia tour leader Hana was a major part of making the entire experience so great. She took care of all logistics and communicated very well. The rest of the crew was amazing as well. The food was delicious and the bartenders were so cool. Everyone was friendly and willing to go the extra mile. The best part was probably the extended daily swim stops. If you are thinking of seeing Croatia by sea - Sail Croatia is the way to go. Remember the navigator is for younger party crowd, explorer is for people seeking activities and excursions and elegance is for the less active travelers. Highly recommend and try to find what ship Hana is leading.

One of, if not the best vacation I have had. Very service minded crew. The boat was great. Best part for me was the sosial aspect. Got to know the other guests and crew. In addition I felt like I could relax with a good consciousness. Didn’t feel like I missed out when I was relaxing on deck while the boat was sailing to a new dock. Then when we docked I could do excursions, chill some more, go to the beach or explore a city. Highly recommend. Was perfect!

We sailed on the Almissa for my sister in laws 60th birthday. We had the most amazing trip! Captain Joseph was the most amazing captain! He was so friendly and genuinely loved sailing his ship. He found the most outstanding swim spots. He truly enjoyed talking to all his passengers. Our bartenders Cezar and Kufca were so fun and so personable!! They knew all our names by the end of the first day! The food was really very good. We had breakfast and lunch everyday on the boat! The sailors were outstanding as well! The star of the show was Hana! We all absolutely fell in love with our ships director(not sure the actual term). But Hana was soooo lovely! We were informed every day with the schedule of events. She sent us restaurant recommendations and made us reservations if we needed. Everyday she gave us a presentation of what we would see on our next stop. She planned a birthday dinner including cake. But most of all she took the time to get to know every one of us! We loved her!

About 18 months ago, I saw Sail Croatia on Instagram and quickly showed it to my wife. With her blessing, I reached out and booked our trip. We quickly told friends about it and were a total of six when we boarded the Almissa. Simply stated, the trip was amazing. Our captain, our crew, and our bartenders (Cezar and Kafka) were the best. Always there for anything we needed, and always with a smile. Everything you see on the cruise is beautiful but the service on the Almissa took it over the top. Each day you leave a location, eat wonderful food on the boat, have a swim stop, and end up in a new location. The food was excellent. I am a picky eater and loved everything. The swim stops are so beautiful that we all agreed that pictures were not doing them justice. The size of the ship allows for smaller ports and takes you to places you likely would not see otherwise. I cannot recommend this cruise enough. It was a highlight of not just this trip, but all the trips we have taken.

We had an amazing trip! The crew and coordinator (Boat Manager Christiana, coordinator Nikos, sailors Tino and Charlie, waiters Neno and Martin, and maid Joy) all did an amazing job. They all went the extra mile to make sure we were accommodated. The ship had just been renovated, and it was definitely and it was very nice. Rooms and bathrooms were very spacious. 6 of us sailed on the Almissa the first week of July. Right from the start we were greeted with friendly staff members who met all of our needs and answered all of our questions. Hana was our guide/host for the week and she was amazing. She always checked in on passengers daily asking them what they had done the day before and what the plans were. She gave us a play by play of what to expect each day and answered questions and gave suggestions in a timely manner. She was outstanding. The boat was extremely clean and was big enough for all thirty plus passengers to find space if needed. The staff was friendly and assisted whenever needed. The food was also the best food I have had on the trip - even better than the restaurants. The pace of the trip was great. The only reason I did not give five stars, is that I wish drinks were included in the price or that a drink package could be bought. I would definitely suggest bringing snacks on board as they were not provided throughout.

The 7 day cruise spent on Salve di Mare was nothing but first class. We had great service, relaxed atmosphere and immersive destination access. Our cruise director Matilda provided excellent info about each destination & organised side tours at each destination. Marko and Vlaho ran a very professional bar and dining service from early in the morning till late at night. These two were very warm and welcoming and shared there knowledge and promoted fun and laughter amongst the guests. The maid Julija did a wonderful job keeping rooms clean as well as the ship. The kitchen staff Bojan & Fani prepared delicious meals. The crew led by Capt Frane with sailors Fadil and Richard were very professional and skilled especially when mooring the ship in tricky weather and space. The beauty of this ship was its ability to reach smaller locations that provided a more local vibe that large cruise ships cannot reach. The whole 7 days was very relaxed and felt uncrowded on board. Our Salve di Mare Explorer Cruise was truly unforgettable. From the moment we boarded, the crew made the experience feel personal, luxurious, and effortlessly fun. Our onboard representative, Matilda, was fabulous; witty, personable, organized, and always sharing history and local tidbits of each port. Marko & Vlaho mastered the balance of polished bartenders and friends, with perfect prosecco pours flowing late into the evening, then back up early each morning serving breakfast without missing a beat. Chef Bojan & sous chef Fani prepared incredible meals daily - I’m still thinking about the stuffed tomato starter. Captain Frane’s Dinner was a highlight, especially once the impromptu conga line pulled in sailors Fadil & Richard! The Salve di Mare itself is stunning; sleek, modern, impeccably clean thanks to Julija, and clearly built with pride and craftsmanship. Every port was beautiful, but some of my favorite moments were simply onboard laughing and lounging with everyone aboard.

This was by far the best vacation I have ever taken. We were on the MS Almissa with our amazing crew (Marin, Caesar, and Kafka) for 7 days and they could not have made the experience any better. By the end of the trip we had made so many new friends, including the crew. The destinations were amazing and Marin, our tour manager, gave us so many great recommendations in each stop. The staff, captain and cruise director were all great and truly put forth the effort to make the trip memorable. The Yacht was the perfect size with 20 well appointed guest suites. Croatia is a very well kept, clean and amazing country with beautiful ports and friendly people. Croatia proved a wonderful place to visit but it was the on board experiences that made this holiday great. Firstly Dino was a great cruise organiser and entertainment provider. He was always to hand with advice and assistance. He was engaging and shared many stories with great humour. Dino truly drove our experience and I can’t recommend him highly enough. The crew were very good as well, Cesar and Christina’s hospitality and good humour made our dining and beverage experience easy and fun. The food was excellent on the whole. It was an very good holiday, lots of fun and lots of interesting experiences with many thanks.

My husband and I loved the itinerary, and all the friends we made on board. 7 days of stunning swim stops, time to read a book or play a game of dice. Dino was a great help advising and setting up activities at each stop. The food was great! The boat is a bit dated, but I feel it was a fantastic value for the price.

The crew and staff on our Almissa cruise last week were terrific, providing a great atmosphere and attending to everything that we asked for. A special mention should be made of Hana, our cruise manager. Hana provided exceptional service to ensure we had a great time, no matter what was requested or at what time. On our recently completed trip from Dabrovnic to Split for 7 days, Although the "Tempera" ship requires some strong maintenance repairs and surface repairs, the experience beyond that was incredible for a first time cruise guest on that size and style of a ship. Our Cruise Manager Sasha was the most friendly, knowledgeable management team member that leads the way in customer relations and makes all guests feel like a family member. The Captain and crew provide a constant team effort of providing services of any nature while at sea or when at dock daily. We were fortunate to have a dining room / bar drink service leader in "Max", his efforts exemplify professionalism customer service. The most valuable aspect of this specific cruise trip was the personal relationships built in a very short order of time (from day 1) of the other guests. This size of a ship and the areas of common use created an experience like no other, for the friendships that were created, we thank you.

I recently booked a Sail Croatia tour with friends and had the most wonderful experience. The boat itself was one of the older boats, but very comfortable and met all our needs. I cannot say enough about the friendly staff. They were all so very accommodating to us and never hesitated to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The chef on board was also very kind and worked hard to make sure we had plenty of great food to eat. There were plenty of fun excursions to keep everyone busy on the cruise including wine tastings, swimming, hikes, and my favorite...the dune buggies. One of the more unexpected aspects of the trip for me was the wonderful people we met on board our boat. We made some incredibly friendships and were extended invitations to our newfound friend's countries as well. I have no doubt we will keep up with these lovely people we met. I would highly recommend booking a cruise with Sail Croatia...Five Stars!

This was our second Sail Croatia experience, and it was just as fantastic as the first. The crew was exemplary, and special thanks must go to our wonderful Cruise Director, Ana. Her attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm ensured every aspect of our trip was a memorable adventure. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sail Croatia to anyone seeking a unique and unforgettable holiday. The only minor issue we encountered was with the cabin allocation. While this didn't detract significantly from our overall enjoyment, a more thoughtful approach to cabin assignments could have elevated the experience from a four-star cruise to a truly exceptional one.

We had high expectations coming into our Sail Croatia cruise on the Salve Di Mare, and those expectations were greatly exceeded by the experience and the crew. The Dalmatian Coastline is stunning, definitely more stunning than the pictures yo see. The crew was very attentive and helpful. The crew made sure we had the best time possible. Our guide, Dino, was great helping setup experiences for all of us on the boat. We made new friends that we will stay connected with in the future. The whole process of research, booking and payment with Sail Croatia and staff was easy and problem free. The staff made sure all details were covered and our traveling friends were all grouped together on the same boat. The the arrival day and first impression was our week long host Dino. He was a fantastic first impression and just got better as the week continued. Dino set up any activity you wanted and made sure his people had the best seats and service. At one activity the venue seated part of our group in the sun. Dino spoke to the venue and had everyone in his group moved to seats in the shade. That attention to detail and Dino's work made our adventure the best it could be. I would highly recommend Sail Croatia and Dino for your next adventure.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left nothing was too much trouble for the crew and guides. Everything was explained to us for the next day and again on the morning. The food was good and plentiful. The cabins are small but you aren't in them that often so you can live with that. Small observation by all my group was that it would have been good to be able to buy snacks along with drinks eg crisps, nuts etc as we were advised we could not bring any food on board. Loved it all!

We were a group of friends (8) who joined Sail Croatia for the Dubrovnik to Split 7 day cruise. The cabins were comfortable, the bathroom more spacious than the normal cruise ship. With only 40 people onboard I was concerned that we would be in each others pockets. There is more than enough space onboard to ensure you can read a book quietly if you want. The staff on our cruise (Salve de Mere) were supurb, from the maid throufg to the Captain, we were all in excellent hands. I loved the fact that we docked in small ports each night so we could enjoy local restaurants and bars. Each morning we stopped for a swim...as it was late season a few of us decamped to the jaquizzi where we had pre lunch cocktails...great fun! Each afternoon we were given options of excursions we could take, from walking and exploring, to bike rides and wine tasting. I would probably give the Buggies a miss as you travel in convoy at about 20kms per hour...very boring and a waste of money..

We researched well and glad we did - it was well worth it. We selected the Katarina with Sail Croatia. The booking process was simple and efficient. We had the assurance the vessel we selected would be the one we sailed on. To our pleasant surprise, the vessel and crew exceeded our high expectations. Overall, between bareboat charter and cruise ships, this is the right size boat, right size crew and right size of guests. What an amazing trip. Our group of four couples chose Sail Croatia due to its unique vessel size (16-20 cabins) and itinerary. Our expectations were exceeded by Vicko, the Sail Croatia representative on the trip, as he made sure all of our problems were solved, and we had an amazing trip - he is one of a kind and absolutely the Croation fixer! The crew of the Salve di Mare was fantastic. The boat was clean, the room sizes were surprisingly large, and they all worked to make sure we had everything we needed - plus great food and drink. Make sure to take opportunities to go off the beaten path - find unique experiences and take advantage of the ones the Sail Croatia team provides where it suits your interests. We were able to discover so much - we ate a fish the owner of a restaurant speared that morning and cleaned on the dock. We took a rowboat to a monastery on an island. We climbed a mountain (ok hill) overlooking a beautiful town on the Adriatic. Take this trip!

We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise on the Tempera. The staff and crew were fantastic keeping us fully informed of the daily itinerary and working hard to make our holiday as comfortable as possible. This review speaks specifically about the KATARINA and it's crew. Hardly anyone on our trip (we had the entire boat) had experience with island hopping in this region, or with Sail Croatia. After a few days of being on the boat, and seeing other boats, crews and visitors in various ports, we knew that somehow we hit the lottery. You can always find something that could have gone better on a trip, but I am struggling to. The boat was newer, very clean, very well maintained and the captain and crew were amazing. All travel related aspects of the trip were explained by the captain personally, and he even offered tours of the engine room and bridge. The servers/bartenders were very efficient and best if all, intuitive. The maid service worked around passenger movements/activities.

Whole trip was excellent. Boat was clean and well maintained. The crew of the boat were first class, very friendly and always went out of their way to help. The sail Croatia guide was excellent. Good recommendations and clear communication about activities and the itinerary. All the swim stops and harbour stops were great. Everywhere we stopped had great things to see/do. We didn't do loads of the excursions but they had plenty of choices and those we did were great. Food on the boat was delicious, varied and plentiful, couldn't have asked for much more.

I took the trip with a friend, leaving and returning to Split in August 2024 on the Mali Ante. The whole went very well. The ship itself was great, clean, well-managed and crew were great. Split and Dubrovnik were inevitably crowded, but the other stops were really enjoyable. At around 35° the cabin remained perfectly cool. Overall I can find nothing which could have been better, I would full recommend.

Had such a great time on Sail Croatia. I was so lucky that the group of 30 people were fantastic to travel with, kind, warm and very sociable - all ages all fantastic. From the outset the trip was outstanding! I think what made it even more special/better is we had the entire ship with 30 of our lifelong friends and family. Perhaps all ships are operated similarly, but ours was a family run operation so there was just a great dynamic among all. Extremely pleasant and accommodating at all times. Truly they were like ninjas always in the shadows working and cleaning keeping the ship spotless all the while ensuring every whim and desire was fulfilled. (Bonus: shower water pressure was great!) Our cruise director Klara was splendid, knowledgeable af and always giving us great guidance on the variety of excursions at each port, the ATMs for better currency exchange along with the best restaurant, clubs and bars to frequent. She was fun and energetic and would join us as well as help expedite, if necessary. An absolute memorable 5-Star once in a lifetime (maybe 2 or 3x ;) ) trip. I booked the entire ship of 18 cabins and then filled them with family and friends from all over the US. It felt like summer camp. Every morning at breakfast you had the 'early birds" followed by the "hungover last minute crowd". We ranged in age from 19 to 62, and had a blast. The excursions were fun and very different from stop to stop. The staff was outstanding and really only had to go to one person, and not manage 18 personalities. Our cruise director Klara was the best. I would go again.

We had a very amicable, enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide on a very comfortable boat (Salve di Mare). Nickos delivered good local information and history of our destinations throughout the trip. The destinations were good (though very busy with other tourists, though we had to expect that) weather quite warm (hotter as the days went on) so swim stops were enjoyed. The crew were also very good, efficient and helpful And we also had a like group of fellow travellers all out to have a good time with whatever the day brought. The ship was fantastic. Great food and plenty of space to relax, The itinerary was great. We moved between interesting ports and had plenty of swim stops. The tours were ace, especially the buggies on Korcula. Would definitely recommend this to everyone.

Lola was outstanding. She was very professional and handled everything perfectly. The crew was great. Worked very hard to keep everything running nicely. The boat was always perfectly clean and tidy. The food was terrific. The boat was very nice and clearly very well cared for. A couple of the excursions could have been better, but Lola did a nice job of making the best of it. For example: On the buggy ride, one of the buggies wasn’t working when we were ready to return from the beach and blocked 3 of us in. The buggy operators left us and we were stranded with little idea of how to get back to the boat. But thank you to Lola for addressing the problem with the operators to everyone’s satisfaction. .

Booked based on Explorer being best suited for couples, young professionals and 'young at heart' travellers. Didn’t expect at 44, to be the second youngest guest, with the majority being 70s. The boat was fine, the bedroom smelled a bit damp and there were broken fixtures in the bathroom. The crew were great, and very friendly. Disappointed the sundeck bar / bbq area wasn’t used. Also, the ‘€25 bbq’ which was cooked in the oven was a poor offering, and unsurprisingly didn’t go ahead. All in all, I had a great time, but had I have been much younger, would’ve been disappointed with so many older guests.

We sailed on 12th -19th August with Sail Croatia Explorer Tour. The set up of the boat was ideal with good sized en-suite cabins, shaded & sunny decks and nice bar & dining area. The crew were friendly, efficient and professional in their approach and Vicko or representative was extremely knowledgeable and welcoming to all on board. The daily itineraries were fully explained with the options and costs clearly articulated. The sailing between the islands was lovely and the swim stops each morning were absolutely idyllic. Each afternoon there was the option to wander about the town where the boat was harboured or to take part in an excursion. The whole week was a truly wonderful holiday experience with the other guests and crew gelling well together making the trip enjoyable and fun. Fantastic vacation and one that I’d like to do again.

Other than the beautiful Croatia coastline and landscape, the thing that made this group so amazing was the crew on board. Ivana was OUTSTANDING! She made sure we all knew the timing of meals, swim stops, excursions, dinners, etc. Her lunchtime presentations were a very efficient way to make sure we knew what to expect. The bartenders, deck hands, cooks, and captain were all very personable and also made the trip amazing. I can't recommend this trip enough and am looking forward to doing another in the future!

The entire experience was tremendous. We made some wonderful new friends, explored some amazing places, people, and history. We swam every day in beautiful waters, and ate some great food on and off the ship. Klara, our guide extraordinaire, was fantastic at communicating each day's activities, giving us a little history on each town/island we visited, and clearly enjoys people and helping them have a great experience. And what a crew had! They helped us feel welcome, relaxed, and safe. Captain Mate always greeted me with a smile, and his crew, Nikola and Pero worked tirelessly to keep the boat safe and clean. Chefs Zoran and Snjezana cooked up some tasty food and made special efforts for the vegetarian friends in our group. And waiters/bar tenders Erol and Marko were amazingly attentive from early in the morning until very late at night. This was without a doubt, the trip of a lifetime!

Perfect 80 degree weather, beautiful cities at every stop, great food and drinks on the boat and in towns, and a super-friendly staff that went out of their way to make sure we were having a good time. As an example, our airline lost our luggage on the way there, but the cruise director coordinated its delivery to one of our port stops for us, and the Captain - yes the Captain took me in to town to get it The excursions were also very flexible - we didn't have to commit until the day before or sometimes even last minute was ok. 14 of us sailed from Split to Dubrovnik on the Tempera during the last week of June 2023. Everything about the trip exceeded our expectations, from the en-suite and ac cabins to the food, the amazing swim stops, the highly entertaining Captain Dennis. the helpful crew and the superb rep Nina. Our group was boisterous at times, but Nina and the crew handled it superbly. Our excursions ( the wine trip and the buggies) were great, and we had lots of laughs at the Captain's dinner. Our typical routine was to have breakfast, then a beautiful swim stop ( take beach towels), a lazy lunch on board and then go exploring on shore, followed by a late dinner and perhaps some karaoke back at the ship. Take lots of swim stuff, mosquito repellant, and suntan lotion. What really made the trip special was Nina, our Sail Croatia rep ( and future pop star) who went out of her way to describe each new stop, to help with bookings and generally was just an awesome person to be around. We will be back!

I was hesitant at first because I completely hate cruises, this however is not just a cruise! This was an amazing journey as well as a relaxing experience. I love that we didn't feel pressured into any excursion. Each day our guide Julie would give us options on each island. You could take advantage of the excursion, explore the islands on your own, or just relax on the sundeck. I came back feeling thoroughly refreshed instead of exhausted. I am really interested in history so it was great to learn about the history and cultural along these islands. Couldn't recommend this trip any higher.

The boat was great and exceeded my expectations. It was clean, rooms (and bathrooms) were spacious (especially for a boat), common areas were well-designed and modern. The crew and rep were friendly, helpful, and fun – just amazing! The food was great. You had a good variety of excursions to choose from – all the ones I went on were so much fun. The other guests were lovely, and one made fast friends. It seemed like everybody just enjoyed the experience and had great fun. If in doubt, just do it! I know I would love to go back.

Our sail croatia experience was amazing! The whole week long trip was unforgetable, visiting some beautiful destinations, eating delicious food, and doing some amazing activites. The boat, Almissa, was great with excellent rooms and a great crew. They were super friendly and fun (the impromptu karakoe night with the other guests and crew was a highlight of the trip) which really enhanced the whole experience. Kalmia the Sail Croatia guide was great and super friendly. She was really helpful when we had a minor dental emergency, helping to call ahead to a local dentist before we docked to make an appointment. Highly recommend sail croatia to everyone!

To start I am traveling with my best friends whom have been on the cruise three years ago. To say the least, they understated what the cruise was going to be. Sail Croatia has done a outstanding job in organizing these cruises, especially on the Almissa. The Almissa is a modern, small cruise ship with a historic look and very comfortable with all the amenities. Ivan Bozič, Sail Croatia’s representative, knows Croatian history and is a perfectly suited to be a cruise leader. His impeccable attention to detail was extraordinary and his love for his country was palpable. Davor, our Captain, Igor and Ivan our sailers, Daniel our chef, Mírela our Sous Chef and of course, the glue of the ship Mario, our bartender extraordinaire were all amazing, wonderful souls whom went above beyond their job descriptions to make sure we had everything we needed to feel safe, have fun and most importantly to feel like we had a home. Truthfully a experience I will NEVER forget the rest of my life.

I know- it looks too good to be true. It can't be that pretty. Can't be that fun. The food will just be so so. The excursions will be bleh, Well- you just got lucky. It is. And Sail Croatia is the only one that has the Almissa. We booked Almissa by pure luck (lucky you- you have me) and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. The crew (who stay with one boat) are the most open hearted, strong, intelligent, philosophizing, fun-loving, beautiful people I got lucky enough to talk to while they work very very hard to show you the best of what Dalmatia has to offer. The Captain went out of his way to show us the choicest swimming stops. The owner checked in on us personally. The crew who could have just stuck to their duties engaged with the passengers in a way where I felt part of their family - because that is Dalmatia. The chef was world class and left a high dining restaurant just to be on this boat. Tour guide Vedran was energetic, real, and helpful. BOOK IT.

This was an amazing cruise. It was my first time in Croatia and on a boat cruise. The crew on the boat were extremely friendly and very dedicated to giving their guests a good time. The food was excellent thanks to a professional chef. There was lots of variety between swim stops, cultural activities and visits of local towns. The guide on the boat was also very helpful and provided lots of information about places to visit, things to do and places to eat. The boat was very clean and has a wonderful sun deck where to relax. Overall, the cruise was relaxing, interesting and lots of fun. Our Sail Croatia trip was absolutely incredible and it was made possible by captain jure and his amazing crew on the Almissa. This boat had everything we hoped for including great food,cleanliness,great service,and great people. Our rooms were spacious,we had our bathroom and air conditioning. The meals were delicious and very well presented and the daily desserts were awesome. The captain stopped at beautiful swim stops and the scenery was breathtaking. Our rep Nikos was friendly,organized and helpful with all the planning,excursions, and destinations. But most importantly the Almissa crew were all incredible people from Captain Jure to the bar staff Ante and Antonia to the chefs Ivan and Dina and the deck hands Hrvoje and Jakob. We were a group of 9 friends on an extended European trip this summer, including a 7-day small yacht cruise aboard Cristal. The ship and its amenities were perfect, the itinerary was amazing including the stops for swimming and the ports of Stari-Grad, Hvar, and Korcula. The other shipmates, from Australia, New Zealand, USA, Peru, and England were all a perfect match in personalities and similar interests making the cruise even more enjoyable Mia our cruise director was very helpful in organizing activities and restaurants. I would suggest that the next day's information be shared with the guests at least a day in advance One strong recommendation is the need for hospitality/service training for the bar and food service staff. Well-intentioned I'm sure, but a smile once and a while and cordial communication would be a plus.

Had a great week sailing with Sail Croatia. Most guests were Australian and we’re lovely people. It would have been great to meet more people from other countries though. The food was ok but didn’t cater very well for vegetarians. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would recommend Sail Croatia to anyone! Would be great if there were a couple of treadmills and stationary bikes onboard as I saw on some other boats.

This is by far one of the best holidays I have had. The atmosphere on the boat was amazing. We were made to feel so welcome by all the crew. Nothing was too much trouble. The food , well this was amazing . Evert day something different and extremely tasty. The cabins were cleaned daily by the crew who never stopped. The places we travelled to were also amazing. The only way to see Croatia is by boat . The best part of travelling this way is the fact that everyone interacts with each other and the mixture of nationalities had me amazed. So friendly. Without a doubt you have the best people on your Explorer ships. Get on Almissa if you can because Captain Yure is the best on the Adriatic Sea. The crew does it all with pride and dedication.. From the superb dining experiences to the cleanliness of the cabins it has it all. Hopefully you can convince Lara to stay aboard to offer her expertise on daily activities and all local and Croatian cultural life. Ante serves up the best cocktails while H and Jakov secure and monitor our safety at all swim stops. Deserts by Dina and meals by Ivan kept us fat and happy! We had 11 of us traveling together and had an incredible time traveling the islands on Cristal! Antonio made us feel incredibly welcome, the boat was absolutely beautiful and although the weather didn’t look that favorable we were all in good spirits. The crew are great people. We had two ongoing issues while on the Cristal and in my mind very important but fixable issues. First the crew in charge of tending bar didn’t seem to have any basic bartending experience......Not only did they not seem to know how to make a cocktail but they didn’t have a properly stocked bar to do so. Like I said this seems like an elementary part of a cruise and could easily be fixed With a small amount of training. The biggest issue of our trip came when we boarded the Cristal was the hot tub( the main reason we booked this boat) was absolutely cold. After being disappointed and explaining to the crew and Antonio, the issue continued for four days. I whole heartedly recommend this Crew though! Great time

Had great week sailing the beautiful Croatian coast. Would def recommend Sail Croatia. Our boat Cristal was new and exceeded our expections. The crew were great, very helpful especially the barman Marin and our tour guide Duje. Duje gave a useful talk after lunch each day. A great holiday.

Such an amazing week onboard cristal. The entire crew were fantastic especially Marin and Drazen. The captain did a fantastic job looking after us. I will do sail Croatia again.

-The Sail Croatia experience was exceptional throughout. Registration and "front desk" communications was easy and enquiries responded to within a day. We were fortunate to have the Kraljica Jelena which had only recently been launched for the Explorer Cruise. Exceptionally presented! Equally impressive was the Crew: (Nick- our over-worked Barman) and "One Goat" (our magnificent chef) among an excellent team. Our Captain's experience in the region presented us with daily swimming stops in the most beautiful locations and our Sail Croatia representative (Antonio) provided information sessions which were extremely informative and educational on the history of the region. I could not recommend Sail Croatia highly enough.

Small boat - imtimate. Nice cabin, good food. Nice combination of leisure and off boat excursions
