1) Omit overnight on day 7 of trip. End the trip after lunch on day 6. This eliminates unreasonably early check out on day 7 and also makes it easier for a guest to check in to their hotel in DBV without having to wait until 12:00 or 13:00 check in time. 2) Onshore excursion options need clear explanation in pretrip communication. Example: I was not told that a scenic bus tour and a walking tour of DBV was available, so I booked them in advance with Viator. If I had known I would have gone on the onshore excursion instead. 3) Include the use of one pannier on the bike. 4) Include written instructions for charging the bike battery and operating the ebike. 5) There were three outlets in the cabin. That is insufficient to charge two bike batteries plus two phones plus hearing aids, etc. A simple multi-plug adapter can fix this issue. 6) Guide must not make promises he doesn't keep. Example: A military tour was promised on one island (Vis?) but was never delivered.

Hi Tom, thank you for your 3-star review. We also appreciate your detailed positive feedback and we’re so pleased you enjoyed the cruise and would recommend us. Guests are always welcome to disembark once the boat docks at the final destination, should they prefer to end their trip earlier. Your comments about the pannier, charging instructions, and multi-plug adapters are appreciated and have been passed to our Operations Team for review. While our guides provide information at the daily briefing based on the cycle schedule, some activities, such as onshore excursions or optional tours, may be subject to change or availability. We regret that the expectations around the military tour and Dubrovnik excursion options were not met - we appreciate your comments. Thank you again for your review.
The staff made it a really great trip especially Max. Ivana’s knowledge of the area and her help was exceptional.

While this was somewhat of a good experience, there was too much down time, internet reception was extremely poor and whilst the crew were friendly enough they did not seem to want to go above and beyond, then at the end of the cruise, we were nearly shamed in to giving a tip, it was most uncomfortable.
- Anonymous, 10/06/2025 00:24, Travelled in a Couple
Hi there, thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent experience with us. I’m glad to hear that you found some aspects of the cruise enjoyable - this is wonderful to hear. Our Explorer cruises are designed to blend socialising, sightseeing and relaxation on board. You will find in your Pre-Departure Information, more details on Tipping In Croatia. Tipping is not compulsory in Croatia, however, it is customary, and if you are happy with the service onboard, tips are very much appreciated. Your comments will be passed onto our team in Croatia and we appreciate your insights as they help us improve our services. We want to thank you for joining us this season in Croatia!
Food quality - Near prison food. Fish was dry, food unseasoned at all. Your best dishes were soup and 1 pasta meal. Drink prices - total rip off your drink prices rivalled Hvar.. Communication * This involves calling hvar the party island even though it is no longer as such, also being told 2 days before the end of the trip we could order eggs for breakfast..* Pay your workers decent wages. Being told that they are paid less because tips are expected is a joke. Your not America. Tips are standard in a terrible country like America to get around the fact they have shitty minimum wage laws. If you offered me this trip again for free I would refuse. I also will be letting anyone who ever asks me about sailing through Croatia not to bother. They would be better off organising a private car / ferry transportation to a select few islands that would still end up cheaper than the price you charge.
- Daniel, 09/06/2025 14:20, Travelled in a Couple
Hi Dan, Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear your cruise didn’t meet your expectations. We have a thorough process in place for handling complaints onboard, which includes raising any concerns with your Tour Manager and, if needed, escalating them to our customer service team so we can address them promptly. This process is outlined in your pre-departure documents and on the Sail Croatia app. We’ve reviewed our internal records and found no report of your concerns during the trip, and it appears the complaints process was not followed. Unfortunately, we’re unable to resolve issues that aren’t brought to our attention at the time. While food preferences can vary, we’ve reviewed feedback from your specific departure and found the average food rating was 4.3/5 from fellow travellers. Your comments have been noted and are appreciated. Hvar is one of the most vibrant destinations in Croatia, known for its beaches, restaurants, and nightlife. Guests looking for a party atmosphere typically head to popular venues such as Hula Hula Bar or Nautica Bar, famous for their flaming Jäger trains. While noise restrictions apply to ships docked in many Croatian ports to respect local communities, these don’t affect the nightlife onshore - guests simply head off the ship to enjoy their evening. Information on tipping - including guidelines on etiquette and suggested amounts - is available on our website, in pre-departure documents, and on the Sail Croatia App. Given the information provided in advance of your cruise, we were surprised to hear that the tipping process was unexpected. Tipping, while not customary in countries like Australia and New Zealand, is widely practised and appreciated in Croatia and across Europe. Many locals rely on the summer tourism season to earn the majority of their annual income, and while we pay all our staff a fair and competitive wage, tipping is a customary and appreciated way to acknowledge good service. It’s always optional but very much valued. Sail Croatia offers a relaxed, hassle-free way to explore Croatia by small ship. With accommodation, transport, and some meals included, guests can enjoy a unique travel experience while visiting beautiful destinations along the coast at their own pace. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience. Thanks,

Everyone on the Afrodita works so hard, the ship was very well maintained and the food was great. The hike guides very good and well informed. The trails were not maintained by any standards basically goat paths. I slipped and fell on first hike injured my leg, cuts and bruised on the loose sharp rock. The guides Martin and ILona were great. Martin applied bandages to my leg to stop the bleeding then helped me finish the last kilometer back to the boat. I had to skip the hike the next day and only did 5 of the 7 hikes opting to do the easiest. Looking back I wish I knew the trail conditions, the length and elevations were all that I remember and the hikes were moderate. Next time we will do the elegant cruse. I wish I could give 5 stars.

Great service
- Anonymous, 28/05/2025 10:32, Travelled in a Couple
Numerous swimming stops and excursions and daily briefs on Croatia history and culture. Nightly stops at interesting ports with historical and cultural heritage relevance. Captain and crew members professional service ensured a worry free rememberable experience.
- Scott, 27/05/2025 14:24, Travelled in a Couple
Overall, my wife and I had a wonderful trip on our bike-boat trip in May 2025. The guides were very good and kept us well informed. The bikes were very good quality and easy to ride. My only criticism is that my wife and I slept in separate small beds in our cabin. We would’ve clearly preferred to be in a single bed together at night as we have been for 40 years. All in all, this was a very successful vacation for my wife and myself.
- David, 26/05/2025 12:42, Travelled in a Couple
Good organization. Bikes in good shape. Clean cabin.
- Anonymous, 19/05/2025 06:03, Travelled in a Couple
The knowledge of the crew was amazing and was a lot fun to be around.
- Yash, 19/05/2025 05:49, Travelled in a Couple
Karolina and the Crew Only down side was the Hot Breakfast was always cold and disappointed the Captain only sat on one table and did not move to each table after each course.
- Greg, 13/05/2025 07:42, Travelled in a Couple
Hi Greg, thank you for 4-star review. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed your time with Karolina and the crew. We’ve taken note of your comments regarding the breakfast and the Captain’s presence, and will be sharing them with the team to ensure we continue to deliver the high standards of service and quality we strive for. Thank you.
The cruise had a nice relaxing pace but there was still lots to enjoy The food was great. Vicko was very helpful and entertaining.
- Glenn, 13/05/2025 05:59, Travelled in a Couple
More time at destinations rather than hanging out at sea. Get a real coffee machine. That powdered machine was terrible.
- Dennis, 11/05/2025 09:06, Travelled in a Couple
Hi Dennis, Thank you for your recent review. We understand that everyone's travel preferences are different, and we’re always working to strike the right balance between time at sea and time at each destination. For guests who want to see what to expect day by day, our full itinerary and daily activity breakdown are available on our website. We also appreciate your feedback about the coffee. We're always looking at ways to better our onboard experience, this will be passed on for further improvements. Thanks again for traveling with us, and we hope to welcome you aboard again in the future!
Tour guide Mia was wonderful. Very attentive to the group and great communication. Wine tour sail trip was incredible. Great side trips on each oof the islands.

The guide, Anita, was excellent. Charming, efficient and most helpful. It was a joy to have such service. I cannot recommend her too much. The crew were very helpful. Food not so good- too much overcooked meat, just one fish dish in 7 days.. Good bar service. Most enjoyable party after the captain',s dinner- lots of dancing ! I did not engage in excursions, as too strenuous for my age.. Others enjoyed them.. Cabin fine and very efficient and pleasant cleaner.
- Michael, 24/10/2024 13:59, Travelled Solo
Loved the week on the ship. Met some great people. Mostly from Australia, UK and USA. Particularly enjoyed the swim stops. Great food too. Be aware though that the ship docks late afternoon in each location so some of the advertised shore excursions will not happen. We found this disappointing and would recommend Sail Croatia only promote those excursions that have a realistic chance of going ahead.
- Rhys, 09/10/2024 09:12, Travelled in a Couple
Great crew all round. Extremely professional and courteous. Very high standards of comfort and cleanliness. Very professional Tour guide , perfect touch and interaction with all passengers. Only complaint is breakfast is too early to close at 9.00am, also it was a direct shut down at that time. Even at 9.o5 am the coffee and tea was closed, leaving the only option was to purchase. Tea and coffee. That station should be available all day subject to cruising condition.
- Graham, 08/10/2024 09:07, Travelled in a Couple
Beautiful Croatian coast and a good crew
- Tony, 07/10/2024 12:52, Travelled in a Couple
The food. No need for a 3 course meal at lunchtime. How about a salad type buffet. Anyway, the quality of the food left much to be desired(too stodgy. Breakfast hot food wasn’t kept warm Cabin was good, especially the shower No swimming spots as advertised Sail Croatia staff excellent, crew not so Bicycling very good. Excellent concept
- Anonymous, 07/10/2024 08:25, Travelled in a Couple
Hi there - Thank you for your review! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the cabin, especially the shower, and that you found our bicycling concept to be excellent. It's also great to know that our staff made a positive impression on you. We appreciate your thoughts on the meal structure and quality and regret your disappointment. Our chefs aim to provide a variety of meals using fresh, local produce, and we have found with the small kitchen space onboard, the 3 courses work best and produce less food waste than lunch bufftets. We are sorry that due to the unusually poor weather conditions, some swim stops were not possible.Your insights are invaluable to us, and we hope to enhance your experience in the future. Thank you once again for your review!
Places we visited, people we met, local culture.

What a beautiful country to explore. The boat and the crew was excellent. Massive thank you to our wonderful tour guide Klara, her knowledge and laughter all week was amazing…..she needs a pay raise 😂👍.

The Croatian islands are so beautiful to see when biking. The EOS ship was not as nice as other pictures on the website. The staff were all pleasant. Vegetarian options were limited. Despite rain, the staff worked very hard to reroute us and gave us a wonderful experience.
- Anonymous, 27/09/2024 19:47, Travelled in a Couple
Anton and Karla our cruise / bike leaders did well with the large group of cyclists that were on-board the Princez Diana. Delaying a couple of rides due to weather and adding an additional ride for the island that we missed due to the weather. However, some of the riders did not like the fact that the additional 20km added for this additional ride were not given the option of missing it as it was stated before the start of the ride the group was told the additional ride would be optional. The kitchen staff were outstanding with excellent choices made for B / L and Dinners that we were given on the boat. I would've appreciated coffee included with lunch or dinner though not just breakfast. As for the room (Cabin #5) it was adequate as we did not have a working safe - staff said someone would fix it but that was never done. The venting in the bathroom was not good and the annoying relay pump sound was pretty bad when anyone was using water on the boat. I would recommend the cruise.
- David, 23/09/2024 14:42, Travelled in a Couple
With Sail Croatia it is really for those aged between 18-28. Anyone above 30 and you feel a little out of place. These days everyone is traveling in groups of 2-6. Gone of the days of solo travellers from my recent sail where there was only 4 of us solo travellers. It does make it a little harder to meet people but I guess at the end of the day it really is a luck of the draw. It definitely is a good experience. Just prepare to be oboard with a bucket load of aussies haha
- dan, 19/09/2024 23:05, Travelled Solo
We reserved a few years ago but then the COVID Pandemic landed. We had to cancel and Sail Croatia were so great to deal with. A full refund no hassle. We rebooked six months ago and just returned home. We were on the ESperanza Dubrovnik return. Boarding was easy. We met with Mia the cruise director. Such a lovely warm kind person. She was so organised . We got great information and recommendations where to go when ashore. The food was very good . Anna and Antonio were our servers and bar tenders. Nothing was too much trouble to them. The weather was not the best but the captain and the sailors had to rearrange the itinerary to avoid the rough seas at times. We felt safe at all times and managed swim stops in secluded bays every day. Overall we loved it. We made new friends who we will keep in contact with. Two small areas that could improve. The hairdryer in the room wasn't great so I'm told. Also the ladders for getting back onboard after swimming need to be longer. Excellent.
- John Philip Collins , 19/09/2024 18:40, Travelled in a Couple
Captain very good at choosing swim locations and avoiding some inclement weather. Food/drinks/service & guides all good and great choice of ports of call. Engines noisy with downstairs cabins at back of boat.

The mix of people (staff and passengers) was great.
- Alan, 16/09/2024 17:50, Travelled in a Couple
Cheap! Great value and really like close to shore docking. Excellent staff, very friendly, helpful with suggestions, and knowledgeable. Rough edges: Broken stuff, no food choice at lunch.
- RL, 16/09/2024 05:56, Travelled in a Couple
Sail Croatia needs a boat dedicated to solo only travellers. My experience was fun and thoroughly enjoyed it although it was somewhat difficult to socialize with others as they were glued to their friend until roughly day 5 where everyone started to branch out and really connect as a group.
- Anonymous, 11/09/2024 12:41, Travelled Solo
We had a great time, all 28 people from all over the world, got on fantastically well. The bikes were of a good quality and everyone managed to get on really well with the e-bike I would have liked some longer rides, the longest ride was only about 50 kms, I would have liked to do this every day. The sail Croatia jersey, should be free to all and a day set aside when everyone wears it. I was the only person that bought a jersey and it certainly was not worth the £50 paid. We only swam off the boat twice and this was something we were looking forward to, This trip is not cheap and I realise we had one of the better boats, but with payment of food when off the boat and more expensive drinks when on the boat, our limit of spending was soon exceeded, to be then expected to pay for tips and what was an expensive payment was above what we could afford. The crew should not have to rely on tips and should be covered on the initial spend. I would be happy to talk more if requested.

Well it wasn’t Great, the crew were bored
- Brian, 03/09/2024 06:56, Travelled in a Couple
Thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Excellent exercise to work off the meals! Our guides were super, well organized, and very hospitable. Met people from all over the world. Comfortable ship, Well organized itinerary. Enjoyed the swimming, particularly on hot August days! One thing to note is that it was not clear on the website nor from the saleswoman with whom we corresponded if the "total ascent/descent" for a day is combined ascent & descent or the amount one ascends and additionally descends. It is the amount one ascends and then descends as well. For example if a day's total ascend/descend is 640 meters (as ours was listed on Day 3), that means you will climb a total of 640m and then descend a total of 640m.

The staff were all impressively friendly , helpful, knowledgeable , accommodating and extremely hard working.. The communication regarding daily rides, activities were impressive and able to be flexible when needed The other guests made the trip exceptional sharing the boat and bike rides but life experiences and stories. We are confident we made friends from around the world that we will maintain and see in the future
- David, 19/08/2024 09:16, Travelled in a Couple
Some more thought into the details would be recommended. I.e having food that suits the cultures on board/having an option for those that don’t eat fish/seafood for example. Some rooms Air Con didn’t work Some of the decisions and recommendations for activities dinner etc seemed strange and almost like there were “kick backs” or back scratching for certain places vs others. (Some of the organised dinner recommendations weren’t good) Lots/most of the activities that we saw online were not available. The boat owner needs to be much more friendly, less grumpy and controlling. Some of the logistics around swimming stops were obviously just to suit the boat and to be the most fuel/time efficient, which meant we were sometimes docked too early or swimming with boats passing by, not the crystal clear water advertised. Some of the staff were doing the bare minimum. The rep has potential but was barely engaging with the guests above giving a talk each day after lunchtime.
- Levi Smith , 13/08/2024 05:33, Travelled in a Couple
Dear Levi, Thank you for your review about your recent Explorer Cruise, Levi. We're sorry to hear that your experience didn't fully meet your expectations, and we truly value the time you took to share your thoughts. I can see we have received high feedback scores from your fellow travellers onboard, so we're sad to see that your experience fell short. The excursions are subject to minimum numbers and are organised by local supplierse in Croatia - we're sorry to hear that you were unable to take part in some of these. With regards to the logisitcs and the itinerary, it is not possible to reserve timeslots in port in Croatia, so our Captains try their best to arrive ahead of other ships to get the best placement for our guests, and also to ensure there is the perfect balance of time spent both on and off of the ship. Thank you for your feedback regarding the swim stops. We certainly do take food preferences and dietary requests onboard - we do ask our customers to let us know in advance if you have preferences and these are passed onto the Chef onboard. After looking into our communication with you, unfortunately we did not receive any preferences with regards to seafood or special requests. Lastly, your comments about the staff have been noted, and we’ll use your feedback to ensure better service across the board. We hope to welcome you in the future. Kind Regards
The boat has everything from under 18 to 65 year Olds plus. Given we spend most of the time on the boat it's frustrating that you put people who have limited interest groups or different stages of life. We were told this was suited to 30 to 40 year Olds. The experiences and tours were all for old people and the boat has very limited toys or experiences so all you can do is eat bad food, sunbake and drink to put up with the small talk - give more information to people prior to joining as Croatia is lovely but this isn't a great way to do it
- Jeremy , 13/08/2024 02:58, Travelled in a Couple
Dear Jeremy, Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear you found Croatia lovely and we hope you enjoyed visiting the various islands. We're sorry to hear the cruise didn't meet your expectations. We couldn't find any correspondence regarding the age range advised to you, however this cruise type is open to all ages over 18, but typically appeals to a more mature traveler. We aim to offer a variety of meals using fresh local produce, so we regret any disappointment in this area and water toys aren't included, but can be brought on board. We provide detailed pre-departure information via email and on your Online Account, which includes everything you need to prepare for the cruise. We appreciate your input and thank you for your review!
I was lucky enough to get the best group of people and best crew. But all I can say is that booking the ensuite boat for navigator is definitely all you’ll need for a week. You’ll have more fun on this boat if you’re solo or with one or two mates. If you’re travelling with a bigger group of friends you should think about selecting a nicer boat.
- James, 07/08/2024 00:34, Travelled Solo
Our tour/customer representative, Barbra, was great. The islands were good with a couple of things. We didn't get to explore Vis much since we stayed korcula.. Korcula was great. We stayed in Mijet which was not worth the stop. As for the food. Breakfast was good but could have had more options instead of eggs. Lunch was over the top each day. The food was good. The night before and the day of decorating, we felt rushed off the boat. We had to be off by 9am. Jacuzzi was emptied the night before and could not be used. Did not understand why decorating time could not have been around 11.. The staff was great and the swim stops we a pleasure.
- Steve, 06/08/2024 15:56, Travelled in a Couple
I had a great time aboard the Afrodita while being a solo traveler. I met tons of friends and shared great memories. The food and on board entertainment were great, but the bar prices were not competitive at all. Drinks were €10-12 and happy hour was only 10% off. Bell ring shots were also €120 at the start of the trip and usually mostly juice unless you were watching the bartender and telling him to pour more alcohol. When comparing with passengers in other boats, their drinks were only €4 (didn't have to pay for mixers) and bell rings on their boat were only €80. If our boat had cheaper drinks, more drinks would have been purchased on board, but our group was considered fairly tame because people didn't end up buying many drinks on board. More money could have been made by this boat on alcohol, but they were stingy with prices and portions and wondered why they didn't make much money. The trip overall was great, but the bar was their biggest downfall.
- Michael , 29/07/2024 15:12, Travelled Solo
The bedrooms need a major upgrade they’re a sauna and the boat is in need of maintenance as water leaked through the roof in the dining whilst eating lunch
- Jack, 23/07/2024 11:22, Travelled in a Couple
Dear Jack, Thank you for leaving us with your review. Our Standard Ships are popular with budget conscious, independent travellers on extended travels throughout Europe. Our Premier and Ensuite ships offer the added benefit of air-condtioned cabins compared to our Standard ships which you chose to travel on. We regret any issues experienced during your cruise. It is common for the more traditional, wooden ships, which are full of charm and history, to face occasional leaks during severe weather conditions, which was unfortunately experienced in the small part of the dining room during your week. Your comments help us in our ongoing efforts to maintain and enhance our vessels. Thank you.
On arrival we were greeted by Ioana who welcomed us in a very professional and courteous manner. The ship Olimp was amazing. Very modern and clean. The crew were equally professional and a special mention must go to our housekeeper. She was the BEST. Our cabin was always cleaned with fresh towels which made our experience even more enjoyable knowing that everything was clean. Ioana who was in charge of cruise went over and above to ensure everything was perfect for all the guests on board. She was a true professional and I cannot thank her enough for making our cruise so very special and memorable. Thank you!
- Nigel Fawkes , 23/07/2024 11:01, Travelled in a Couple
The crew, host, food and stunning locations we visited made our holiday absolutely fantastic! Klara was so accommodating and helpful that she really took all the thinking and organising out of each day for us. Thanks so much!
- Glenn, 22/07/2024 16:37, Travelled in a Couple
The crew on board couldn’t have been any better they were honestly the nicest hardest workers you will meet always smiling and helping out in any way they could. The food was 5/5 amazing as well at the itinerary of the week with stops and swim spots. Only feedback would be the variety of drinks at the bar were not as advertised on the website and didn’t have the variety to suit some people we were with.
- Brayden , 12/07/2024 06:35, Travelled in a Couple
My wife and I had a wonderful experience sailing on Olimp. Beautiful vessel with everything being first class. Couple of minor things they could improve the experience with but overall wonderful. Excellent food, beautiful clean cabins, excellent staff/crew and stopped in fantastic swimming locations.
- Geoff, 09/07/2024 05:03, Travelled in a Couple
The cycle crew (Miranda and Andro) were friendly and knowledgeable giving us history and insight into all the islands we visited. We started off as strangers and left as friends - each person on board cheering on others in the group To ride through the villages was a real treat. The crew onboard the ship Emanuel were also friendly and accommodating
- Scott, 04/07/2024 12:32, Travelled in a Couple
The stunning coastline and scenery provided the backdrop for a very pleasant and relaxing cruise amongst the islands between Split and Dubrovnik. The crew were excellent and looked after us very well. Food quality was excellent. Fellow passengers became friends and added to the convivial atmosphere. The only negative we experienced was excessive noise at the berths in two of the ports where we were unfortunately berthed beside boats with raucous Americans who stayed up way beyond the general curfew. Some noise is always a risk and indeed, this was flagged. However when it comes from another boat it’s profoundly irritating and detracts from the cruising experience. We would recommend Sail Croatia products, with the advisory about noise.

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us on the Explorer Cruise aboard Tempera. We are thrilled to hear that you loved the coastline and scenery – our destinations are carefully selected to showcase the most beautiful and unique views, and it's wonderful to know they left a lasting impression on you. We are also delighted that our crew made you feel well looked after. Their dedication to providing exceptional service is something we take great pride in, and your kind words will surely motivate them even further. It's fantastic to hear that you enjoyed the quality of our food and made good friends with your fellow passengers. I'm sorry to hear about the noise disturbance from guests on nearby ships. We understand how this could affect your overall experience, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused. Port Authorities manage curfews in each port, and unfortunately we are unable to control the behaviour on-bard other ships. Thank you once again for your valuable feedback. We hope to welcome you back on board the Tempera for another memorable journey soon. Warm regards,
Meals and cycling should receive separate ratings. Our biking experience was better than we could have anticipated. Milah was professional and delightful. Andre was a great host and server; however, meal times degraded the experience for us. Breakfasts were never served hot, and lunches often consisted of lots of heavy noodles with heavy cream sauce and tenderized meat. Portions were always large, but the food was generally unappealing. We'd read reviews about gourmet fare on this experience and found nearly universally unappealing meals. The Captain's meal demonstrated the cook's capacity to make fine food, but it had been hiding until then. I would heartily recommend Sail Croatia for the challenging cycling experience, but would warn potential participants that meal time may more closely resemble a teenager's summer camp experience than an upscale adult experience.
- Harry, 24/06/2024 10:24, Travelled in a Couple
Hi Harry, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your biking experience and that it exceeded your expectations! It’s wonderful to know that our crew and your guide contributed positively to your trip. We appreciate your kind words and your willingness to recommend us. Your feedback is invaluable as it helps us improve our services continuously. We are sorry to hear that the quality of the food did not meet your expectations. We take all feedback seriously and will be addressing this with our team to ensure that we can enhance our culinary offerings for future trips. Thank you once again for your feedback and for choosing our Cycle Croatia cruise. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you on another adventure soon.
First up, Ana, our guide, was top notch and probably the best guide I've had on any trip. She provided comprehensive maps at each stop of good restaurants, museums, attractions and bars, carried herself very professionally, and was always polite and informative. She is an asset for Sail Croatia. The staff, were also brilliant. Particularly Branko on the bar. You want your bar staff to be funny, eccentric and great to have a conversation with, and Branko exceeded expectations on all three! The food was also impeccable. The Explorer cruise was also a very good crowd. Perhaps slightly older and more couples than I expected, but it suited me well. The only parts where Sail Croatia fell short for me was some of the experiences. Not having an alternative option instead of rafting (which was unavailable in Makarska on my trip) was disappointing. Even a short walk along the Cetina would have been OK. The Korcula buggy tour was also short and expensive for what it was.
