Great crew, beautiful boat, plenty of good food and fantastic memories

My wife and I had an absolute blast on the 7-day Split-to-Dubrovnik Explorer cruise on the Contessa. This was our first cruise ever, and it wildly exceeded our expectations. Every stop was a treasure in it's own way, the recently renovated ship has a modern/elegant design, the cabins were spacious, food on on-board was great, crew was fantastic and friendly, and our tour guide Lola made sure we knew all the fun activities to do, and the best places to dine. Highly recommend., 5 star experience.

Brilliant , Lauren was fantastic. The crew were awesome! We had a good blend of people on the boat, from all over the world. Food was good and the places where we went were absolutely beautiful. The only complaint I have was the bed and sheets were a little short for me I am 6’2” I didn’t like the fact we had to “pay in cash” for the bar tab and local taxes at the end of the trip.

I was super impressed with Sail Croatia, From the skipper, all the crew, our awesome English guide, Lauren, the facilities and all the stunning islands. Lauren gave us story time every day about the island we were visiting including its history and activity options. She was always available for information and recommendations. She really made the tour exceptional. The food that came out of such a tiny ships galley was also really impressive and the guys serving us ( Caesar and Kofta) were also awesome. I really can't fault the cruises. I went as a solo traveller and the friendship you make in the boat were a big part of the success of those cruise. I was in a below deck room which was also fantastic considering the space constraints on a small cruise, it was perfect.

Our Salve di Mare Explorer Cruise was truly unforgettable. From the moment we boarded, the crew made the experience feel personal, luxurious, and effortlessly fun. Our onboard representative, Matilda, was fabulous; witty, personable, organized, and always sharing history and local tidbits of each port. Marko & Vlaho mastered the balance of polished bartenders and friends, with perfect prosecco pours flowing late into the evening, then back up early each morning serving breakfast without missing a beat. Chef Bojan & sous chef Fani prepared incredible meals daily - I’m still thinking about the stuffed tomato starter. Captain Frane’s Dinner was a highlight, especially once the impromptu conga line pulled in sailors Fadil & Richard! The Salve di Mare itself is stunning; sleek, modern, impeccably clean thanks to Julija, and clearly built with pride and craftsmanship. Every port was beautiful, but some of my favorite moments were simply onboard laughing and lounging with everyone aboard.

Amazing trip lead by a very fun and knowledgeable tour guide Lauren. The bar staff Kafka and Caesar were fun and easily approachable who added to the enjoyment of this trip. For those in the low to mid 30s debating whether to do the explorer or navigator, definitely give explorer a go as you will find like minded individuals who are willing to have fun and make the trip one to remember

Our trip w Sail Croatia was wonderful on all fronts. The MS Contessa was recently refurbished and felt like a brand new, luxury yacht. The crew was incredibly helpful, kind and always available as needed. And our trip guide, Anita, was the absolute best and always there to keep us having fun, providing exceptional excursion options, making sure we were always safe and providing up-to-date plans for each day, I would highly recommend Sail Croatia to anyone looking for a truly amazing vacation.

We had a wonderful time with the friendly staff on the Tempera we where greeted on the dock by ceili our tour guide who was Fantastic she kept us well informed the whole trip and was very helpful with any questions we had we found our cabin very comfortable and clean A great experience Highly recommend 🍹😎👍

It was good, but they have things to improve, like the air conditioning not working, the cancellation of multiple activities due to the weather, the captain's absence due to "illness" (though he seemed perfectly fine the other days), and having a bartender drunk almost 50% of the time. But the accommodations were very good, the food was very good, and the main day was excellent.

Our trip through the Croatia islands with Calum aboard Tempura was fun and educational. The trip was from Split to Dubrovnik visiting wonderful islands along the way. The crew was extremely hardworking and helpful. Our guide and leader for the week was Calum. If you are fortunate enough to have him as you cruise leader, know that you will have an amazing holiday. He was very knowledgeable about each stop as well as the history of each island/town we stopped in. He planned trips, dinners and events every day making the trip extra special for my wife and I!

This was by far the best vacation I have ever taken. We were on the MS Almissa with our amazing crew (Marin, Caesar, and Kafka) for 7 days and they could not have made the experience any better. By the end of the trip we had made so many new friends, including the crew. The destinations were amazing and Marin, our tour manager, gave us so many great recommendations in each stop. We spend most nights out on the town, but the post-dinner hang outs on the boat with new friends are some of the most memorable of the whole trip. Happy to be leaving the trip with new friends (including our amazing crew).

Our family had a wonderful time on the cruise getting to explore a beautiful country with wonderful people. The crew was excellent in every way. The boat was clean, comfortable, the food and drinks were plentiful, and Dino was a great guide the entire week! Friendly, knowledgeable crew and staff Mirko and Cezar looked after us all week and waited on us 24/7 Dino was a brilliant host and gave us valuable local knowledge. Unbelievable food provided and served up by Bogdan and Marko Safely navigated by Captain Josip and Ivan Magical moments including swimming, hiking, Paddle boarding, cycling. Great value for money. Fantastic guests on board that will be friends for life.

Sailing through Croatia aboard the Salve di Mare was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The vessel itself was spotless and well-maintained, with a crew that took great pride in their work. Every detail—from the gleaming decks to the thoughtfully prepared meals—reflected a high standard of care. The food onboard was a true highlight, each dish freshly prepared and bursting with flavor, perfectly complementing the beautiful views of the Adriatic. The itinerary offered plenty of chances to explore Croatia’s stunning coastline, with stops at charming seaside towns, historic ports, and hidden coves. Swim stops were always a favorite—crystal-clear water, warm sun, and that feeling of pure relaxation only the sea can offer. Our guide, Dino, truly made the trip special. His deep knowledge of Croatia’s history and culture brought each destination to life, and he was always ready with excellent suggestions for local sights, food, and activities. Great trip and would recommend !

The staff, captain and cruise director were all great and truly put forth the effort to make the trip memorable. The Yacht was the perfect size with 20 well appointed guest suites. Croatia is a very well kept, clean and amazing country with beautiful ports and friendly people. Croatia proved a wonderful place to visit but it was the on board experiences that made this holiday great. Firstly Dino was a great cruise organiser and entertainment provider. He was always to hand with advice and assistance. He was engaging and shared many stories with great humour. Dino truly drove our experience and I can’t recommend him highly enough. The crew were very good as well, Cesar and Christina’s hospitality and good humour made our dining and beverage experience easy and fun. The food was excellent on the whole. It was an very good holiday, lots of fun and lots of interesting experiences with many thanks.

My husband and I loved the itinerary, and all the friends we made on board. 7 days of stunning swim stops, time to read a book or play a game of dice. Dino was a great help advising and setting up activities at each stop. The food was great! The boat is a bit dated, but I feel it was a fantastic value for the price.

The crew and staff on our Almissa cruise last week were terrific, providing a great atmosphere and attending to everything that we asked for. A special mention should be made of Hana, our cruise manager. Hana provided exceptional service to ensure we had a great time, no matter what was requested or at what time. Our boat Salve Di Mare was not only the best boat in the fleet, it was staffed by the best crew, Captain Frane, Sailors Mario and Duje, Waiter Marko and Vlaho, Cheifs Arjan and Tina and last but definitely not least our Maid Monika, all 10/10 for all their duties. Now not to forget our absolute champion of a representative Vicko. The weather was a little Ordinary so they changed the route and included some extra activity activities to give a better experience, it was appreciated by all guests on the boat. Vikos knowledge about Croatia and the places we went, outstanding. The entire crew and Vicko went above and beyond. As an airline Captain in Australia, I can only hope my crew perform as Frans crew did, I know the logistics behind a smooth enjoyable experience for your guests and the teamwork required to achieve this, Frane and Vicko mastered it. From the start of this cruise on a fairly small ship the crew and Sail Croatia representative were most welcoming and friendly, nothing was to much trouble. Beautiful clear water with plenty of swim stops. Food offered to a good standard. People we met were friendly and most spoke good English.

On our recently completed trip from Dabrovnic to Split for 7 days, Although the "Tempera" ship requires some strong maintenance repairs and surface repairs, the experience beyond that was incredible for a first time cruise guest on that size and style of a ship. Our Cruise Manager Sasha was the most friendly, knowledgeable management team member that leads the way in customer relations and makes all guests feel like a family member. The Captain and crew provide a constant team effort of providing services of any nature while at sea or when at dock daily. We were fortunate to have a dining room / bar drink service leader in "Max", his efforts exemplify professionalism customer service. The most valuable aspect of this specific cruise trip was the personal relationships built in a very short order of time (from day 1) of the other guests. This size of a ship and the areas of common use created an experience like no other, for the friendships that were created, we thank you.

Perfect size in terms of fellow passengers (30); Crew (7): Travel time (week); Port locations (easy on -off); Itinerary (a few excursions, daily swim, ample free time); Motor yacht (easily navigated, comfortable). The boat trip between Split and Dubrovnik Croatia is amazing with beautiful islands and an exceptional ship crew. The captain had to deal with bad weather and modified our stops to minimize the impact and maximize our itinerary with fun and exciting stops. The crew kept everyone safe, provided us exceptional meals, provided us excellent service and kept the ship clean.

Unforgettable experience!! If you're travelling alone and having second thoughts about doing this I'd highly recommend doing it. Dino and the crew we're incredible, making everyone feel at home. The food was delicious , the activities were so much fun and our swim spots were majestic. This is something you have to do atleast once. Thank you all!!
