The boat was lovely , but the crew and cycling tour guides are what made this trip. THEY WORKED HARD!!!!!!! Lifting the bikes everyday and still smiling. The guides were professional and very well informed about the area and were way better at English than we were at Croatian. The food was high quality, promptly served, and plentiful. I woud do the same all over again tomorrow.

Everything made this trip! Starting with signing up with Sail Croatia.. My girl friends sister had done the trip last year. Being boaters and bikers. We made our decision to do it. It was far beyond my expectations! At first I was hesitant to do it as my travels have never included an organized tour. This trip I was proven wrong. The boat was the perfect size, spanking clean and organized, the crew and bike guides were beyond personable, friendly and professional, the food outstanding! By the end of the trip they all were like family. The group, a mixture from different countries, also became like family, many we will keep in touch with after this trip I do not say these words lightly,. I truly amazed myself with this admittance. I say again, I have never been a fan of tours nor large groups of unknown people. I have been on many world adventures but none quite like this one!

The crew, which is responsible for the sailing/transportation of our group from destination to destination, were very good - trying to avoid rough waters, offering good meals (always a breakfast and usually a lunch and the occasional dinner). The cycling component was handled by a lead that planned the routes. Our lead tried to anticipate the abilities of our group, as we had a few non-electric bikers, and I appreciated him factoring the weather, cycling ability, terrain, topography and the ships ability with regards to docking/port authority schedules. By the end of our trip we ended up cycling: distance and total accumulated altitude climb, exceeded most trips of the season.. I believe that accommodations could have been made if our group was either over or under challenged.. Overall cycling Croatia was a great experience for us. We got to see Croatia in a unique way safely guided and well hosted.

We had an incredible time w 13 other couples, sailing and biking from Dubrovnik to Spilt. The crew and our bike guides are what set this apart. So amazing to hear their takes on the history of the region and their love of their country. We had a great set up for the other couples that we were traveling with to enjoy time as a big group and break off into smaller groups.

Excited about the boat Aphrodite, it did not disappoint. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Plenty of room. Great introduction with the staff. Any fears of sharing our holiday with a number of unknown people were soon dismissed. We were so fortunate that we had such a good group. The cycling guides, helpful , informative and entered into the spirit of holiday. WhatsApp group for passing information and morning meetings worked well. The bicycles are good quality and surprisingly no punctures.. At times the group seemed to large and we seemed rushed and to be cycling to a schedule. Thoroughly recommend the combination of travelling by boat and cycling the best way to enjoy the Dalmatian coast. The scenery was stunning, weather was perfect for us in mid September. Opportunities to swim from beaches and of the boat was perfect, enjoyed the food on the boat and we all came together to eat at meal times. Most memorable experience and booked again with SailCroatia for 2027….

Our bike tour guides, Marin and Borna, were absolutely outstanding — knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about the regions we explored. Their local insights, humor, and attention to detail made every ride not just scenic but meaningful. They were the true highlight of this trip and the main reason our cycling adventure was such a success. The boat Dionis was functional and served its purpose as our floating base for the week. While it’s not the most luxurious vessel in the fleet, it provided what we needed for a comfortable journey between islands. The crew was generally accommodating, though the captain’s early departure push on the final morning — moving the checkout time from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. — felt a bit rushed and left us scrambling to wrap things up. Overall, the experience was memorable and well organized, thanks in large part to Marin and Borna, who turned a good trip into a great one.

Our cycling guides, Josko and Anita were outstanding. Each day’s itinerary was meticulously planned and when weather didn’t cooperate, J did a great job of changing on the fly, The crew on the boat were also absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond. That is what made the trip so special. That, and the amazing scenery and sights on the islands of Croatia.

Everything was amazing! The biking was such a great way to see the islands of Croatia. The guides were fantastic in planning the day’s ride; kept a good pace with breaks as needed. The boat staff were friendly and eager to make your trip a good experience. The food was amazing. I wasn’t expecting that type of quality on a small ship. The sea was quite rough for a few hours but that is out of anyone’s hands.

Great staff and itinerary. A little more cleaning - railings and doors should be everyday. Sanitizer in dining room and public spaces. Half our group got sick which was NOT fun. Probably not their fault. All else was excellent. Their bikes were well Maintained and it was beautiful.

Had a great time biking and going from island to island! Marin and Josip made the trip! We had a large group of riders, some on e-bike some classic- they always had alternative routes, addressed all concerns, made everyday super fun! They were very knowledgeable about everything, Croatia! , history lessons, exploring caves, bike routes, etc. The best was the information we got for our free time in ports- great suggestions for activities, hikes, swim places, must see attractions, best places for dinner. I would definitely recommend, I’m already looking at other trips!

It really was a great trip, Marin and Mario were exceptional. They covered all the bases for having a safe and worry, free experience, very professional. Personally, I could’ve used a little bit longer routes to cycle and myself and a few others felt the last cycle stop was a little risky getting on and off the boat. I’m off to extend my journey and vacation, but I think that this part of it’s gonna be the best of everything overall Thanks, John.

This was my second trip with Sail Croatia and it was just as fantastic as the first. The wait staff, crew members and guides were friendly, hardworking and attentive to our needs. The food was excellent! The guides were knowledgeable about the history and culture of Croatia and shared it in daily ride stops. Guides gave detailed descriptions of the rides each day and made sure everyone was safe on the road. Great value for the money, hope to come back and sail with them again.

Josko and Mario were excellent leaders and accurately described each ride with great concern for our safety. They laughed with us and even joined us on a wine flight and dinners. The made the whole experience way beyond our expectations. Christina and her crew made the time on board relaxing and engaging. All of us on board laughed, shared stories and celebrated together. Our Captain’s dinner was a jovial event with much drinking, toasting and dancing. The meals were an epicurean’s delight. I was surprised at how varied and delicious and beautifully presented each meal was. My wife and I are 76 years old with lots of travel experiences and this was our favorite vacation of all time.

There were so many amazing things about this trip! We had Miranda, Borna and Marco taking care of us and they were all AWESOME! The were very accommodating and attentive, provide great information about the rides and history of the towns! The food was delicious and the ship was great! Croatia is scenic and the cycling was good. The crew of the Princeza Diana was terrific- they worked very hard and were friendly and happy to interact with guests. The food was absolutely top notch- I'd recommend this trip for the food alone. Our guides were only average based on multiple previous cycling trips in Europe. They were pleasant enough but seemed disconnected from their jobs. Perhaps it was late in the season and they had mentally moved on.

The guides Ivan and Lucija were very knowledgeable and organized. We alway knew the plan and they provided great local info and recommendations. The food was well prepared and tastey. The coffee was good but cold. Maybe replace the coffee maker with a better style that keeps the urn warmer. The only downside was our ship was charged after all our travel plans were made. The upper bunk mattress was small and uncomfortable.

We had a great experience with Ivan and Lucija. They really looked after us and were great teachers about Croatian culture, history and geography. I felt we had a university level course by the end of the week. They also had great senses of humour and made us feel relaxed. Also, they took our safety very seriously and made sure we were aware of the conditions for our biking expeditions. When one of our bikers got injured, Ivan went above and beyond to make sure they got the medical care that they needed. We loved the intimate atmosphere on the boat and all the crew were very nice to us. Marijan was particularly good for serving us and Anna's food was DELICIOUS. Thank you for a wonderful week.

Well organized , great boat staff and cycling guides , plenty of well prepared meals . The other guests were fun to travel with . I organize a lot of weekly mountain bike rides at home here in Ontario Canada on the dirt , in the woods , so I know what it’s like to be guide … but Ivan and Lucija have a much more difficult task organizing and keeping safe their guests ! Kudos to them for doing an amazing job ! We all felt like family under their guidance and care 😊

Lola was excellent as our tail end guide with good history comments along the way. For constructive criticism I would recommend that the up front lead guide (Srdan) go a bit slower so that we did not spread out into seperate pelotons with the later groups missing turns that Srdan made without stopping to allow the later groups to catch up.

Loved being able to ride the bikes through the Islands of Croatia and see the villages of the various islands. So many old ways are still observed, but over tourism is going to hurt this region in the long term. This is the way tourism should be be done, in small groups. Those big cruise ships are horrible for this beautiful country!!

Andro and Mario were great guides and very informative and entertaining. Mario’s dining and drinking options were spot on. Food was very good. My only suggestions to make the trip better would be to not mix e-bikes and standard bikes - standard bikes kept e-bikes waiting for too long.

We weren’t sure quite what to expect when we were making plans around this trip but it ended up being a terrific combination of good company, absolutely spectacular sightseeing, and a great cruise, something we weren’t sure we would have ever done any other way. Our trip leader Miranda was the consummate professional, responding to every one of our needs, and handling some tricky situations with grace, speed and compassion. Sanjay’s love for her country and her work shone through every day in her stories of the islands. In short, my wife and I had a blast, thank you Sail Croatia!

They arrange transportation to medical facility for me. They went above and be on what could be expected. and seen that I was well cared for the rest of the trip.

My second Sail Croatia holiday and just as good as the first. I chose the Split Northern Cycle Tour to explore some new places and more of some of the places I'd visited previously, It was a great trip with an excellent multi national bunch of people on board. We were well looked after and the rides were excellent, scenic, varied, interesting and challenging but do go for the e-bike option unless you are a serious bike rider!

My wife and I experienced our first trip to Croatia aboard the Mali Ante on the Split Southern Return voyage along with 30 of our friends. The ship's crew were amazong. Ivan, Mario, Ilea, and Captain Ivica. were all so friendly, attentive, and took great care of us. (If you like a good cocktail, be sure to order the Mario Special.) Chef Ivica and sous chef Antonio prepared delicious food, including traditional Croatian cuisine for the Captain's dinner, hearty lunches for post-cycling recovery, and breakfasts that fueled us up for our rides. Speaking of the rides, I can't say enough good things about our guides, Tonka and Sanja. Every morning they would give us a detailed briefing about the day's journey; the length, difficulty, water stops, road conditions, etc. Tonka's humor put even the inexperienced cyclists at ease, and Sanja was so informative with her stories about the islands and the towns we rode through. We are already planning a return to beautiful Croatia. Puno hvala!

Our time on board the ship and during the cycling cruise was fantastic. The ship's crew was friendly and professional. Our cycling guides, Tonka and Sanja, were excellent, fun, and took us to many wonderful places. They also made numerous recommendations that were very helpful and enjoyable. My only criticism was for communication with the Sail Croatia personnel. It was difficult to find out which boat you were assigned to because that information was buried in a specific email link. I also asked about storage on the bicycles since they had racks and was told there was none. There were panniers provided and I did not need the backpack I had bought based on the misinformation.

We had a wonderful time on the Biking cruise and it was largely due to the efforts of the Crew of the Mali Ante and our guides, Tonka and Sanja. From the moment we set foot on board, the crew took care of our every need, often before we asked. The food prepared by Chef was fantastic, and the service from Ivan and Mario in the saloon was exceptional. Tonka and Sanja worked very well together as a team for the bike riding and the touring with very detailed information about both and always making us laugh and smile. These women are top-notch and I would trust them to take care of guests in every situation. I can't believe how quickly the week passed by and I wasn't ready for the trip to end. I highly recommend a trip with this crew and these guides to anybody considering a trip in beautiful Croatia.

Being able to cycle and see the places we visited with local knowledge guides. E Bikes makes it much easier and open to a wide variety of abilities. Stopping at every port and trying out local restaurants was also nice.

good sociable week with like minded people. good mix of exercising and chilling. would of liked a couple of longer rides, maybe alternate days to mix it up. It would have been a 5-stars tour if the breakfast varies daily, the ship is stocked with shampoo and the bed mattress is thicker. The staff on board were wonderful. The tour was well organized and the bikes were fantastic. Beach towels were not provided either.. It would have been very nice if these are provided as well.
