The ship, our cabin, the fantastic food, and absolutely wonderful crew, all exceeded our expectations….this was our first trip to Europe and with my wife recently retiring, we will be sure to be visiting Croatia once again and look forward to travelling on another slSail Croatia adventure!

On the Sailve de Mare The staff were wonderful , we can’t thank them enough for everything they did for us I can’t remember everyone’s names but would like to mention how much we loved Monica 😍 the housekeeper, Marco and bar staff, for the endless service of beverages and food with a smile , chef and kitchen hand for the amazing food , deck hand and captain for the smooth sailing and most importantly Vicko our guide had the best sense of humour and made our history lessons very interesting He gave us great explanations of the islands with recommendations and guidance and most of all made us feel so comfortable. We had a simply fantastic experience from start to finish. The booking experience was smooth, communication about check in time and all logistics was timely and detailed. What really made the trip for us was our Skipper Ante. From the start Ante understood what we wanted to achieve and being sailers he tailored our trip so that we could also learn how to sail the boat we had chartered. Ante planned the route together with us and ensured we also visited beautiful bays to swim and amazing restaurants throughout the trip. Without a doubt Ante made this trip very special for us and we want to repeat it again soon!

Queen Jelena is a beautiful ship and we appreciated her elegance. Everything was organized perfectly. The service and food was incredible. Our guide Ioana was amazing, she gave detailed explanations of the days and next nexts plans and optional activities. This was followed up by written explanations on WhatsApp which was very helpful I would have no hesitation in recommending this trip to anyone

This was our seventh B & B trip and we had an excellent time. The staff and guides did an excellent job throughout the week. The food on the ship was very good. We used ebikes which I would recommend, they made the hills which there are many very easy to peddle up. There were not any panier bags on the bikes to carry anything in so I would recommend brining a small backpack or sling bike while riding.

We travelled on the boat Afrodita and the crew, chef, captain were exceptional. The food was excellent, the boat was regularly cleaned, and Joseph aka Poppy was the most accommodating and friendly bartender/server. We had regular swim stops at just the right times and when we had a rainy day we were offered a buffet barbecue on the boat to avoid having to walk into town. Our bike guides, Ivica and Ilona, were top notch and they constantly reassessed our schedule based on the weather and the abilities of the riders. Their flexibility, competence, approachability and warmth made our biking experience just right for everyone in our group regardless of our different levels of physical fitness. As introverts who have never participated in group travel let alone done a bike/boat tour we are still marvelling over our positive experience. Definitely a 9/10 for us.

Sailing to the small island towns of Croatia on the beautiful yacht Katarina has to be one of the best experiences I’ve had. The accommodations were lovely, the food was wonderful, and the crew were amazing! I can’t imagine enjoying the beauty of Croatia any other way!

The cruise exceeded my expectations. Being “trapped” on a small vessel in the Adriatic had the potential to be conflict ridden and challenging. Instead everyones’ interests were adeptly accommodated and a good feeling was generated by our guide and the boat crew. People very quickly became a team that looked out for one another enjoying the well-thought out cruise itinerary. Swim stops were fantastic and there were many opportunities for exploring either alone or with the group. Unforgettable experience enhanced by a genuinely caring staff. The lunches were delicious without exception and it was brilliant to be free to find your own dinner options to avoid overeating. Will definitely consider returning for the southbound version. Such an excellent way to combine history, culture, activity, sea air and terrific cuisine.

A five star experience from the moment we boarded our boat. Cleanliness of the boat, a very helpful crew and quality and variety of the food was outstanding. Our guides were organized, knowledgeable and very attentive to ensure all customers had the experience they expected. What made the island trips very special was our ability to cycle into smaller towns and villages on each island and truly experience Island life. We had a number of people on the boat that were second and third time customers. This speaks volumes of the quality of overall experience.

First off our guides, Ivica and Ilona were the best. They kept 30+ people of differing interests and physical ability engaged and enthusiastic every single day.....even the day it rained. The routes chosen provided spectacular views and gave us the opportunity to see parts of the islands that visitors to only the port towns would miss. The ship was comfortable and meals on board were very good with a some outstanding moments. Daily information on the plans and suggestions for that day took all the guesswork out of it. Very well organized with everything planned to the last detail but also flexible depending on group preferences and weather.

Our experience with Sail Croatia was phenomenal! It was one of the best trips we've ever taken - offering a nice balance of relaxation on the boat and activities on the islands. It was great to have flexibility to explore on our own (using recommendations provided if we wish) or opt in to the excursions. We enjoyed that we docked in port every night so we could stay out and enjoy the island as long as we wanted. All of the staff were so welcoming, kind, and provided top notch hospitality! We also really enjoyed meeting our fellow shipmates and actually formed some deep friendships with others on the boat, which was unexpected but made the experience that much more special. We highly recommend this cruise!

Our boat Salve Di Mare was not only the best boat in the fleet, it was staffed by the best crew, Captain Frane, Sailors Mario and Duje, Waiter Marko and Vlaho, Cheifs Arjan and Tina and last but definitely not least our Maid Monika, all 10/10 for all their duties. Now not to forget our absolute champion of a representative Vicko. The weather was a little Ordinary so they changed the route and included some extra activity activities to give a better experience, it was appreciated by all guests on the boat. Vikos knowledge about Croatia and the places we went, outstanding. The entire crew and Vicko went above and beyond. As an airline Captain in Australia, I can only hope my crew perform as Frans crew did, I know the logistics behind a smooth enjoyable experience for your guests and the teamwork required to achieve this, Frane and Vicko mastered it. Our guides were Josko & Ana, what a team! We had a couple of windy days & one wet day. The communication was quick & kept us updated with options for our bike trips. The banter was fun & their knowledge of history/ old stories kept us intrigued. They were very giving with their time & expertise, & we felt they went above & beyond to make sure we had plenty of information to plan & enjoy our onshore time. The boat crew were great, always available & worked hard to make sure everything ran smoothly. The meals… no one went hungry with our chef! If you’re on the fence about this tour, you will not be disappointed!

I would highly recommend the biking island hopping trip from split to Dubrovnik. The staff were exceptional. From Marin and Natasha to the on board staff George the cook . The captain Ante Andrea and Antony (?) Nothing was a problem. Made our trip very special for our group of 17 .

We were blessed to have a wonderful and friendly crew and 2 guides Ilona and Ivica who kept us safe and informed whilst having great fun on the bikes! A group of like minded people on the boat just added to the experience! What a great opportunity to explore such picturesque places combined with biking, swimming and a little walking and sometimes dancing in the evening (you needed to exercise off the amazing meals prepared by our skilful chef). We had an amazing week sailing around Croatia as a family. Our skipper Bruno was really knowledgable about the different towns and sites and managed to accommodate all the activities we wanted to do as part of our trip from zip lining to hiking. We were especially impressed with the swim stops along the way and he really found the balance of being around when we needed him but also to give us our space. The boat was perfect for us as first time sailors and we had an amazing time and would absolutely do it again. Thank you, Bruno!

He was amazing when giving things like restaurant recommendations as well as giving us the locations on google maps so we knew exactly where to go. overall amazing experience and our skipper was one of the main reasons why

We did the sail and cycle in September and it was great. The crew were great, our guides were hands down amazing, the food on board was terrific. We used hybrid classic bikes and it was hard work on some of the hills, so just be warned if you are considering classic bikes. The terrain was much different than we expected. We felt very accomplished by the end of our adventure.

We had an amazing time on our sail Croatia yoga cruise. The entire crew was amazing, kind and friendly. Very hardworking and deserve more down time off between charters. The boat was wonderful and rooms clean and good size vs expectations. The chef was awesome and made delicious meals every day. Breakfast was basic with some meats cheeses, fruit, toast, eggs. My suggestion would be a blender for smoothie and microwave to reheat cold food. Lunch was delicious but having an idea of what it is before hand would be helpful for those selective eaters so they can have more breakfast or select the vegetarian option if they want. The yoga was great and excursions were fun and easy to sign up with each day. Posting the options on the whiteboard in the saloon, daily meals and schedule etc would be very helpful to prevent so many msgs on what’s up. I found the group chat nice but too many msgs and questions of things we were already told. Overall, we loved it and would do it again! Thanks

Just finished a week on Kapetan Jure with Lauren and it was by far one of the best experiences! Lauren was knowledgeable, high energy and added to the fun of the week. The food was incredible, and all the staff were lovely! Definitely think this is the best way to experience the beautiful coast of Croatia and would highly recommend!

Concept was great. Yoga daily swim stops and included excursions. Food was great Although Captains dinner could have been a little more special. Maybe include a glass of wine. Also daily it would be nice to know what the lunch was, perhaps even just posted somewhere.. But overall it was a great trip and I would do it again and would highly recommend

Value for money, excellent cruise staff and a great bunch of people on the cruise. The food was excellent. Cabins quiet, clean and comfortable. Vik our tour manager was THE BEST he provided us with so many options and opportunities. When the weather was not so great he worked really hard to find other activities to do. The captain changed our destination so we didn’t experience too many rough conditions. Honestly all the staff worked extremely to give us the most fantastic time. We are sad it is over.

Captain Ana and Host Danijel made our trip amazing! With their friendly personalities, their informational conversations, the love and pride in their home land, and their interest in us having an unforgettable experience we had a fabulous trip! Had an incredible time all the activities and experiences were great, but what really made it better than any other similar experience was the staff on the boat and our tour manager. Johnny our tour manager was probably the best part of the trip he made everything fun and enjoyable he went above and beyond to make it as good as possible for everyone On top of his knowledges of the different places we stopped and the connections and people he knew and the bars, clubs and restaurants he got us into with no issues at all All in all an outstanding man and incredible guide I can not speak highly enough of him The two sailors on out boat Nikola and Josip were also both great fun always ready for a laugh and to have a good time as well as completing their duties on the boat they also brightened everyday and made the entire trip more fun

Sail Croatia was on the top of my bucket list and I certainly had no regrets after doing it. The week was the perfect mix of socialising, relaxing, swimming, adventure, and partying. The food was delicious and the boat was way bigger and more spacious than expected. I felt so welcome and excited being part of my group. The best part though…… most definitely our incredible host Cal! He bent over backwards to make sure we all had the best week of our lives and was a friend, a mentor, a guide, and a leader all in one! Loved the opportunity to explore the beautiful Croatian coast on Queen Jelena. Docking in the heart of a different place each day and being able to explore into the evening instead of rushing back to a ship that would be moving on before dinner set this apart from traditional cruises. Swimstops in quiet coves were another highlight of every day. We met some fabulous people, we spent the week with Canadians, Australians and Americans as well as others from England and Scotland. Meeting people from so many places and having the opportunity to socialise with them through the week, was another great strength of the trip. We’ll be keeping in touch! The food was good, the bar nearly always open and the crew helpful and worked hard to ensure we enjoyed every part of our holiday. We had an amazing tour guide with us throughout the trip, who did so much for us, including entertaining us. I would recommend Sail Croatia to anyone wanting something a little different and a memorable holiday.

I recently did the Dubrovnik to Split itinerary and it was an incredible experience. It was a great mix of partying, adventure and relaxing. I enjoyed each new swim spot before lunch with the most stunning coastlines. Our guide Cal was friendly, knowledgeable and always went the extra mile to make sure everyone in the group was having a great time. The crew were lovely. The rooms were spacious and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!!!!

We had the privilege of having Johnny as our sail tour leader! We could not of been more lucky that he ended up as our guide. Everything was so planned out and made so easy - we just had to show up! Johnny always had plans for us and solutions to any problems if anyone had any. When other clients on other sail croatia boats wish to join our boat because of how good Johnny it just shows you how well of a job he is committed to doing. All of our experiences were perfect and always so fun but a big thanks goes to johnny who made sure it was effortless for everyone. Not to mention how he made everyone on board gel from day 1 and we ended up with the best group ever! Cant recommend sail croatia enough - Ps Request johnny as tour leader!
