We loved our cruise on the Almissa, we sailed from Dubrovnik to Split. We had a wonderful week, the crew the food & locations were amazing. We were so lucky to have Dino as our tour guide, he made our trip the best, he gave as so much information on where to eat, what to see, great swim stops, when the weather wasn’t great he organised alternatives which we much appreciated. We had the time of our lives, we loved Croatia!!

Sailing through Croatia aboard the Salve di Mare was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The vessel itself was spotless and well-maintained, with a crew that took great pride in their work. Every detail—from the gleaming decks to the thoughtfully prepared meals—reflected a high standard of care. The food onboard was a true highlight, each dish freshly prepared and bursting with flavor, perfectly complementing the beautiful views of the Adriatic. The itinerary offered plenty of chances to explore Croatia’s stunning coastline, with stops at charming seaside towns, historic ports, and hidden coves. Swim stops were always a favorite—crystal-clear water, warm sun, and that feeling of pure relaxation only the sea can offer. Our guide, Dino, truly made the trip special. His deep knowledge of Croatia’s history and culture brought each destination to life, and he was always ready with excellent suggestions for local sights, food, and activities. Great trip and would recommend !

Had a great time, low passenger (21) to staff ratio really helped. Couple of things though - Last cruise of the season meant we had to ask for things like spa being heated, etc - there wasn't a lot of initiative from crew in general, Also food and alcohol was running out so they weren't going to replace certain things. While we got a very SLIGHT reduction in price from peak time it did mean that we still felt as though we had to ask for things. Swim stops were awesome, but many people wanted to do more snorkelling options - It would have been easy to pull in a little closer to shore (100 metres) so we could see the bottom rather than swim there (I swam 250m there and back on one just to see the bottom). These are all minor details - the room was great, the tour manager Dino was AMAZING and dealt so well with a lot of different personalities. He responded immediately to all queries and was very patient with some of the more demanding passengers. We met great people.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I absolutely loved this trip! We did the Explorer Split Return on the Almissa. I'm an avid cruiser, but now I'm spoiled and hooked on small ship cruises! It was so nice to have swim stops each day and get to swim right off the bow of the boat in a beautiful cove! Since we overnighted in each port, we were able to enjoy our time there without worrying about getting back to the boat on time! We were docked in the harbor at each port and walking distance to dining, shops, and activities. Food was great and service was excellent. Our cruise director Vin was so friendly and helpful, giving us great tips and advice for each port. My bed was very comfortable and room was clean with good AC! I had an above deck cabin, so I was able to open my window for fresh air, which was very nice since it wasn't very hot during our end of Sept sailing. I would definitely recommend this company and would not hesitate to book another cruise with them if I have the opportunity to return to Croatia!

We did the Explorer trip early October '25, so the towns visited were not as busy as peak season, which was great. Interactions with Sail Croatia ahead of the trip were clear, concise and quick (I would recommend sending guests a pdf or e-mail itinerary ahead of departure). The cabins were sufficient for a week's travel, the included lunch and breakfast perfect and crew and tour manager Nikos all very helpful. Additional excursions were suggested and organised where required. The only disappointment was that we couldn't do a swim stop during any of the days due to the windy weather. One could swim at the towns, though. Just to note, Croatia along the coast has become expensive for anyone that might be travelling on a budget, but all in all the trip was well worth it. The towns and natural surrounds exceeded all expectations and experiencing it on a small cruise boat (36 guests) is highly recommended.

Perfect mix of relaxation and adventure, your choice! With breakfast and lunch (3 course) included every day and a swim stop in between (my fave part) the afternoon and evening were yours to explore the next town/island. You could choose one of the organised excursions or do your own thing. Nothing was too much trouble, the crew were the best and our tour manager Klara was the bomb!! Thank you Salve di Mare! After extensive research by both my husband and myself, we joined the Sail Croatia, Salve de Mare cruise this past September. Looking for a smaller cruising footprint with excursions was our goal and Sail Croatia did not disappoint. From the date of our embarking to our final day with our new international friends and a wonderful crew, our adventure was just that... a true adventure! I must start off by giving a big round of applause to our group leader, Vin, who prepped us everyday to let us know what to expect and where to go when we were sure and arrange all the excursions including the free ones. For those who love the water, the swim stops were amazing, the water extremely blue and clear and it was so much fun. We really enjoyed all the ports, and all of the people were so friendly. We met people from all over the world and it was awesome. Getting to know each other on board the ship. The food was awesome and plenty of it! Sailed on the beautiful boat Salve di mare. My home for for 7 nights. Above and beyond my expectations. The boat and crew were impeccable and made us feel welcome. The weather wasn't kind to us every day but all efforts were made to keep us happy. Off shore excursions were varied and there was something for everyone. All round a wonderful time and my only suggestion would be to stock up on more breakfast teabags . I hope to travel again with Sail Croatia.

This cruise was better than we even anticipated. The crew was great, very responsive, personable, and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious; every meal was expertly prepared and what you’d expect from a 5-Star restaurant. Weather required that we pivot from the original schedule but the captain and the guide made sure we had good alternatives for swimming and exploring. Highly recommend this trip.

Swim stops. Port visits. Particularly Korcula and Omiš. Barman ‘Milan’ was a genuine, nice guy. I still believe our room ‘0’ was bigger than others. I asked and was told the rooms were the same size, however when I peeked into a twin room ours was definitely larger! Not so great - Breakfast was monotonous, same every day. Really need a FOC push button coffee machine for use throughout day. The American drip coffee was rubbish and yes paid for the nespresso style coffee from the bar but e3.50 for something not that good. Our window leading outside next to the door required a curtain as well as the twisted Venetian blind there. I had to put up a makeshift curtain to block out the exterior downlights rays coming in. We spoke to a couple who were on a Sail Croatia boat with the same timings as ours and they raved about the food, as prepared by ‘two mamas’ who obviously cooked from the heart. Unlike our chefs!!

The boat was beautiful with a friendly and hard working crew and the cooks prepared delicious food (including the daily breakfast buffet), amazing island stops, swimming/relaxing/exploring every day, etc. and all was communicated through our awesome tour manager, Klara. 5/5 stars-would recommend!!

I had an amazing and unforgettable experience on my Sail Croatia Explorer trip from Dubrovnik to Split. The accommodations were just as I’d hoped, the food was plentiful, fresh, and delicious, and the crew went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a fantastic time. Improve breakfast offerings, variety and presentation. Offer better quality coffee and tea options. Communication with passengers and kitchen waiting staff. Improve lunch offerings, more vegetables, and meat quality and variety. Serve tables with waiters offering drinks. Have coffee and tea making available during day with biscuits etc The discussion of itinerary to be held prior to lunch service. No smoking on ship for passengers and crew. Provide equal number of deck chairs to passengers. We had 10 deck chairs for 36 passengers and I witnessed a passenger confrontation Set outdoor furniture up for passenger comfort prior to breakfast service

The trip was wonderful! Klara was incredibly knowledgable about the areas we were visiting and super helpful to give recommendations. The chefs made delicious meals for us each day and the bartenders were a delight, always willing to serve with a smile, despite their long hours and early mornings! My husband and i would highly recommend this trip to others.

The staff, captain and cruise director were all great and truly put forth the effort to make the trip memorable. The Yacht was the perfect size with 20 well appointed guest suites. We chose Sail Crotia for the small size of the ship and passenger count. I have always been attracted to Croatia and this was the perfect opportunity to get an intimate look. The ship, the Salve d’ Mar was lovely. Well kept, modern and spacious. Our staff was friendly accommodating and fun. The tour director Klara was i i formative and fun. Although we preferred a top deck cabin our lower deck was perfect. Comfortable bed, nice size bath and hot showers. We would highly recommend the Sail Crotia line and this ship specifically

Croatia proved a wonderful place to visit but it was the on board experiences that made this holiday great. Firstly Dino was a great cruise organiser and entertainment provider. He was always to hand with advice and assistance. He was engaging and shared many stories with great humour. Dino truly drove our experience and I can’t recommend him highly enough. The crew were very good as well, Cesar and Christina’s hospitality and good humour made our dining and beverage experience easy and fun. The food was excellent on the whole. It was an very good holiday, lots of fun and lots of interesting experiences with many thanks.

We set up this trip with 7 couples and we didn't really know what to expect. We read all the information but we really didn't know that is was going to be a lot better than advertised. Everything about the boat and the staff was just what we had hoped. The travel, the food, the guide all made the trip a ten for us. We actually loved this trip better than when we went to Greece. The only way to travel Croatia is by boat.

We travelled from Dubrovnik to Split on the Salve Di Mare in early September. The crew (Vlaho, Marko and Monika) were attentive and friendly and excellent at their jobs. The kitchen staff were brilliant producing delicious 3 course lunches on a daily basis! Vicko was a fabulous guide and was approachable and informative. The boat was luxurious and the activities were great, although the swim stops in the secluded bays were a highlight for me! Our fellow shipmates from around the world were wonderful, making for an exceptional holiday!

Also Monica along with the Captain and sailors made our experience fun, enjoyable, and personal. The meals prepared by the chefs were delicious. We had the absolute BEST time aboard the Salve di Mare sailing from Split to Dubrovnik. The route and timing of the voyage provided a steady crescendo with a stunning finale. Each island better than the last. Our tour manager Klara was very engaged, helpful, informative, personable, and frankly quite funny. We loved her. We also became very fond of our fellow travelers. The accommodations left us wanting for nothing, the meals exquisite, and the scenery and excursions just lovely and memorable. One of our best trips.

Travelling on Salve Di Mare with Klara as our host exceeded all our expectations! The ship itself is divine large enough to afford everyone their own space but small enough to get us into the most amazing swimming spots and awesome island ports. The rooms are fabulous the food sublime and the crew wonderful! Everyone went above and beyond to ensure our whole experience was 5 star! Our whole group felt it was a trip of a life time! After seeing other yachts in different ports Salve Di Mare was by far the best! Sail Croatia, Capt France, Klara, Vhlaho, Marco and all the crew we will talk about you for years to come! Simply the best!

A dream come true! What an incredible week myself and 5 friends had on the Sail Croatia Cruise from Split to Dubrovnik in September 2025. Weather was great, food incredible and the crew were so friendly and approachable. Nothing was a problem. We had a great bunch of passengers ranging in age from early 20’s to early 70s. Everyone mixed easily and also participated in onshore activities if they wanted to. The activities on offer were varied. Diving off the back of the boat was ‘A DREAM COME TRUE’ . Will hope to come back one day and would pick this exact same size and boat. Karen from Australia

Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the boat was clean and well run. Our tour leader Dino went out of his way to organise amazing extra activities and book restaurants etc. when requested. Particularly enjoyed our tour and meal in the village on our stop in Korcula. I didn't think the wine tour was really worth the money but enjoyed the other activities especially our swim stops in idyllic little bays. I was sad to say goodbye to Dino and the crew..

From the minute we were told on the app where to board our boat we were looked after. Food was excellent throughout the week and the crew endeavour to make our holiday fun and special. They all work very hard but in a very discreet way. Our cabin which was spacious was cleaned daily. The captain Frane very professional, Klara our host was amazing and kept us up to date with the events and movement of the boat and excursions. The deck hands and bar staff were all so friendly and the other guests we had such a lovely relaxing holiday but also managed to see so many beautiful destinations with this kind of holiday. I loved the variety and we have made many long distance friends as a result. Would highly recommend sail Croatia.

We can not speak highly enough of our time on Salve De Mare! We met and created friendships and memories and were treated so well by the Captain and Staff! Captain Franne found us the most beautiful swim spots! Our Rep Klara was funny, kind, knowledgeable and always on to help us, answer ANY question or request. Our servers/barmen Vlaho & Marco were awesome. Friendly, chatty, and efficient!! They are really good at their jobs! Chefs food was delicious!!! Lots of variety and creativity with the dishes- we were never disappointed! A huge shout out to Monika who mostly stayed in the shadows of the halls and cleaning up after all of us! And to the deckhands, your jobs are appreciated! Overall this is a trip we will never forget and thanks the crew of the Salve De Mare for making it happen’
