This was my first time with Sail Croatia! Definitely have fun memories for life from this week sailing! the people from this group ended up being like a little family especially the girls from my group the girlhood was so special! Every day was a new swim spot in beautiful waters and the ports were so cool exploring when docked, the food on board was quite delicious and the portions weren’t limited. Ola the tour guide of our party boat did a great job in keeping the group updated with recommendations, activities available and each days itinerary!! :) Each night was spent partying in a new spot and was very fun! There were a few birthdays on my week and the crew, captain and people on board were all amazing at making their birthdays feel special and celebrated with cake and birthday drinks and all! As a young person you have lots of fun connecting and partying with people around your age, I recommend! The only downside was the amount of mold spotted in the cabins and aircon vents.

We booked this sailing trip for the first week of September, paying £779, and overall I’d say it was a good trip for the price — but there are definitely some things I wish I’d known before booking. Arrival & accommodation We arrived and were greeted by a lovely host who showed us to our rooms below deck. This is probably the biggest thing I would flag for anyone booking. The rooms are very small, and the pictures online don’t really give you an idea of just how small they are. We were sharing a room with bunk beds, and there was no overhead space, so you couldn’t actually sit upright in the bed. We had read online that there was space underneath the beds for luggage, so we travelled with a suitcase expecting it to fit underneath. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough space. I spoke to the staff and initially felt that it was a bit of a “this is what it is” situation, but our tour host was very accommodating and offered us another room to use for our luggage. We were extremely grateful for this. In the end, I actually just stayed in the other room, which made more sense, and this wasn’t a problem. The rooms are also very dated and could definitely do with some TLC. The beds weren’t particularly comfortable either, and I wouldn’t describe the accommodation as luxurious in any way. That said, we managed and spent very little time in the room because we were out enjoying the destinations. Another issue was towels. The packing list we received said towels would be provided and that we didn’t need to bring our own. Once onboard, we discovered that standard ships apparently don’t provide them, according to the website. This was conflicting information and obviously too late to resolve once we were already there. Again, the host was very accommodating and provided us with bath towels, which we really appreciated. The sailing & destinations After lunch and the initial briefing, we headed off to explore our first destination. The recommendations from the host about where to go, what to see and where to eat were really helpful. The actual sailing experience was fantastic. The swim stops were a real highlight, and stopping at different places gave us plenty of opportunities to explore and experience as much as possible. We had enough time in each destination to do our own thing, which we really enjoyed. One thing to be aware of is that the engine is noisy. On our first morning, it woke me at around 6am. I went looking for a coffee, only to discover that coffee wasn’t available until breakfast at 8:30am. Again, the staff were very kind and made me one, but it’s worth knowing if you’re an early riser! We didn’t take part in the group dinners or organised activities because we preferred to explore independently and partying wasn’t really our priority. This wasn’t an issue at all. The host was very accommodating and happy to give us recommendations and information about each destination. One of the original stops was changed because of personal circumstances affecting the captain. The replacement destination was lovely, but it’s worth knowing that the itinerary isn’t necessarily set in stone, so don’t get too attached to the places shown when booking. Food The food was another positive. I wouldn’t say the food we received looked quite like the pictures on the website, but it was still really enjoyable and delicious. Breakfast had a good variety — cereals, yoghurt, fruit, meats, cheeses and eggs prepared differently each day. Lunch was three courses and could include things like crisps and dips, wraps, a really tasty carbonara, followed by cake, ice cream or another baked dessert. There was plenty of choice and we were never left hungry. The staff The staff were lovely throughout the trip — friendly, chatty, helpful and very accommodating. Nothing seemed too much trouble when we had questions or needed something. Our particular trip was relatively quiet, with around 15 people onboard, and we were told previous trips had been much livelier. Personally, I think we were lucky with the smaller group. The boat can apparently sleep up to 32 people, but I honestly can’t imagine 32 people being particularly comfortable in the available space. With 15, it felt like enough. The tipping experience The one thing that really left a sour taste for me was the tipping at the end of the trip. We were reminded several times throughout the holiday about tipping, including through the WhatsApp group, and were told that envelopes would be available for tips for the tour guide and boat staff. The suggested amounts were also mentioned. The day before leaving, we had to settle our bar bill between 2–3pm, as well as pay the €40 tax that had to be added. When I went into the dining area to pay, there were two very visible tip boxes showing how much money was being put into them. While I was paying my bar bill, the lady then pointed out the tip boxes and asked about the tips directly. For me, this felt quite pressured and awkward, particularly with several members of staff also in the dining room at the time. I completely understand that tipping is an important part of the industry and that staff work hard, but having it repeatedly mentioned throughout the trip and then being asked directly, with the tip boxes in front of you, made me feel uncomfortable. I came away feeling a little disappointed that this was how the trip ended. I would much rather have felt that tipping was completely voluntary and left to the individual’s discretion without the repeated reminders and direct approach. Overall Giving this trip a star rating is actually quite difficult because the different parts of the experience vary so much. The boat itself would be around 3/5 — it is very dated, the cabins are extremely small and it definitely needs some renovation. The staff were 4/5 — genuinely lovely, helpful and accommodating. The food was 4/5 — good variety and enjoyable meals. But the destinations and sailing experience were the real reason this trip was worth it. Being able to sail between different places, swim in beautiful spots and have plenty of time to explore made the holiday. For £779 in the first week of September, I think overall we got good value for money. You definitely get what you pay for, though, and I would recommend going into it knowing that this is not a luxury sailing experience. The boat is basic and dated, the cabins are tiny, and there are a few things where the information provided before booking could be clearer. If you’re looking for a more affordable sailing adventure, are happy to compromise on accommodation and want to prioritise seeing different places, then I think it’s a great option. Just go prepared for the small cabins, bring your expectations down regarding the boat, and enjoy the destinations — because that’s where this trip really shines.

We had a great time on the Mlini. The crew was outstanding particularly the food which was much better than expected. Toma was our guide and was a great guide and friend to everyone. They worked hard to make it a great week. They deserve a raise Few areas to improve on: inform passengers if they boat isn’t full. It’s quite disappointing when you arrive to find the boat is half full leaving much to be desired from the social aspect. Also, recommend decreasing the number of excursions and increasing the quality.

It was awesome we had a lot of fun, swim spots were awesome, the towns/cities were great. The crew were really easy to get along with and served quality tasting food. Only bad thing was the condition of the boat, it was clean don’t get me wrong, but the rooms were twice as hot as it was outside, (yes it was advertised there was no A/C) so there was no way to cool down and most people ending up sleeping outside on the deck during the night not using their rooms. And the shower amenities were pretty rough. We paid extra for an upper deck room thinking it would be cooler and less noisy, but it was the complete opposite, rooms downstairs were cooler and less noisy. I think if we had photos of the amenities and knew the condition of the rooms on the exact boat we were on, we wouldn’t have paid as much or gone at all. But don’t let that distract you from what made it worth while, all the people we met on the boat from guest to crew was definitely one of the highlights of the trip.

Holiday overall was great. Only comments would be to possibly offer other options than just clubs every single night. Everyone understood we were doing a drinking cruise, however seven nights of clubs in a row is a lot! I would’ve loved to have clean linens or at least clean towels offered to us, given that being below deck nothing dried and became very gross mildewy smelling. Lastly, if they would just include what they were feeding us each day, I think that would be helpful. I didn’t have many problems with the food, however being hungover sea sick and then handed mystery food made it a little harder to trust. Just announcing what the meal is would’ve made it a lot better! Otherwise great trip, lots of fun. Just wish swim spots were longer!

Marin was amazing, very friendly, professional and on-time, he made sure the day ran very smoothly. My experience on Tuna boat was mainly attributable to Toni, our rep. Toni was highly informative about the history and activities of each destination. His organisation of group dinners really helped for us to bond and make friends. Not only was he a rep, but he was also a great friend to all of us. I give all my praise to Toni!

I did really enjoy my holiday however I and the rest of my boat were a bit confused why we, as a party boat, would dock and stay in towns with either no clubs or where noise/time restrictions impacted our time and experience greatly. Our crew on big blue were always so fun and gracious. The rep, Diego, put lots of effort to get our group bonding by organising family dinners and always showed up for us, whether that was searching the town for place with working gelato, taking people to multiple pharmacy trips as well as the hospitals.

Average The biat was not like advertised and had many issues My too bunk was not working so we had to share a double bed, the bathroom had lots of plumbing issues including smell coming from taps and brown water leaks in bedrooms. We didnt even get to go to hvar wich was one of the main stops and instead didnt dock and anchored in the ocean for the whole day and no one was allowed to get off and no solution was made.

Had so much fun with a great bunch of people. Captain + crew were awesome. The facilities on the premium navigator cruise are actually really decent and surprisingly spacious. Worth the extra money, especially for AC. Side note; you will end up paying as much as the initial cost so be aware. However many of the daily activities are worth. Shout out Lauren for being an awesome rep.

Overall my holiday was incredible. The itinerary of the trip was well thought out and the places we visited absolutely beautiful. Our guide Josip was so friendly, inviting and informative. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience on board as well as in every town we visited. I really appreciated how he involved himself in the group and was a central part to everyone getting to know each other so well. The crew of our ship TVRDI were also a highlight, they were friendly, helpful and hard working and we all left feeling so grateful to have got to know them. My only negative experience on sail was the pricing of drinks, activities and recommended restaurants. As young people this experience is already expensive and while I believe the sail itself is well worth it there could be adjustments made to make it more affordable. I would’ve loved to have free or decently priced walking tours included in each place to learn more about the history, culture, and stories.

I enjoyed the week, our leader Vin was very good. I thought there were a lot of hidden costs not very transparent when booking the trip, we had way more inclusions with our last tour we attended with a different company and felt we got more moneys worth with them. Also disappointing that we missed out on two stops due to weather which is understandable however when other sail Croatia ships still go despite what we are being told it does raise some questions. The last day in particular we docked into Dubrovnik port a day early due to weather conditions and then missed out on our swim stop the next day as port authorities wouldn’t let our boat leave? We then found out other sail Croatia boats left for there swim stop which didn’t make much sense, the crew weren’t very transparent with us on the why. The whole last day of our trip was spent docked up, we were told we could go to the beach but then we had to pay 20€ for an uber to get there, frustrating when you pay money to be on a boat.

Make travel from boat to club/port/city centre etc included in the overall fair, or inform customer of these costs, pre-departure. Give a selection of restaurants for the customers to vote on to eat together. The restaurants chosen for use were very expensive were there were cheaper options available. Have the BBQ dinner included in the price paid for the week, not as an additional expense.

We had an amazing experience overall and truly enjoyed every moment of the trip! One of the standout highlights was our guide, Nour. She was absolutely fantastic—extremely well-organised, kind, professional, and always went the extra mile to make sure everyone felt comfortable and informed. Her knowledge and calm, friendly presence really made a difference, and we felt very well taken care of throughout. The excursions were varied and really well thought out, offering a great mix of activities to suit everyone. The rooms were also excellent—clean, comfortable, and a lovely place to unwind at the end of the day. If we had to mention anything for improvement, it would be the price of the drinks on board, which felt a bit high, and we would have loved more opportunities for swim stops, as those moments in the water were some of the most enjoyable. That said, it was a fantastic trip overall and Nour’s guidance truly elevated the whole experience. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Sail Croatia was a fantastic way to see the country at an affordable price. Firstly, I got extremely lucky with my guide, Noura. You can tell how well-versed, experienced, and caring she was in every way. I do not think my review would be the same if I had anyone else. The crew on my ship greatly improved the experience as well, the bartender Mateo was extremely fun and flexible, the chef was super talented and accommodating, and the sailor/captain were very friendly and felt like a part of the group. Overall, I’d come again but I would never choose a triplet. Realistically, it is not a triplet room and should not be advertised as such. The downstairs rooms were more spacious as doubles, literally. Claiming the lower bed is viable for two people isn’t ok, and especially frustrating since we had a smaller group and empty beds that could’ve been offered. Also, the party bus should be chartered. Everyone agreed it was a money grab that the company definitely could afford.

Firstly I would like to point out I have absolutely no issues with the staff whatsoever - they each deserve 5 stars as they were all so welcoming and helpful throughout the trip. Special mention for Marin, the best host we could have asked for arranged some great nights and made sure everyone was included. My main issue was that the week was poor value for money, the food was ok but I have to mention the BBQ night, 25 euro for what can only be described as a car crash. When I was offered it I was expecting a real bbq on the port but no - the meats (poor quality I’ll add) were grilled in the usual kitchen not on any sort of bbq - genuinely left me feeling ripped off. Drinks on the boat are extremely expensive for what they are, poor quality sprits other than real JD, and still charging full price. Excursions are overpriced we did the canyoning and it was not worth 75 euros at all. Any transfers to ports clubs or bars are always charged and EVERYTHING is cash only - disappointing.

My partner and I had a great week on Sail Croatia thanks to Lauren, Mateo and the other crew members. The weather was average but Lauren went above and beyond to maintain morale and organise alternative activities. The crew were very easy-going and friendly and we enjoyed learning about Croatia from them. Our only suggestion is to Sail Croatia directly - we think the itinerary could be improved. The Sail Croatia website states the white water rafting is available on the Split to Dubrovnik tour (which was not the case). We also would have appreciated more time exploring the towns as opposed to spending hours at swim spots.

This trip was seriously one of the best experiences ever! We had an amazing crew, a great group of people and we visited some of the most beautiful places! Our ship was so much nicer and more spacious than we expected, the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was amazing on those hot days! The swim stops were so beautiful and refreshing and exploring the islands and towns made for a perfect balance of a relaxing and activity filled trip! Dino and the rest of our crew were amazing, they worked so hard to make sure we had the best experience and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Dino was fantastic, he was so friendly and welcoming and it felt as though he genuinely cared about us, taking our concerns seriously and taking care of any issues that came up.

There’s wasn’t as many activities as I though there would be. The food wasn’t great and there was no food to snack on aka chips. I feel like since the towels weren’t drying they probably needed to be changed more often. My towel was wet all the time when showering. Sanja was great, crew were all fabulous. Sanja was well informative on each island and was very honest in which activity was better to do which was great.

I definately think our guide Toni made us having the best time ever, he was really good at making the group become one and making sure that we were all having a great time. I find it admiring to see how quick we was at always answering our texts and questions whether it was late at night or during the day and he always made sure everone was safe and good especially during the party nights. He was a real and honest guide who made sure that our money was spent right and we didn't waste anything, giving us good recommendations of what to do see and eat and what not to do. I wanna thank him and sail croatia for a fantastic week!!

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves sailing through the open water and swimming in the most beautiful spots. The boat was charming and the cabins (and en-suite) were clean and spacious enough. We went on numerous excursions (top 3 - canyoning, wine tasting and bike ride) but thought most were overpriced (€20-80) and could have gotten cheaper local deals. Additionally, there were a number of unexpected and unavoidable transfers, taxis/buses to pay for (€6-10 each). Meals on board were tasty, except if you were vegetarian (don’t expect any variety). The crew was polite, yet did not engage with us. The owner, Marjan warmly welcomed us on his ship, made the best pina-coladas & was a sniper at beer pong. Our rep Luiis was the friendliest and funniest guide who made sure we enjoyed ourselves every step of the way. He excels at relating to people and trying to meet guest expectations. Would sail with Marijan and Luiis again, but not convinced of the benefit of the Sail Croatia brand.

When I got on board and asked my host about these she informed me that the Cave Party in Makasaka wasn’t open and wouldn’t be happening (this was one of the reasons I booked with this company) there was no communication from the company prior to our trip to inform us of this. Even though they knew it wasn’t open as it was start of season. There also was no theme night on board the ship which we were under the impression there would be since it is quite commonly posted on social media amongst participants. We didn’t know anything that was happening until the day of which was stressful and made taking money out become a daily task. I do not like the fact that everything had to be in cash and there was all these extra hidden charges on excursions that were not explained before we left! Overall pretty disappointed in the sail Croatia company. Enjoyed my time but wasn’t as much fun.

Boat was a bit ordinary and not what’s in the photos and videos. Food was okay. Advertised that dinner isn’t included so assumed find something ourselves however it was organised every night which felt like we had strict time lines and did not have much freedom to explore. The dinners organised were overpriced and average. I don’t want to be eating Japanese on my first night in Croatia. I want traditional food and seafood!!! The night clubs we were taken too were small and pretty average and some overpriced!! 11€ for one drink is stupid. I also was charged wrong prices for my drinks on board, I ended up having to pay 30€ extra for drinks when I was just charged wrong. Ceili was amazing though! Best rep we could’ve asked for and she made the week so special! Have made friends for life

We were on the "Big Blue" ship, and to start with the only negative, the ship was smaller then we anticipated. The Navigator Cruise has 2 or 3 ships you can be put on depending on the price you pay. I would describe the accommodation has a hostel on a boat. However, this did not stop us all from having the best week, I would actually say it helped! Everyone was always together having chats, listening to music on the top deck, jumping from the top deck and making a memorable week for us. Lastly the crew and tour rep were all incredible!!! Highly Recommended 🥳

Had a good time on sail and enjoyed my time sailing through Croatia. Had a great group on board and an amazing sail crew on the boat. However, we got unlucky with wind and rain while sailing which limited swimming and excursions. Also got unlucky with a tour guide who showed little interest in making it a good time on the boat. He had no sense of fun and poor organisation and communication of daily activities. In my time travelling through Europe being on several short and long tours, he was the most disappointing tour guide I’ve ever had. Overall, I was very thankful to have a great group of other travellers on board who were keen to have fun and make best of an average situation.

We had 4 deck chairs between the 34 of us and 1 floaty. There were also no spare towels when they blew away while hung up. Those were the only downsides. But overall the girls and I had fun.

Sail Croatia was one of the best weeks of my life. We had an amazing group that was all super welcoming and ready for anything. Barb was an exceptional guide that was always smiling and willing to have a laugh with us. The crew on board worked so hard and did not stop cleaning up after us and making sure our drinks were full. Only down side is I didn’t realise how expensive the week would be. Bar tabs, excursions and tips and the end. The week itself is already not cheap and then there was a whole lot of cots that really added up. However, that is just small part. You can make money back but the experience was well worth every penny!

We were travelling with 7 friends on a boat of 30. The crew and staff were wonderful and the itinerary was amazing. If you plan on spending a relaxing 7 days this Sail isn’t for you, it’s a more of a 7 day bender with no let up. Our fellow sail mates were great fun and people on other boats also made the trip one to remember. However, the rooms and bathrooms were tiny, the free breakfast is irrelevant as no one is ever awake for it and the lunches were what I would describe as a 3rd world counties school camp. I would definitely recommend trying a KJU while you’re in Croatia!

Sail was an amazing experience. I want to thank Klara and the crew (Ivan and Fillip) for making it a very memorable week. Beyond the amazing crew’s efforts, I want to raise one very important consideration that Sail Croatia should acknowledge moving forward. In light of the premium price paid by each passenger, we all expected for more to be included as part of our wrist bands we wore around everywhere. We did not get anything for free with the wrist bands which was extremely disappointing. I recall friends of my mine previously doing the same sail in 2019 and noting that Carpe Diem entry fee being included, Mljet national park, Revelin and others being FREE. As is, the Sail is not cheap and I was shocked to discover the above were not included. Until Sail Croatia remedies these factors, I will not be recommending the experience to others.

Im just curious where my $1700AUD actually went. I understand maintenance, docking, wages etc of the ship is probably more than I anticipate. But the rooms were tiny, no space for luggage. Food was atrocious, i didnt bother eating it half the time. It would Not have Been Hard to offer a shower towel, or spare linen. I slept in my own sweat, salt and dirt for 7 days. We also had to pay for all transfers (water taxi, buses etc) even when I saw they were affiliated with Sail Croatia. Don’t get me wrong, I had an amazing week that I will never forget - but it’s the other customers on the boat that have made the trip memorable, not the company Sail Croatia itself. If all 30 people on that boat paid $1700AUD, that is over $50,000 AUD, which you are making every week. And for what? We still had to tip all the staff on the boat After as well because they rely on Tips. Like I said, the people on this trip made it worth it, not the company. Thanks for a fun week, lots to be improved on though

The people and staff on boat made my experience one of the best weeks of my life the activity’s were so much fun and the islands and towns we went into were beautiful even the group dinners were amazing but the only let down was the rooms on boat I’m not sure if all rooms were like that but to even class it as a room was ridiculous me and my sister could barely walk into our room before hitting the bunk beds, the so called “on suite” we paid extra for was a shower head over the toilet, it was so gross, the pipe works in the bathroom smelt so bad we tried to create airflow by opening the door but then the aircon we paid 50 euro for would turn off as soon as the door opened we had no space to open our suit cases let alone go climb onto the top bunk. After talking to people on board learning what we paid for a room like that I’m so disappointed. this is sail Croatias fault for false advertising you show the big white boat with so much space but that’s not what we got

Not only did we have the most amazing group of people who are now lifelong friends we had the most amazing crew on board. Ante our captain made us all feel very safe and comfortable. Gloria was a darling and always made sure we were fed and happy. Faruk was very knowledgeable and recommended some great activities for all of us within our budgets. Marin and Kula were so lovely and kind and always did Thier best to accommodate our needs. Boshco is an amazing chef and I have been missing his cooking since i left the boat. Will be bringing my friends who missed out back again next year and we will hopefully be onboard Vosicia again. Thank you all for such an amazing week. Xxxx

Quite a few things. The boat was disappointing. It looked nothing like the pictures and when we met people from another navigator boat who paid the same price we found out their boat was as advertised where as ours was not. Our boat was the oldest and was falling apart, the day that it rained, water was leaking through lights. Very concerning. Drinks were more expensive than advertised We also missed out on half of the excursions due to unscheduled changes in the itinerary and missed staying at two locations. We were only made aware this would happen because of weather but this was not the case here. The changes were very sudden and not well communicated and as a result we missed half of the excursions. Quite disappointing. We also found that on some excursions we were charged more than if you booked directly with the company. When we are already paying so much it was very disappointing to find out. The swimming, food and Croatia was beautiful, just unfortunate about the rest.

I had really high expectations going into this trip, as everyone who I’d spoken to around me who’d been on it had said it is one of the best things they have ever done. The first few days were good we didn’t see heaps and didn’t go out to many places as our guides recommendations weren’t great. Then once we got to Dubrovnik it went down hill. Our guide go angry at us for going out to the same club as them, he was miss treating his trainee. Speaking unprofessional and inappropriately to all members of the sail boat, he apologised for his behaviour but then had to apologise a second time in Dubrovnik again for acting in a similar way. I was extremely upset that I had played close to $2000 aud and the person who is meant to be making this trip amazing has not only apologised twice because of his poor behaviour but also given poor recommendations and service. He didn’t even say goodbye on out last day.

Would honestly do it again it was so much fun, the group we had was amazing. I just wouldn't do it in May so the weather would be better. We could only do 3 out of 12 of our optional activities because of weather and a lot of bars/clubs were closed still. The sail itself was amazing, not only were the crew and our host Mia so welcoming and attentive, there was plenty to see! The food on board pleasantly surprised me and we had a swim stop each day. The extra activities are loads of fun however some of them do overlap so you have to choose which one you prefer. If you are looking for more of a party boat definitely book in the peak season as I booked late august and we had a few chillers but that didn’t stop us from having a ball. Overall a great week, thanks again!

By not doing this we didn’t really get to know each other until the last night. Where as this should of been the first night, I didn’t know half the peoples names until later on in the trip. We had an amazing trip ! The boat was super clean. The crew ensured that the boat was always spotless. The crew was also very friendly and welcoming. Our guide mila was amazing. She was knowledgeable and went out of her way to give us tours of every place we stopped at. She was kind, funny, and made our trip the best it could be. She was organized without making us feel like we were at school. She brought the group closer. The food on the boat was cooked very well. Everyone enjoyed the food so much. I wrote on my application that I was vegan however on arrival it was not known. It would be better if there was better vegan options for me instead of the regular menu without meat. Some days all I could eat was cucumber and tomato. Also the chef used a lot of oil on my food. The food was cooked well but a load of oil was added all over it at the end. I am not used to this and it was hard to eat. Overall a great trip thanks to mila and the mali ante crew :)

Was a good mix of people on our boat and had a great time. Food was good and plenty of it. The only downfall would be all the extra costs that I incurred. Was very expensive to eat and drink off board and the extra costs onboard you don’t hear about (unless your into reading the fine print). You have to pay for AC, port taxes, etc. would recommend to a friend but letting them know you will need to be prepared to spend.

Dino our sail leader and all the crew were incredible, Dino was full of great island recommendations for all excursions, swim spots, bars etc so knowledgeable and was apart of the family on our sail! Cared for everyone and ensured the entire fam on the boat was having the best experience ! The crew took care of everything the fam needed and even organised us a bbq meal which everyone craved! We were super lucky with the other guests we got on our boat as they are what made our trip the 3 stars instead of a 1. The staff on our boat were so unorganized, uninterested and if I’m being honest just not up to the standard of a premier ship. It didn’t even feel like we had staff on board. Our excretions were either late or not booked and our food was always late and again not up to standard of what I was told I would be getting for premier. We had zero boat parties or group activities organized compared to another sail Croatia boat next to us. Brody who was leading the boat next to us was amazing he tried include us in as many activities as he could but he had his own boat to run. I give full credit to him for trying to include us. I also don’t appreciate people on the boat being messaged by the lead of our boat asking to give her a good review. If you want a good review them be a good boat host!! Definite room for improvement on this premier boat

From the moment we stepped on the Salve Di Mare it's fair to say we were very excited on what was to come. The boat was beautiful, clean and the rooms were air-conditioned and classy. Staff were incredibly friendly, led by our guide Julie who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire trip (not to mention great fun)! Food was incredible on the boat, a highlight being dessert for lunch! We had such a good crew with us and everyone was there to soak up the beautiful sun, swim in the crystal clear waters and have a good time. Small feedback would be that the pricier upper deck rooms were smaller than the cheaper rooms below. Needed a bit more time on the islands especially when we didn't go out to party the night before. However, from the moment we took off, we knew we had made the right choice sailing with Sail Croatia. If you have any hesitation, just book with the Salve Di Mare you will not regret it.

Well organised. Happy with the price. Made seeing Croatia very easy. Tour guide Dino was great. He was friendly, engaging, helpful, shared his knowledge and would explain were to spend money or where you would be ripped off. The breakfast and lunch is a great thing to have on the boat, loved having this, however the food was average. Had risotto 1 day for lunch and it was inedible, the rice was not cooked it was crunchy. The soups on the boat were nice. Alcohol on the body is expensive, 40 Kuna for an apple cider when you can get the same thing at a convenience store for 12 Kuna.

My friend & I were on the Marija Magdalena boat Split rtn Splt tour The whole experience was great, the crew absolutely fantastic, so chill, easy going & fun. And the food was great. Destinations were absolutely stunning. It really is one of the most beautiful countries. Our tour guide was Ioana, genuinely such a lovely person & exceptional at her job. Gave us detailed activities every day via the WhatsApp group with all the info needed.. I was lucky enough to spend my Bday on the boat which all the crew made really special with cake, ballons, banners & drinks. The ship itself had great facilities such as lounge chairs, outdoor eating areas ect The only negative thing I have to say is- 2 of our friends canceled on the day of the tour, we asked if one of us could take the spare room. It came back from the office that this was not possible which was dissapointing. During a pandemic i don't see why this should have been an issue. Experience would've been 5* if they allowed this.

The Sail Croatia was a great experience and a good way to travel around many of the Croatian islands and cities, however it was disappointing that given our tour commenced after Oct 1, many activities were closed. Some warning about this would be good to ensure expectations are met. Apart from this, the tour was fun, our leader did her best to give us brief historical overviews of Croatia as well as the various towns we visited and it was overall a positive experience.

Mumma T was so nice, energetic and welcoming! She was very good as she knew a lot about Croatia and had great recommendations and also shared interesting facts and information of the history of places we visited. We got on the Big Blu for the 5 day Navigator cruise. It was a lot of fun with a nice balance of activities, partying and relaxing at the swim stops. The boat was kept tidy and clean every day thanks to the boat crew. The crew were very sociable and great fun to hang out with. Shout out to Marko, Hicela and Mateo. I can see a lot of work goes into the smooth running of the sailing week. Would definitley return to the Big Blu.

Had an absolute ball, Croatia is truely breathtaking! The ship itself was awesome. Thank god for Rosa, Marko and Robi being so amazing because the other half and the tour leader sucked and were creepy. Ivan watched over me as I did my first review, making me uncomfortable and not being able to say how i truely felt, while questioning the generous 3 rating I gave him. He seemed like he didn’t want to be there and made a few of the girls uncomfortable. Sorry to be so negative, but I made some great friends and enjoyed then destinations.

Split return was amazing! The landscape was beautiful sailing along for the week, we partied at great places every night and the food was more than average considering the tiny kitchen they had to work with. We also paid the extra to be above deck but the fan in our room did nothing with the heat and during the afternoon the sun would beam down on our rooms making it impossible to sleep. I’d recommend going below deck because it is so much cooler down there at night. My only downer would be that out main tour guide was a bit lazy with the group. Compared to previous organised tours, it felt like he would just tell us where to go but had no involvement with us feeling a little disconnected.

Cannot recommend Sail Croatia more! It definitely exceeded all expectations and I’ve left with a tight nit family of 30 absolutely amazing humans. Our lead Duje was great at giving honest, helpful advice and the whole Crew always attended to our needs!

In all I had a great time on the Split Return - Navigator tour. We chose to go Premier and I was really happy with the boat and accommodation - very clean and spacious. Initially and at times during the week however, I found Sail Croatia staff to be unfriendly and rude. There were times staff burst in on our cabin which I found to be an invasion of privacy. Food was generally okay - would be good to have a menu provided for the week. The onboard BBQ was a highlight though - the food was great!! Should also not that the vast majority of passengers are from Australia (32 of 36 passengers on my boat) - obviously not an issue, just a slight surprise!

Probably would have made it more clearer how much the drinks were and felt a bit cheated on the tab. Personally don’t think I drank as much as they had written down but I guess that’s their way of making money, then getting the cold shoulder for not tipping them..? Overall good experience but that’s with the other people on the boat. If you do plan on doing sail Croatia, make sure you’re not on a boat with Zak.

The boat crew and tour lead made this an enjoyable week long party. It would have been nicer to maybe have more time in each spot, however that is a benefit of hindsight. Rooms are as you expect however the en-suites leave room for improvement. The common bathroom and shower areas are sufficient. Croatia really turned on the sun for us with great weather the whole trip.

When booking the sail I informed them about our dietary requirements when on the boat the staff had no idea about my dietary requirements. The staff were very helpful and accommodated to me but I think it is very poor communication from the sales staff who we booked through to the staff on the ship.

Pros: Met plenty of great people on our boat, swim stops in beautiful locations, scenic locations visited and clubs on offer for the north route. Cons: Expensive (Bar prices very expensive comparative to on land options considering you would rather sit on the boat and drink, maybe some more happy hour specials on popular drinking options not just the already expensive options.) Daniel was a fantastic host and represented the company extremely well. I had a great time and all the crew onboard were really nice. Bartender Ivana was always cheerful and full of life. Chef Igor was a great cook and a very friendly person. While I had limited interactions with the sailors, they were both very nice when I did see them. The boat itself was lacking in some areas. The toilets always had a terrible smell. I understand that sewage systems onboard are not great however the smell in our toilet at all times was unbearable. It was no fault of the company or people on board, but something to consider in the future. All in all, the trip was great!

The trip was amazing. The only suggestions I would make would be to have more chances to do optional activities. Most of the activities we signed up for ended up not going ahead due to not enough people signing up . The Tarin crew and Zach were amazing and really made the trip that much better.

Get a captain that actually likes young people seeing as it is a cruise for youth and partying. Staff members should be happy and willing to serve us on the boat, not treat it like its a hassle. When major stops are missed, equal opportunities or activities should be planned instead rather than wasting days at the same ports. The trip was disappointing.

Was an awesome week with a great group of people and staff. Our sail rep Bri was amazing. She was very helpful and organised in keeping our week flow nicely. We were always given a brief before each location and knew exactly what the plan was for each stop. It was also good to hear a little history of each stop as well in her briefs. The facilities, people and crew were everything i expected - sometimes even more! However I had hoped the activities were better explained and organised. I also hoped the food was much better, as I saw many images on Sail Croatia's social media which looked much better than what we got. But most meals were tasty. One thing i did not expect was how late we sometimes arrived on the islands, but again, i can understand that too, so was fine with it. I would just warn others not to expect to do/see too much on the islands as there often isn't much time at all between arrival, dinner and going out. Nonetheless - an experience I won't forget! This was my second sail. I loved the first one so I came back with my partner. Tea was amazing she made our experience even better. She was present, friendly and approachable. The boat was great as well as the captain. I do however have a recommendation about the bar. On my last sail we each had wristbands where each drink purchased was recorded on a computer system. This time it was controlled by the bar staff on a sheet where I and many of the other guests had been over charged. Even to the point where we took photos for proof and magically the numbers increased over night. I believe the bar tab should be in the hands of the customer and not the staff. This ended badly and effected the overall experience. I felt that it was cheaper and much better to buy drinks on the islands and not on the boat. Ivona was so lovely, Adriana could have been a bit more approachable and friendly. I am speaking as a guest who does not drink much (1-2 drinks a day on board). Thank you for a great time

From the very first day to the moment I stepped for the big the whole crew looked after us. We all had the best time with our crew and couldn’t thank Dan enough. We had rooms on the lower deck of the boat. There was constant smells of petrol in these cabins (even worse when it was rough seas because the boat motor was working even harder) ... it actually was a huge health and safe issue with it being so much gas at one point I had to go upstairs to get air because I felt so dizzy. There was not a running air conditioning( or air vents anywhere) that allowed for fresh air to be pumped into these cabins so it was really not a great experience to sleep/ stay on board. This wouldn’t be acceptable in Australia or New Zealand, as of the health and safety risks here but because it is Croatia this slipped by. Really not up to standards.

Sail did not exceed my expectations. There were far too many girls on board and it was a mess upon arrival with our towels stained. Our speakers were too quiet with none on the top deck - where everyone sat. The guide Zac did an amazing job with including each guest and ensuring everyone was happy. Not only was he professional and had great knowledge but was also considered a friend among the guests - who went above and beyond to help us create life long memories. The crew did a great job at making the guests feel uncomfortable. It was clear that they didn’t like Zac (as they had openly said to other guests). The bartender said that she wanted to get him kicked off the boat. Alena lied to us about the price of the bell shots compared to other boats, and spread false and inappropriate rumours about fellow guests and Zac around the boat. I’ve never experienced a tour-guide to put as much effort into his job like Zac, who excelled in high pressure situations with a large number of guests

The tour manager was great (zac) he was friendly, Informative and extremely caring for us and always went to extreme lengths to make sure we were okay by the end of the trip it really felt like we had all formed a special bond with him - it was really upsetting to see the crew on board treat him poorly and act in a racist manner making his job 20x harder. They crew were not welcoming to him and did not treat him as a part of the team which as guests we could see it dampened his mood however he still kept his high spirits to ensure we were having the best time - i really enjoyed my time on the boat but honestly the only let down was the crew - the captain was rude and the bar tender was only out to harm the tour guide (hiding his ipad, his tip jar and telling guest that ringing the bell was the same price on all boats) - the rooms needed to be cleaned lightly and we should of been offered fresh towels

Zac really made our experience 100 times better. He went above and beyond to give us as much info on the town as possible. He helped the group intergrade very easily with his down to earth, friendly personality. I found many times the crew to be working against Zac, and while he was doing the best job possible they did not seem to be cooperating with him and this made his job a lot harder then it needed to be. Many times I found the crew to be unprofessional, spreading information relating to Zac which was untrue and created an unhealthy environment for guests to interact. The captain was not very interactive with the guests. Our belongings were chucked in the bin before we had even exited the boat without any prior warning. We had a large group of 42 guests but Zac did an amazing job to create such a good atmosphere and resolve any incidents as quickly as they arose. If it wasn’t for Zac our time on the boat would Not be the same and I can’t thank him enough for the memories made :)

Daniel was a great tour manager and the crew were wonderful on our Split Return South sailing trip. We had such a great week! A favorite part was the swimming stops and if possible, more time would have been appreciated at those. The only other thing I would suggest is more communication. We were told at lunch the various schedules of the day. I think it would help if there was a “day sheet” or some sort of schedule hanging for people to refer to and take a photo of for reference. Contiki uses this and we have found it very helpful.

Sail Croatia week was one of the best weeks of our Europe trip. Although prepare your livers - there is a lot of drinking and partying in a different location each night. Great secret swim spots each day to wash away the hangover. Our Sail Croatia host Ivana on the Navigator ship was super helpful and informative! And shout out to our bartender Alena for her positive attitude and always making sure we were having a great time! Would not have been the same without these ladies!

Weather was amazing, our Captain took us to the best swim stops everyday (Go Tuna) which cured the hangover really fast, food was good, people were great, dinners were nice and the bars were very cool and quirky. We loved the tour! The swim stops every day were amazing, the lunch provided each day was exquisit. The places we went on the tour were so beautiful. The only thing that would have been good was knowing the layout of the day and what times everything would be. Also would say that in the boat we were in the room was super small which was expected. There is an aircon in the hallway and if the cabin doors are left open it does get cool. The tour itself and our manager were awesome. He had lots of facts and information about every place we were going. He recommended well priced places and knew a lot about the places we were in. Was a great time.

It would be good to have a profile of each boat online so we can actually see what we are paying for and what boat your going to stay in. I felt there was too many swim stops of doing nothing and not enough excursions. The alcohol on board was very little , the drinks were mostly juice very small measurements. A shower room would be essential, we were showering with a shower head in a toilet. The crew were amazing though and made it a great trip

Ana our guide was fantastic. She was absolutely lovely and so knowledgeable. She was always there for any of the passengers aboard when we needed her. I cannot say one bad thing about Ana. We all loved her. However the boat bartender was very moody and rude at times. Sometimes it felt like we were being treated like children. The crew did not interact much with the passengers and seemed like they didnt want to be there. We were given 1 towel to use for the whole week and it rained most of the week. It's pretty hard to dry a towel when it's raining and damp, we didnt appreciate this. Overall I still really enjoyed meeting all the lovely passengers and made some news friends that I will hopefully see again. The boat itself had broken stereo speakers and we werent allowed to play music at alot of the stops. Come on it's a party boat, music is a must people! Sail Croatia might want to consider hiring a new boat.

The staff onboard our cruise were some of the best people I’ve ever met, they worked so hard but still found time to joke around and have fun with us. Overall the trip was one of the best weeks of my travels so far! The other travellers on the boat were so much fun. I was nervous at first as to how I would go making new friends but instead I made a whole new family. However, I thought it was a bit cheeky that the clubs (main disappointment, Deep) advertised to us by head office weren’t even open at the time of our cruise so it was never going to be an option for us to attend... I would have preferred they had been a bit more honest with what we were going to have available to us at the time of year the cruise was offered.

I travelled with my partner (both from NZ), I’m 23 and he is 26. We went on a navigator cruise from Dubrovnik to Split. I highly recommend this cruise if you are young, love to meet meet new people and love to party. We had met an awesome bunch of people and also had a cool boat crew. For someone that usually gets unwell on boats I'm happy to say that I felt great on this sail. The Capatain was great, swim spots were so beautiful and we got to stay for a good amount of time. I loved all the little islands/towns we got to explore. The Sail Croatia crew on our ship Tuna were outstanding! My partner and I are both vegan and gluten free so I was hesitant at first to book but the chef and crew paid attention to our dietary requirements and provided the most yummiest lunches!!! We were so over the moon! A huge thanks to them!!! Our tour guide Mila was friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed going to secret swimming spots everyday to refresh and relax! Sail Croatia was amazing. The islands we visited were stunning and the daily ocean swim stops were so much fun. The staff were friendly and we made good friends with them and we felt looked after. We bonded so much with our group and every night going out together was heaps of laughs and good times. Unfortunately there was bed bugs on our ship and we gave one of the other couples our mattress after the crew didn't sort out the problem and they and many others had no where to sleep. That was the only negative.

This was one of the best holidays I have ever been on but being stuck on a boat with a bunch of teenagers was not what I signed up for!!! I highly recommend you take this trip as you get to see the best of Croatia at your leisure. The staff & crew of The Navigator were amazing. The food onboard was incredible tasty & beers even better. As a married man, along with friends who are also married, the only drawback was sharing the boat with inconsiderate, drunken younglings. This was by no means a cheap holiday & didn't sign up for a party every night. There should be a clear indicator of what age group you will be sharing your trip with. We were under the impression there would be no one under the age of 25 on our boat & this was not the case. Aircon was non existent but you don't really need it if you can keep your cabin door open. Due to the noise levels we could not. All in all it's a trip I will never forget & fell in love with Croatia like no other place in the world.

What I loved; - The price of things were very cheap compared to the UK - Loved sitting on the deck whilst the boat was cruising and taking in the incredible views - Crew were great and very friendly - Beautiful Cities Could improve; - Not enough swim stops, we didn't have any one day and on another we only had a 10 minute swim stop - Maintenace on the boat wasn't great, a few of the fans as well as the light at the back of the boat wasn't working, we needed to use our cellphones for light - Most of the lilos flew of off the back of the boat, other boats tied them up. - Beds were tiny, I'm tall so had to sleep with my feet out the window. - The shower head is an extension from the basin and toilet constantly smelt, not sure if the draining system wasn't great - Our boat cut the music and bar around 10ish where as the other boats went on later. All in all I would recommend it but improvements to the small things would make a big difference.

My experience with Sail Croatia was great although the boat we where was slightly under satisfactory. Our room although small and hot was forgotten when the 10-15kg port hole fell on my face causing a very painful and large bruise under my eye. There was also a small opening in the wall that caused an electric shock through my body. The crew, boat, and Sail Croatia representative where really great and made my experience amazing but, the safety at of the boat was something that needed to be reviewed.

I loved that apart from the party aspect of the sail boats there was also a really nice inclusion on history and knowledge of the places we were traveling to by our tour guides. Lara was so knowledgable and helpful if anyone had any questions. The whole boat of mala Kate had such great staff who were helpful, respectful and so much fun at night to party and talk with. Only downfall is that when the generator was off the rooms were incredibly hot and I had no way of charging my phone which meant I couldn't take photos of some of my experiences. Sail Croatia, how do I even begin to describe it in 1000 words. The destinations will take your breath away, and if that doesn't, jumping off the top deck of your gorgeous boat for the first time into crystal clear blue water will! You will eat the most amazing home-like meals and be served any drink you could possibly ask for. You've got a question? Our representive Vedron would have the answer, and if he didn't, he would find out before you even had the chance to ask again. He was caring, fun, down to earth and very organized making our experience on sail seamless. The people make it very special with excursions for you to bond and clubs for you to boogie. Our air conditioned rooms made sleeping after a big night out easy, and watching the sunrise on the top deck after stumbling home was a once in a lifetime opportunity. The Adria crew on the Ocean boat were flawless and we are stoked with their hospitality. Subanking, Adventuring, snorkeling and partying! OH & YOU MUST GO CANYONING!

The boat was not equal genders which effected the vibe. The tour leader could have been a lot better and overall it just wasn't as fun as we expected

My partner, Zach and I had an amazing time on our Sail Croatia. The country was absolutely stunning, with Hvar being one of the most beautiful places we have visited to date. We were extremely fortunate enough to have had a great group of nearly 40 people, all getting along and sharing travelling stories as well as different drinking games for fun. Both Zach and I have made several friends we intend to keep in touch with once back in Australia, including our guide Alex who was extremely friendly, genuine and such a caring person. We are very excited that she is moving to our home state in Australia and intent to keep in touch with her. She certainly made our experience on Croatia Sail one to remember forever. Thank you team Sail Croatia and especially you Alex. Zach and Tiaan.

Lara was a wonderful host! The rooms were much better than I had thought- cool temperature with private bathrooms. I was also very impressed with the food. Unfortunately, things that were not so good included our bar tender was very sour over the week, there was very little to do during the day except for tan on the deck and lastly, on the final night my wallet was taken with 600 kuna ($120) taken out of it which I have a strong suspicion was by the bar tender as a result of not tipping him.

Absolutely loved Sail Croatia. Would highly recommend the Navigator Cruise for anyone who likes to party and wants to make some new friends! The rooms were spacious and the food was good. 10/10

I loved the people in my boat group - most of us were all super friendly and made an effort to have a great time together. The staff on board were also amazing. They were so accommodating to our needs and I felt safe at all times. Croatia is a beautiful place with so many amazing places and swim spots

Our representative Caterina was extremely caring and very knowledgeable on everything regarding Croatia. She knew all the best places to see, eat and drink. Having a Croatian local really added to the experience! Swim stops in picturesque locations were a major highlight for me and my friends.

Ivana was a great representative for our trip! She made me feel welcome and guided us through the cruise well. I would suggest that the representatives go on the excursions prior to the trips so they can give the guests a better idea of what to expect and bring while away from the boat.
