The cruise was incredible. I felt at home the second I got on the boat. The staff was so friendly and everyone on our boat was as well. The boat was incredibly clean and luxurious. I loved how we had time in the morning to relax and then the afternoon to do excursions and explore. It was the perfect balance. Our guide Vicko was amazing! He had so much information to share and was always honest with his recommendations about what he thought were the best things to do at each stop. We all got along so well and I feel we made lifelong friends! I would 100% do another Sail Croatia tour again!

We chose Sail Croatia Explorer Cruise on the Salve De Mare as our summer family vacation with our 20 and 24 year old children. It was the perfect mixture of relaxation, sight seeing, adventure, and exploring. Our travel rep, Vicko, was awesome. He was always leading the way with great advice and direction. The crew of the Salve de Mare went above and beyond to accommodate and ensure everyone had a good time. The food and drinks on board were diverse and delicious. This was an intimate cruise with only 33 passengers and 9 crew. We truly came as strangers and left as friends. I would highly recommend Sail Croatia and Salve de Mare. We had a great time on and off the boat. We traveled as a couple with a set of friends. The hikes were good and guided very well by Illona and Martin. The only thing I would recommend to change is the fixed lunch as we could have enjoyed a few longer hikes without having to rush back for lunch on the boat. It was especially the case with the hike from Makarska after an hours bus drive to the national park. That day we also had the captains dinner on the boat so we could have had lunch on the mountain in the national park. All in all we had a wonderful holiday!

Not only was the location of the cruise stunning but the experience was made so much better by the crew of Salve de Mare and our guide Vicko. Every day was laid out for us in advance with advice on the best excursions and places to visit. The crew of the ship was always attentive and the food was delicious. Vicko was personable, knowledgeable and truly cared about our experience. Overall, the entire trip from start to finish was annazing and made for one of if not the best trips of my life.

My husband and I had a fantastic time on our 7-day cruise! Absolutely would recommend. Vicko was our Sail Croatia Rep and he was THE BEST - super friendly with great recommendations for excursions, restaurants, and a ton of knowledge about Croatia. This truly felt like a vacation because we didn’t have to worry about anything. We were on the Salve di Mare boat and the crew on the boat was top notch. Marko, Vlaho, and Monika in particular were so personable and friendly. They made our stay on the boat comfortable and fun. Also worth noting that I always felt safe on the boat (even when we had windy conditions our captain, Frane, docked the boat with ease).

With 3 20-something-year-old kids beginning to go in different directions, we were looking to explore Croatia together and solidify a vacation full of lifelong family memories together. I stumbled upon Sail Croatia as we looked for ways to see the coastal cities and islands. Boy, were we glad we did! An extra bonus was the ability to combine a bit of adventure and activity through a biking cruise. I can't say enough positive things about our experience on Mali Luka and the wonderful crew and captain. Our leaders Mila and Mario, were full of knowledge, experience, hospitality, attention to detail, thoughtfulness, kindness and a passion for the beauty and history of their country. The entire experience was top-notch. The meals and service on board were exceptional and delivered with a smile - always. My husband and I had the best time on our trip. We sailed on the Morpheus sailboat and thought the boat itself was perfect and so nice. We used the water toys such as the paddle boards daily and had the best skipper - Kiko. He took us to all the best islands and understood what we were looking for out of our trip! Could not recommend our boat or skipper enough. It was the best trip ever and we were sad to leave at the end.

The trip was easy to book, with lots of helpful tips and instructions on how to find to the ship in Split harbour. The itinerary was just perfect, island hopping everyday and stopping for swimming while spending a relaxing morning sailing and sunbathing on deck. Our tour host, Dino, made our trip truly memorable as well as the other guests we spent our week with. Dino was amazing, such a delightful guy. Our group is still messaging each other on the WhatsApp chat that Dino set up. We were informed each day of what to expect, what we could see, what time we were setting off, where to eat, drink, best places for anything that any guest was looking for. The holiday was a delightful balance of being well looked after whilst freedom to see/do as much as we wanted. Remember to bring more long-sleeved clothing if travelling in May as evenings are cool. Lunch was a tasty 3-course cooked meal which I would have preferred as a buffet selection personally. Definitely recommend the trip!

Dino our cruise manager was exceptional! He was friendly, knowledgeable,,patient, helpful and good humoured for the entire week. We were a small group that could have made things difficult but he expertly drew the group together and was fundamental in ensuring the weeks success. The boat was beautiful and well kept, the Captain and his crew made us feel well cared for and the meals prepared on board were delicious!! All in all a really excellent time!! We will certainly recommend.

Dino immediately set the tone of our journey — enjoy our wonderful country, learn our history , be safe and ask any question. He was very experienced. The ship was very nice, food was fine , crew was nice, cabins cleaned great . . . but the real credit goes to our cruise manager , Dino . Without a great cruise manager , this would be a very different journey . He was a good listener , gave great suggestions , used What’s App effectively to stay connected with everyone and was sincere . Bravo.

The Split return to Split itinerary was excellent and allowed us to see many islands and mainland cities.. Dino, the cruise manager communicated clearly, was organized, helpful, enthusiastic and upbeat. He was always available knowledgeable and entertaining.We couldn’t ask for a better manager! Dino guided us to incredible experiences such as the Hora Farm dinner, and also to restaurants and sites in each place we stopped. The crew on the Romantic Star was helpful and professional. The ship was clean and the accommodations were good. I would recommend Sail Croatia to anyone traveling to Croatia.

We just completed our 7 day cruise with Sail Croatia aboard the Romantic Star. We made new friends with people from around the world who enjoyed the food, sun, and wine in Croatia as much as we did. What made the trip special was having Dino assigned to our boat as the cruise manager. He was funny, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to book optional dinners and activities that were special and unique experiences. He also providing valuable information and suggestions throughout the day which was immensely helpful. Our group’s ages were mixed, 40s to 80s, 3 generations and 3 nationalities. Cruisers were similar in being interested in where they were and also relaxing. All enjoyed a drink. Group size was good, enabling interactions with a range of people. People met up in wine bars and restaurants to share stories and compare their travels. It made for fun times. Our guide, Klara was great. She gave clear presentations & shared information electronically on the highlights of our next island and what to see and do there. She always answered questions clearly and provided links eg on laundries. Boat spaces were good, most people enjoying the sundeck daily. Swim stops were well organised with easy water access . Range of activities offered was broad. I loved all the islands. They differed in histories, attractions, opportunities and atmosphere.. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was great, Enjoyed the Captain’s dinner, would have liked to hear him speak more about our lovely boat.

Where do I start?? From the meticulously clean boat to the abundance of tasty healthy food to the awesome staff who couldn't do enough & went out of their way to help to our tour guide Nicos! And we haven't even mentioned the beautiful Croatian islands that we stopped at all bursting with centuries of history & hidden restaurants & wine bars. If it hadn't been for Nicos we would never have found some of these gorgeous places. A special mention goes out to crew member Max who apart from serving our meals & keeping us well hydrated, he so kept us entertained. I was not sure about going on a cruise with 30 total strangers but it was one of the best weeks & one I will not easily forget.

From booking to check out, Sail Croatia ran a well organized operation. On arrival at the boat our bags were loaded onboard and we were greeted by the captain. Our guides for the bike rides, Mila and Mario, were excellent. They explained the trails and provided history and information on the places we visited. We were pleasantly surprised by the food at all meals, it was delicious and fresh. Thank you chef! The crew took care of us at all meals and in between (thank you Halim and Donche). We had the greatest experience. From the time we booked our trip, then embarked and met Mia at Port Gruz our Tour Manager, every part of the trip exceeded our expectations. The ship, Olimp, was luxurious in every detail. The Captain and crew were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and every one of them were kind and courteous. The trip itself was brilliant, Croatia, their islands and stunning coastline are all breathtakingly beautiful. Thanks to Mia and the crew for making our trip so memorable.

Took this trip with my family as a last hurrah before my sister gets married. It was everything and more I could have hoped for! I truly believe it was the best way to see Croatia. We did the cycling cruise and visited so many incredible places on the islands we wouldn’t have been able to see otherwise. Our boat was always clean, the meals were FANTASTIC, but what really made it was the crew and our cycling guides. Haleem, one of our crew members, catered to every need and was always around to chat with us or teach us a new card game. Our cycling guides, Mila and Mario, were so knowledgeable and made sure to always provide us with the most out of every opportunity. Would do this trip again in a heartbeat!

Just back from a fantastic week aboard Dionis. Our guide, Ivica was so knowledgeable and being Croatian, he had so much local knowledge.. The routes were a great mix and being the Split southern route, some aspects (on a push bike rather than e bike) were challenging but that’s what I wanted! Ivica always checked in with everyone to make sure we were all enjoying it. I spent most of my time at the back of the group, where our guide Calum kept me motivated and made the hills less of an issue by playing some cracking tunes! We had lots to chat about and plenty of laughs! Our group (8) quickly bonded and we enjoyed meals out as well as cocktails at Massimo cocktail bar in Korcula. The crew on board Dionis were all excellent and looked after us so well. There was so much food! The best way to spend a week - waking up in new ports and exploring on 2 wheels is so much fun. Croatia is beautiful. Enjoyed the swim stops (although the sea is cold in May). 100% recommend this.

What a fantastic week in Croatia, cycling with a wonderful group of people. Our leads - Ivica and Calum were brilliant so knowledgeable always making sure everyone was ok, very helpful for dinner bookings they would organise this for us. I cannot fault anything it was just simply amazing. I would highly recommend it. The cycling helped us go to places we wouldn’t normally visit. We got information about each place we cycled to and the dinner stop at Gazul on day 2 cycle was truly spectacular. The group chat each day and morning briefing was so useful explaining the ride ahead, The ship Dionis was so nice and the crew were so friendly, the food served was divine. Best vacation of my life! The people of Sail Croatia as well as the people of Croatia were so friendly and accommodating. The boat was big, spacious, clean and beautiful! The islands were amazing and the bike rides beyond fun and exciting, but most importantly was the crew of our boat, our hostess and especially our cycling guide were all off the chart wonderful! Everything about this trip was incredible. Croatia is a beautiful country and traveling on Sail Croatia gave us the opportunity to see so much of it, including small islands that wouldn't be easy to reach. Our tour manager, Anita, and the crew of the Almissa were all wonderful. Fellow passengers were easy to get along with and you could choose to spend as much or as little time as you wanted with others. Highly recommend!

The islands were beautiful and the combination of sail and cycling was the best way of seeing them. We saw so many incredible and interesting things. The cycling was more challenging than I expected but the group and the guides kept us all going and the achievement of completing the rides on a pedal bike with the amazing views of the islands was special. We were lucky to be part of a small group of 8 passenger from UK and USA. Everyone got on so well and made a great group that added to the experience. Ivica was a great lead guide with so much experience and local knowledge, he was friendly and looked after the group. Calum kept the fun coming with good stories, playlists, and the best recommendations on where to eat and drink. The Dionis was a lovely boat with a very happy and friendly crew, we felt very comfortable and looked after. The meals on the boat were amazing and kept us fuelled up for the cycling. Our first cycling holiday but won’t be our last.

A superb way of seeing a beautiful country. The Split Northern route is, as advertised, comparatively gentle. The scenery is stunning (Krka National Park and Trogir are highlights) and our guides (Lola and Tonka) were friendly, helpful and professional. Our cabin was comfortable, food on board variable (but you won't starve), fresh water available at all times. We didn't feel the need for ebikes but the "ordinary" ones certainly are very ordinary! Inevitably different people want different things from a trip. For us, we would have preferred longer in Trogir - it's SO beautiful, second only to Korcula in our opinion. We would have liked tea and coffee available at all times on board. If Sail Croatia added a few pounds to each booking (to cover the cost) no-one would know - or care. This was our third Sail Croatia trip which speaks volumes. We highly recommend both the company, their staff and the whole concept.

We loved our adventure aboard the Salve di Mare and the time spent with new friends. The other passengers were easy to connect with and lots of fun. The crew worked seamlessly to keep the ship sparkling, anticipated our needs, and made everything look effortless and natural. Together they created a fun and relaxed environment. Tour manager Ioana was enthusiastic and upbeat. She ensured we understood the logistics for upcoming activities and provided alternatives for those who needed to skip a hike. Hike leader Mate shared his knowledge about Croatian culture and Island history. As an experienced local hiking guide with a background in Search and Rescue, we knew we were in good hands as he led us to beautiful vistas and interesting historic locations. Sail Croatia was informed of my food allergies in advance. The chef provided creative alternatives and the waitstaff made sure I received the right items. The entire cruise was top notch due to the exceptional staff!

The most amazing week on-board Tuna. Ceili was an awesome tour guide - engaging with the group and showing us the best of Croatia; as well as giving us the necessary history and keeping us on-time. The captain took us to the most beautiful swim stops and Leo was fabulous behind the bar mixing up cocktails!! Toper was always quick to assist when needed and Maren made up tasty meals. We had a great group too and nobody was left out. A week that I won't forget anytime soon and will hopefully be back in the next few years!!
