Our unforgettable holiday on the Salve Di Mare has come to an end, we’ve met some wonderful people and discovered beautiful, captivating places, lots of swim stops with an opportunity to leap into the sea. We’ve been spoilt with exceptional service fantastic food and not having to plan the next days adventure. Our time aboard Salve Di Mare far exceeded all we hoped for. Meeting lovely folk & enjoying their company whilst sailing the Croatian Islands. Every day a new destination with recommendations for activities & places to eat. Swim stops every day were great fun & being able to use the kayaks & SUPs a bonus! Our rep Vicko was the best! Not enough stars for the crew on the Almissa yoga cruise. The welcoming from the first day til the sad last day! Dora- our breath of fresh air. Goes above and beyond. Whatever you needed she was there. Chefs- I have never ate so well on a holiday. Still want the recipes! Deckhands- so funny and handle the boat and tinder expertly. Cezar and Kafka - Bartenders/Maid /servers- we kept you guys very busy and you were top notch! Captain Josef- great honor to sail with him. He is a master of his craft. My week aboard the Almissa was exciting, active and very memorable. I was a solo traveller but made friends very quickly with my fellow passengers and with the crew. All had stories to tell and I was happy to listen. I booked on the yoga cruise as I needed to sale on those dates. I did do yoga and aim to continue when my holidays are over. Prior to my holiday I hadn’t done yoga before. Dora the Yoga instructor and activities Manager led the class well. I fell asleep so relaxed after the first session. I loved swimming and chilling at the swim spots, enjoyed challenging myself by jumping off the 6metre high roof deck with the other dare devils and it was great when the captain and crew joined in for a swim or a jump over the side or a paddleboard. During one conversation with the captain, on the night of the ‘Captains Dinner’ we talked about the ongoing maintenance that is done during the off season to keep the Almissa looking so good. She looked spotless start to finish.

Being on the ship felt like being at home with the hospitable crew (tour guide Marin, waitors Ivana & Neno, cleaner Joy, sailors Charlie and Tino, Kristijana boat manager, Captain Slavko& chefs Bane and Marko) The size of the group was perfect and felt intimate. Swimming off the dock into the ocean was a highlight. The meals were luxurious. Tour guide had a wealth of knowledge.

Overall wonderful way to see Coastal Croatia and would definitely recommend. Mario was our tour guide and he was amazing, really helpful and kind. The crew were great. The boat itself was outdated but nothing that affected our holiday. Food was good overall. Great itinerary and overall we had a lot of fun. Couple days towards the end felt a little rushed. Even earlier breakfast and very short swim stop to get to islands which there was nothing to do on. Would have appreciated better and longer swim stops on those. Customer service was great helping answer questions and booking. Overall definitely recommend the cruise.

I knew this trip would be once-in-a-lifetime, but the Contessa crew exceeded every expectation! We thought everything was pretty much spot on. The Ship and staff were excellent. Our only negative was the timing of breakfast and lunch, along with the swim stops. We understand you have to adapt the schedule each day to cooincide with when you have to be at the next Port. But for the most part in chatting with our shipmates, we felt like....hurry and get up for breakfast, hurry and eat, go for a swim....but we just ate....hurry for lunch....then we typically need time to digest. We have 3 or 4 hours between breakfast and lunch......then 6 to 8 hours between lunch and dinner. It just felt like the meals on board could be stretched out longer and not rushed. The Bar, when ordering a drink, please serve the alcohol that is listed on the menu. Those are our only negatives, otherwise we totally loved the small ship cruising experience. Special thank yous to Yolana in the Salon, and Joy the housekeeper. We found out late that she is a massage therapist..too bad that service was N/A

Unique experience was heightened by the crew: their smiles, going above & beyond without request, delicious food (accommodating allergies & preferences too). Favorite memories: Sailor Tino serving as cocktail server delivering to our "floating bar" we created utilizing the paddle boards during swim stops. Bartender Naeno remembering my drinks from day 1 - am manually making my fresh iced tea from brewed & pm chardonnay w/3 ice cubes. Great conversation & genuinely cared to get to know people. Bartender Joanna sweet & accommodating even when I was being "extra". Attendant Joy for keeping our cabin clean-constantly replacing bathmat & folding clothes, etc. Our space cozy and spotless too. Director Vin was funny even when he wasn't trying to be. Tip to future guests: Do not start a drinking game where you drink anytime he says the word "ALSO". If ya know, ya know. Don't forget Sailor Charlie - ALWAYS cleaning the yacht. Have a chat with him about where he's lived too.

It would have been nice to explore the towns in the morning and then do a swim stop after lunch when it was extremely hot. I also wish there was more excursions like jet skis or fishing. We enjoyed our trip tremendously. We have never been on a cruise. This is the best way to give a cruise a try. It’s a smaller cruise boat with only a handful of people and crew. Great bar with attentive staff. No disco and thousands of people swarmed by a pool. The food was very good. It was the perfect balance of action, adventure, sightseeing and relaxation. The private swim coves were one of our favorite parts of the day. Our coordinator Klara was amazing. I know it’s her job to be friendly but I truly felt like she really enjoyed our group and wanted to hang out with us. I definitely recommend Sail Croatia. We may even try their Greek Island tour…only if Klara is the coordinator.

We were blown away by the end to end experience w/ Sail Croatia— thoughtful stops, daily swimming, excursions + dining reservations made in advance on your behalf. We are busy working parents juggling robust school + sports schedules. Once we got onboard we left all the logistics, planning, navigating to Sail Croatia and were able to miss many of the crowds commonly found across Croatia in August. Our tour manager Hana is an ace at her job and brought in enough history / cultural overview to keep the teenagers interested. Food was beyond expectation and accommodating of allergies + preferences. Cabins were clean and well appointed. We will be re booking this holiday! 5 stars.

Sailed on the Contessa. The cabin was wonderful with lots of storage. Suggest having a top sheet on beds and a shower mat as floor is slippery. Loved all of the ports and time to swim in the Adriatic! Wonderful crew. Requested an itemized bill at the end but said they don't have a printer. The food was amazing! Fresh fruit everyday, pastries, eggs etc. Lunch was bountiful! The presentation of meals was 5 star! Loved the view from the top deck and all around the ship. A small thing, but maybe a sign upon arrival posting Welcome to ...(port). The crew works very hard and the ship is immaculate. I'd highly recommend. A fantastic experience. 10/10 for Sail Croatia. This trip exceeded my families expectations. The tour manager (Hana) and crew were excellent - informative, fun and lots of attention to detail. I don’t have the words to clearly express how amazing the Almissa cruise was. I’ve travelled a lot and met many wonderful people, however Hana, our Tour Director, was special and will linger in my memory. It’s easy to provide information but Hana was honest about what was available to see or do and determined that everyone would have something they liked, but most of all she enjoyed every single person on board, listening to their stories about life and experiences. What a wonderful person! Sail Croatia is lucky to have her. The rest of the crew was also amazing, our Bartenders (aka waiters) were hilarious and so sweet, they genuinely wanted everyone to have a good time and it showed. The entire crew was amazing led by a Captain that knew when the winds were shifting and seas might get rough! The food was excellent, the Almissa is a beautiful sailboat. I loved my room, excellent comfortable bed. Would I go again? In a heartbeat, but I’d go because of the crew!!

One of the most amazing weeks! The crew were incredible, the meals were delicious and the boat was so comfortable and clean. I love that we had swim spots everyday, the crew and guides were so helpful and gave so many Suggestions but you could also do as you pleased when you docked. The group chat meant we had our itinerary for the day and knew what our options were and when things were happening. A very easy way to see a lot of different islands, meet people and enjoy Croatian summer . Highly recommend if you love the ocean and want to see lots of the islands in Croatia 🇭🇷

We had a great week aboard Princeza Diana. The crew were attentive and our host Ana very knowledgeable. Some great excursion options. A small group of 15 which actually made the week as we all got to know each other so well and all clicked. Highly recommend. I would say though when asked if you have dietary restrictions, if you don’t like fish or tomatoes worth saying as they are very much apart of the meals. Overall meals were good.

If you are considering a Sail Croatia trip, take the plunge and go! We absolutely loved our experience from start to finish. (We departed Dubrovnik on July 4 and ended in Split - Explorer.) The itinerary was the perfect combination of beautiful destinations, swimming, adventure, culture, food, and plenty of time to relax and enjoy the incredible Adriatic coastline. What really made the trip special, though, was the experience of traveling with a small group and the dedicated crew. Of our 31 travelers, 11 were international (Scottish, British, Spanish, Australian, South African), with the rest from the US - and all were awesome humans! With Josip as our guide, and the Salve Di Mare crew caring for us all week, we enjoyed every minute with all our new friends. And the ship is perfection! Our week on the Almissa was amazing. Great food, staff, rooms, common spaces and other guests. The itinerary was excellent including a variety of activities and swim spots. A truly unique and special way to experience Croatia and we have no hesitation recommending the Almissa. The Sail Croatia communication was good in the lead up to the tour. A few things to note as feedback. Make the end of tour survey anonymous to get honest and useful feedback, carrying cash is a pain now for tourists - the fact everything on the boat and the extra tours and tips are to be paid in cash is inconvenient. Towels on the ship could be replaced - they are getting a bit old. Provide tea and coffee after lunch for free. This would be a small inexpensive thing to include - many international guests like their coffee and tea in the afternoon. 3 Euros for a cup of tea is way over the top. Finally the tipping recommendation appears out of step with what the cruise cost is. Small suggestions.

Our Sail Croatia cruise was one of the best trips of my life! My husband, our adult kids, and I all agreed it was an unforgettable experience. The ship was beautiful, our cabin was spacious, and it was meticulously cleaned every day. The food was outstanding, and the entire crew was friendly, welcoming, and always eager to help. A special thank you to our tour manager, Dino. He was incredibly knowledgeable and gave excellent recommendations at every stop, helping us make the most of each destination. Although our itinerary changed slightly due to weather and docking conditions, it worked out perfectly. We visited Jelsa, which ended up being our favorite stop of the trip! The swim stops were absolutely spectacular, with crystal clear water and breathtaking scenery. If you're considering Sail Croatia, don't hesitate. It was an incredible experience, and we would do it again in a heartbeat!

We went from Split to Dubrovnik over 7 days on Esperanza with our guide Sanja. Not only were the ammenties on the boat outstanding, but the staff, food, and drinks were all 10/10. The locations were stunning, the crew and fellow passengers were fun and engaging, and the food was imaginative and delicious (but not too crazy for our picky eaters). Positives- The food and dining service were excellent throughout the trip. The information shared about the islands, local attractions, and recommended activities was very helpful and enhanced our experience. Hanna was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and always willing to help with restaurant reservations and excursion bookings. Her assistance was greatly appreciated. Overall, we were very satisfied with our cruise experience and had a wonderful time. Areas for Improvement- We noticed that some staff members were smoking in or near common guest areas. Relocating smoking to designated staff-only areas would help create a more comfortable environment for guests, especially those who are sensitive to cigarette smoke. One bartender, Cesar, came across as less welcoming than the rest of the crew during our interactions. A more friendly and approachable demeanor would further enhance the overall guest experience.

We loved our time with Sail Croatia. When we booked our trip we weren’t sure what to expect. We had never taken a trip on a small boat cruise before and are not really fans of large cruise ships. But from the time we boarded till well after we got off, we completely enjoyed our experience. The crew were attentive and fun. The other passengers were a great mix of personalities. And our cruise director, Klara, kept us both informed and entertained, she even got us a reservation for 21 at Massimo Cocktail Bar on Korčula. I looked forward to the daily swim stops, always at a picture perfect beach, and each town we visited was unique and memorable. I cannot recommend Sail Croatia enough. We are already planning our next trip.

You never know what to expect with 35 strangers but this mini 7 night cruise exceeded all expectations. We were warmly greeted and had ample time to mingle or do our our things. We were provided with numerous options for eating out and placed to visit at each stop. The on board food (breakfast and lunch) were plentiful and the swim stops along the way were so dreamy and refreshing during our hot week on board. The rooms were well spaced with ample storage for our 2 large and 2 small cases and the A/C kicked in well at night. Our main host Andro was exceptional and his command of the English language made everything seamless, closely followed by the diligent boat crew . We had so much fun, lots of drinks and laughs with guests and plenty of time to really unpack and unwind. I felt safe, my belongings were secure and we strongly recommend the Tempera to those looking for adventure, unique beauty but ample time to chill out.. There are a few deserving tips and taxes to factor in though.

Croatia is beautiful, I loved all the islands, Stari Grad and Mljet National Park were highlights. Tempera is due for a refurb next year, it's fine, but it does need some attention. The crew were great. As a pescatarian I was catered for, but hot breakfast items were all in the same serving dish - eggs tasted of sausages - I can cope with that, but many wouldn't. Overall, thoroughly enjoyable.

My wife booked trip for our 20 year anniversary -Amazing experience from start to finish and all excursions and plans seemed to function seamlessly like clockwork! Impressive food, stunning locations + lots of swimming! We had such a great time! Boat and the crew were perfect! We sailed on the Esperanza on an explorer tour., Clean rooms very spacious and comfortable. Our tour guide Lola was absolutely awesome! Very helpful, made local calls for us to sort out what ever was needed. From breakfast to daily swim stops and then the 3 course lunch made the trip. We traveled with our kids ages 21 and 18, they loved the trip. I really had no complaints, the whole week. The other guests aboard were truly amazing and kind people from Australia, UK and the states. Just a whole lotta fun relaxing with like minded folks.

We travelled on the Tempera Explorer from Dubrovnik to Split. Our guide Lauren was both professional, informative and fun from the 1st day to the last. Meals could not be faulted nor either the bar staff or chefs. I had the best week on my Explorer cruise, the Almissa! I am a 28 y/o female and was traveling solo, and I was worried about having other solo travelers and people my age there, but it worked out perfectly! There was a large age range on the boat (late 20s to early 70s), but everyone was so fun and we all got along so well. We felt like family by the end! I was a bit nervous to book because there weren't many photos online of the boat and the agents I chatted with and emailed beforehand were very unhelpful. However, once I arrived, the crew was awesome and the boat was beautiful. The cabins were way bigger than expected and the common areas had been renovated! Breakfast was mediocre, but the lunches were overall impressive. I am gluten intolerant and I was incredibly impressed by how well they handled this and adapted meals for me. I will say, drinks on board are very expensive (€5 for a coke and €15 for a cocktail), but they were good. I've already recommended this to my friends!

I was apprehensive about travelling solo but needn't have been concerned. From start to finish this holiday exceeded my expectations. From the fantastic ship itself to the onboard crew, all operated like clockwork but with a very relaxed and flexible vibe all week. Sasa, our tour manager, had fantastic knowledge of each island we visited and kept us updated with the plans on each day via WhatsApp. The islands visited were amazing & the sailing and swim stops during the day were just so relaxing. The food onboard made by our chefs, Bojan and Zodojka was outstanding. Our two waiters Marco and Vlaho were also amazing and funny and went above and beyond. My cabin was super cool & very quiet each night (lower deck) and was thoroughly cleaned by Julia each day. I haven't slept so well in years! If you want to join others for chats and fun then you can, if you want to be on your own & relax, then you can - no pressure, just do what you want. I did a bit of both.

This was are second Sail Croatia cruise. The first was fantastic. Out second was on the Contessa, and it is a new boat. As with some new things, such as homes, boats, there is a pick up list of things that need improvement. In our case there were three issues. The AC was not working well and basically managed the room to 30 degrees Celsius, the boats internet was very limited, only working in the dining area, and that was food quality and taste was average. One of the driving forces besides the beauty of Croatia of our return was exceptional food quality, preparation and value in our first cruise. The chefs were amazing, tantalizing us with great appetizers, main courses and deserts. Although an effort was made it was not near the level of our first cruise. I imagine Sail Croatia will rectify these start up issues but want to present the facts as they were for us to future customers.

This was one of my best vacations and have been all different size boats. It was very relaxing atmosphere and excellent way to see Croatia. Wake up have breakfast, anchor in a bay and have a swim. While having lunch the ship travels to the next port for you to enjoy. The nice thing is you get to enjoy dinner in port and are not rushed backed to the boat as it’s there for the night. Our guide Sasa kept us informed on a daily basis on what was happening for the day and things to do and places to eat. Great job. The bar staff Marko and Vlaho were great bartenders and hard workers always ready to get you whatever drink you required great job guys. Our house keeper Julia did a great job cleaning up after all of us on the boat. Now I get down to the food cooked by our chef Bojan and sou chef Zodojka which was outstanding. The crew lead by Captain Frane and crewed by Bojan and Zodoyka did a great job getting us to were we needed to go and docking the ship even in tight situations. Great work

I was somewhat disappointed and felt the overall experience to be a little lacking. While the air conditioning failed in some cabins and the crew did what they could to fix it was understandable, one guest complained and the Captain felt it necessary to berate all guests on board at dining. The excursions were less than what was advertised. The swim time was extremely long and cut into time that could have been spent on shore. We scheduled a pick up through our ship from our hotel to the ship for departure and then were not allowed on the ship for 2 hours in an area with no shelter, shopping or bathrooms. The coordinator of excursions missed the mark on helping acquire e-bikes along with knowledge of restaurants and distances to attractions. There were not enough deck chairs for the number of guests. The jacuzzi was filled only twice. Coffee was only available during breakfast hour or had to pay for it. Overall, the experience was not what we had hoped for or planned.

Sail Croatia does an amazing job. We loved everything about our trip and would definitely sail with them again. Sail Croatia is an amazing value, they make everything easy, all you have to do is relax and enjoy yourself. The boat was wonderful and the cabins were larger and more comfortable than I expected. The food was excellent and much more than advertised. Breakfast was varied every morning with a nice variety. Lunch was an excellent 3-course meal each day and everything was delicious. The team on board does an excellent job of making you feel relaxed and comfortable and you can tell they truly take pride in their work. Each swim stop was well thought out as far as location and each time offered a unique and beautiful location to enjoy. The boat offered plenty of space to relax and it never felt crowded or cramped. All of this and getting to spend time in a beautiful country make this something I would gladly do again. Thank you Sail Croatia!

This was a fabulous holiday! There are just three reasons I couldn't give it a perfect 5. 1. "Water toys"-having only 4 "floaties" when you have 36 people on board is not enough. On vacation, no one wants to jump is the sea and tread water for the duration of the swim stop. 2. The new Contessa is lovely. However, on the top deck there was not nearly enough loungers or chairs. People were having to share or go below deck. There was plenty of space for more. 3. It is a bummer that you advertise excursions to Explorer travelers but they actually do not happen or are not reccomended. We were excited on day 1 to go river rafting but once on board heard that that actually wasn't an excursion. Same with canoeing-said you "could" go, but that it was a very bad experience. Better tour operators or excursions need to be sourced. Lola was super and responsive. Martin and Neno amazing employees! Chef Bane and Marko fab. Charlie and Tino fun on deck, and maids were wonderful.

My wife and I had an absolute blast on the 7-day Split-to-Dubrovnik Explorer cruise on the Contessa. This was our first cruise ever, and it wildly exceeded our expectations. Every stop was a treasure in it's own way, the recently renovated ship has a modern/elegant design, the cabins were spacious, food on on-board was great, crew was fantastic and friendly, and our tour guide Lola made sure we knew all the fun activities to do, and the best places to dine. The Croatian itinerary was fantastic, and the crew were friendly and hardworking throughout the trip. Unfortunately, the condition of the Mali Ante did not meet our expectations. The ship felt older and less well-maintained than many others we saw in port. The jacuzzi was out of service for most of the trip, our shower leaked, & our lower-deck cabin was extremely noisy whenever the engines started. The cabin was also very damp, leaving clothing and towels moist and causing some clothes to develop a musty odor. We also found what appeared to be mold or mildew staining on our bedding. Breakfast was limited to one hour each morning, no snacks were provided between meals, and guests could not bring their own snacks or drinks onboard. Drinks were expensive, and the bar tab had to be paid in cash. Considering the ship’s condition and limited amenities, the suggested gratuities felt excessive. While Croatia was beautiful, the overall experience did not provide the value we expected.

Brilliant , Lauren was fantastic. The crew were awesome! We had a good blend of people on the boat, from all over the world. Food was good and the places where we went were absolutely beautiful. The only complaint I have was the bed and sheets were a little short for me I am 6’2” I didn’t like the fact we had to “pay in cash” for the bar tab and local taxes at the end of the trip.

I was super impressed with Sail Croatia, From the skipper, all the crew, our awesome English guide, Lauren, the facilities and all the stunning islands. Lauren gave us story time every day about the island we were visiting including its history and activity options. She was always available for information and recommendations. She really made the tour exceptional. The food that came out of such a tiny ships galley was also really impressive and the guys serving us ( Caesar and Kofta) were also awesome. I really can't fault the cruises. I went as a solo traveller and the friendship you make in the boat were a big part of the success of those cruise. I was in a below deck room which was also fantastic considering the space constraints on a small cruise, it was perfect.

Our week on the Sail Croatia Explorer aboard Almissa far exceeded our expectations. Lauren and the crew were amazing, and everything ran so smoothly. The swim stops were beautiful, and the food was always delicious. A special thank you to Bobby and Marko for catering so well to gluten-free dietary requirements - we never felt like we were missing out. A huge shoutout to Ceaser and Kafka for the fun nights, great music, and always bringing the good vibes. The week truly had something for everyone, whether you wanted a social night out or an early night in (or both, like us!). What really made the trip special was the group of guests. There was such a fun mix of people and ages (we're in our mid-20s), and by the end of the week, it felt like one big happy family. We’ve left Almissa with incredible memories and couldn't recommend this experience highly enough.

We scheduled our Sail Croatia trip hoping for a Family Adventure and it was SO MUCH MORE than we had even hoped! Croatia was beautiful! Waking up every morning on the Almissa to a new swim spot was epic and the excursions were fantastic! She made every excursion seamless, and her brief history of each destination befire our arrival was one of our favorite parts of the trip. Salve di Mare is a beautiful boat. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The lunches were delicious. Our guide Nikos was wonderful. He had recommendations for bars and restaurants and was helpful with the excursions. We had a small group and enjoyed all the guest on the boat. I cannot think of a better way to see the coast of Croatia. I would highly recommend Sail Croatia and Salve di Mare.

OMG… this trip was AMAZING! I found Sail Croatia on Google, from my very first enquiry right through to the very last day stepping off the boat, the communication & service were exceptional. My sister & I travelled from Split to Dubrovnik Day 1 unfortunately greeted us with rain, however the crew lifted everyone’s spirits with a welcome drink onboard, cosy blankets & warm hospitality all around. The crew were absolutely incredible, honestly cannot fault any one of them. They all worked so well together as a team. Nikos, the best! He kept us updated daily through both the group chat & verbal briefings, always making sure everyone knew the plans, timings & options available. knowledge of Croatian history & he delivered everything with humour & personality. Captain Frane constantly amazed watching him manoeuvre the boat into each port with such skill. Marco & Vlaho were both hilarious, friendly & absolute joy to see every single day. Julija looked after us/cabins exceptionally. Food Yum!

It was good, but they have things to improve, like the air conditioning not working, the cancellation of multiple activities due to the weather, the captain's absence due to "illness" (though he seemed perfectly fine the other days), and having a bartender drunk almost 50% of the time. But the accommodations were very good, the food was very good, and the main day was excellent.

It’s an amazing week, so relax and enjoyable. Loving the swim spots daily nothing better than that. Nikos is very helpful and responsive guide. The crew members are friendly and lovely. Really glad I have chose the Salve Di Mare, unique character on itself and met a whole group of people who very much able to enjoy and create the whole amazing week.

Our trip through the Croatia islands with Calum aboard Tempura was fun and educational. The trip was from Split to Dubrovnik visiting wonderful islands along the way. The crew was extremely hardworking and helpful. Our guide and leader for the week was Calum. If you are fortunate enough to have him as you cruise leader, know that you will have an amazing holiday. He was very knowledgeable about each stop as well as the history of each island/town we stopped in. He planned trips, dinners and events every day making the trip extra special for my wife and I!

I had an amazing holiday and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dino, our rep, was incredibly welcoming from the start and made everything feel easy and enjoyable. The food on the boat was outstanding throughout the trip, and the bar staff were super friendly and always brought great humour to the atmosphere. On Captain’s Dinner Night, it was especially nice to see the captain making an effort to personally talk to guests—it really added a special touch to the whole experience. Overall, a fantastic holiday that I’d highly recommend.

We had the best time on our Sail Croatia cruise, which exceeded our expectations in every way!! Dino, our tour manager was lovely and very responsive to our questions and requests. He often responded within a minute and was already taking action on our request. He was very knowledgeable about each location and gave us a daily briefing. The ship was beautiful and the staff friendly. Due to rough seas the itinerary had to be changed and we did not visit Vis, but instead went to Omiš, which was a lovely town with stunning landscapes and some exciting excursion options! They handled the itinerary changes gracefully and seamlessly. I've deducted one star as there were a few quirks along the way that could have made the stay more pleasant: The ship has AC, but only when the AC is turned on as a whole, so for the first couple nights and the last night our room was a nearly unbearable 77-80°F at night, there were a couple days where housekeeping came into the room, but the room was only partially done, like 1 out of 3 beds done. All in all it was an enjoyable experience though!

Traveling with Sail Croatia was an experience that was more than " just a cruise" where you are one of hundreds or thousands on a massive ship. It wasn't perfect, but I look back on the friendships we made, the cozy feel of the ship and I'm left with special memories of our time on the Adriatic. When we arrived in Split and were faced with two massive cruise ships at port, I was so thankful for the choice we made. Dino, our cruise director, was a very relatable, friendly guy who responded quickly with our questions. The crew were all very nice! I rated it 4/5 mainly because of a few issues such as ventilation in the cabin that made it uncomfortable for a few days. Otherwise, it would be 5/5!

Sail Croatia helped make the travel process seamless from start to finish. The communication before during and after made the decision to book simple, what to do during the cruise easy and decision to rebook in the future a definite. The staff was visible hardworking and always available to assist in any way need from pouring a drink, crossing a gap or information about local culture or traditions. The cruise director Dino was the best. He not only informative and professional but also fun and engaging. He arranged activities,,helped with bookings,, transport and was there for us to resolve an unexpected inconvenience with a flat tire on a bike excursion . Whike the weather was not perfect for our cruise. Dino and the Captain worked together to avoid the difficult uncontrollable weather and locate ports with better weather and new fun activities seamlessly. This was an unforgettable experience for my daughter and I. Thank you Sail Croatia

The shipmates were great and the crew was outstanding! The food was very good and the cabins were much better than expected. I loved the itinerary, the daily swim stops and ports. Croatia is divine and there is no better way to see than on the water. Hana our tour guide was fantastic and always attentive as well as the crew (bar and food). We cruised on the Salve di Mare and had a great experience from start to finish! Monica in Sales was my first point of contact and she was friendly, professional and always quick to respond. A pleasure to work with! The cruise itself far exceeded our expectations, primarily because of our Tour Manager, Vicko. He was outstanding!! Not only did he keep us informed about each day's itinerary and the optional excursions, he provided rich historical context and interesting trivia as well. He is a walking textbook on Croatia - but not in a stuffy professor-like way. Everyone on board absolutely loved him! Our bartenders, Marco and Vlaho, were also very service-oriented and friendly. They did an excellent job. As for the food, it was delicious! The chefs make everything on board so each dish was fresh and tasty. Passenger-wise, there were only 40 of us so we were able to get to know one another rather quickly. I suspect that many new (life long?) friendships were formed. Thanks, Sail Croatia!

Our experience with Sail Croatia was phenomenal! It was one of the best trips we've ever taken - offering a nice balance of relaxation on the boat and activities on the islands. It was great to have flexibility to explore on our own (using recommendations provided if we wish) or opt in to the excursions. We enjoyed that we docked in port every night so we could stay out and enjoy the island as long as we wanted. All of the staff were so welcoming, kind, and provided top notch hospitality! We also really enjoyed meeting our fellow shipmates and actually formed some deep friendships with others on the boat, which was unexpected but made the experience that much more special. We highly recommend this cruise!

Our boat Salve Di Mare was not only the best boat in the fleet, it was staffed by the best crew, Captain Frane, Sailors Mario and Duje, Waiter Marko and Vlaho, Cheifs Arjan and Tina and last but definitely not least our Maid Monika, all 10/10 for all their duties. Now not to forget our absolute champion of a representative Vicko. The weather was a little Ordinary so they changed the route and included some extra activity activities to give a better experience, it was appreciated by all guests on the boat. Vikos knowledge about Croatia and the places we went, outstanding. The entire crew and Vicko went above and beyond. As an airline Captain in Australia, I can only hope my crew perform as Frans crew did, I know the logistics behind a smooth enjoyable experience for your guests and the teamwork required to achieve this, Frane and Vicko mastered it. Concept was great. Yoga daily swim stops and included excursions. Food was great Although Captains dinner could have been a little more special. Maybe include a glass of wine. Overall, trip was fantastic. Boat was beautiful, spacious and very clean. Monica and her cleaning crew did an amazing job keeping cabins clean and linen refreshed. Like fairies because we never saw her. Vsisko was a very good leader. He was knowledgeable, had attention to detail. Enjoyed his morning 10 am debriefs and historical information. Swim stops were the true highlight of our adventure. The only negative, or, suggestion I would have is on the food. Overall, the flavors were very good. However, we all wanted a green salad every once-in-awhile. Could even make a large salad with chicken or shrimp the main course. Or, grilled vegies with the main course. Did not like the lamb chops. Chicken dish and hummus salad was delicious! Crew and staff went above an beyond to create a special wedding anniversary celebration for my husband and me. Great memories and will recommend Sail Croatia.

We had never booked a holiday like this so was a little apprehensive on what to expect. I can honestly say it was amazing. This was such a great way to explore Croatia. We were travelling as a family with 3 young adult/ teenage boys. This type of holiday had the perfect balance of visiting some absolutely stunning destinations and activities such a cycling around a beautiful National Park and driving a buggy through a vineyard and across the island to a beautiful beach. We particularly enjoyed our morning swim stop in beautiful locations were you could take a leisurely swim or paddle board and some snorkelling. Our boat was beautiful ( Queen Jelena) met some great people and the staff could not have done more for us - thank you Nikos and team. Would totally recommend this holiday - you will not be disappointed!

Such an easy and efficient way to see coastal Croatia. You meet lots of others on the boat, however there is plenty of time and opportunity to be by yourselves as well. The excursions are really worthwhile - we particularly enjoyed the bike ride in Mijet National Park. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I picked the below deck cabin as I was told it was quieter, however I would recommend an above deck cabin if you can. Could not fault anything with Sail Croatia and would highly recommend.

We specifically picked this boat for the hot tub which never worked for the entire trip. Very disappointed by this. We expected more regional dishes for lunch ie more seafood. Most meals were red meat based. The cabin bathrooms were far from clean. The floor under the sink was filthy and shower grout was in need of a cleaning. Really can’t say enough about the staff, super friendly and helpful and the itinerary was fantastic. All the stops were beautiful.

Just back from a week sailing on Princeza Diana Explorer cruise, from start to finish booking and communication was stress free with Sail Croatia. The boat was lovely and clean, food was delicious. The crew members were very polite and welcoming. Our hostess was Ioana she was so much fun and very knowledgable and worked hard to organise lots of activities for us. Our fellow ship mates were just the best we had so much fun, lots of sight seeing dancing and laughing. We had a fabulous time. Everything about the boat: the cabins, the deck, the food, the staff. Ioana was our fabulous guide who kept us thoroughly entertained and informed! The service staff was as friendly, efficient and as sweet as could be. Our tour director, Dino, was always there for us and provided great tips on what to do (and not to do) at each port of call. The kitchen chef and his/her team did an incredible job in terms of taste and presentation of each meal. Everything happened as programmed. And the places we visited were magnificent. I am a 27 year old female solo traveler and I had the best week ever on the Almissa explorer boat! Barbra was our host for the week and it felt like she was a long lost friend. She gave us great recommendations as well as her honest opinions on what to do and not to do in each of the towns we visited. The breakfast and lunches cooked by chef Marko and Bobi each day were phenomenal! The waiters, Kike and Cezar felt like family and already had your name memorized by the end of the first day. Josip the captain and the sailers Ivan and Marko were awesome! Finding the best swim spots each day and making sure it was smooth sailing all week. I can’t recommend this boat and crew enough. I hope to be back next summer!!!!

I absolutely loved my time on the Almissa for the Explorer Cruise. Barbara was an amazing Tour Manager - easy to get along with, informative on all our stops, and was great at getting everyone together. The rest of the crew on the boat were also incredible. Very friendly, great service, and they did a great job taking care of us all! The food was also 10/10! This was a great opportunity to meet other travellers, see Croatia, and do some adventurous activities! I would definitely recommend :) it was sad to say goodbye at the end of the week!

What made Sail Croatia so terrific was the personalized and thoughtful care each member of the crew extended towards our well-being and peace of mind. They were generous with their time, warm and approachable, and professional in every way. They communicated well and informed us in advance of any changes in plans. I took my 19 year old daughter on the Esperanza Explorer cruise and it exceeded my expectations by far. The ship was beautiful, the rooms spacious, the staff fantastic and knowledgeable and the itinerary was perfect. We met a huge variety of people and had a chance to connect and make new friends due to the intimate size of the cruise. Sailing to a new swim spot each morning was the BEST way to start the day, Follow that with a superb lunch and just the right amount of education on the next ports history and things to do and then we were off to explore, wine taste, kayak, hike, shop or just hang at the beach. I think this is the best way to see some of the amazing smaller islands of Croatia with the comfort of not packing and unpacking. Highly recommend Sail Croatia.

The entire cruise was just beautiful. From the greeting, the food, the cleanliness and especially the service! Top notch in all areas. A must do if you want to visit the islands of Croatia. The cruise director was great in giving a run down of the next port and excursions. We just signed up and showed up! The company provided the transportation to the excursions if necessary! The entire crew made this trip special. Dino was so helpful with a full list of suggestions, location and all the information needed. The bartender/servers were so friendly and always hade huge smiles. Christina and Cesar are just fabulous. The boat crew and Captain were also so professional and made us feel right at home.

Thank you so much to the Sail Croatia team! Vic and his colleagues were fantastic - friendly, informative, accommodating, and always available. Regarding the food, Inow realize I should have been a little more specific on my preferences, as a vegetarian. Very heavy on the carbohydrates including bread and pasta, which we had for lunch several days. I would love salads and fresh vegetables/greens with meals. All in all this trip was fantastic. So pleased with the experience, and would definitely consider doing it again.

I have done many cruises, this was by far one of the best. The crew and our Tour director Dino made it very enjoyable. Dino was extremely organized in setting up each stop and excursions. Was very informative regarding dinner and even went a step above making reservations. I would highly recommend Sail Croatia.

I was a little anxious going on this trip as a solo female traveller, but was lucky to have a great group of people who made it a very special week. Sail Croatia have got the balance just right between relaxation and activities. It's a very well organised operation, and Vicko did a great job giving us the information we needed on a daily basis. The Tempera crew were fun and attentive. What our boat lacked in glitz and glamour it made up for with character. The meals were very good, I would have loved to see a bit of steamed green vegetable like chard, beans or broccoli on the plates at lunch. Optional activities were great fun, wine tasting on Stari Grad was a highlight. Whilst the buggy trip on Korcula was fun (and spectacular) it felt rushed, and we had only 20 minutes at the stunning beach for a quick swim. Maybe given the custom that they receive from Sail Croatia they can negotiate more time there? The swim stops were a highlight. It was a great way to see a lot in one week.

My sister and I had an incredible trip on the Tempera from August 2-9, 2025, exploring Sale, Croatia. The experience was truly stellar, thanks to the phenomenal crew and captain. They created a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere that felt like a floating home. Our tour guide, Vicko, was a highlight. His knowledge brought Croatia's history and culture to life. With just 25 guests, the intimate setting fostered quick friendships for all aboard. We shared meals, laughs, and adventures, making lasting connections. This trip perfectly blended relaxation and adventure! We loved every moment and highly recommend this unique cruise to anyone seeking a memorable Croatian experience. I was pleased to do the Explorer Sail Croatia the past week. I was impressed with the organisation of everything to make the cruise as fun as possible. Ivana was our guide, and she is fantastic. Due to a cancelled flight, I missed the boat departure, but as soon as I got in touch, Ivana guided me on how to get to the boat the next morning. The crew was also excellent, heads up to the chef and Miro. The optional excursion was so much fun. I also loved the boat, Mali Ante. I recommend Sail Croatia 100%.

The whole experience was fantastic! The crew, our group, the food , excursions were fabulous. I thoroughly recommend this 7 day sail from Split to Dubrovnik. Personally it would have been better to do Split to Dubrovnik instead especially if you need to get to other countries.

The small boat experience is special. You get to know people from around the world. The small crew gets to know people and they take care of things a simple as I don't like mushrooms (so the day they had mushroom soup, I got pumpkin soup). The tour director, Dino, was very knowledgeable and that helped us get the most out of each port.

The crew on Mali Ante are absolutely phenomenal! They are kind, accommodating, fun and work at the very high level of service in the industry relentlessly. Our tour manager, Lola, really made every day exciting and shortlisted everything which was best and worth our money! She is patient, so kind, funny and makes every location experience better with tailored and realistic reviews. Very grateful for the experience especially as a solo female. We had another unforgettable week on Salve di mare. We did the same trip last year and loved it so much we came back this year. Salve di mare is an amazing boat with an even better crew. Frane, the Captain of the boat, is very experienced and took us to the best secluded swimming stops every day. His crew is a testament to his leadership as they are all amazing! Big shout out to the waiters Marko and Vlaho in the restaurant and the bar, they made our stay fun, they were always on hand for drinks and chats and an absolutely massive shout out to our chef Arijan and his sauce chef Tina. They kept us well fed. All their meals were delicious, prepared from scratch with fresh, local ingredients. Can't recommend this boat and this experience high enough. It really is the best way to see the Croatian coast. So much to do and see in absolute comfort and no packing or hustle to get to the next destination. Go! you won't regret it!

We have just returned from a week on Almissa, having been on the same ship 3 years previously, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We loved everything about our cruise and were lucky to find a great group of like minded travellers on board who were brilliant company and very friendly. Almissa has an amazing crew, a captain who was very present and easy to chat to and hardworking, fun bar and serving staff. Klara was a fantastic guide with her humour, knowledge and helpfulness, she really made everything go seamlessly and was a lot of fun. Everyone worked hard and couldn’t do enough for us. We felt that the food was better this time than 3 years ago, so well done to the kitchen staff. We enjoyed all the beautiful towns and looked forward to the daily swim stops. We would have no hesitation in recommending this cruise and may even try another week with Sail Croatia in the future.

I had a 5 star experience on Sail Croatia explorer cruise for many reasons including the wonderful group of people onboard, the staff who attended to every need, the swim stops, excursions on offer, and the meals were 10/10 (the staff were also very accommodating when I informed them I don’t eat red meat). Our Sail Croatia Representative, Vicko, went above and beyond to make our experience the best it could be, he was always willing to offer advice, to join us on excursions, provide relative and interesting information about the locations we visited, and tailor our experiences to ensure we had the best time possible. He was the best tour guide I have ever met, he helped me to find a local chemist, made restaurant recommendations, and assisted in making local bookings. I feel the experience would not have been the same without him, and he became a friend to all by the end of the cruise. I will be back and will be recommending this trip to others as it was such a positive experience.

From the moment we stepped on the boat to the moment we departed we received excellent care from our Tempera cruise manager Nikos and his team. Nikos and his team were warm friendly and attentive to our every need. Nikos kept us informed via the WhatsApp group chat and daily announcements and did a fantastic job of coordinating all of the fun and interesting activities. The food which included daily breakfast and lunch were delicious. I also really enjoyed the fact that it was a smaller boat with about 35 guests. We really enjoyed meeting and getting to know our lovely fellow guests from around the world and it was fun to interact with them all during the various activities that were organized on our various stops and to run into them while out and about on the islands. Another thing that I really liked was being able to visit several amazing and beautiful places in a week without needing to pack and unpack between stops. This was an awesome experience and I highly recommend it.

My partner and I booked onto this trip to Croatia to join family who had already booked on. We all enjoyed a fantastic holiday and had a wonderful time away. This was hands down one of the best trips we’ve taken in years. There are so many things we loved about our experience but three things single handedly took first prize. 1. Our Sail Croatia guide Vicko was BRILLIANT!! His daily pre departure talks gave us so much rich context about the places we were going that elevated each days destination and he worked tirelessly to ensure all excursions were booked ahead of time and dinner reservations were made. Vicko is THE reason we will definitely be booking with Sail Croatia again! 2. The ship and crew- beautiful clean accommodation and the most amazing, welcoming, accommodating crew! It was really cool to get to know the captain too who was so welcoming and accommodating. 3. The food was just spectacular!! We really appreciated the opportunity to try so many traditional dishes while on the boat. We also loved the wine list which allowed us to try so many different Croatian wines over the course of the trip.

We just returned from a week on the Tempera from Dubrovnik to Split. I cannot wait to tell all my friends in the US about Sail Croatia. The boat was very comfortable with plenty of common area space. What really made our trip special was the CREW on the Tempera. Anything we needed or requested was addressed immediately. The food was amazing and the chefs were great. The bartenders Max & Milan, were so friendly and always handled my special drink requests with a smile. Toma was great making sure we didn’t drown at the swim stops. They were all fun to talk to and went above and beyond to make sure we were all taken care of in every way. Finally Nicos our cruise director was perfection! He always gave fabulous recommendations for restaurants, excursions and also went above and beyond. He was so knowledgeable about every island and city we visited. Anything we asked him to do he did it quickly and efficiently. He is amazing at what he does! Thanks for a perfect week!
