Three reasons to go. Boat: Gorgeous comfy boat and cabin with such beautiful wood work with lots of places for the guests to spread out and relax. Bike: Awesome bike riding through all terrain with a close up view of each island. I am not a big bike rider but an relatively fit so found the rides enjoyably challenging. Never felt rushed. Ebikers went ahead and classic bikes hung back and paced themselves. And the food! Being a vegetarian I did not want to get my hopes up but boy did they impress me. Incredibly well prepared food. And with all the biking I had an appetite that was well satisfied. And consider yourself blessed if you get Ivan and Marin as your guides. Those guys took such good care of everyone - especially me being the only solo guest. And Marvin's historical briefings for each island was something I looked forward to each day! The size of the group and ship was perfect for meeting new people and manageable for cycling and other activities. Our guides Ivica and Anita were outstanding and very helpful as well as very safety conscious during our rides. The Mali Ante was a comfortable ship. In general, in good shape with a little bit of wear and tear evident and could use an inside salon space for playing cards, etc., when the outside evening weather was cool and windy but this might be expected for our price range. The boat crew were exceptional. Friendly and helpful. We definitely had plenty of good quality tasty food for our breakfasts and lunches. Personally, I felt the price beverages were too expensive, being higher than restaurants. It encouraged going off the boat while lower prices would allow people to stay on board to relax and socialize. Hopefully, I don't come across as too negative as the whole experience was fantastic, that I would highly recommend.

Everything was well planned and organized; however, our guide and crew used their best discretion to adapt the agenda as conditions warranted. Croatia is breathtakingly gorgeous. Our guide Andro was simply outstanding. The boat was nice, the food was great across the board, and the crew worked so hard to make it fun. And we were blessed with great shipmates for this trip. And did I mention that Croatia is breathtakingly gorgeous?

Absolutely outstanding Tour Manager Ioana & Crew plus the most pleasant fellow passengers imaginable, Olimp was outstanding: chic, comfortable & immaculately clean. Ioana was highly professional, personable, amusing & a great organizer. Jura, our captain, also. Like way he sat at every table in the captains diner. Ivor, our 'maitre d' is also the consummate professional with an amazing memory for every passenger's request. Every single crew member was personable & good at their role. Food & drink choice was superb. A few observations . 1. The noise level in the dining salon was often uncomfortable for me, I have hearing impairment but the high noise level alarms on our iPhones were triggered twice. This could be simply rectified by an acoustic specialist. 2. 8 am is early for a holiday breakfast. Could it be slipped an hour. 3. Getting out of the sea onto the rear platform is not easy.. A conventional boat ladder would help.. 3. Magnifying mirrors in cabins would aid personal care.

This was one of the most beautiful and relaxing vacations we've had in years. Staff was AWESOME. We were amazed that the chef managed to serve such high quality food each day to this group, and our guide Ioana was absolutely delightful! Everyone is attentive, professional, kind. My friend scraped her knee on an excursion and the captain provided bandages, etc. The included walking tours are well worth it, and there was just the right amount of structured vs unstructured time where we could do our own exploring, or just relax. The southern cruse (that goes from Split to Dubrovnik and back not only has gorgeous scenery but also a wonderful historical, cultural, and architectural overview of the area. Croatia has been strategically significant since pre-Greek times and there are many influences you can see in the architecture - which is beautiful and fascinating!

Dino our tour guide always has a positive attitude and was honest. He has this great ability to make all the different guests all come together to ensure everyone had an enjoyable time. His knowledge of the different locations and Croatia in general is outstanding. Nothing was to difficult for Dino to sort out. The entire crew on the Tempera are beyond words. From the chefs accommodating everyone's requests and producing luxury food at every meal and bar staff Max & Milan always ensuring our drinks were full and smiles on our faces, to the deck hands making sure everyone had everything they need and arranging the logistics everyday of getting us where we needed to go. The entire staff of the Tempera are exceptional and most certainly made the trip what it was. Peter and his entire staff are outstanding, their friendly nature and willingness to always help with anything that we needed was beyond words. I highly reccommend Sail Croatia on the Tempera. Best part of our entire holiday.

Sail Croatia is dedicated to making sure that everyone is taken care of in every way possible. The cabin accommodations are excellent; the tour director and the entire crew were all very attentive and professional; the breakfast and lunches very tasty and plentiful! Whoever thought having a 3 course lunch with wine is the perfect way to begin an afternoon of relaxation on the sun deck! That is, unless you're going out on an excursion or a walk through the various towns on the beautiful islands. We highly recommend Sail Croatia!

We enjoyed having a relatively small group of fellow travellers being 36 in total from Australia, Canada, South Africa, UK and USA. Our cabin was comfortable although the quality in pillows and towels was poor. The chef and catering staff did a magnificent job with meal preparation it’s was always delicious The dining saloon however was very noisy during meal times and made conversation difficult The islands/towns visited all had something different to enjoy and we soon chose our favourites. The staff were all friendly and courteous and the boat comfortable and in good condition .We were disappointed that smoking was allowed in the inside deck area which was enclosed with plastic coverings. and attached to the dining saloon. This was especially unpleasant and meant many of us could not utilise this area. This issue was reported to the staff however we felt the resolution unsatisfactory. Regardless of these issues we did enjoy the experience and had a lot of laughs.

What a blessing to be able to experience the beauty of the Dalmatian islands. The highlights were the bike rides! Tonka and Lucija were amazing guides with all the information required to enjoy each trip and also safe rides. Never felt unsafe on the roads. Islands are gorgeous and the bike rides gives a full sensory experience! It's definitely the best way to visit Croatia! Ante, the captain, and his crew were excellent! The only thing to improve is the morning coffee and having tea at anytime of the day part and included in the package. We were on the lower deck, and it was quiet if you have this as a priority on your trip. The group was excellent and made friends for life. Highly recommend Sail Croatia!

Cycling tour is the best way to experience and see islands. Itinerary was well planned and balanced between cycling and relaxation. Guides and crew were brilliant as was the dining on the boat. Wouldn't hesitate to do it, or similar, again.

Karolina was great and very informative. She gave great recommendations and was anyone that gets her is lucky. The crew was good as well. Boat was very nice, cabins were perfect size. Didn't feel cramped and the bathrooms were very nice. The boat was also very clean. They hit their timelines perfectly as well and we traveled with no incident. I was a little disappointed in the food as it was just average but certainty not terrible either.

We enjoyed our daily cycling trips on e-bikes on the major islands from Split to Dubrovnik. Miranda, Matilda and Lola took good care of our group while cycling and provided good info about each location. Any equipment issues were handled promptly. The water was a spectacular shade of blue but a little cold in mid May for swimming. We sailed on Dionis and appreciated the hard working crew and spacious cabin.

We travelled on the Princess Diana from Dubrovnik to Split. From the start, the guides ( Marin and Ivan) greeted us warmly and were very friendly throughout the trip. Marin was excellent at organising the rides and explaining the history of the particular island. By the end of the trip we felt that we had a real understanding of Croatian history in these islands. Ivan was great in encouraging us on the rides and doing a lot of the organisational work behind the scenes. They made a great team. Outside of the cycling, we had most interaction with the two waiters/barmen ( Ivan and Karlo) who worked so hard - especially at meal times - and stayed up late to serve us drinks after we came back from dinner. Special mention also to Marko and Maria for our “plentiful” meals everyday - prepared in that tiny kitchen. We didn’t have much interaction with the other crew members although they were super efficient at docking and getting the bikes off the ship. A great team throughout.

The staff and crew on the Mali Anti are wonderful. Attention to detail fantastic. Rooms spotless and surprisingly spacious and very comfortable beds. Risk assessments and daily briefing are first class. Food was varied and delicious. The cycling was superb with amazing routes to gorgeous Croatian villages. But the hills were long! When they say 4/5 difficult they mean it! Electric bikes looked a tempting option. But very pleased to still achievable the 100 miles on my classic bike.

It's just such good fun. It's a beautiful place and we were lucky to have great weather and even luckier to have great company. The food was a minor miracle, our cook provided such delicious meals day after day. Our two guides were great and the ships crew looked after us really well. The ship was beautiful, very well maintained and safe. Ante is an accomplished captain, very proud of his family’s ship and had us on the edge of our seats as we learned its history. He anchored up 3 times en route to let us jump in for a refreshing and relaxing swim. Our guides were awesome! Tonka and Lucija lead us all week, were fun and very knowledgeable, and kept us informed and organized. Their ‘stories’ of the islands and Croatian history were captivating! The group chat info was timely and a nice momento. Our crew were always prepared and ready to take care of us with cold drinks, hot coffee, meals, and wonderful friendly attitudes. Benjamin and Damir are a great team! And a special thanks to George, our chef. How he prepared what he did in his galley is a marvel to all! A yummy breakfast each morning and a three course meal for lunch were highlights for sure. We were powered up daily and ready to ride! My high expectations were exceeded! Do this trip - - go for it!

The intimate experience of a small ship was even better than we expected. You get to know the passengers and crew but also have time to spend on your own. The smaller ship allows for entry into smaller ports that you wouldn't get to experience on a large cruise line. Everything was great, from the cabin to the food, the swim stops, would honestly not have changed a thing. If you ever get the chance, I would highly recommend that everyone enjoy the Sail Croatia experience at least once!

We had a fabulous time on our week with Sail Croatia. The cycling was as challenging as you wanted to make it. Well organized. You see the most spectacular views on the rides. The week was great fun. The organisation was smooth and the trip leaders were knowledgeable and always on hand to answer questions.. The islands were amazing and the swimming was fabulous. We had e-bikes which made the steep hills very manageable. The ships crew were great and we felt in safe hands with the Captain sailing the boat. All in all a great experience and would definitely recommend it.

Every member of the staff was great! The 2 guides, Marin & Ivan did an awesome job of leading our bike trips on each island. Marin told us the history of Croatia and each island. Ivan entertained us with his humor! They both were very professional and safety conscious. Finally, the islands were so beautiful while biking through the country side. I road an e-bike and I’m so glad I did.

We had a great week cycling round Croatia’s islands. Tour guides Ivica and Anita were superb. Ships crew were all great. Itinerary was excellent, cycling in the morning, navigating to a new island in the afternoon then exploring new ports. Bikes were fine, better than expected. Cabins and food on board were ok, although understandably not luxurious. Recommend getting e-bikes because Croatia is hilly.

A great way to see so much of the islands and ports at a leisurely pace. A wonderful blend of activity, moderate exercise, (if on an e-bike!), and relaxation. Plenty of opportunity to explore places on your own and enjoy dining at local restaurants. Ship’s crew and tour guides were very professional, friendly and really helped maximise the whole experience. The ship’s cabins are compact so don’t bring too much stuff. Everything on board was clean and well maintained with really good food. The crew and guides take great pride in the ship and country. Can’t wait to do another trip.

The cycling was challenging in parts ( get an e-bike if you’re not a strong cyclist) but exhilarating on some of the long descents. The tour is NOT suitable if you’re not comfortable on long descents! Views were stunning and the guides were excellent and caring. The cabins were clean and comfortable, although LIGHTING is definitely needed in the dark cavernous wardrobe. Two comments on pre-tour notes : There was plenty of space for LARGE suitcases under our beds. We’d packed in medium size cases with no room for thicker clothes which were actually NEEDED as it was cool and windy on some evenings. Everyone else ( US and CANADA guests) had ignored this and brought large cases. Also, the TIPPING notes could be clearer; eg state explicitly “between 40-105 euros for the captain & crew and a similar tip shared between the 2 guides. “ We talked to a number of other guests who were confused by the guidance given. Plus it’s 40 euros port fees - not 30 as in the notes.

Our guides, Dora, Josip and “J” were outstanding. They were accommodating, gracious, fun and worked very hard to be sure all passengers were safe and had a good time. The excursions were well planned and they always built in extra time for us to do what we want.

The views from the ship and cabin were incredible as were the crew and people aboard!!! We sailed during the day for a few hours at a slow pace allowing us to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. At night, we were able to explore each of the ports on our own or join in group dinners or activities. It was the perfect mix. Can't wait to go on next cruise with Sail Croatia.

Everything was very well organised.The boat crew were friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The tour guides Ivica and Anita were fantastic. Ivica went out of his way to give us better and more bike riding experiences while ensuring we were safe from strong winds etc by changing the itinerary to suit. Anita was very knowledgeable about local sites. All the crew were very cohesive and jolly, the food was great and plentiful and we had a wonderful experience. The guides and crew on our trip made for a perfect week on Emanuel. Tonka and Lucy were wonderful guides. Very informative at each daily briefing, and then throughout the rides they made sure everyone always knew what was ahead. The routes chosen were fun with gorgeous scenery. Our food in the ship was very good. Service was great. All in all fabulous week in the Croatian islands.

Many aspects: Being early in season we had it all to ourselves. Our small group of 14 made it very fun and social. The boat was clean and well maintained and the crew knew their business. Breakfasts and lunches were good in fact overtop. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Our hiking guides were gracious and knowledgeable. Everything was smooth and organized. My only issue was WiFi/internet access wa spotty at best.

The crew our tour representative Vicko the personal touch. We only had 16 guests on our boat. The food was 👏 amazing. I loved all the islands and villages we visited. Vicko recommended certain trips and each one was a great experience. Vicko energy and knowledge and enthusiasm was brilliant. I have been recommending sail Croatia to all my friends and family. It was a truly memorable 40th anniversary trip. We will most definitely sail with sail Croatia again. Do more islands. Wish I was back on board now. We also made new friends who since we left have been messaging which is lovely. This is because it was a small intimate group and vicko encouraged mixing together at breakfast and lunch. I loved when we all hired bikes and cycled together around the national park. Well done to our captain the crew and our amazing tour guide Vicko. I hope to meet you all again.
