The crew and the program leaders were energetic, friendly and helpful. The e-bikes were of very good quality. The food was good and plentiful. The other guests were liked minded and enjoyable. The itinerary was well paced and interesting ports of call. Thanks

From booking to check out, Sail Croatia ran a well organized operation. On arrival at the boat our bags were loaded onboard and we were greeted by the captain. Our guides for the bike rides, Mila and Mario, were excellent. They explained the trails and provided history and information on the places we visited. We were pleasantly surprised by the food at all meals, it was delicious and fresh. Thank you chef! The crew took care of us at all meals and in between (thank you Halim and Donche). Just back from a fantastic week aboard Dionis. Our guide, Ivica was so knowledgeable and being Croatian, he had so much local knowledge.. The routes were a great mix and being the Split southern route, some aspects (on a push bike rather than e bike) were challenging but that’s what I wanted! Ivica always checked in with everyone to make sure we were all enjoying it. I spent most of my time at the back of the group, where our guide Calum kept me motivated and made the hills less of an issue by playing some cracking tunes! We had lots to chat about and plenty of laughs! Our group (8) quickly bonded and we enjoyed meals out as well as cocktails at Massimo cocktail bar in Korcula. The crew on board Dionis were all excellent and looked after us so well. There was so much food! The best way to spend a week - waking up in new ports and exploring on 2 wheels is so much fun. Croatia is beautiful. Enjoyed the swim stops (although the sea is cold in May). 100% recommend this.

What a fantastic week in Croatia, cycling with a wonderful group of people. Our leads - Ivica and Calum were brilliant so knowledgeable always making sure everyone was ok, very helpful for dinner bookings they would organise this for us. I cannot fault anything it was just simply amazing. I would highly recommend it. The cycling helped us go to places we wouldn’t normally visit. We got information about each place we cycled to and the dinner stop at Gazul on day 2 cycle was truly spectacular. The group chat each day and morning briefing was so useful explaining the ride ahead, The ship Dionis was so nice and the crew were so friendly, the food served was divine. Best vacation of my life! The people of Sail Croatia as well as the people of Croatia were so friendly and accommodating. The boat was big, spacious, clean and beautiful! The islands were amazing and the bike rides beyond fun and exciting, but most importantly was the crew of our boat, our hostess and especially our cycling guide were all off the chart wonderful! To top it all off was the beauty, food and culture of Croatia! Unbelievable!!

What an amazing experience - see more of the real Croatia away from tourist ports!. Our tour leaders were fantastic. Ivica was so knowledgeable about the islands and history and always very aware for our safety. Calhum and his tales and folklore of each town… and of course the best music choice! The whole crew - so attentive to all our needs. Azra and Ino cooked up amazing food and great desserts. Keno always had a smile as he welcomed us to breakfast and served up our drinks. The captain Mate and Ilya- excellent boatman and of course captain Mate’s boat was beautiful and well maintained. Very modern bathrooms with great hot water! My one word of VERY important advice - get the e-bike!!! Especially with loop! Can’t wait for the next one!

A superb way of seeing a beautiful country. The Split Northern route is, as advertised, comparatively gentle. The scenery is stunning (Krka National Park and Trogir are highlights) and our guides (Lola and Tonka) were friendly, helpful and professional. Our cabin was comfortable, food on board variable (but you won't starve), fresh water available at all times. We didn't feel the need for ebikes but the "ordinary" ones certainly are very ordinary! Inevitably different people want different things from a trip. For us, we would have preferred longer in Trogir - it's SO beautiful, second only to Korcula in our opinion. We would have liked tea and coffee available at all times on board. If Sail Croatia added a few pounds to each booking (to cover the cost) no-one would know - or care. This was our third Sail Croatia trip which speaks volumes. We highly recommend both the company, their staff and the whole concept.

What a great experience, best way to see parts of Croatia that a lot of people would see on conventional tours. The ship (Columbo), the captain and the crew were awesome, they went out of their way to make the trip a memorable one. Our guides Marin and Mario were very professional and provided lots of information about the history of the islands and the towns we visited. Would highly recommend cycling with Sail Croatia.

The tour team and ship crew were A1. on all accounts. We had some weather to navigate through and again the captain and crew made it all work. We did wish the ship was a tad more updated. Beds were too hard and hot water was not reliable (only a 400 liter tank for all 40 of us). All part of the adventure. Marin and Mario were great tour leaders and kept us all safe. The Croatian food was first rate and plentiful each day. A great time had by all.

This was a fantastic holiday from the beautiful islands we cycled across to the great guides and friendly professional crew of the Mali Luka. The chef produced amazing food for us every day with great verity, accommodating all tastes and requirements. The cycling guides were knowledgeable of the areas we went to, this meant they could remain flexible on routes we took so always managed to cycle in great weather. They also provided lots of interesting history of the islands as we cycled around them.

The information supplied by Sail Croatia before our trip was excellent, letting us know everything we needed to know. The Tour guides were very helpful right from the beginning of the trip. Miranda was an excellent cycle tour leader and explained the routes and stops well. Lola gave great history and location talks throughout the tour. Even though Matilda was observing on this trip, she was also very helpful. The three made a good leading and supporting team. The crew of the Dionis were fantastic and worked hard to make the cruise a wonderful experience. The chefs were amazing and went above and beyond to provide very good vegan meals. The barman was a star, always polite and ready to give good service. The bikes we rode were very good and well maintained. Gears worked smoothly, and the range was right for the hills and routes. The places we visited were beautiful and full of history. We enjoyed swimming at different locations every day. There was always plenty of time to explore.

From the very first contact with Sail Croatia I felt confident that we were in good hands. The communication and information provided were excellent. Our guides, Miranda, Lola and Matilda (in training), were just wonderful - patient, cheerful, friendly, efficient and always helpful. Their experience and efficiency meant we never had to worry about anything all week, just enjoy the beautiful places we visited. The cycle routes were great - a good variety of terrain and views and we visited so many truly stunning places. I loved life on the ship, from the comfortable cosy, quiet (lower) cabin, the delicious vegan meals we were served, the ability to find quiet places to sit or sociable places to have company and a chat. Moving on every day to discover new places and having time to explore and plenty of free time to hike, swim, or just chill in a bar was perfect. It was our first time in Croatia and this was a wonderful way to explore. Now looking at other trips you offer …

This was my first time on Sail Croatia cycling cruise, and it far exceeded anything I Imagined, The cycling routes were stunning, with breathtaking vistas. Immersed in the scent of lavender and rosemary along the way, and the olive groves lining the landscape.. What truly made the trip exceptional were the two cycling guides, Ivica and Anita. Their skill and attention to saftey helped me feel completely at ease. Ivica went beyond expectations with optional bonus rides and hikes. His deep knowledge of the area's routes and history added an unexpected layer of richness to the experience. Anita's warmth and knowledge of history and restaurant recommendations made them a great duo. The crew of the Mall Ante were warm, attentive and made us feel completely taken care of. I felt like part of the family. I already have reccomended Sail Croatia and I just got back two days ago. Thank you to everyone who made my solo trip the first of many cycling trips to come.

The boat “ Mali Anti “ was more comfortable and larger than I expected. My cabin was large with wardrobe and cupboard space again more than I am used to on smaller boats . The shower and bathroom was clean and functional . The Crew were always around to help , immaculate in serving us and attending all our needs . The food was enjoyable and plenty bearing in mind we were cycling every day . I met many new friends and had a fun time which was again above my expectations. The crew who took us on our cycle trips , Ivica and Anita were brilliant. Helped us all from flat tyres repair , advice on restaurants, bars.interesting stories of the history of all the locations and islands they took us to . They made us safe and looked after us making the whole week just perfect The islands were stunning , cycling through beautiful villages , vineyards and deserved coffee stops meant I had such a fabulous holiday I am back home for 2 days and have booked again for next year!

Three reasons to go. Boat: Gorgeous comfy boat and cabin with such beautiful wood work with lots of places for the guests to spread out and relax. Bike: Awesome bike riding through all terrain with a close up view of each island. I am not a big bike rider but an relatively fit so found the rides enjoyably challenging. Never felt rushed. Ebikers went ahead and classic bikes hung back and paced themselves. And the food! Being a vegetarian I did not want to get my hopes up but boy did they impress me. Incredibly well prepared food. And with all the biking I had an appetite that was well satisfied. And consider yourself blessed if you get Ivan and Marin as your guides. Those guys took such good care of everyone - especially me being the only solo guest. And Marvin's historical briefings for each island was something I looked forward to each day! Thanks for the lifetime memories!

The size of the group and ship was perfect for meeting new people and manageable for cycling and other activities. Our guides Ivica and Anita were outstanding and very helpful as well as very safety conscious during our rides. The Mali Ante was a comfortable ship. In general, in good shape with a little bit of wear and tear evident and could use an inside salon space for playing cards, etc., when the outside evening weather was cool and windy but this might be expected for our price range. The boat crew were exceptional. Friendly and helpful. We definitely had plenty of good quality tasty food for our breakfasts and lunches. Personally, I felt the price beverages were too expensive, being higher than restaurants. It encouraged going off the boat while lower prices would allow people to stay on board to relax and socialize. Hopefully, I don't come across as too negative as the whole experience was fantastic, that I would highly recommend.

What a blessing to be able to experience the beauty of the Dalmatian islands. The highlights were the bike rides! Tonka and Lucija were amazing guides with all the information required to enjoy each trip and also safe rides. Never felt unsafe on the roads. Islands are gorgeous and the bike rides gives a full sensory experience! It's definitely the best way to visit Croatia! Ante, the captain, and his crew were excellent! The only thing to improve is the morning coffee and having tea at anytime of the day part and included in the package. We were on the lower deck, and it was quiet if you have this as a priority on your trip. The group was excellent and made friends for life. Highly recommend Sail Croatia!

We enjoyed our daily cycling trips on e-bikes on the major islands from Split to Dubrovnik. Miranda, Matilda and Lola took good care of our group while cycling and provided good info about each location. Any equipment issues were handled promptly. The water was a spectacular shade of blue but a little cold in mid May for swimming. We sailed on Dionis and appreciated the hard working crew and spacious cabin.

We travelled on the Princess Diana from Dubrovnik to Split. From the start, the guides ( Marin and Ivan) greeted us warmly and were very friendly throughout the trip. Marin was excellent at organising the rides and explaining the history of the particular island. By the end of the trip we felt that we had a real understanding of Croatian history in these islands. Ivan was great in encouraging us on the rides and doing a lot of the organisational work behind the scenes. They made a great team. Outside of the cycling, we had most interaction with the two waiters/barmen ( Ivan and Karlo) who worked so hard - especially at meal times - and stayed up late to serve us drinks after we came back from dinner. Special mention also to Marko and Maria for our “plentiful” meals everyday - prepared in that tiny kitchen. We didn’t have much interaction with the other crew members although they were super efficient at docking and getting the bikes off the ship. A great team throughout.

The staff and crew on the Mali Anti are wonderful. Attention to detail fantastic. Rooms spotless and surprisingly spacious and very comfortable beds. Risk assessments and daily briefing are first class. Food was varied and delicious. The cycling was superb with amazing routes to gorgeous Croatian villages. But the hills were long! When they say 4/5 difficult they mean it! Electric bikes looked a tempting option. But very pleased to still achievable the 100 miles on my classic bike.

It's just such good fun. It's a beautiful place and we were lucky to have great weather and even luckier to have great company. The food was a minor miracle, our cook provided such delicious meals day after day. Our two guides were great and the ships crew looked after us really well. And by the way the cycling was the icing on the cake.

The ship was beautiful, very well maintained and safe. Ante is an accomplished captain, very proud of his family’s ship and had us on the edge of our seats as we learned its history. He anchored up 3 times en route to let us jump in for a refreshing and relaxing swim. Our guides were awesome! Tonka and Lucija lead us all week, were fun and very knowledgeable, and kept us informed and organized. Their ‘stories’ of the islands and Croatian history were captivating! The group chat info was timely and a nice momento. Our crew were always prepared and ready to take care of us with cold drinks, hot coffee, meals, and wonderful friendly attitudes. Benjamin and Damir are a great team! And a special thanks to George, our chef. How he prepared what he did in his galley is a marvel to all! A yummy breakfast each morning and a three course meal for lunch were highlights for sure. We were powered up daily and ready to ride! My high expectations were exceeded! Do this trip - - go for it!

We had a fabulous time on our week with Sail Croatia. The cycling was as challenging as you wanted to make it. Well organized. You see the most spectacular views on the rides. Small town coffee stops. Excellent food on board - we always looked forward to our meals! Crew were friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!

We had e-bikes which made the steep hills very manageable. The ships crew were great and we felt in safe hands with the Captain sailing the boat. Every member of the staff was great! The 2 guides, Marin & Ivan did an awesome job of leading our bike trips on each island. Marin told us the history of Croatia and each island. Ivan entertained us with his humor! They both were very professional and safety conscious. Finally, the islands were so beautiful while biking through the country side. I road an e-bike and I’m so glad I did.

We had a great week cycling round Croatia’s islands. Tour guides Ivica and Anita were superb. Ships crew were all great. Itinerary was excellent, cycling in the morning, navigating to a new island in the afternoon then exploring new ports. Bikes were fine, better than expected. Cabins and food on board were ok, although understandably not luxurious. Recommend getting e-bikes because Croatia is hilly.

A great way to see so much of the islands and ports at a leisurely pace. A wonderful blend of activity, moderate exercise, (if on an e-bike!), and relaxation. Plenty of opportunity to explore places on your own and enjoy dining at local restaurants. Ship’s crew and tour guides were very professional, friendly and really helped maximise the whole experience. The ship’s cabins are compact so don’t bring too much stuff. Everything on board was clean and well maintained with really good food. The crew and guides take great pride in the ship and country. Can’t wait to do another trip.

The cycling was challenging in parts ( get an e-bike if you’re not a strong cyclist) but exhilarating on some of the long descents. The tour is NOT suitable if you’re not comfortable on long descents! Views were stunning and the guides were excellent and caring. The cabins were clean and comfortable, although LIGHTING is definitely needed in the dark cavernous wardrobe. Two comments on pre-tour notes : There was plenty of space for LARGE suitcases under our beds. We’d packed in medium size cases with no room for thicker clothes which were actually NEEDED as it was cool and windy on some evenings. Everyone else ( US and CANADA guests) had ignored this and brought large cases. Also, the TIPPING notes could be clearer; eg state explicitly “between 40-105 euros for the captain & crew and a similar tip shared between the 2 guides. “ We talked to a number of other guests who were confused by the guidance given. Plus it’s 40 euros port fees - not 30 as in the notes.

Our guides, Dora, Josip and “J” were outstanding. They were accommodating, gracious, fun and worked very hard to be sure all passengers were safe and had a good time. The excursions were well planned and they always built in extra time for us to do what we want.

Everything was very well organised.The boat crew were friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The tour guides Ivica and Anita were fantastic. The guides and crew on our trip made for a perfect week on Emanuel. Tonka and Lucy were wonderful guides. Very informative at each daily briefing, and then throughout the rides they made sure everyone always knew what was ahead. The routes chosen were fun with gorgeous scenery. My husband and I did the Bike and Boat Southern Route May 1-11, 2025. I can't say enough good things about this trip, from the crew; the outstanding organization of the biking from storing the bikes, fitting the bikes, loading and unloading the bikes (wait until you see how they do it!); and most of all, the rides (even coming down from one summit in the pouring rain). Our guides, Miranda and Lucija, were outstanding. Personable, patient, knowledgeable, strong riders. Great food as well. Cabins were simple but quite serviceable. And Croatia! What a gorgeous, fascinating country. Take any bike and boat tour with Sail Croatia and you won't be disappointed.
