Ivan out tour guide was phenomenal. He taught us something new everyday about the history and geography of Croatia. He always made things interesting and fun. The entire schedule of the Wines of Croatia Cruise was perfect, never too much and always an adventure. We were treated like royalty on the ship and the accomodations were just right. The Queen Jalena is a marvel of a ship. I hope to sail with Sail Croatia again in the next year or tow, NO ONE could be better!!

Everyone in our group was thrilled with the crew and how they made our travel experience the very best. If you can find fault with this holiday you have spent the week looking for it, and even then I doubt you will find it. Everything was perfect from breakfast to evening drinks before bed, each trip out was well organised to get the most out of the experience and with morning swims stops everyday each day just flowed perfectly. We had a small kitchen on board that did breakfast and lunch. Well they called it lunch, but each day was a set menu of three courses and the food that came out of that small kitchen was just amazing and all made fresh on board, very talented people in that kitchen first class. Would I recommend Sail Croatia for a holiday, yes without a doubt, Beautiful country, beautiful people, beautiful ship

The boat was lovely , but the crew and cycling tour guides are what made this trip. THEY WORKED HARD!!!!!!! Lifting the bikes everyday and still smiling. The guides were professional and very well informed about the area and were way better at English than we were at Croatian. The food was high quality, promptly served, and plentiful. I woud do the same all over again tomorrow.

Touring the Croatian Islands on bikes was such a fantastic way to see the gorgeous landscape and historic towns. The e-bikes are what made this vacation so special because they allow everyone to enjoy the ride without too much exertion. I did not use one but I would recommend them for most people. Our tour guides were friendly, patient and knowledgeable. The food was (too) delicious as proven by my scale upon return. I can't stop telling everyone I know how much I enjoyed this trip!

Sailing through Croatia aboard the Salve di Mare was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The vessel itself was spotless and well-maintained, with a crew that took great pride in their work. Every detail—from the gleaming decks to the thoughtfully prepared meals—reflected a high standard of care. The food onboard was a true highlight, each dish freshly prepared and bursting with flavor, perfectly complementing the beautiful views of the Adriatic. The itinerary offered plenty of chances to explore Croatia’s stunning coastline, with stops at charming seaside towns, historic ports, and hidden coves. Swim stops were always a favorite—crystal-clear water, warm sun, and that feeling of pure relaxation only the sea can offer. Our guide, Dino, truly made the trip special. His deep knowledge of Croatia’s history and culture brought each destination to life, and he was always ready with excellent suggestions for local sights, food, and activities. Everything made this trip! Starting with signing up with Sail Croatia.. My girl friends sister had done the trip last year. Being boaters and bikers. We made our decision to do it. It was far beyond my expectations! At first I was hesitant to do it as my travels have never included an organized tour. This trip I was proven wrong. The boat was the perfect size, spanking clean and organized, the crew and bike guides were beyond personable, friendly and professional, the food outstanding! By the end of the trip they all were like family. The group, a mixture from different countries, also became like family, many we will keep in touch with after this trip I do not say these words lightly,. I truly amazed myself with this admittance. I say again, I have never been a fan of tours nor large groups of unknown people. I have been on many world adventures but none quite like this one!

We loved our time on board the Mali Ante. The crew and tour guides were very nice, helpful and fun to be around. The food was great. The excursions to the different islands were amazing. The islands are so beautiful. We loved everyone of them. The cycling was perfect for all of us - from beginner to advanced - we all handled it well. This is definitely the best of Croatia.

We were a group of 11 friends on the Queen Jelena Wines of Croatia cruise and had the trip of a lifetime! From the service, to the cleanliness of the boat, to the excursions, everything was flawless. Biggest shout out goes to our intrepid leader Ivan who was always organized and informative, and most importantly, put up with our antics. If we were to come back for another cruise, he would be our top request! And don't forget about the food! The breakfast buffet was always hot and filling. The three course meals were some of the best meals I had while traveling ever. Finally, the dining excursions included were such a delicious way to try traditional dishes. I absolutely loved this trip! We did the Explorer Split Return on the Almissa. I'm an avid cruiser, but now I'm spoiled and hooked on small ship cruises! It was so nice to have swim stops each day and get to swim right off the bow of the boat in a beautiful cove! Since we overnighted in each port, we were able to enjoy our time there without worrying about getting back to the boat on time! We were docked in the harbor at each port and walking distance to dining, shops, and activities. Food was great and service was excellent. Our cruise director Vin was so friendly and helpful, giving us great tips and advice for each port. My bed was very comfortable and room was clean with good AC! I had an above deck cabin, so I was able to open my window for fresh air, which was very nice since it wasn't very hot during our end of Sept sailing. I would definitely recommend this company and would not hesitate to book another cruise with them if I have the opportunity to return to Croatia!

I can't say enough good things about the crew on our sailing/bicycle trip in Croatia. From start to finish, they went above to make sure that everyone's needs were met. The logistics which could be challenging given the itinerary and size of the group were seemless. They balanced safety and professionalism with fun and enjoyment and personal connection perfectly. I have been on other guided trips and Ivan and Lucija are by far the best leaders -they truly brought the trip to life. Bruno and the rest of crew were all exceptional. Highly recommend!

The crew, which is responsible for the sailing/transportation of our group from destination to destination, were very good - trying to avoid rough waters, offering good meals (always a breakfast and usually a lunch and the occasional dinner). The cycling component was handled by a lead that planned the routes. Our lead tried to anticipate the abilities of our group, as we had a few non-electric bikers, and I appreciated him factoring the weather, cycling ability, terrain, topography and the ships ability with regards to docking/port authority schedules. By the end of our trip we ended up cycling: distance and total accumulated altitude climb, exceeded most trips of the season.. I believe that accommodations could have been made if our group was either over or under challenged.. Overall cycling Croatia was a great experience for us. We got to see Croatia in a unique way safely guided and well hosted.

So amazing to hear their takes on the history of the region and their love of their country. Our Sail Croatia guides, Lucy and Ivan are super people, friendly, knowledgeable and competent. They addressed every question and issue with ease. The boat, the Colombo, is well laid out and well maintained for our 30 guests, 2 guides and 5 crew. I have no complaints about the boat. The crew was friendly and efficient. The food was average/as expected for a boat with a limited galley. We did the bicycle tour, which gave us something to do each day when we got off the boat in a port . I think this was an ideal way to spend seven days visiting the Croatian Islands. The E Bike made Cycling accessible to anyone of any fitness. Overall I highly recommend this trip

Our guides, Ivan and Lucijla, were extremely professional. They were super informative, cheerful, accommodating, safety-conscious, efficient, flexible, and encouraging to all of us. Clearly, they were very experienced and committed guides. Plus, they each had a great sense of humor and kept us positive throughout the trip, even the challenging rides. The captain was expert at adapting to weather conditions so we got to experience all the rides that were planned. The crew was very helpful and attentive. I would definitely use them again.

Excited about the boat Aphrodite, it did not disappoint. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Plenty of room. Great introduction with the staff. Any fears of sharing our holiday with a number of unknown people were soon dismissed. We were so fortunate that we had such a good group. The cycling guides, helpful , informative and entered into the spirit of holiday. WhatsApp group for passing information and morning meetings worked well. The bicycles are good quality and surprisingly no punctures.. At times the group seemed to large and we seemed rushed and to be cycling to a schedule. Thoroughly recommend the combination of travelling by boat and cycling the best way to enjoy the Dalmatian coast. The scenery was stunning, weather was perfect for us in mid September. Opportunities to swim from beaches and of the boat was perfect, enjoyed the food on the boat and we all came together to eat at meal times. Most memorable experience and booked again with SailCroatia for 2027….

Our bike tour guides, Marin and Borna, were absolutely outstanding — knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about the regions we explored. Their local insights, humor, and attention to detail made every ride not just scenic but meaningful. They were the true highlight of this trip and the main reason our cycling adventure was such a success. The boat Dionis was functional and served its purpose as our floating base for the week. While it’s not the most luxurious vessel in the fleet, it provided what we needed for a comfortable journey between islands. The crew was generally accommodating, though the captain’s early departure push on the final morning — moving the checkout time from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. — felt a bit rushed and left us scrambling to wrap things up. Overall, the experience was memorable and well organized, thanks in large part to Marin and Borna, who turned a good trip into a great one.

The food on board was delicious! The weather was superb which allowed us to look forward to each and every swim stop. Loved all the islands we visited. Our cruise director Anita was the absolute best. Always keeping us informed ahead of time on what to expect at each island and ideas on where explore, what activities to possibly participate in and amazing selection of restaurant choices. She was always quick to answer questions, make reservations and assist with any problems anyone had. What a kind beautiful person who clearly loves what she does. We have raved about our holiday and our Sail Croatia experience. What an incredible way to meet people from around the world, explore the many regions of Croatia. Swimming in the Adriatic Sea was a favourite part, one we looked forward to daily. Loved loved loved this vacation ❤️

For starters, our guide Ivan was best in class. And the captain and crew were helpful and really good all week. Thoughtful, much attention to detail. We did the wine tour which was lots of fun. Attractions were beautiful. Highly recommend the biking through the national park. On some guided trips you can be programmed to death - this one was just right. Lots of options and guidance on what to do and really good pace for a holiday. There was one moment on the trip when the bus didn't arrive as planned - Ivan had vans show up as a back up plan almost immediately. Felt so comfortable on the trip as he and the crew were just on top of everything. It was my first cruise and it exceeded all expectations from the boat itself to the comfort of the rooms to the food & drink to the quality of service. And Croatia is absolutely stunning. Highly recommend. Thank you Ivan, Captain, and crew on the Queen Jelena!

We are not cruise people, but our time on the Queen Jelena far exceeded our expectations. Ivan, our cruise director was very friendly, informative and helpful. Pamela always had a smile on her face and Ella and the Josips were like magic working behind the scenes making everything clean, comfortable while Captain Gordon kept us safe and sound and found the best swim spots. The kitchen was a standout as the meals were delicious and always elegantly presented which was a plus. The swim spots and wine tastings were great but the highlight for us was the professionalism of Ivan, Pamela and the rest of the crew which made this cruise one of the best vacations we have ever had. The sights were incredible, the crew was attentive and kind, the food was delicious. I never felt rushed or crowded on this trip. The Sail Croatia trip is small enough (about 30 people) to be personal. The organsiation has the experience to know what works for a group. We had 7 nights on board. We were cycling every day in a range of beautiful islands with time also to relax and explore the environment and local treats. The tour guides were friendly, organised and professional. It was fabulous having 7 nights without having to transfer accommodation as we hopped from island to island. We had fun with everyone on board and received fresh meals. At night we could eat locally on shore and there were options like wine tasting easily accessible to the boat. We had seven weeks holiday and this week was a highlight.

It's a very nice boat and wonderful crew! The ports were all fabulous. We loved each island that we visited. The food was plentiful and well prepared. We had unseasonably cool weather, but we were still able to enjoy a swim stop or two. We could always find a spot to enjoy cruising. Our cruise manager, Vedron was warm and friendly. He had a great sense of humor and gave wonderful port talks. We especially enjoyed the bike tour in Mljet National Park and the Military tour on Hvar. I would have like another opportunity to do a bike tour on another island possibly.

Sail Croatia helped make the travel process seamless from start to finish. The communication before during and after made the decision to book simple, what to do during the cruise easy and decision to rebook in the future a definite. The staff was visible hardworking and always available to assist in any way need from pouring a drink, crossing a gap or information about local culture or traditions. The cruise director Dino was the best. He not only informative and professional but also fun and engaging. He arranged activities,,helped with bookings,, transport and was there for us to resolve an unexpected inconvenience with a flat tire on a bike excursion . Whike the weather was not perfect for our cruise. Dino and the Captain worked together to avoid the difficult uncontrollable weather and locate ports with better weather and new fun activities seamlessly. Everything was amazing! The biking was such a great way to see the islands of Croatia. The guides were fantastic in planning the day’s ride; kept a good pace with breaks as needed. The boat staff were friendly and eager to make your trip a good experience. The food was amazing. I wasn’t expecting that type of quality on a small ship. The sea was quite rough for a few hours but that is out of anyone’s hands.

Enjoyed this Sail and Cycle Croatia tour. The accommodation was good - surprisingly spacious, onboard meals excellent and boat staff and crew lovely. The Sail Croatia Cycle guides were exceptional- professional, knowledgeable, funny and warm! Each day, Island offered new and spectacular views and experiences. Only noteworthy, took this tour early October and the weather started to be cooler - tourist season in fact coming to a close.
