My week aboard the Almissa was exciting, active and very memorable. I was a solo traveller but made friends very quickly with my fellow passengers and with the crew. All had stories to tell and I was happy to listen. I booked on the yoga cruise as I needed to sale on those dates. I did do yoga and aim to continue when my holidays are over. Prior to my holiday I hadn’t done yoga before. Dora the Yoga instructor and activities Manager led the class well. I fell asleep so relaxed after the first session. I loved swimming and chilling at the swim spots, enjoyed challenging myself by jumping off the 6metre high roof deck with the other dare devils and it was great when the captain and crew joined in for a swim or a jump over the side or a paddleboard. During one conversation with the captain, on the night of the ‘Captains Dinner’ we talked about the ongoing maintenance that is done during the off season to keep the Almissa looking so good. She looked spotless start to finish.

Had a blast on this trip - exceeded my expectations. Beautiful boat, even better swimming stops and little towns we docked at. I don’t have the words to clearly express how amazing the Almissa cruise was. I’ve travelled a lot and met many wonderful people, however Hana, our Tour Director, was special and will linger in my memory. It’s easy to provide information but Hana was honest about what was available to see or do and determined that everyone would have something they liked, but most of all she enjoyed every single person on board, listening to their stories about life and experiences. What a wonderful person! Sail Croatia is lucky to have her. The rest of the crew was also amazing, our Bartenders (aka waiters) were hilarious and so sweet, they genuinely wanted everyone to have a good time and it showed. The entire crew was amazing led by a Captain that knew when the winds were shifting and seas might get rough! The food was excellent, the Almissa is a beautiful sailboat. I loved my room, excellent comfortable bed. Would I go again? In a heartbeat, but I’d go because of the crew!!

One of the most amazing weeks! The crew were incredible, the meals were delicious and the boat was so comfortable and clean. I love that we had swim spots everyday, the crew and guides were so helpful and gave so many Suggestions but you could also do as you pleased when you docked. The group chat meant we had our itinerary for the day and knew what our options were and when things were happening. A very easy way to see a lot of different islands, meet people and enjoy Croatian summer . Highly recommend if you love the ocean and want to see lots of the islands in Croatia 🇭🇷

I had the best week on my Explorer cruise, the Almissa! I am a 28 y/o female and was traveling solo, and I was worried about having other solo travelers and people my age there, but it worked out perfectly! There was a large age range on the boat (late 20s to early 70s), but everyone was so fun and we all got along so well. We felt like family by the end! I was a bit nervous to book because there weren't many photos online of the boat and the agents I chatted with and emailed beforehand were very unhelpful. However, once I arrived, the crew was awesome and the boat was beautiful. The cabins were way bigger than expected and the common areas had been renovated! Breakfast was mediocre, but the lunches were overall impressive. I am gluten intolerant and I was incredibly impressed by how well they handled this and adapted meals for me. I will say, drinks on board are very expensive (€5 for a coke and €15 for a cocktail), but they were good. I've already recommended this to my friends!

I was apprehensive about travelling solo but needn't have been concerned. From start to finish this holiday exceeded my expectations. From the fantastic ship itself to the onboard crew, all operated like clockwork but with a very relaxed and flexible vibe all week. Sasa, our tour manager, had fantastic knowledge of each island we visited and kept us updated with the plans on each day via WhatsApp. The islands visited were amazing & the sailing and swim stops during the day were just so relaxing. The food onboard made by our chefs, Bojan and Zodojka was outstanding. Our two waiters Marco and Vlaho were also amazing and funny and went above and beyond. My cabin was super cool & very quiet each night (lower deck) and was thoroughly cleaned by Julia each day. I haven't slept so well in years! If you want to join others for chats and fun then you can, if you want to be on your own & relax, then you can - no pressure, just do what you want. I did a bit of both.

I was super impressed with Sail Croatia, From the skipper, all the crew, our awesome English guide, Lauren, the facilities and all the stunning islands. Lauren gave us story time every day about the island we were visiting including its history and activity options. She was always available for information and recommendations. She really made the tour exceptional. The food that came out of such a tiny ships galley was also really impressive and the guys serving us ( Caesar and Kofta) were also awesome. I really can't fault the cruises. I went as a solo traveller and the friendship you make in the boat were a big part of the success of those cruise. I was in a below deck room which was also fantastic considering the space constraints on a small cruise, it was perfect.

I had an amazing holiday and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dino, our rep, was incredibly welcoming from the start and made everything feel easy and enjoyable. The food on the boat was outstanding throughout the trip, and the bar staff were super friendly and always brought great humour to the atmosphere. The service staff was as friendly, efficient and as sweet as could be. Our tour director, Dino, was always there for us and provided great tips on what to do (and not to do) at each port of call. I am a 27 year old female solo traveler and I had the best week ever on the Almissa explorer boat! Barbra was our host for the week and it felt like she was a long lost friend. She gave us great recommendations as well as her honest opinions on what to do and not to do in each of the towns we visited. The breakfast and lunches cooked by chef Marko and Bobi each day were phenomenal! The waiters, Kike and Cezar felt like family and already had your name memorized by the end of the first day. Josip the captain and the sailers Ivan and Marko were awesome! Finding the best swim spots each day and making sure it was smooth sailing all week. I can’t recommend this boat and crew enough. I hope to be back next summer!!!!

Barbara was an amazing Tour Manager - easy to get along with, informative on all our stops, and was great at getting everyone together. The rest of the crew on the boat were also incredible. I was a little anxious going on this trip as a solo female traveller, but was lucky to have a great group of people who made it a very special week. Sail Croatia have got the balance just right between relaxation and activities. It's a very well organised operation, and Vicko did a great job giving us the information we needed on a daily basis. The Tempera crew were fun and attentive. What our boat lacked in glitz and glamour it made up for with character. The meals were very good, I would have loved to see a bit of steamed green vegetable like chard, beans or broccoli on the plates at lunch. Optional activities were great fun, wine tasting on Stari Grad was a highlight. Whilst the buggy trip on Korcula was fun (and spectacular) it felt rushed, and we had only 20 minutes at the stunning beach for a quick swim. Maybe given the custom that they receive from Sail Croatia they can negotiate more time there? The swim stops were a highlight. It was a great way to see a lot in one week.

I was pleased to do the Explorer Sail Croatia the past week. I was impressed with the organisation of everything to make the cruise as fun as possible. Ivana was our guide, and she is fantastic. Due to a cancelled flight, I missed the boat departure, but as soon as I got in touch, Ivana guided me on how to get to the boat the next morning. The crew was also excellent, heads up to the chef and Miro. The optional excursion was so much fun. I also loved the boat, Mali Ante. I recommend Sail Croatia 100%.

I had a 5 star experience on Sail Croatia explorer cruise for many reasons including the wonderful group of people onboard, the staff who attended to every need, the swim stops, excursions on offer, and the meals were 10/10 (the staff were also very accommodating when I informed them I don’t eat red meat). Our Sail Croatia Representative, Vicko, went above and beyond to make our experience the best it could be, he was always willing to offer advice, to join us on excursions, provide relative and interesting information about the locations we visited, and tailor our experiences to ensure we had the best time possible. He was the best tour guide I have ever met, he helped me to find a local chemist, made restaurant recommendations, and assisted in making local bookings. I feel the experience would not have been the same without him, and he became a friend to all by the end of the cruise. I will be back and will be recommending this trip to others as it was such a positive experience.

The week with Sail Croatia was awesome. Lola was an amazing tour manager, she was well organised, a great communicator, very knowledgeable and friendly. The boat Salve di Mare was a beautiful ship, the rooms felt more spacious than I expected, which was great as I was travelling solo and sharing with another guest. The whole week was amazing, we spent the mornings swimming at various secluded swim stops, which I absolutely loved! The afternoons and evenings were for exploring the towns. Lola and the crew were excellent at planning our stops to ensure we arrived at the best time to avoid crowds if possible. For example we left early to get to the Blue Cave first thing to avoid the cues. I would definitely recommend sailing with Sail Croatia!

Croatia is absolutely stunning and I cannot imagine a better way to explore the Dalmatian coast. The trip was a perfect mix of relaxing and activities. I finally did Sail Croatia (Explorer: Split to Dubrovnik) as a solo traveller in my 30s—and it was absolutely worth it! The pace was perfect—never rushed or forced—and each swim spot felt like a hidden gem, getting better every day. From crystal-clear blue waters to exploring new towns, every moment was memorable. Loved the flexibility to join extra activities or just relax. The crew on the Almissa was exceptional, especially our amazing group leader, Klara. The only downside? It ended too soon! I was initially undecided about doing a group sailing trip, but am very glad I did. Klara and the Almissa team did a fantastic job making sure we were looked after, fed, and entertained. The Stari Grad wine tasting and morning swim stops were the highlights. Klara went out of her way to ensure we knew exactly what was happening when, and you never felt it was a nuisance asking for help. There was a good mix of ages and mostly Australians, Kiwis & Americans in the group. Would recommend.

Rooms spacious, the excursions were well planned and brilliant. Our host Anita was friendly and very helpful. The sailing team were friendly and helpful. The food could have been better, the portions however were generous. Swim stops lovely. Would have liked the hot tub warmer when it was available to use. The tour was a wonderful way to see some of Croatia, relax, and enjoy some outdoor and cultural activities. Ioana was a fantastic tour guide and the crew on the boat provided excellent service. The history tour in Split was very interesting, the wine tasting in Korcula was lovely, bike riding in Mljet and Makarska (private rental) was a great way to see the area, and going up the cable car in Dubrovnik provided amazing views of the city and coastline. I enjoyed the swim stops and the option to use the on-board paddle board and kayak, and the food onboard was delicious and plentiful. There was a good mix of down-time and activities/walking in the towns to keep things fun and interesting. We weren't able to do all of the excursions due to weather conditions, but it wasn't a big issue (and they were often quite pricey). I enjoyed seeing a number of different locations, while returning to the same room every night and getting to know the many wonderful people on the tour.

Bought the explorer sail package and it was absolutely perfect. Wake up, have breakfast buffet on board, the captain would drop us off for a swim stop (1-3 hours), then it’s a 3 course lunch, right as we finish our lunch we have arrived at our new destination. We then had the rest of the day to explore at our own pace or sign up for the additional excursions. It was the perfect balance of scheduled and free time. I can’t wait to go back to Croatia!

The whole Tempura team was amazing. The food, the service, the excursions… everything was top notch! As a solo traveler amongst all friends and couples, I felt like I was taken in as part of a big family! For the price that you pay which is quite exorbitant I don’t think this experience lives up to the cost or the hype. While the crew and the staff on board as well as the guide are absolutely lovely and the service was great the boat is old, creaky and smelly.. The air-conditioning barely worked and people complained non-stop about the Aircon not working. There were no fans even on deck which are desperately needed to combat the unbearable European summer heat. Unfortunately it did not live up to the expectations and certainly not to the reviews I’ve seen on site. The boats need full renovations and need to be fully updated in order for them to be able to get a higher rating.

Our tour guide Ivana was exceptional - energetic, well organised and informative - she also took the time to get to know us all which in turn helped to bond the group - I boarded as a solo traveller but soon that was forgotten and friends were made. The boats facilities were excellent, modern, clean and fresh. We enjoyed delicious food, the crew were attentive and worked hard to make our trip enjoyable but were also so much fun. ! Everything!!! Tour, Crew, Food and Safety Achieved!!! Marija was such a beautiful person who was professional. She was informative, helpful and authentic in her dealings with people. A brilliant tour guide. All the grew members were fabulous and interacted professionally and authentically. You could feel their passion for Croatia and their care for their passengers. Our group of people all interacted and mixed well together.. The itinerary worked well for the 7 nights. Each island was unique in themselves. The swim stops were refreshing, fun, relaxing and enable people to socialise too I found the Tempera to be a great boat and I liked the layout. The top sun deck allowed you to socialise with chit chat, relax in the shade or get a suntan. The middle deck provided another area to socialised or unwind. I felt that the cabin I was in had a lot of room to move about and I enjoyed being above deck. The food was delicious!!!

Where do I start. The ship, the cruise director, the staff , the food the tours available and the wonderful passengers. This trip will be won of my more memorable ones even though the airline I flew with lost my luggage and had to buy my essentials before we set sail. I spent the week on the Princeza Diana going from Split to Dubrovnik. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect week. The captain and crew were great, the food was AMAZING!! Erol and Nikolina were exemplary serves/bar tenders. Nikos did a wonderful job as our tour director, providing information and history on our daily stops and details and recommendations for activities and restaurants. As a solo traveler, I was able to meet people from all over the world, and left the week with some lifelong friends. I already want to plan another week with Sail Croatia!

Firstly, the crew were a huge highlight of the week long sailing up the Croatian coastline on the Adriatic Sea. They were warm and welcoming, energetic, professional and made every effort to make my stay a memorable one. I cannot speak more highly of their efforts to make this week of sailing relaxing and enjoyable, leaving me with no other option but to book again for next year! Secondly. The Tempera was a beautiful ship, exceeding my expectations. Spacious rooms, large deck area for relaxing and gathering together and first class cuisine. The food was amazing! You certainly won’t be hungry! Thirdly, the destinations they chose to stop, not only in port, but also for swim stops were breathtaking. For my first cruise ship experience, this once is going to be hard to beat. The crew! Anita, Nicolina & Erol were brilliant, They worked so hard. The Captain & his team kept the boat moving and immaculate and the cooks provided us with so much food but our daily interaction with the "front of house" team was lovely. I chose an Explorer Cruise on Princeza Diana as I was travelling solo for the very first time. As I am of mature age I felt this trip would be the exact blend of adventure and relaxation. SO TRUE.!!🤗 I spent the week with a wonderful group of people of all ages and could spend as much , or as little time as I pleased socialising. I never felt pushed into late night clubs, opting to drink at the boats bar of a night after dinner. The crew were amazing , especially Erol and Nikolina ,and made me feel like a special guest. Our tour director Anita was amazing and took us all under her wing and organised our adventures, which were always your choice to attend or not. At no time did I not feel included and made some wonderful cruise buddies and friends over the week. Highly recommended

Everything about this trip was super fun and easy. The boat - Tempera was more comfortable then I expected. I stayed below deck and the cabin was cool and quiet. The shower was honestly big enough for 2 people! Lots of common space outside the cabin to find some quiet time or mingle. The crew - Friendly, competent, attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Our Sail Croatia rep onboard was knowledgeable, personable and well organised. The food - breakfasts and lunches exceeded my expectations. The itinerary - the Explorer trip suited me perfectly. There was as much or as little as I wanted to do. Every day was the same but different - wakeup, breakfast, swim, lunch while motoring to new town, explore new town in the afternoon (with activities if desired), dinner and party... Also a shout out to my 30 shipmates. This type of holiday encourages mixing with other guests, but it never felt forced. Would do this trip again :)

As a 32 year old solo traveller I was a bit hesitant about this trip but quite possibly had the best week of my life. I was very fortunate to have shared this incredible experience with the best crowd of people from America, Australia and England. Croatia is truly stunning and every island and town we visited was so unique (Split to Dubrovnik route). The crew on this ship (Almissa) were amazing and looked after us so well. The food was 10/10 (food preferences catered for - I am a vegetarian, it was all delicious). Dreamy swim stops every day in secluded coves. Endless fun and cocktails. Marija was our guide who was brilliant with organising daily excursions or anything we wanted to do on each island. The only negative was we didn't want to get off the boat at the end of the week. Five stars in not quite enough to rate my experience with Sail Croatia! I met the most wonderful people who have become friends and made memories that will last a lifetime as we sailed the Adriatic Sea. The boat was clean, beautifully maintained, and the rooms were comfortable and spacious. The food was next level - every single meal onboard was incredibly delicious. The places we visited and the daily swim stops were out of this world. Our host Nikos was absolutely amazing! His attention to detail and ability to keep things organized so everything on the itinerary could take place was second to none. A massive thanks to the rest of the crew of the Almissa - Frano, Josip, Ivan, Marko, Darija, Ceaser & Sebastian for going above and beyond to make our trip the absolute best! 10/10 would recommend to anyone and I hope to do another sail experience in the future!

Had a really lovely week travelling solo on the Explorer.. Everything was excellent from start to finish. The boat was more spacious than expected esp the cabins with a fabulous en-suite shower. The food was outstanding with plenty of it. Finally the crew were also brilliant with Brilliant Brenko on the bar! The Explorer cruise was the perfect balance of sightseeing, relaxing and fun activities, all in a social setting with the option for some alone time. Not being the party animal I was in my 20s and having more of a disire to see the scenary and learn the history of a place, this tour was perfect. We still had the odd party and was nice and social but traded the thumping music of night clubs for jazz music on beautiful beach front restaurant. The crew and the boat was fantastic, the trip was well planned with plenty of options and flexibility to work around the weather and the best destinations. All up a fantastic week, the highlight of my 2 months abroud so far.

What an AMAZING Croatia cruise trip!! I have so much fun boarding Salve di Mare, with Klara as my tour leader. Grear ship, great crews, great food! Where should I start? This 7 day cruise from Dubrovnik to Split on the Salve de mare exceeded my expectations. Just spent a wonderful week aboard Almissa cruising from Split to Dubrovnik. Although not my first time in Croatia it was my first cruise experience and was the ideal way to visit more of the islands. I travelled solo but met a great bunch of people onboard, both guests and crew. Our guide Klara did a great job of keeping us informed and entertained along the way. The daily routine of breakfast, swim stop, lunch and arrival at our next destination was ideal for a mix of relaxation and exploration. Would highly recommend.

I went on the 8 day explorer onboard Almissa. It was a fantastic experience. Cozy group of 30 people (+8crew), despite travelling solo, we bonded and made such wonderful connections including the crew. The boat was perfect, not too big, not to luxurious that made you feel uncomfortable. The islands and swim spots were amazing. You could put yourself in the shoes of the early explorers. Sailing is one of the most authentic way for a coastal.country such as Croatia, and sail croatia managed to provide that! I definitely recommend it!

The crew on the Almissa were amazing and made sure for a memorable leg of my European adventure. Being a solo traveller and not really knowing what to expect was a little bit daunting, but once I got to know the crew and the other travellers it ended being the most amazing experience. The crew made you feel included and were always up for a chat (or a dance in Tina's case) and Ivan and the rest of the crew made us feel welcomed and included. If we just wanted a chill day you could just lay about on the deck or do a bit of tanning on the sundeck. The swim stops were fantastic and the town's we visited were beautiful and quaint. It gives you a taste of what Croatia is like including the people, the land, the waters and the food. Would highly recommend to anyone and hopefully I'll be able to come back one day.

I’ve done two sails now. I can safely say in the not too distant future, I’ll probably do a third. Everything about this trip was incredible! Travelling solo for the first time, I was a little nervous. Within minutes of hopping on board and checking in, those nerves disappeared! All passengers were absolutely lovely, and I can safely say I have made some friends for life! The food onboard was delicious, the Roko and Tina at the bar were amazing and knew how to keep up a perfect vibe, our representative Vicko was an absolute star, and the rest of the crew were always smiling and made our trip a breeze. Had the most amazing week in Croatia aboard the Almissa. The boat was clean and very comfortable, and all the staff were amazing from the sailors to Tina and Rocco behind the bar and our representative Vicko. I only had slight issues falling asleep the first couple of nights as the boat was a bit louder than expected but I got used to it during the trip. The provided breakfasts and lunches were also very tasty with very generous portions but I will say maybe a different brand of coffee or machine as the coffee wasn't the best. Thankyou again for the amazing week, can't wait to come back!

I just returned from Sail Croatia's Dubrovnik to Split on the Katarina cruise. This super yacht was absolutely amazing. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable. I’ve just done the Explorer cruise on the Salve di Mare - what a brilliant trip which totally exceeded my expectations! I was on my own so shared a cabin with a lovely lady who was travelling with friends. Everyone on board was like minded and really welcoming and friendly. As a solo female traveller I felt comfortable and “looked after” the entire time. Daily routine was perfect with the right balance between being structured and relaxed. Finally, our hostess Ioana was brilliant - she worked really hard, was very attentive and well organised and went out of her way to help. I cannot recommend Sail Croatia highly enough! I stayed on Salve Di Mare, doing the Split to Dubrovnik itinerary. The ship is gorgeous and very well looked after by the crew that worked tirelessly the whole time. They always had a smile on their face and took the time to get to know all the passengers. The overall cruise was such a special experience, with many beautiful locations, plenty of activities to participate in, wonderful staff that go above and beyond and a great crew that quickly became friends. I’ve done Contiki, TopDeck and now Sail Croatia and Sail has been my absolute favourite! The boat was amazing (so much nicer than I was expecting), the crew and our guide Mia were on top of their game and made sure the whole experience was fun and enjoyable and our group was just a great bunch of people. The whole experience with Sail Croatia was amazing! I was very impressed with the rooms, quite spacious and very clean. The food was great! We had a full breakfast every day and a three-course meal! Our guide, Steve, was fantastic. He's very smart and gave us super interesting information all the time. The whole crew was very friendly and open to not only providing service but telling us about life in Croatia. Also, the daily swim stops are a dream! Overall amazing experience, I would totally do it again.

Such a great way to explore Croatia, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The cabins were nice considering your on a boat. Our host Ioana was extremely knowledgeable and friendly which made the experience that much better! Sometimes I wish we had spent two nights at some of the bigger destinations like Havr but otherwise great experience! the excursions and activities organised by Ioana were fun and you didn’t have to worry about planning things and just enjoy and relax your time on holidays

My week on the Almissa was the highlight of my holiday. I enjoyed being able to cruise around Croatia without the hassle of unpacking/packing for the next destination. Stjepan was our trip manager and he did a fantastic job with planning out our days and making us laugh. He is very knowledgeable of Croatia and will be able to give you recommendations at each spot. He was supported by a lovely crew of 7 who were all very friendly and helpful. No request was ever too big or too small for them :)

I can’t say enough good things about Sail Croatia. I just returned from a trip on Princeza Diana and had the absolute best time. The hostess, Kalmia, was fantastic. She was so friendly and knowledgeable of each port we visited. The crew on Princeza Diana was fabulous. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Especially Duje and Stjepan. They were so personable and made a point to make sure each guest feel special. They were all a lot of fun at our BBQ night and captains dinner. As for the guests, we could not have had a better group. Ages ranged from late twenties into sixies and everyone got along great and I have made some amazing new friends. Croatia is an absolutely beautiful country. Excursions were available at the ports and were a lot of fun. This was a trip of a lifetime and I am so happy to have had the opportunity. Definitely a must do!!!

I'll admit I was nervous to book this as a solo traveler who had never done an overnight cruise before, but it was amazing! I did the explorer cruise on the Princeza Diana and could not have asked for a better experience. The islands of Croatia are beautiful, there was a good amount of time to get off the boat and explore, our whole group got along so well, and I met the most amazing people. The food on the boat was fantastic- shout out to Darko and Snježana for catering to different restrictions, it was much appreciated!! Our rep, Kalmia, was so knowledgeable and friendly and kept us organized, and the captain and sailors kept us safe on board. And for me, the waiter/bar team really went above and beyond on this trip. Duje and Stjepan worked from sun up until waaaay past sundown to make sure every guest had anything they needed, and always with a huge smile! I don't know how they do it, but they were incredible. Thank you again to the whole team- it was an unforgettable experience!

Just returned from doing the explorer trip aboard the princeza Diana and can honestly say it’s one of the best holidays I’ve ever been on, all of the crew on board were awesome, special thanks to the chefs who prepared non dairy alternatives every day so I didn’t miss out on anything, the bar staff work such long hours but always had smiles on their faces and enough energy to keep us entertained and couldn’t do enough for you. The crew kept the boat pristine, everything was spotless and the cabins comfortable. I did get ‘red carded’ for doing the floss but in hindsight kalmia, you were right it was horrendous - no man at 37 should be doing that😎 Much love to all & hope to back one day X

Thank you sail Croatia and everyone aboard the Princeza Diana for an amazing holiday! From the moment I stepped aboard the Princeza Diana I felt at home thanks to the lovely crew! The boat was immaculate and all the crew (front and back of house) worked really hard to make sure it stayed that way at all times and it was obvious they took a lot of pride in their work and delivered extremely high standards. The cabins were comfortable, clean and cool. The food each day was excellent!Kalmia, the host, was lovely and her honest and informative approach was helpful.The front of house guys, Duje and Stjepan were fantastic so attentive and professional, they both really looked after us, nothing was too much trouble and they went the extra mile to ensure everyone on the boat was having a good time. Croatia is absolutely beautiful and I can’t think of a better way of exploring the country than aboard the Princeza Diana.I will definitely be booking another trip with Sail Croatia soon!!

Where to start? This was such an amazing experience, and a trip I will never forget.. It was my first timing traveling solo, and I am so glad I picked this cruise as my way to see the coast. The food was delicious, tours were enjoyable (as well as affordable), and everything was extremely well put together from the start. Not to mention the people. Our Sail Croatia rep, Julie, was so well organized, fun, and knowledgeable. The crew was fantastic (huge s/o to Mario, Toni, Tonči, Ivan, Ivan Mirela, and our captain, Davor!). It was easy to see a lot of thought went into everything. I met many wonderful people and developed some close friendships. Altogether our group was super cohesive and lovely. It felt more like family by the end and not at all like stangers who only met the week prior. Thank you for everything Sail Croatia, and I can’t wait to do this again!

I boarded the Almissa boat alone and left it a week later with an incredible new group of friends. While the group of guests that travelled with me might have been already prone to be friendly and united, I strongly believe that the role of the representative Julie and of the rest of the crew has been fundamental to allow us to bond as much as we did. Shout out in particular to the captain Davor and the waiters Mario and Toni, who made our experience extremely social and overall unforgettable with their outstanding service. In addition to the people met on the boat, the boat and organisation themselves were fantastic. The cabins and common areas are modern and clean, and the plan for every day was clear and complete. We even managed to get ticket #1 for the Blue Cave (thanks Julie!), which allowed us to check this amazing place out without the long waiting time that it usually entails! Thanks all! I will surely recommend Sail Croatia and Almissa in particular to my friends and family.

I did the explorer trip and was the only solo traveller and much younger than the rest (21) but still had a blast! Definitely recommended if your not a huge party goer but still like to have fun! Everyone on the boat was so welcoming and inclusive! Our trip organiser Stjepan had lots of local knowledge and our waiter Duje provided exceptional service, he even sat an extra place at every table each day so I could choose where I wanted to sit as I was the odd number out. Marin our other waiter was also lovely! The only thing I would say is that as a pescatarian I was given literally only fish every single meal, I would’ve liked to have a variety of vegetarian and pescatarian foods. After bringing this up I was given vegetarian meals for the last day and half but they were very nutritionally incomplete with almost no protein. The food was incredibly oily too, if you are someone with a sensitive stomach I would be weary of this as I spent a few days being sick after lunches! Overall recomm

So many different reasons why this was so magical. Firstly Croatia is a stunning country with unlimited intimate charm which I recommend seeing via sailing but mostly with sail croatia as you get to see so much more, But with a team of amazing staff who are well informed and there to give you the best possible time while doing so. The crew worked together to provide excellent service and the food was next level. As a solo traveller I was a little bit nervous but I was made to feel right at home instantly and soon enough princesz Diana was my home and will forever be in my heart. Ivana our tour guide was impecible at her job and gave us lots of detailed information about what was happening during that day, the next day and thr right amount if history. It really did change my life and I will look back on this week as one of the best. If I was you I would I would just get it booked. And no I don't work for sail croatia. Just their biggest fan now. Could all these reviews be true? Yes! This is also one of them. I had the best time ever during this week on the Princeza Diana. The best roommate I could wish for (always exciting for a solo traveller who you end up with) and the whole group just had a great mindset (younger and older people that mixed organically), The crew was amazing: Marin, Duje, Stjepan so helpful and good fun. Our host Ivan went beyond the line of duty to make sure we were all having a good time. The week was a good mix of swimming, relaxing, got some culture in and partied more than I bargained for. But it was up to everyone to decide how to spend their time. Really happy with the choice for an Explorer cruise. I would recommend this trip to everyone and do it again in a heartbeat, but I'm afraid nothing will be able to top this experience.

Sail Croatia from the booking and emailing with questions, to the boarding and disembarking was the smoothest process. I was thrilled with the accuracy of videos and pictures and didn't realise our tour guide would be so involved and helpful. I honestly cannot recommend this highly enough. I went on the Almissa and she is beautiful. The daily swimstops were the highlight and something that you wouldn't be able to do if you were doing Croatia on road. Dont hesitate! Many people have been more than once and I now understand! Thankyou everyone for a holiday thats memories will last a lifetime.

What an amazing week on Princess Diana boat with Ivana and staff!! I arrived as a solo traveller with no expectations and I left the week with lifetime memories and friends! My only problem was that I had to share a double bed with a woman I did not know. The only other option was a cupboard single bed. Other people who knew each other had either 2 single beds or 2 double beds in their room, so I wish I would have had this option! This would be the one recommendation I would have for Sail Croatia - to ensure this does not happen for solo travellers - but other than that everything was so amazing! Thank you!

I could not recommend the explorer cruise more! As a solo female traveller I felt nervous about getting on a boat with a group of strangers but the team on Miss Almissa really made me feel at home. I’m 21 but wasn’t into the party style cruise, the explorer is the perfect mix of relaxing and adventuring and the many optional excursions meant there was heaps of activities to suit everyone. Ioanna was just the best guide! She was so helpful and kind and got on with everyone! The boat itself was divine the top deck was great for sunbathing and reading and the aircon rooms were a big plus. I never thought of doing this kind of holiday alone but I would 100% do it again. Thanks Ioanna and the lovely Almissa crew xxx

Ioanna our representative onboard. She was absolutely exceptional. Very professional, timeous, always arranged our excursions and always kept us informed of any changes. The experience from beginning to the end was amazing. I have made friends for life. The crew/rep were amazing and made the trip so memorable and couldn’t do enough for us. The excursions were great and you choose as many as you wanted to do and such a variety to choose from. The food on board was 5 star and variety was good too. The cleanliness of the boat was good and was cleaned half way through trip. Such great value for money and I will definitely be doing this again. I travelled solo but never felt on my own as made great friends from the first day and everyone makes you feel so welcome. So sad when we left as we all decided we would have stayed another week on board if we could. Thank you again Sail Croatia for such a brilliant holiday. Xx

I spent a week on the beautiful Almissa . From start to finish the boat became home and my fellow travellers , family. The Team on the Almissa could not have been more helpful and attentive and fun. Mario behind the Bar and serving us at meal times- polite, charming and attentive. Also does a mean rap on Captains night on the karaoke ! The food was amazing- restaurant quality and produced in a small kitchen- catering for all dietary needs . It was fun lounging on the top deck in beautiful sunshine with the aroma of food cooking and trying to guess what delights were on the menu that day. Every meal was perfect ! The boat was spotless and cleaned regularly by the crew- Ivan and Toni. Ioana, our tour guide, looked after us so well- informative, accompanying us on trips, always participating, supporting us and making sure our trip was the best it could be. She was professional and an absolute delight. ! Highly recommended- so much so I am ready to book again for next year !

I had a great time onboard the Kleopatra for 7 days. Traveling solo, I felt very safe and comfortable. The passengers on board were very warm and friendly. The chef and crew on board made the experience more memorable after some initial feedback on food and serving times. The swim stops were perfect and the time on the islands was sufficient to explore.

I travelled on a first class ship (Kleopatra) with a great tour guide , Steph and a welcoming and friendly crew (Captain Mate, Marko, Alex and Adam with chefs Neno and Ivan, Valentino at the bar and Josipa assisting). I discussed holistic therapies with Alex and it was great to talk to a likeminded individual. My cabin was excellent, very comfortable and the air con worked a treat. Steph was really informative and helpful throughout the week. Met some lovely interesting people. My only downside was the heat (24th June), and it got to the point I was waiting until late PM to do things on land, and moving around on the sun loungers constantly to keep in the limited amount of shade. Hvar is essentially a really busy port with night life options for those who want to party and I would have happily skipped this visit (Makarska, Mlijet and Korcula were much nicer for me). The Explorer does have something for everyone – breath taking coast lines and places to visit and good swim stops.

This is probably the best way to travel if you want to see a lot of places, but don't want the hassle of organizing every day and driving there. Julie our Tourguide made an awesome job providing everything we need for our excursions as well as information about the cities like history, points of interest or restaurants/bars. Also a shout-out to the chefs Darko and Snijezana for excellent lunch every day. The waiters Stjepan and Karla made great cocktails, were available every time and were always in a good mood. Captain Mate and the Sailors Pero, Nikola and Marin made the trip very smooth. We had a mixed group from America, Australia, UK, Singapur and Germany, which made for a lot of interesting conversations. Overall easily the best vacation I have ever had.

My experience with Sail Croatia (Explorer, Split to Dubrovnik, Kleopatra) went above and beyond in every aspect. The boat was in great shape, the cabins were a decent size and the crew was friendly and helpful. Each day I felt like we got rock star parking in our ports of call and it made it so easy to hop on and off the boat as needed. Excursions were thoughtful and well-organized but there was also no pressure to participate in anything. The other travelers on the boat were all kind, interesting and friendly and having such a great group was the icing on the cake which was great for me as a solo traveler. Ioana was our coordinator and she was great at communicating in-person and via What's App and she had a wonderful attitude and approach to everything. 10 out of 10 recommend this trip!

The Explorer trip was definitely the highlight of my travels! Croatia is stunningly beautiful and we got to experience it in the most amazing way. Ivan was a knowledgeable, considerate and funny tour manager and guide. Daniel kept the drinks going and the chef made us the most delicious and creative meals. All the staff on the boat were so lovely and friendly, as were my fellow passengers. Salve Di Mare is a brand-new gorgeous ship that made me very glad I paid a little extra for it. Ich bin Ende September mit der Almissa von Split nach Dubrovnik gefahren. Die Yacht ist echt super schön. Meine Kabine auf dem Unterdeck war sehr geräumig, und modern eingerichtet. Die Almissa ist nicht nur eine tolle Yacht, sondern ihre Crew ist auch einfach der Hammer. Alle super nett.. An Bord auch wichtig: Essen war lecker (es hätte aber gerne mehr kroatisches Essen geben können!), die Bar gut bestückt. Wir hatten Ende September noch super Wetter, und die Schwimmstopps in verborgenen Buchten waren echt cool. Allerdings hätte ich mir schon manchmal mehr Zeit auf den Inseln gewünscht, vor allem tagsüber. Vielleicht wäre es eine Idee, verstärkt kleinere Inseln anzulaufen? - Was aber so eine Fahrt besonders macht, sind die Mitreisenden: ich mache normalerweise keine Gruppenreisen, von daher war ich echt sehr positiv überrascht. Unser Tourguide Karolina hat für eine gechillte Atmo an Bord gesorgt. (einen besseren Guide hätte ich mir nicht vorstellen können) Wir waren 25 Gäste an Bord (hauptsächlich Briten und Nordamerikaner, Bordsprache Englisch), hatten einen Mordsspaß zusammen und haben viel gefeiert. Sollte es neue Routen geben, würde ich sicher nochmal mitfahren!

Traveled from Dubrovnik to Split on the Queen Jelena in September 2021, Solo Cruise. Wonderful trip! Wonderful boot! Wonderful crew!!! Wonderful country! Wonderful places! Soo friendly, polite, service minded! Breakfast and lunch were exceptional good. Only very positive things to mention. Everything was just perfect! Also our guide Karolina gave us daily detailed information and tips, made reservations, etcetera. She will help you in any way. Note: I was not informed that there were only three single travellers on my Solo Cruise. Four couples of another boat had been 'transfered' to my boat. After 1,5 year missing social contacts, it was to me very important to have a group of singles to spend the trip with.

The boat was great, food excellent, our SC hostess really did her best to accommodate everybody's requests onboard, and offboard daily excursions. The crew were very helpful and even suggested a few detours from the designated route to show us 2 more smaller islands. The captain knew the islands really well and always stopped the boat in beautiful isolated coves for our swim stops .. Night life was full on -- both on and off the boat. Cruise professionally orgainised and far better than my expectations. Would highly recommend it, and will probably book again on the hiking cruise next time.

The week with Sail Croatia was the least stressful and most fun vacation I've ever been on. Having a cabin on the boat meant not having to unpack and repack every day, which is what you would have to do if you went to see all of the islands on your own. Also, the travel time between islands was spent relaxing and getting to know the other passengers, instead of worrying about catching ferries and trying to find somewhere to sit. Sail Croatia provided a great balance of planned activities and time to explore with most stops offering an option for an excursion or free time on your own. It was definitely the best way to see the most of the Dalmatian coast in just 8 days. I would highly recommend this trip to any solo traveler.

I spent a week on the Salve di Mare, one of the newest ships. The Explorer was the right format for me, with a good mix sightseeing and partying. I highly recommend the Mljet bike excursion. There were some AC issues (which were fixed) and high winds on one morning, but the trip was very enjoyable overall. Knowing I wanted to see the islands of Croatia -- but recognizing I'm awful at doing my own day-to-day planning -- I booked onto an Explorer cruise with Sail Croatia, onboard ALMISSA. My considerable apprehensions about booking solo into a communal experience were allayed within the first hours -- not only were all the fellow travelers pleasant and friendly (including a few other solo travelers on board), but the crew members were relaxed, hospitable, and very welcoming. Mia, our Sail Croatia guide, was friendly, attentive, and organized. Further, the crew of Almissa clearly take great pride in their work -- not only providing their guests with an unpretentious but fantastic experience, but also caring for the ship they own and/or operate wholeheartedly. The itinerary overall was a good balance of structured vs. free time (although with complete freedom to do as one wishes, regardless), and the food onboard was well crafted and generally delicious. Don't hesitate to book on Almissa!

From the moment I jumped on the website to book, the ladies at Sail Croatia took care of me. It was a very easy trip to organise, and with only a week out, I was sailing with the best crew and people I've met. I did the trip solo, but I'm so glad I did because I met lifelong friends and was treated by the crew on Almissa like family. They honestly made me feel so welcome and happy. The food onboard Almissa was incredible, they went above and beyond to cater for us. The locations and wine in Croatia were unreal, I loved the tour guide Antonio's suggestions and his historical tales in every city. We were on board for the last week of the tourist season, so we only had 28 people on board. Most were couples, but 4 of us were solo travelers. The dynamics of the boat made it very easy to become close with everyone. The experience was beyond anything I expected. The rooms were surprisingly big, as well as the bathrooms. The dining room was beautiful. The hot tub was fun. It did turn off at one point and we had to wait for it to heat up again, but that was a cool Luxury to have on the boat. If you’re on the edge of deciding to go, I definitely urge you do it! I’d love to go again.

Perfect break away! Lovely boat fully equipped. Great food catering to dietary needs. Well stocked bar, friendly and welcoming crew. Well organised, lots of exertions on offer and help to arrange others chosen by the group. Lara our tour guide was amazing!! Fantastic holiday to do as a first time and slightly nervous solo traveller. Only complaint would be the hot tub- never once got up to temperature, frequently was turned off rather than leaving on to reach and maintain temperature despite lots of requests. Many occasions of going to use it and finding it was simply too cold. Real let down when one of the reasons you’ve chosen the Crystal is for the hot tub and I know there were many guests who felt that way.

I loved visiting Croatia and the islands in this manner and would definitely do it again and recommend it to others. The boat, Cristal, was gorgeous - bigger and nicer than I expected. The food started out great at the beginning of the week, but got more ordinary as the week went on. Personally, I would have liked more time in port to explore the islands, but I talked to others who wanted more down-time sailing. Therefore, I'd say it was a pretty good balance. However, I would have preferred more time in Korcula town and less (or none) in Vela Luca. I thought the crew served us well and Ana seemed to have endless energy in providing guidance and support to all passengers.

Had the most amazing experience on the Almissa, Explorer cruise. Firstly, the staff is awesome. From our guide Ivana, Captain Jure, Ante and Antonia as well as the sailors made this a unique experience. The food was good and the entire ship is so clean, nice to relax on I loved the Almissa. Rooms are clean and spacious, had lower level bed, quiet and cool room. We swam in beautiful waters, ate delicious food and had the best Captain’s dinner (deejay Nikki). I cant recommend sail croatia enough and if you have the choice, sail almissa! Everyone was great on board and we had a lovely time thanks to the crew and sail croatia. Thank you for one of the best weeks of my life! Hope to sail again xo Nikki

Anna, Captain Yuri, and everyone else in the crew were one of the finest and the most lovely bunch of human beings I have ever came across. The other guests were lovely and I never felt like I was travelling solo. The itinerary was very well made and the boat, Almissa probably is the most beautiful and luxurious boat I have ever come across. I had an amazing time and words are not enough to describe my experience. I can only say that go with Almissa and the crew without even thinking again.

Firstly Mateo, our leader on the boat was amazing for this group on the Explorer cruise on the Liberty. Mateo was so experienced for a group of our ages from young up to 60 years. He had such a great way of getting along with everyone. The cruise was organised so well, I had missed the boat from Split and was beautifully welcomed by Mateo and filled in quickly the rules and made me feel so welcome a comfortable after a terrible day. I would recommend Sail Croatia to everyone, one of the best trips I have ever been on and made friends for life. Nina & Julia and all the staff were amazing and helped us in every need we had, all our questions answered and made sure we had a fabulous time.. Rooms were top class, food was the best and I will be forever grateful for the amazing crew for a brilliant holiday.. Thank you to all and especially Mateo, Nina and Julia :)

Everything about the week on Almissa was perfect! The food, the boat, the crew, Lara our guide, the swim stops, the rhythm of the vacation. I loved every minute of my vacation and Croatia is beautiful! A must! I highly recommend this vacation. As a solo traveller, I had the right amount of alone time and time with the group. I had the greatest week on Emanuel! The crew was very attentive, boat kept spotless and Ana was so passionate in sharing all about Croatia and always went above and beyond to create great experiences for us such as arranging different dinners for us. The food was delicious and the captain was fantastic at getting us the best swim stops! We had a great friendly group on our boat - good mix of people who wanted to have a few drinks and those that didnt, and those who wanted to do extra hikes and those that didn't. Highly recommend :D

I have to say Ana our representative and the crew on board our boat, the Emanuel, went above and beyond to give us the greatest experience of Croatia. The itinerary was perfect, with a good balance of sailing, swimming in crystal clear waters, sightseeing and having time to discover numerous islands. The food on board was delicious, and Ana always had great restaurant recommendations when we docked at an island, my favourite being Sesame in Dubrovnik! I will always have fond memories of this trip, especially because I was travelling alone, and have now made some friends for life! Everything was amazing!

Wonderfull trip with a wonderful crew. Everything was done well. The food was great, Mateo our director was helpful and knowledgeable. The boat was very clean and comfortable. The rooms were comfortable. The ship was perfect, with plenty of room for relaxing in the sun or shade. And there was ample time to swim off the ship, and explore in port.

I had some hesitations taking a 7-day Liberty cruise by myself, but I was immediately put at ease by Mateo and the crew: Nikolai, Augustine, Dino (among others). Their friendliness, humor and helpfulness made all the difference and I was soon chatting with other passengers and making new friends. Within s few days the crew and passengers felt like family and I was having a great time! The beautiful swim stops, island stops and activities were beautiful and fun, the meals on board were delicious (2 talented cooks among the crew) and the cabins were spacious and air-conditioned ( I shared a cabin below deck). To those solo travelers out there with hesitations, I highly recommend this cruise and if you can get this crew, you’re guaranteed a wonderful experience!

I sailed on the Liberty Explorer cruise and all my expectations for the tour were exceeded! The atmosphere on the ship and the tour itself were incredible. A large contributor to this atmosphere were the staff on the ship. A big thank you to our wonderful tour guide Mateo as well as his colleagues Augustin, Nikola, Andrea, Nina, Dino, Anna, Ivanka, Slavica, Ivan and Captain (who’s name has escaped my mind at this moment!) . The crew were sensational, Jure and his crew aboard Almissa could not do enough for their guests. The food was excellent, the boat was spotlessly clean and the crew were very helpful and entertaining. Our guide Vedran was very knowledgeable, helpful, funny and great fun to be around. Everything exceeded my expectations, from the boat, rooms, facilities to the crew, food and other guests. The excursions were great fun and it was the right mix of relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend for anyone traveling alone, as a solo female traveler I felt incredibly safe and the crew and other guests ensured I felt included. Would absolutely love to do it again some day! Was so sad to leave the boat on the last day, and have made some great friends from all corners of the globe. First of all, the crew: Andrija, our cruise representative, couldn't have been more informative, friendly, attentive and professional, one of a kind! Nikola, our waiter, provided a 5* hotel service, while being friendly and helpful for whatever we could possibly need. The chef, Zvone, was incredible: I'm vegetarian, and even for me he made amazing dishes, every day we were excited to see what he would have prepared for us! Finally, the cruise itself: I have no words to describe how beautiful Croatian islands are. They took my breath away. This cruise is a must!!!

The pace of the cruise was perfect. Relaxed but enough variety to stop me getting bored. I liked seeing the differences between the islands. The swim stops each day were in gorgeous secluded coves. Bring a few clothes pegs to hang out your wet swimwear afterwards. The number of guests was good for me as a solo traveller - small enough to get to know everyone by the end of the week but big enough that you weren't limited as to who you spoke with. The crew were helpful & friendly and worked hard to make it a good trip. The food on board was always freshly prepared with buffet breakfast and set menu lunch that was different each day. Having some dinners on shore in local restaurants allows you a bit of choice in what you eat over the week. I liked having an above deck cabin as it was easier to have the window open for some fresh air. The cabin was spacious - in particular the en suite shower room was much bigger than I had expected.

Crystal was a great and comfortable boat (crusing speed of 8 nots). All the crew were so professional, commanded by captain Andrija who did a wonderful welcome speech. Milos the Chef made every dinner so special with fresh and local products with tasty ingredients. We tried great Croatian dishes. Ivana, the tour conductor from Sail Croatia looked after us the whole time making sure we have a great experiences in the local islands! Always ready with historical facts and great recommendations.

I just returned from a one way Split to Dubrovnik Explorer Cruise and cannot recommend the cruise highly enough. The boat we were on Almissa was stunning, only one year old and the air conditioned cabins and ensuites were beautiful, spacious and modern. I was a bit apprehensive about the ages of other guests on board but as a female 40 yo young at heart professional knew I definitely didn’t want an all night party cruise so this ended up being a perfect mix of young professional (25-40) solo/couple travellers and 50+ young at heart adventurous and social older travellers, lots of drinks and social time but also adventure/exploring. I would do this cruise again in a heart beat. Ivana our rep was amazing and a credit to the company, I chose the share option and was paired with a lovely girl my age from NZ, made friends for life and about 12 of us are all still in contact and hung out together whole cruise. Excellent vale for money on Explorer Premier cruise, thank you,

I booked based on the reviews and I will say it was every bit as wonderful & more! The staff was amazing especially the waiter and kitchen staff for carefully selecting foods that were both within my dietary restrictions and local cuisine. I loved that we slept overnight in the ports so we could fully participate in the nightlife and celebrating the Croatia soccer wins! Above that, I was pleasantly surprised by the ages of those on my ship. I wasn’t sure what to expect but everyone was a seasoned traveler and career professional making conversations on board quite interesting.
