The most amazing experience that surpassed all my expectations. The perfect mix of activity and relaxation. We cycled around stunning islands and moored at beautiful harbours. The food on board was excellent and the people I met were a joy. It felt like family by the end of the trip. Our cycled guide Josko was informed, professional, great fun and passionate about his country, giving us insights into the history of this incredible region along with great laughs, encouragement and always making us feel safe. The rest of the staff were superb also. Definitely a trip to be remembered for a long time to come, so sad that it’s over and planning the next one already 🙂

With 3 20-something-year-old kids beginning to go in different directions, we were looking to explore Croatia together and solidify a vacation full of lifelong family memories together. I stumbled upon Sail Croatia as we looked for ways to see the coastal cities and islands. Boy, were we glad we did! An extra bonus was the ability to combine a bit of adventure and activity through a biking cruise. I can't say enough positive things about our experience on Mali Luka and the wonderful crew and captain. Our leaders Mila and Mario, were full of knowledge, experience, hospitality, attention to detail, thoughtfulness, kindness and a passion for the beauty and history of their country. The entire experience was top-notch. The meals and service on board were exceptional and delivered with a smile - always. We loved getting to know so many people from across the world with peace and trust and hospitality. We will forever cherish our memories and new friends from our Sail Croatia experience!

The crew, the biking and islands. The group of people we met. Andro and Matilda were fantastic guides. We enjoyed the rides, scenary and stops. Andro went above and beyond to look after us. The e-bikes were great and I would recommend as some of the rides are steep The Emanuel boat was immaculate and even had a tour with the Captain to the engine room and bridge. The room was clean with a powerful hot shower. Mattress could have done with replacing (cabin 9 ) as I could feel the springs. Food was very good. Soup was always top notch as was the best scrambled egg I’ve ever had. Mains sometimes could have been hotter. Drinks were a bit expensive but cocktails great as were Damir and Ben the bar guys

From booking to check out, Sail Croatia ran a well organized operation. On arrival at the boat our bags were loaded onboard and we were greeted by the captain. Our guides for the bike rides, Mila and Mario, were excellent. They explained the trails and provided history and information on the places we visited. We were pleasantly surprised by the food at all meals, it was delicious and fresh. Thank you chef! The crew took care of us at all meals and in between (thank you Halim and Donche). Took this trip with my family as a last hurrah before my sister gets married. It was everything and more I could have hoped for! I truly believe it was the best way to see Croatia. We did the cycling cruise and visited so many incredible places on the islands we wouldn’t have been able to see otherwise. Our boat was always clean, the meals were FANTASTIC, but what really made it was the crew and our cycling guides. Haleem, one of our crew members, catered to every need and was always around to chat with us or teach us a new card game. Our cycling guides, Mila and Mario, were so knowledgeable and made sure to always provide us with the most out of every opportunity. Would do this trip again in a heartbeat!

Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make sure every need was taken care of! Safety was a priority. CAL and IVICA were so professional, knowledgeable, and so much fun! The biking was incredible and I would HIGHLY recommend the e-bikes for this Southern route. There were long climbs up hill, and without the e-bike I really wouldn’t have enjoyed it nearly as much. The scenery and riding through the small villages and coastal towns was breathtaking. Pictures will never do it justice. The lovely lady that did all the cooking was so accommodating and kind. The meals were delicious and portions were big! The Dionis ship was comfortable and clean, the bartender who also waited on us for all our meals was so attentive to every need.. Our group was a blast, and I’ll never forget the closeness we shared during that amazing week. Many thanks to the Crew that helped make this trip one of the most memorable experiences of my life!

What a great crew!! Our cycling tour guides Tonka and Lola are knowledgeable, fun, supportive, excellent communicators and educators. It is easy to learn from them. Our food was amazing everyday because of an excellent Chef and Sous Chef. Mario, made sure are food was delivered hot, quickly and efficiently with lots of warm smiles. He was constantly observant as he met our needs before we even asked.. Ivan and Ilia were available should there be other needs we had. Anytime we asked!! All these crew members did it with smiles and warm hearts wanting to make our time the best ever!! A big Thank You to all including the Sail-Croatia Office staff who kept us informed before our trip!!

Just back from a fantastic week aboard Dionis. Our guide, Ivica was so knowledgeable and being Croatian, he had so much local knowledge.. The routes were a great mix and being the Split southern route, some aspects (on a push bike rather than e bike) were challenging but that’s what I wanted! Ivica always checked in with everyone to make sure we were all enjoying it. I spent most of my time at the back of the group, where our guide Calum kept me motivated and made the hills less of an issue by playing some cracking tunes! We had lots to chat about and plenty of laughs! Our group (8) quickly bonded and we enjoyed meals out as well as cocktails at Massimo cocktail bar in Korcula. The crew on board Dionis were all excellent and looked after us so well. There was so much food! The best way to spend a week - waking up in new ports and exploring on 2 wheels is so much fun. Croatia is beautiful. Enjoyed the swim stops (although the sea is cold in May). 100% recommend this.

What a fantastic week in Croatia, cycling with a wonderful group of people. Our leads - Ivica and Calum were brilliant so knowledgeable always making sure everyone was ok, very helpful for dinner bookings they would organise this for us. I cannot fault anything it was just simply amazing. I would highly recommend it. The cycling helped us go to places we wouldn’t normally visit. We got information about each place we cycled to and the dinner stop at Gazul on day 2 cycle was truly spectacular. The group chat each day and morning briefing was so useful explaining the ride ahead, The ship Dionis was so nice and the crew were so friendly, the food served was divine. The wonderful Croatian landscape. Our crew onboard the Emanuel who were intelligent, well informed, kind, thoughtful, efficient great guides, cooks and sailors. Food was excellent. We were Matched well with our fellow cyclists in terms of fitness, education, age, compatibility. My disappointment was caused by often having to rush- mainly because of harbour deadlines. This needs sorting out. Fewer tourist boats allowed? It would increase cost but be worth it.

Best vacation of my life! The people of Sail Croatia as well as the people of Croatia were so friendly and accommodating. The boat was big, spacious, clean and beautiful! The islands were amazing and the bike rides beyond fun and exciting, but most importantly was the crew of our boat, our hostess and especially our cycling guide were all off the chart wonderful! To top it all off was the beauty, food and culture of Croatia! Unbelievable!!

What an amazing experience - see more of the real Croatia away from tourist ports!. Our tour leaders were fantastic. Ivica was so knowledgeable about the islands and history and always very aware for our safety. Calhum and his tales and folklore of each town… and of course the best music choice! The whole crew - so attentive to all our needs. Azra and Ino cooked up amazing food and great desserts. Keno always had a smile as he welcomed us to breakfast and served up our drinks. The captain Mate and Ilya- excellent boatman and of course captain Mate’s boat was beautiful and well maintained. Very modern bathrooms with great hot water! My one word of VERY important advice - get the e-bike!!! Especially with loop! Can’t wait for the next one!

The islands were beautiful and the combination of sail and cycling was the best way of seeing them. We saw so many incredible and interesting things. The cycling was more challenging than I expected but the group and the guides kept us all going and the achievement of completing the rides on a pedal bike with the amazing views of the islands was special. We were lucky to be part of a small group of 8 passenger from UK and USA. Everyone got on so well and made a great group that added to the experience. Ivica was a great lead guide with so much experience and local knowledge, he was friendly and looked after the group. Calum kept the fun coming with good stories, playlists, and the best recommendations on where to eat and drink. The Dionis was a lovely boat with a very happy and friendly crew, we felt very comfortable and looked after. The meals on the boat were amazing and kept us fuelled up for the cycling. Our first cycling holiday but won’t be our last.

The people! Crew members, tour guides, fellow cyclists and the friends we came with all added to the entire experience. Marin was a wealth of knowledge. I especially enjoyed the history he shared with us. He is literally a "walking encyclopedia "!The cycling tours were breath taking, exciting and at times very relaxing. Johnny was awesome as a second tour guide. It was reassuring to have him following the group. He also provided so much pertinent information and awesome recommendations. They were both very gracious and giving. Bruno was exceptional, as well. In his quiet and unassuming manner he served food and drinks so respectfully and efficiently. The entire crew was terrific. Our biking/sailing holiday with Sail Croatia’s Columbo was exceptional! A small group of friends did a 1 week sail/bike tour of the northern Adriatic coast of Croatia. Beautiful country, crystal clear water and very friendly people. The accommodations for the 20 guests aboard the Mali Ante were comfortable and clean and the crew of the ship were first class. The two guides provided by Sail Croatia (Lola and Tonka) guided us through fantastic routes through small towns and villages that you would never see on a larger ship. The rides were fun and not terribly challenging, although I do recommend taking an E-bike if you are more into the scenery than the cycling! Truly a 5 star experience!

A superb way of seeing a beautiful country. The Split Northern route is, as advertised, comparatively gentle. The scenery is stunning (Krka National Park and Trogir are highlights) and our guides (Lola and Tonka) were friendly, helpful and professional. Our cabin was comfortable, food on board variable (but you won't starve), fresh water available at all times. We didn't feel the need for ebikes but the "ordinary" ones certainly are very ordinary! Inevitably different people want different things from a trip. For us, we would have preferred longer in Trogir - it's SO beautiful, second only to Korcula in our opinion. We would have liked tea and coffee available at all times on board. If Sail Croatia added a few pounds to each booking (to cover the cost) no-one would know - or care. This was our third Sail Croatia trip which speaks volumes. We highly recommend both the company, their staff and the whole concept.

The locations and crew were outstanding. Our guides Mario and Marin were full of knowledge and stressed safe riding. The crew on the boat were also very good. The booking process was less than stellar. My son and I were assigned a room with one double bed, not two singles. Since are large people, it did not work. He slept under the bed. Booking knew the assignment but would not/could not change it. Serious screw up by the office staff.

What a great experience, best way to see parts of Croatia that a lot of people would see on conventional tours. The ship (Columbo), the captain and the crew were awesome, they went out of their way to make the trip a memorable one. So many things. First the people, the guides, Ivan and Marin, were informative, funny and really looked after everyone. The food was very good, although pace yourself there was a lot! The captain, sailors and attendants would do anything for you. The ship was lovely, with lots of space in the cabin, beautiful wood throughout. Last but certainly not least is the country. Wonderful vistas, cruising beautiful waters and great cycling each day. Highly recommend.

1) Smaller group! With that many riders (32) the faster riders, some of whom would have ridden even faster if allowed, spent way too much time waiting for the slower riders. This was the case on the uphills, the downhills, and the level rides. People ride at different speeds, regardless of terrain or type of bike. 2) Longer, full-day rides. One day was only 10 km, which is ridiculous.

The tour team and ship crew were A1. on all accounts. We had some weather to navigate through and again the captain and crew made it all work. We did wish the ship was a tad more updated. Beds were too hard and hot water was not reliable (only a 400 liter tank for all 40 of us). All part of the adventure. Marin and Mario were great tour leaders and kept us all safe. The Croatian food was first rate and plentiful each day. A great time had by all.

This was a fantastic holiday from the beautiful islands we cycled across to the great guides and friendly professional crew of the Mali Luka. The chef produced amazing food for us every day with great verity, accommodating all tastes and requirements. The cycling guides were knowledgeable of the areas we went to, this meant they could remain flexible on routes we took so always managed to cycle in great weather. The information supplied by Sail Croatia before our trip was excellent, letting us know everything we needed to know. The Tour guides were very helpful right from the beginning of the trip. Miranda was an excellent cycle tour leader and explained the routes and stops well. Lola gave great history and location talks throughout the tour. Even though Matilda was observing on this trip, she was also very helpful. The three made a good leading and supporting team. The crew of the Dionis were fantastic and worked hard to make the cruise a wonderful experience. The chefs were amazing and went above and beyond to provide very good vegan meals. The barman was a star, always polite and ready to give good service. The bikes we rode were very good and well maintained. Gears worked smoothly, and the range was right for the hills and routes. The places we visited were beautiful and full of history. We enjoyed swimming at different locations every day. There was always plenty of time to explore.

The warmth and friendliness of the guides, Miranda and Lucy. They were good leaders and very knowledgable. The crew were fantastic, we were well looked after, good wholesome food, and very quick effects t service. They also helped us with our luggage, when traversing across the other boats to disembark. The boat was clean and comfortable. The schedule was changed to adapt to the weather, which worked very well. I would certainly recommend using Sail Croatia!

From the very first contact with Sail Croatia I felt confident that we were in good hands. The communication and information provided were excellent. Our guides, Miranda, Lola and Matilda (in training), were just wonderful - patient, cheerful, friendly, efficient and always helpful. Their experience and efficiency meant we never had to worry about anything all week, just enjoy the beautiful places we visited. The cycle routes were great - a good variety of terrain and views and we visited so many truly stunning places. I loved life on the ship, from the comfortable cosy, quiet (lower) cabin, the delicious vegan meals we were served, the ability to find quiet places to sit or sociable places to have company and a chat. Moving on every day to discover new places and having time to explore and plenty of free time to hike, swim, or just chill in a bar was perfect. It was our first time in Croatia and this was a wonderful way to explore. Now looking at other trips you offer …

It was evident from the start the crew member had no experience and very little English. He didn't even know what vodka was. Apparently the fridge was down so we couldn't get ice or cold white wine. Beer was ok. He did not bring drinks during the meals and did not know how to clear dishes. Food was good but cold. Cabin was good but our toilet in ran the entire week although we had asked crew to fix it 4 times. We turned off the water to the tank between uses. We would have preferred to travel to our locations in the evening instead of waking up to engines starting at 5:30:or 6:00 am every day!
