Our second trip to Croatia was very special for several reasons. The cruise itinerary was varied and excellent overall. Anita was a superb tour manager, always making an extra effort to make everyone happy. She communicates very well, is highly organized, works extraordinarily hard, and always has a smile on her face. The Romantic Star ship is well designed, very comfortable, and the food is healthy and tasty, We were also fortunate that the other passengers were friendly and interesting. I would definitely recommend this cruise to my friends. I do feel that more time should be spent on land. We often landed mid to late afternoon. I feel that the educational component should be enhanced (eg more discussion of Croatian history). I also feel that the ship should overnight in Komiza instead of Vis. But overall the experience was wonderful. Thank you!

Although the destinations were amazing and beautiful, it’s really comes down to the staff and crew that made this trip so enjoyable and memorable! Our cruise director, Vedran, was exceptional, always on point with essential information and an endearing personality that put everyone at ease. The yacht crew were professional but also very friendly to all of the guests. The itinerary from Dubrovnik to Split provided an excellent opportunity to spend some extra time in both cities pre/post cruise. Thanks for the great experience. I have already referred Sail Croatia to two other families planning journeys to Croatia!

My entire experience was wonderful, from the meticulously maintained ship, to the cooks who accommodated my dietary requests, to the excursions we did on land. Just back from a fun-packed week on Katarina covering Split return south. Klara did a great job helping to organise onshore dining for the whole group. And the crew generally gave us a great time. Missoni Bar on Korcula was a highlight along with dinner at Mijet Island. Not forgetting the Captain's Dinner and the duo of guitarists, whose playing had everyone on the dance floor. This was my fourth visit to Croatia and has to be the best. I'll be back.

We had a fantastic time on Sail Croatia, Queen Jelena. The ship itself was spacious and comfortable with plenty of outdoor seating. Our cruise guide Ioana was very dedicated to ensuring all the passengers had an amazing time. The food was delicious and plentiful. We loved the swim stops and the Captains Dinner was a great night. We only had 25 passengers on our cruise and our cabin below deck was comfortable and enough space for our 7 night journey.

I was worried to try a cruise as i get car sick but it was awesome! There was no problem as we were slow and smooth sailing! So happy for the Elegance Cruise. We loved every day! The rooms were so clean and comfortable, meals were excellent and we had a fabulous tour Manager Klara and an awesome bunch of passengers to travel with, we came as strangers and left as friends! Croatia was so beautiful and we loved every stop! Weather was perfect! Captains dinner was great with live singers/guitar players! Highly recommend!! We swam everyday and enjoyed our trip so much!

We cruised from Dubrovnik to Split in early June and loved the experience. Vedran, Yuri, Evo, Almira and the rest of the crew made the trip so special. The ship was impeccable, the breakfast and lunches were wonderful, the swim stops were chilly but fun and the excursions were worth it. Vedran’s daily briefings were informative but also had us all laughing. Wonderful group of travelers on our boat. Met the best people. Was already getting crowded as this is a popular area. I would strongly recommend Sail Croatia especially the Olimp!

The swim stops were amazing! Everyday we would stop at somewhere incredible with crystal clear water, away from the world and have the place to ourselves. You could see the Croatian islands with ferries, lugging your luggage around, spend endless hours researching what to do, see and eat in each island or you could unpack once for the week, have recommendations made for you, no lugging luggage around, no watching where to place feet in pebble beaches with spiky sea urchins when you just jump straight in from the ship. We chose Katarina for its super yacht feel, and that it did! We were lucky to have only 15 in the group which meant having afternoon drinks alone in the hot tub or spending time with the others of the group should you want to, as we became a close knit family! Klara, our cruise director was fun, informative and always willing to assist us all. I’m not a history buff but her morning briefs was enough to get me interested and wanting to know more and she delivered

We’ve just enjoyed the Split return cruise on the beautiful Katarina..The most immaculate boat and the most wonderful crew who took so much pride in their work. We chose a below deck cabin and it was spacious and quiet. Huge compliments to our chefs…the food on board was absolutely delicious…Our tour manager Klara was outstanding..she is so professional,knowledgeable and fun and our week would not have been the same without her…nothing was too much trouble. Her recommendations for activities, restaurants and bars were much appreciated. We were so lucky to have the best group of passengers on board and we enjoyed every moment of their company. If anyone is contemplating booking on Sail Croatia just do it.!! Seriously the best holiday we’ve ever had and would seriously consider booking again.!!!

This cruise from Split took us out to several islands and on to Dubrovnik then back to Split. The amazing staff on Katarina never missed a beat the whole week looking after our every need. What a team! The boat had every luxury you could ask for and the food on board was amazing. The other guests on board also made it a very memorable trip as we all got along famously! Lastly our tour director Karla was the best we have ever had and we have travelled a lot! Her suggestions for on shore activities were fabulous and her professionalism was beyond words. Also her sense of humour definitely made things hum along nicely. We would certainly go back and enjoy another cruise if the opportunity pops up. Loved it!

We enjoyed an amazing 7 day island cruise on Katarina doing the Split south return itinerary. The crew were excellent from Ivana and Angela in the bar/restaurant to the sailors, chefs, room cleaner and of course Captain Ivan. Each island was different and we loved visiting Stari Grad, Hvar Town, Mljet, Dubrovnik, Korcula and Makarska as well as Split. We were blessed with fantastic sunny weather and calm seas. The group all bonded on day 1 and we enjoyed several dinners together on the islands. Highly recommended.

Staff were excellent. Very attentive in all ways. They all worked very hard to ensure we had a great time. Food was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Ship was very clean and well maintained.. A couple of suggestions to make it even better. Have the 3 course meals at night rather than lunch. Or at least vary it. Maybe another night with some entertainment involving music and dancing. All in all a wonderful trip.

Our trip aboard the Olymp was exceptional in every way. From the moment we boarded, we were impressed by the staterooms, crew, food, and itinerary. Our tour guide, Ioana, was fabulous. Very professional and organized, but also appropriately snarky and accommodating. The kitchen, bar, and service crews were equally fantastic. Our cabins were cleaned daily, and the chef accommodated even the smallest request, like keeping the stuffed French toast on the menu. We particularly enjoyed the itinerary, which was thoughtful and had a variety of options that accommodated the diversity of our fellow travelers. Every single island was memorable. .From sharing our morning coffee to cheering on the bravest to get in the cold water, our shared experience with the other passengers was delightful, and we walked away with many new friends. It was really an amazing experience. In fact, our WhatsApp thread is still going strong, even weeks later. What a truly wonderful experience.

He kept us informed with clear daily summaries and thoughtful recommendations, always available for questions and/or to help guests. He went above and beyond, arranging special dinners (like our anniversary at a sought-after spot in Dubrovnik) and unforgettable experiences—the farm dinner at Hora Hvar was a highlight, with amazing food and wine. *A Warm, Welcoming Group The best part? My fellow passengers were amazing people from all over, and together we formed a tight-knit, fun-loving group. Their warmth and camaraderie made every moment memorable and truly magical. The trip was easy to book, with lots of helpful tips and instructions on how to find to the ship in Split harbour. The itinerary was just perfect, island hopping everyday and stopping for swimming while spending a relaxing morning sailing and sunbathing on deck. Our tour host, Dino, made our trip truly memorable as well as the other guests we spent our week with. Dino was amazing, such a delightful guy. Our group is still messaging each other on the WhatsApp chat that Dino set up. We were informed each day of what to expect, what we could see, what time we were setting off, where to eat, drink, best places for anything that any guest was looking for. The holiday was a delightful balance of being well looked after whilst freedom to see/do as much as we wanted. Remember to bring more long-sleeved clothing if travelling in May as evenings are cool. Lunch was a tasty 3-course cooked meal which I would have preferred as a buffet selection personally. Definitely recommend the trip!

Forget those huge cruise ships THIS is the way to travel. Vendrán our guide always made perfect suggestions but you can do as much or as little as you want. Great swim stops every day and lovely clean cabin and boat made for a comfortable week. With fresh cooked food and only 18 on board this was a revelation. I will be booking again. Loved it!

Dino our cruise manager was exceptional! He was friendly, knowledgeable,,patient, helpful and good humoured for the entire week. We were a small group that could have made things difficult but he expertly drew the group together and was fundamental in ensuring the weeks success. The boat was beautiful and well kept, the Captain and his crew made us feel well cared for and the meals prepared on board were delicious!! All in all a really excellent time!! We will certainly recommend.

Dino immediately set the tone of our journey — enjoy our wonderful country, learn our history , be safe and ask any question. He was very experienced. The ship was very nice, food was fine , crew was nice, cabins cleaned great . . . but the real credit goes to our cruise manager , Dino . Without a great cruise manager , this would be a very different journey . He was a good listener , gave great suggestions , used What’s App effectively to stay connected with everyone and was sincere . Bravo.

The Split return to Split itinerary was excellent and allowed us to see many islands and mainland cities.. Dino, the cruise manager communicated clearly, was organized, helpful, enthusiastic and upbeat. He was always available knowledgeable and entertaining.We couldn’t ask for a better manager! Dino guided us to incredible experiences such as the Hora Farm dinner, and also to restaurants and sites in each place we stopped. The crew on the Romantic Star was helpful and professional. The ship was clean and the accommodations were good. I would recommend Sail Croatia to anyone traveling to Croatia.

We just completed our 7 day cruise with Sail Croatia aboard the Romantic Star. We made new friends with people from around the world who enjoyed the food, sun, and wine in Croatia as much as we did. What made the trip special was having Dino assigned to our boat as the cruise manager. He was funny, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to book optional dinners and activities that were special and unique experiences. He also providing valuable information and suggestions throughout the day which was immensely helpful. Our group’s ages were mixed, 40s to 80s, 3 generations and 3 nationalities. Cruisers were similar in being interested in where they were and also relaxing. All enjoyed a drink. Group size was good, enabling interactions with a range of people. People met up in wine bars and restaurants to share stories and compare their travels. It made for fun times. Our guide, Klara was great. She gave clear presentations & shared information electronically on the highlights of our next island and what to see and do there. She always answered questions clearly and provided links eg on laundries. Boat spaces were good, most people enjoying the sundeck daily. Swim stops were well organised with easy water access . Range of activities offered was broad. I loved all the islands. They differed in histories, attractions, opportunities and atmosphere.. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was great, Enjoyed the Captain’s dinner, would have liked to hear him speak more about our lovely boat.

We had the greatest experience. From the time we booked our trip, then embarked and met Mia at Port Gruz our Tour Manager, every part of the trip exceeded our expectations. We had an amazing time sailing on the Queen Jelena with Sail Croatia!! Our guide, Mia, was wonderful, so knowledgeable on the sites we visited. We loved her! It was a great introduction to small boat cruising and we will definitely do it again. It was a beautiful trip with friends and also loved getting to know our travel mates. We just wish we had more time in some of the ports. Food was great. Accommodations surprisingly nice for small boat. Our favorite was hanging out with friends on the sun deck. The transport to from the boat worked out great too. Thank you Mia and Sail Croatia!! We will sea you again, for sure.

Our tour director, Vedran, and Esperanza's crew provided us with a great experience both on board and on shore. Their hospitality was exceptional, as they made every effort to ensure our experience was outstanding. Passengers from 4 different countries made the trip even more delightful. The weather was perfect for exploring the islands. Food was excellent both on the ship and at our ports of call. Although the May water temperature was cool, swimming off the back of the Esperanza was a daily ritual that made our trip even more memorable. I can't remember the last time I had so much fun. Overall, it was a fantastic experience; I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful week aboard Esperanza May 18 to 25. Our ship guide, Vedran ('V') was just the best in managing our group of 34 persons; V was an excellent communicator, readily available and always helpful. V kept us laughing and was so much fun, seeming to really enjoy his job. The ship was beautifully appointed; the rooms were spacious with great showers and lots of storage. We appreciated the rooms being cleaned early every day. We also really appreciated the ease of entering and exiting the sea from the ship during our daily swim stops . The quantity and quality of the food was perfect, beautifully presented and professionally served. Hats off to all of the onboard ship staff! We really liked the balance of ship and shore time, feeling that we had a relaxing time but also learned about the local history. The only 2 things we might have liked were an extra salad bar al lunch (long line up for salad) and possibly an optional drink package. Thank you Sail Croatia.
