Everyone on the Afrodita works so hard, the ship was very well maintained and the food was great. The hike guides very good and well informed. The trails were not maintained by any standards basically goat paths. I slipped and fell on first hike injured my leg, cuts and bruised on the loose sharp rock. The guides Martin and ILona were great. Martin applied bandages to my leg to stop the bleeding then helped me finish the last kilometer back to the boat. I had to skip the hike the next day and only did 5 of the 7 hikes opting to do the easiest. Looking back I wish I knew the trail conditions, the length and elevations were all that I remember and the hikes were moderate. Next time we will do the elegant cruse. I wish I could give 5 stars.

It was my first time visiting Croatia and first time on this type of cruise. Both were incredible - the small Explorer cruise was a great way to explore the islands of Croatia. The sea and landscape in Croatia are stunning. Our tour guide, Vicko, was knowledgeable and friendly. I appreciated how honest he was about which excursions would give us the best experience, he never pushed us to book something unless he really thought we would enjoy it. (And all of his recommendations were spot on.) We traveled as a family with a broad age range, and the Explorer cruise was fun for everyone. If you can, I'd recommend spending a few days before or after the cruise visiting the cities, since we spent almost all of the time on the islands.

There were about twenty of us traveling as a group. We made nice friendships with the other guests on the ship. The rides and the option of e-bikes makes this adventure accessible and fun for everyone. Our guides were friendly and knowledgeable. They provided insight into history of the area offered great suggestions for dinner and activities when we were not cycling. The captain and crew were also very friendly and skilled.

Comfortable cabin below deck! Quiet, comfortable bed and bigger than expected! Amazing friendly staff and captain. We had 20 guests which made it easy to get to know everyone. Andro was our bike leader and did a great job keeping us all together. Matilda was so good at helping with information on dining and site seeing on each island! The trip was well organized and so much fun. The only suggestion is everyone should rent bikes as we ended up waiting for hybrids too often! Bike riders can turn assist down or off if they want more workout...or have 2 group leaders. The food on board was plentiful and very good. I will recommend to anyone wanting to bike the beautiful islands!@

I had not done a trip like this before so wasn’t sure what to expect. It was such a wonderful way to see a country. I am glad I got an e-bike as there were many hills that I would not have been able to ride with a regular bike. The views were always stunning. The food was great. The captain and crew were experienced to know how to adapt the trip to keep is safe while getting the most out of our experience. The bed/room was comfy and clean and provided Air Conditioning for hot nights. WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AND GREAT MEMORIES!

We spent a week sailing from Split to Dubrovnick on Slice of Heaven with Tony and Matea. They were amazing in all ways. Tony skippered the boat with safety and professionalism centered, yet was extremely flexible in adjusting to our interests in bicycling on the islands and sailing when the wind was up. Mattea was an amazing host and chef extraordinaire. She set a very high standard for breakfast and lunch that will be impossible to duplicate. I would highly recommend Sail Croatia, especially if you can land these two!

From the moment we arrived to the ship, we received a friendly and professional greeting. The crew and guides were fantastic - did their utmost to accommodate any requests. 'J' our lead guide was very knowledgeable and gave a great historical account on our routes. All the crew: J, Louvre, Lucy, Harris went above and beyond, the chefs (food was great!) captains (smooth sailing all the way!) - everyone was so nice. The route and scenery exceeded expectations and we enjoyed swim stops along the way. The rest of the group that we met were all so welcoming and everyone mixed well with lots of chats and laughter. I would highly recommend.

The most amazing experience that surpassed all my expectations. The perfect mix of activity and relaxation. We cycled around stunning islands and moored at beautiful harbours. The food on board was excellent and the people I met were a joy. It felt like family by the end of the trip. Our cycled guide Josko was informed, professional, great fun and passionate about his country, giving us insights into the history of this incredible region along with great laughs, encouragement and always making us feel safe. The rest of the staff were superb also. Definitely a trip to be remembered for a long time to come, so sad that it’s over and planning the next one already 🙂

We did so much research on the company, vessel and cruise as we had never done one of these before and honestly we had the trip of a lifetime. Salve di Mare was such a great boat and the explorer cruise had a really great mix of people and good split of relaxing/activities. Honestly what made our trip the most special were the other people we met on the cruise and the incredible staff (shout out to Vicko)

More comfortable seating and a shaded area on the top deck More time in port - the water is cold in early May so swimming isn’t a good activity. If the ship can’t dock earlier, the option of getting a water taxi or tender to port should be an option. Excursions were over-priced

From the minute we stepped on the boat until the final beer back in Split marina this trip was just amazing. The boat was exactly as advertised and the Sail Croatia team made the whole process very easy. Special thanks to our skipper, Ivan, who really made the trip a great experience. He was more than happy to accommodate the extra stops we wanted to make and was incredibly patient with our lack of boating knowledge (I think I know how to tie a rope now!). The cruise was incredible. I felt at home the second I got on the boat. The staff was so friendly and everyone on our boat was as well. The boat was incredibly clean and luxurious. I loved how we had time in the morning to relax and then the afternoon to do excursions and explore. It was the perfect balance. Our guide Vicko was amazing! He had so much information to share and was always honest with his recommendations about what he thought were the best things to do at each stop. We all got along so well and I feel we made lifelong friends! I would 100% do another Sail Croatia tour again!

We chose Sail Croatia Explorer Cruise on the Salve De Mare as our summer family vacation with our 20 and 24 year old children. It was the perfect mixture of relaxation, sight seeing, adventure, and exploring. Our travel rep, Vicko, was awesome. He was always leading the way with great advice and direction. The crew of the Salve de Mare went above and beyond to accommodate and ensure everyone had a good time. The food and drinks on board were diverse and delicious. This was an intimate cruise with only 33 passengers and 9 crew. We truly came as strangers and left as friends. I would highly recommend Sail Croatia and Salve de Mare. Had amazing trip on the Salve di Mare from Dubrovnik to Split. The boat is beautiful, comfortable rooms, lovely dining lounge along with a fantastic top deck perfect for taking in the views. The crew was delightful and accommodating, making our week enjoyable. Our representative, Vicko, was exceptional—very knowledgeable, fun to be around, always ready with honest recommendations. Met some great people along the way, Croatians are very friendly and genuine people. Wouldn’t hesitate to do this trip again. I absolutely loved the experience!

We had a great time on and off the boat. We traveled as a couple with a set of friends. The hikes were good and guided very well by Illona and Martin. The only thing I would recommend to change is the fixed lunch as we could have enjoyed a few longer hikes without having to rush back for lunch on the boat. It was especially the case with the hike from Makarska after an hours bus drive to the national park. That day we also had the captains dinner on the boat so we could have had lunch on the mountain in the national park. All in all we had a wonderful holiday!

This would be a harmonious combo of the people that we were blessed with on the boat, their ability to recover quickly from hangovers and our gorgeous guide Nora + the phenomenal team that ran our small but SHARP home of a boat MLINI!!!!! Naturally, we as humans are always nervous to meet new people but when me and my bestie were blessed with the people that had booked the same boat as ours, it’s like the string theory really proved itself real. Having made amazing memories that I’ll forever cherish with these new people and seeing the beautiful towns and cities that Croatia has to offer. This week was truly one that will be cherished in my mind and soul forever. Nora and the team played a huge part in this, being the glue that held us all together when we felt like the grim reaper was latching on to steal us away to the depths of hell from a hangover that was very quickly erased after breakfast, lunch, a swim stop and a beer. Big love forever to all of you ❤️❤️❤️

Clara and the crew were absolutely exceptional. I had such an amazing time on the boat because of these amazing people. Clara and her knowledge and organisation of the excursions and her ability to mix with everyone on the boat made everyone feel at home. Chef Alex got me up every morning with his breakfast and kept us fed right up to dinner with his 3 course meal. The rest of the crew were also all exceptional and it wouldn’t have been as great without them. I would recommend this week to anyone!

Not only was the location of the cruise stunning but the experience was made so much better by the crew of Salve de Mare and our guide Vicko. Every day was laid out for us in advance with advice on the best excursions and places to visit. The crew of the ship was always attentive and the food was delicious. I was a bit nervous going into this trip since it was my first solo adventure, but it turned out to be one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I really enjoyed sailing from Split to Dubrovnik on the Almissa. It's a lovely boat, with really nice, clean rooms and a great top deck to enjoy the views from. The crew were lovely, friendly and made the week fun. Our rep Vicko was fab - there didn't seem to be a thing about Croatia and the islands we visited he didn't know. The food was the definite highlight - we had very generous portions of delicious food. I loved it.

We have just returned from a fabulous week sailing the coastline of Croatia! The scenery was beautiful, the activities were thoughtful and well-planned, the crew were exceptional and the food was delicious. Staff were excellent. Very attentive in all ways. They all worked very hard to ensure we had a great time. Food was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Ship was very clean and well maintained.. A couple of suggestions to make it even better. Have the 3 course meals at night rather than lunch. Or at least vary it. Maybe another night with some entertainment involving music and dancing. All in all a wonderful trip.
