Introducing... MS Olimp
Sail Croatia welcomed Olimp into its fleet in 2017 as its newest, custom built ship. She is around 50 metres long and almost 9 metres wide - her breathtaking size is something to be marvelled at as it makes her stand out in port and is even more beautiful once you step on board.
Offering both above and lower deck twin and double cabins, all with excellent air-conditioning options, Olimp is set to guarantee an amazing sailing adventure to all 36 of its lucky passengers. They can relax on the main deck, in the saloon, or take in the sunshine and the spectacular Adriatic scenery from the top-deck splash pool, with a cocktail in their hands made by a skillful bartender at one of the onboard bars.
The captain and crew onboard Olimp are well known for their friendliness and welcoming nature and incredible hospitality. You will enjoy every moment on Olimp, making new friends with all your fellow passengers and hard working crew, and enjoying the many sights and activities that Croatia has on offer.
Always keep an eye out for the friendly face of Olimp’s owner, Anton. Following generations in shipping and tourism, Anton understands what it means to be in the industry. Anton is willing to offer a helping hand, a morning greeting, friendly smile or piece of advice to any guest, whenever it is needed. He enjoys socializing with his guests, giving them the unique opportunity to ask him many questions and find out more about his life, his boat or Dalmatian style of life in general, making sailing on Olimp a unique and one of a kind opportunity.
Anton has previously built two other boats and has had a multitude of Sailing experience, and he has entrusted his magnificent ship to Sail Croatia only. In Anton’s own words his bond with Sail Croatia is both ‘personal and professional’ based on mutual ‘respect, trust and admiration’.
The name Olimp may seem unusual to some, but for Anton, this was the most logical and fitting choice. Olimp is derived from the Croatian version of Olympus - the home of the ancient Greek Gods in mythology. The name accurately represents the robustness and grandiosity of the ship perfectly.
Nowadays, many people consider Croatia a ‘must see’ and bucket list item in Europe. When a country is lucky enough to have over one-thousand different islands, it would be a shame not to experience all the beautiful scenery that the coastline has to offer.
Whether you are an experienced life-long ship traveller or just dipping your toes in the world of cruising, Sail Croatia's Elegance cruises are the perfect solution - so don't miss your chance to enjoy a luxury cruising experience onboard Olimp this Summer!
