We were on the Romantic Star on the Elegance Cruise. The cabin suite was very spacious and had great storage for all our personal effects. Loved the full size windows to watch the scenery as we cruised. The crew really made an effort to accommodate my special food diet, which was really appreciated. We only had 19 passengers on our cruise as it was near the end of the season, which was really nice as there was so much space on the vessel to hang out. We loved the itinerary to all the different islands. This cruise is very good value for the price and would recommend it to others.

This was a great experience. Vin did a great job coordinating all of the wine tastings and providing excellent background to each destination. Also, Tony and Henry did a great job with the bar service and meal service. The food was excellent and the chef did a great job. The only issue was one of the wine tasting destinations had a problem with the bus not being available for returning us to the marina. Several vans were ordered to accommodate everyone's return trip. It was amazing from start to finish, staff were so friendly, the food that came out the small kitchen was absolutely delicious , our tour guide was so informative, he booked restaurants for us , bars, knew everything about every area we stopped he couldn’t have been any better , we had daily swim stops which were beautiful, full breakfasts, 3 course lunches , tea and biscuits, I was really sceptical when booking , but it is one of the best holidays I have been one , anyone debating on going with sail Croatia , please don’t it was amazing and I will definitely be doing another one

We travelled on the OLIMP. The only weakness of this trip was the arrival into Dubrovnik. This was a special week made so by the boat crew, staff Sail Croatia and the other guests. Would I do this again - YES. The islands, swimming spots were beautiful.

The experience onboard Katarina was personable, and fun, The crew knew us by name almost immediately. They were attentive, caring, easy going, fun and kind. The boat was well laid out, and when we were able, the swim stops were a highlight. The Captains dinner was an opportunity for us to celebrate our time on the water, and it did not disappoint. Ivan hired a live band, and we danced through each course at dinner, through until the end!

We enjoyed our travel of the Croatian islands with Sail Croatia. Ioana made the experience great ! She has given reliable information and realistic expectations of the activities every day. We made so many friends which added value to the experience itself! Food is great ! The cabin was spacious and clean. We just finished this 7 day cruise Split to Dubrovnik. Stormy weather on Day 1 forced some itinerary changes but the sun soon came out and all was plain sailing. Visited Hvar Korcula Mljet Sipan and Dubrovnik. Relaxed mornings with swim stops in isolated coves, 3 course delicious meals at lunch. In the afternoon and evening wine tasting and on shore dinners. We learnt a lot about Croatian wines and local life on the islands. Friendly crew , personable host Vin and the wonderful chef made for a very pleasant cruise.. Our upper deck accommodation was clean and comfortable. We'd recommend this cruise, suitable for 40s to 80s!

MV Katarina was excellent! Every aspect of the cruise was well thought through and enjoyable. The meals on-board were first class - plentiful amount of food that was tasty, beautifully presented and with good variety. The staff on board were friendly, helpful and provided impeccable service (particularly the wait/bar-staff). The cabin and bathroom were a good size and super clean, and the shower spacious with good water pressure and hot-water. The boat itself is kept immaculately clean and felt new with plenty of areas to relax and enjoy the scenery. The itinerary was great and provided a good balance between time for sightseeing and relaxing, with a variety of activities and tours on offer. I particularly enjoyed the swim stops in secluded bays. Special thanks to our cruise director Ioana who communicated well, was helpful and organised. I thoroughly recommend Sail Croatia (who were great at communication before the cruise) and MV Katerina.

Katerina is owned and crewed by the family. This is a 5 star rating. Ship is spotless and crew are the best. Owner and crew (mostly family and cousins) are so attentive to every detail. Meals: adequate and enjoyable but not outstanding. Captains' dinner was very good. Activities: not memorable. Walking tour in Dubrovnik was boring. Ship provided dinner was not impressive. Should have stayed in port and gone to local restaurant Ioana our tour director was 5 stars' She had to deal with a lot of shifting itinerary and was a truly shing star for the passengers. Overall was a nice experience. Met a lot of good people and that was a big plus; Croatia is very expensive on the street Plan to spend some BIG $$ in local establishments. Overall, a check on our bucket list. Nice but would not do again

It was evident from the start that this was a cruise on a well maintained ship that was in family ownership - with family serving as captain and bar tender. The whole crew were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We were treated to great food and swim stops were arranged in a safe environment. Tours were expertly arranged. My husband and I had a wonderful experience on the Olimp. The crew on the boat was professional, considerate, and hard working. The ship itself was kept fastidious and our meals were delicious. Vedran our coordinator and guide was fabulous. He is knowledgeable, clear and always ready to answer any question. He made sure everyone was well taken care of. You need to clone him!

From the very beginning our time upon the Katarina was wonderful. Ioana arranged excursions beautifully and was very flexible with everyone. We met so many nice people on board and feel like we all got along very well. The rooms were spacious and the showers hot with great water pressure and comfortable beds. The crew is amazing. It is a family business and it feels like it. They all work together to make the stay extra special. There is not a speck of dirt on this boat. They are always cleaning- even saw the captain out cleaning . The food is good. Breakfast and lunches are included and very filling. Almost too much food in fact! I hated to be wasteful but dinner was large portions. The drinks are great and the bar staff was also wonderful. From beginning to end it was a fantastic trip and I would very much do it all over again!

We sailed on the Queen Jelena (Split North itinerary). Beautiful boat, really good crew. The food onboard was just OK, often just warm rather than hot. A 3 course lunch is not what most people have day to day at home and the thoughts from fellow passengers were thst this was a bit rigid and maybe a buffet style lighter lunch would be better as it felt you had breakfast and a couple of hours later a large lunch making you lethargic. Trips were ok, village dinner was good, buggy trip was good but not best value. More time needed in Dubrovnik as it beautiful, I would skip the walking tour (pointless) and enjoy more time exploring yourself. All stops on this itinerary were beautiful. One last point; the daily briefing should be carried out using the TV in the saloon as shown on the website content so you can actually get a visual idea of your day ahead. The WhatsApp group is useful when it's set up. Overall a good experience, 7.5/ 10

This trip was organised by my wife,Tracy, having never cruised before my expectations were low, however from the time we arrived on the boat to the time we left the experience was exceeded. We meet 36 people who we had never met before from America, Canada, Barbados and the UK, we had so much fun. The ship’s crew were fun and worked hard to make sure we enjoyed our time onboard. Croatia is a beautiful country and the people we have met have been fantastic. Would we do it again -YES.

My husband and I had a wonderful time on the Sail Croatia Elegance cruise from Dubrovnik to Split in mid-September. We loved the morning swim breaks followed by delicious 3-course lunches then activities on the next island/stop—it was a great mix of lazy and active. The ship was roomy and comfortable so it was easy to hang out with people or find space to be alone. Everything was well-planned and organized, and ran so smoothly. We were very grateful for Visco, our impressive tour manager, who had a wonderful style—friendly and informative; each morning he described our itinerary for the day, told us more about what was unique about the stop, activities we might want to do, and things like how to find transportation if we wanted to wander further. We booked sail Croatia cruise for our 30th wedding anniversary and have never cruised before. We were a little skeptical in the beginning if this would be right for us. But we absolutely LOVED this small group setting the swim stops, the food, the ship and rooms were absolutely great.. We had wished that there were pool noodles as my husband isn't a big swimmer. The pillows in the rooms were not very supportive - but all in all we would absolutely come back for a Sail Croatia cruise! We enjoyed the crew and getting to know the passengers. . The food was inconsistent, not always stellar . Much of it dry and cold, the coffee was instant, and we had to pay extra for real coffee. The islands themselves very scenic, the ship was clean, and the crew were amazing. We would do a smaller cruise but upgrade to a fancier ship with better food. Otherwise, great memories were made.

We had an amazing trip from Dubrovnik to Split on board the Queen Jelena. This is an ideal way to get a taste of the beautiful islands that lie between these two major towns. The communication and information from Sail Croatia staff prior to the trip was very good. The ship is a beauty and stands out from the more modern looking ones wherever we docked. The service from the friendly crew on board was excellent. Vicko, our Sail Croatia guide, provided us with tons of helpful information at each of the briefings and via the WhatsApp group - so much so, that we really missed him when we had to fend for ourselves again at the end of the cruise! The quality of the food on board was very good. We had breakfast & 3 course lunch on board and then fended for ourselves in the evening, except for the Captain's dinner and a meal at a Croatian village on one of the islands. The cruise was also made special by our lovely cruise companions we met from Australia, Canada, New Zealand and UK.

Stunning scenery, luxurious accommodation, delicious meals, and excellent crew and trip leader. We never thought we’d take a cruise, but being with a small group appealed to us. Although Sail Croatia advertises their trips as small group experiences that describes life on the ship, but not ashore. At first we were quite taken aback that our ship would raft with as many nine other ships in port. I wish Sail Croatia had included at least one photo of the boats rafted in their trailer on the website so this wasn’t such a surprise for many of us. Disappointing, but it didn’t ruin our trip. The daily swim stops when we were anchored provided a quieter experience that we were looking for. Our trip leader, Ivan, was both well organized and knowledgeable. He provided great suggestions of what to do on the islands in his detailed daily itineraries. He also shared his vast knowledge of the history of Croatia with us in his talks which were really interesting. We loved his surprise on Hvar!

First of all the added costs. Quite a few of the added activities were charged. The prices when converted to Australian dollars were quite expensive. Recommended tipping at the end was very high and this was noted by other passengers as well. We were looking at around AU$700 for the service. Considering how much we paid for the cruise wevconsidered it unreasonable to expect extra charges like this on top. Meals. Breakfasts were very nice. However, some of the lunches were variable in quality. Generally, the entree and deserts were fine but some of the main courses were not to liking. Captains dinner was disappointing. The Entertainment was noisy: not allowing any kind of conversation between the passengers. As an older couple, we found the loud music and tactic singing and dancing to be a bit disconcerting. Nikos and Ivanka were both friendly and always helpful. 5 stars to both of them. Also, the cabin was comfortable and clean and about was beautifully presented.

All was excellent. Staff were all wonderful--personable, helpful, and really good at their jobs. The 2 women serving us were terrific. Food was excellent. Captain clearly had tremendous expertise and also found great spots for swim stops. Finally, I figure that you in general select really good people, but I can t believe anyone is as good as Vicko. He is simply outstanding: personable, knowledgeable, informative, and entertaining. Gave him a 5 only because the scale didn't go higher. A couple of very minor things: some things like "noodles" to float in the water would be nice, and recycling for paper and cans on the ship would be a good idea. All in all, just great.
