To ensure these experiences are safe, enjoyable, and memorable, we are seeking a dedicated Marine Engineer to join our dynamic team in Split. This role is crucial for the seamless turnaround of our yachts during the peak season, contributing to the satisfaction of our guests.

Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Demonstrates an aptitude for assigned responsibilities, including technical and customer service skills.
  • Physical fitness is essential as the role requires walking, lifting, bending, and other physical abilities.
  • A valid Skipper's License is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • High-level communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A self-starter capable of working under minimum supervision.
  • Flexibility in working hours due to the guest arrival schedule.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • An in-depth understanding of the Yacht Charter, Nautical Tourism, and Marine Industries.
Technical Duties:
  • Collaborate with the team to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair yacht systems and equipment.
  • Perform or assist with complex repairs, ensuring the highest quality of workmanship.
  • Carry out precision machining and hand fitting processes.
  • Utilize hand tools and machines for tasks such as cutting, drilling, shaping, grinding, and painting.
  • Safely move yacht equipment and components using correct methods.
  • Undertake planned or routine maintenance, adhering to specifications.
  • Select, use, maintain, and store equipment and tools appropriately.
Customer Service Duties:
  • Assist guests during check-in, welcoming them, and escorting them to their yachts.
  • Present the yachts, provide itinerary recommendations, and offer weather forecasts.
  • Communicate yacht charter industry principles, concepts, and processes effectively.
  • Ensure excellent customer service through language skills and non-verbal communication.
  • Complete the check-out process efficiently and professionally.
Work Environment and Safety:
  • Comply with quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Follow and maintain work procedures, method statements, and required records.
  • Work efficiently, considering sustainability and environmental impacts.
  • Prioritize safety for oneself and others within the work environment.
  • Use equipment, materials, and tools safely and efficiently.
