Sales Consultant

Location: Remote (with occasional attendance needed at our Office in Egham, Surrey, UK)

Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 1pm to 9pm (GMT)

Full-time, Permanent role

Salary: £24,000 per year + Commission, based on experience

Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity has recently become available to join our expanding team as a Sales Consultant!

You will join a global and growing Sales Team - as the face of our brands you will be responsible for building valuable relationships with customers via email, phone & live chat. You will be highly motivated with exceptional communication skills & a background in sales. Experience in the travel/tourism industry is preferred. As this position will be conducted remotely, the successful candidate will be required to have suitable work-from-home arrangements and essential computer skills.

The position available is a full-time, permanent remote role, with occasional attendance needed at our Egham, Surrey office. A minimum of 1 month in-office training is mandatory for this position. This is available on a Sunday to Thursday basis, 1pm to 9pm.

Sail Croatia sells cruises both online and directly to high end customers and as such relies on projecting a professional image for the various cruises, tours and products that the brand is well known for.

As well as our core brand, Sail Croatia, we also have a number of other brands operating side by side. Green Sail, our own charity, works within the charter and tourism industry to improve and protect our environment, and Med Experience is our youth travel brand based in Greece.

Interviews will commence in March 2024, with an immediate start!

Ideal Candidates will have:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in the Travel & Tourism industry
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional time management and organisation skills
  • A solid understanding of Apple operating systems, Excel & Word, Google sheets
  • A solid understanding of the English language, including exceptional writing, grammar and phone communication skills
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Fast typing skills is essential to keep up with demand
  • A background in Telesales is preferred, but not essential
  • Experience working remotely is preferred, but not essential
  • Intermediate computer skills are essential due to the remote nature of the role
Responsibilities:
  • Providing high quality customer service to clients
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of all products & locations
  • Coordinating and answering enquiries through multiple channels (phone, live chat, emails)
  • Ensuring weekly sales targets are met
  • Collaborating with other departments to develop and implement new Sales strategies
  • Supporting and motivating your colleagues
