Each year 22% of Sail Croatia bookings are made by solo travellers, and it’s not hard to see why - cruising solo is good for the soul!

Optional excursions are available at most destinations along your itinerary! Taking part in activities such as zip-lining, kayaking and wine tasting are a great way to get to know your fellow travellers and forge a bond that will last a lot longer than the duration of the cruise! After all, there’s no better way start to a friendship than flying high above the Cetina river, capsizing a kayak or sharing a bottle of locally produced wine!
We don't rock the boat
Meeting like-minded travellers is all part of the Sail Croatia experience and as such we take the mix onboard our ships very seriously! Our Reservations Team work hard to ensure each ship has a mix of ages, genders and groups onboard. As a solo traveller, we do our very best to ensure you’re placed on a ship with other solo travellers and smaller groups to maximise your experience onboard.

Onboard Rep to keep you in check
Your onboard representative will look out for you throughout your cruise, and soon become a part of your Sail Croatia family onboard! There’s no such thing as solo travellers after day one, and our representatives do their best to integrate guests by organising family dinners, onboard BBQ’s and optional activities. Not only are they the friend version of a matchmaker, they’ve also got insights into the best places to see and things to do in Croatia. By the end of the week, guests feel more like a family than strangers who met on a cruise 7 days ago.
A cabin all to yourself
If the thought of sharing your cabin with another like-minded traveller doesn’t tickle your fancy, we have our single supplement available on all of our cruises! For the comfort of having a cabin all to yourself, solo travellers can choose to purchase a Single Supplement at an additional cost. Of course if you love meeting new people, we’ll match you with another solo traveller in your cabin!
Private transfers fit for a Queen (or solo traveller!)
Arriving in a new city can be daunting at the best of times, let alone as a solo traveller. We offer airport transfers at an additional cost for those travellers who wish to be whisked straight from the Airport to the ship! Split and Dubrovnik Airports also have regular shuttle busses that meet each flight and can take you to the harbour. This efficient option is also affordable, with the 1 hour journey costing around £4 / €4.50.
