What Health and Safety Measures Will be In Place in Light of COVID-19?
Sail Croatia takes the health and safety of our guests and staff seriously and as such we will be implementing measures onboard
our ships to limit and prevent the spread of the virus. In line with Government guidelines, our staff members have been trained to
adhere to strict Health and Safety procedures and policies until measures can be relaxed.
Upon advice from the Croatian Institute for Public Health, please expect the following measures to be in place throughout your
cruise:
Check-in will be conducted outdoors in a specially designated area
All ships will be thoroughly cleaned daily, as well a final disinfection process occurring prior to guest arrival
Staff will wear appropriate PPE when working around our ships and guests. This may include masks whenever inside social distancing
guidelines and gloves whenever touching surfaces
Hand sanitizer will be available on all ships and is required to be used whenever boarding
Social distancing measures will be in place in accordance with government guidelines
There will be spaced seating for meal services and longer service of meals
Due to the unique nature of the space on each ship, risk assessments will be conducted that are specific to each layout and
additional measures may be implemented onboard to cater for each space.
Whilst we will endeavor to do our very best to reduce the spread of COVID-19, please recognise that there is a clear risk of the
spread of the disease whilst on holiday. Our aim is to keep our guests safe and Croatia free of the spread of the virus. We kindly
ask for your support throughout this process. Our measures will continue to be updated in line with best practices and Government
guidelines. If you have any questions, a member of our Sales Team will be able to assist you.

local towns and experience Dalmatian cuisine. Your onboard Tour Manager will be able to offer suggestions on the best places to
eat at each destination!
I am a vegetarian or have a special dietary request - do you cater for me?
Our onboard cook is able to cater for vegetarians and travellers with special dietary requests. If you are allergic to certain
foods, please specify in advance what this includes. We will note this so the cook can be prepared.
Are there any local payments that I need to be aware of?
A local payment of 45 Euros per person is payable onboard your Sail Croatia Cruise. This payment incorporates port fees and
tourist taxes throughout the week and is subject to change.
What type of luggage should I bring?
If you’re joining us from within Europe, we highly recommend limiting your luggage to one suitcase; however, we understand that
this might not be possible for international travellers who are flying in just for the cruise, or on extended trips. In most
cabins, you will be able to store bags under the bed; however, in the case of excess luggage, please ask check-in staff to give
you additional information about possible storage.
Will I get to visit the Blue Cave as a part of my cruise?
A visit to the Blue Cave in Vis is dependant on weather conditions and your itinerary. If conditions allow, an optional visit to
the Blue Cave will be offered. This activity is not a part of your booking with us and therefore Sail Croatia shall not be deemed
responsible for any damage, loss or dissatisfaction related to the Blue Cave visit.
Am I able to use the jacuzzi onboard 24/7?
You’re welcome to relax in the onboard jacuzzi throughout your cruise. Please note that the jacuzzi may not be
available at all times due to conditions such as electricity consumption, fresh water usage onboard and
weather conditions.
