“We chose this cruise to see if cruising was for us (we are now converted.) Met some lovely people. Service and organization was top notch and the breakfast and lunches were excellent. Cabins were roomy, very comfortable and lots of storage. Would recommend this cruise.”

- Diane, Australia.

“The country of Croatia, unfamiliar to most of us, is scenic, clean, Mediterranean in climate, culture and food. The cruise offered a safe, convenient and cosy environment for us to explore the islands, mix with other cruise guests and have a taste of the history and culture.”

- Man Fung, China.

What are the departure/arrival times?

The Easter Island Hopping cruise departs on a Sunday at 13:00 from either the Split or Dubrovnik harbour. The ship returns to Split/Dubrovnik on a Saturday afternoon, with the last night of the cruise spent in Split/Dubrovnik. You are able to disembark the ship after breakfast between 8am and 9am on Sunday morning.

Are transfers between the airport and the port included?

As part of your Easter Island Hopping cruise, transfers are included between the airport and your hotel, or straight to the ship on the start day of your cruise. Transfers from the ship to the airport are also included on the last day of your cruise. Please advise your flight details (flight number, arrival/departure time) at least 5 days before departure by emailing our Reservations Team on [email protected] Once we have this information we will be happy to arrange these for you.

What ages are onboard the ship?

The minimum age onboard the Easter Island Hopping cruise is 18. If you are looking for a Sail Croatia experience with children younger than 18 years old, you may be interested in our Private Yacht Tours!

What are the cabins arrangements?

Cabins on the Easter Island Hopping cruise are our most luxurious and spacious cabins, consisting of a Twin or Double bed, ensuite and air-conditioning. Twin or Double bed cabins are confirmed during the booking stage, so please let us know your preferences. On some ships, we also have Triple cabins available. Triple cabins consist of a double bed and a single bunk, and we provide a 10% discount per person. Each cabin is approximately 10-12 square meters (including the ensuite).

What is the difference between Above Deck and Lower Deck?

Above Deck cabins are located on the main deck of the ship and may have internal or external access. The Lower Deck cabins are situated in the hull of the ship and are accessed via stairs from the main deck down into the hull. The Lower Deck cabins are slightly more affordable than the Above Deck cabins, however they are usually slightly larger in size as there is no walk-way around the outside. They are also often cooler and quieter in the evenings. The main benefit with the Above Deck cabins is that they are on the main or upper deck, easily accessible without having to use the stairs!

Above Deck Lower Deck
Above water level At water level
On the main deck Below the main deck
No stairs* Large portholes
  Cooler during the hot months
Generally larger cabins* (due to lack of walkway)
  Lower in price

*Dependent on ship, see ship plans below for more details.

I am travelling by myself. Is there a Single supplement?

If you are travelling on your own and wish to have the cabin to yourself, a Single Supplement is applicable, which is 50% of the one person price. In Above Deck cabins we will allocate you a cabin with a Single Supplement. If you are happy to share the cabin, we can match you up with another independent same-gender traveller in Lower Deck cabins.

What meals are served onboard?

Each morning, the onboard cook will prepare a buffet breakfast, with hot and cold dishes. A traditional three course lunch is also served daily, prepared by our onboard cook. During lunch, guests are welcome to a complimentary beer, wine or soft drink. There are also two evening meals included during the Easter Island Hopping cruises: a Captain's dinner (complete with entertainment) and a Traditional Village Dinner. On the other evenings, we encourage you to explore the local towns in the evening and enjoy the local cuisine. We can offer suggestions on the best places to go.

I am a vegetarian or have a special dietary request - do you cater for me?

Our onboard cook is able to cater for vegetarians and travellers with special dietary requests. If you are allergic to certain foods, please specify in advance what this includes. We will note this so the cook can be prepared.

Are there any local payments that I need to be aware of?

A local payment of 30 Euros per person is payable onboard your Sail Croatia Cruise. This payment incorporates port fees and tourist taxes throughout the week and is subject to change.

What type of luggage should I bring?

If you’re joining us from within Europe, we highly recommend limiting your luggage to one suitcase; however, we understand that this might not be possible for international travellers who are flying in just for the cruise, or on extended trips. In most cabins, you will be able to store bags under the bed; however, in the case of excess luggage, please ask check-in staff to give you additional information about possible storage.

Am I able to use the jacuzzi onboard 24/7?

You’re welcome to relax in the onboard jacuzzi throughout your cruise. Please note that the jacuzzi may not be available at all times due to conditions such as electricity consumption, fresh water usage onboard and weather conditions.
