Orlando Column neighbouring Sponza Place, Church of saint Blaise and Rector's Palace are also located here. For the best photo opportunities, take the cable car to the top of Mt Srd and be treated to panoramic views over the whole city.

Split is Croatia's 2nd largest city and the largest on Adriatic coast. It offers fantastic connections via air, ferry and local transfers. Looking for culture? Diocletian's Palace is considered Split's most significant sight, located right in the heart of the Old Town. You simply can't miss Peristyle which is the palace central open space surrounded with colonnade and adorned with garlands.

Cathedral of Saint Domnis is also located here. The Cathedral's bell tower is worth climbing for striking sights over Split, both inland and out to the sea. It's just quite challenging getting to the top, but those who are brave enough will be greatly rewarded with magical views.
