Best holiday of my life

The crew were so amazing they had every last thing sorted out; booking taxis, excursions, finding good bars, restaurants etc. Every day was exciting, waking up at a new swim spot & a three course meal every day was incredible. Can’t rate the whole experience enough, we are already planning our next trip!

ONCE IN A LIFE TIME EXPERIENCE!

My Sail Croatia experience beyond exceeded my expectations and was without a doubt one of the best weeks of my life. It was a 7 day high that I'll never forget and will cherish for the rest of my life. I met so many amazing people that I can now call friends and had so much fun partying and sailing the beautiful waters of Croatia. Everything was perfect from our onboard rep and staff, the boat itself, food, drink and our overall island hopping experience. Could not recommend this enough! Thank you so much!

SUCH A GREAT WEEK!

I did the Split to Split Navigator week and it far exceeded my expectations.. The boat had a great atmosphere and I really enjoyed being able to see different places in Croatia particularly Mljet National Park! I came on the trip solo and met so many awesome people. Our host, Duje was incredibly friendly and chilled. He went out of his way to provide us with honest information about each of our destinations and was always around to answer questions or to just have a chat! Ivana also did an amazing job making everyone feel welcome (and keeping the drinks flowing during happy hours)!

Sail Croatia takes the health and safety of our guests and staff seriously and as such we will be implementing measures onboard our ships to limit and prevent the spread of the virus. To view the Health and Safety measures that will be in place, please view our Cruise with Confidence page.

Whilst we will endeavour to do our very best to reduce the spread of COVID-19, please recognise that there is a clear risk of the spread of the disease whilst on holiday. Our measures will continue to be updated in line with best practices and Government guidelines.

What are Navigator Cruises?

Navigator Cruises are our most popular party cruises for independent, like-minded travellers between the ages of 18 and 39. Each ship has a dedicated Tour Representative and takes in the best destinations and nightlife Croatia has to offer!

What time does the cruise start/finish?

All ships depart on either Wednesday or Saturday at 1pm, except the Dubrovnik to Split route, where check-in is from 10.30am, and the boat departs Dubrovnik early the next morning. All ships arrive at their final destination one day before check-out, where you will spend the night onboard. Check-out time the following morning is between 8am and 9am. If you’re unable to make it to check-in on time, you can easily catch up with your ship at your first destination. Please see FAQ: What if I can’t make the check-in time?

What if I can’t make the check-in time?

If you’re unable to arrive at your departure point for check-in, it’s easy to catch up with your ship at your first destination. See information on how to get to your first destination below:

  • Split Return South: your first night will be spent on Hvar Island, which is easily accessible via ferry from Split to Hvar Town (1.5 hours) or Split - Stari Grad (2 hours). You can find ferry timetables online here and here.
  • Split - Dubrovnik: your first overnight destination is the mainland town of Omis, which is easily accessible by a 45 minute public bus from Split. You can find the bus timetable online here.
  • Dubrovnik - Split: your ship will stay overnight in Dubrovnik on night 1, so arriving late is not a problem!

If you need assistance planning your arrival, a member of our Sales Team will be happy to help you connect the dots! We are able to provide land based transfers if required, or our Operations Team are also able to assist you on the ground with logistics.

What are the cabin arrangements?

The cabins are based on 2 sharing, and consist of twin beds, bunk beds or one double bed. If you’d prefer a certain cabin type, it is important you let us know this upon booking, so we are aware and will note your request. Our ship allocation is finalised a week before departure, so we are unable to 100% guarantee a twin bed or double bed cabin. This is due to the fact that each of our ships have completely unique cabin configurations (and therefore always consist of a different number of twin and double cabins available onboard). We will do our best to accommodate requests on a first requested, first served basis.

On some ships, we also have triple cabins available. Triple cabins consist of a double bed and a single bunk. If you would like to book a triple cabin please let us know and we can check availability when you enquire. We don’t automatically allocate these to odd numbered groups as they are about the same size as our 2 person cabins.

What is the difference between Above Deck and Lower Deck cabins?

Above Deck cabins are on the Main Deck of the ship or just above it. Lower Deck cabins are in the hull of the ship. There are pros and cons to both - Lower Deck cabins are often cooler and quieter at night, as you do not have other travellers walking past your cabin as much as the Above Deck cabins. Above Deck cabins offer more natural light and ventilation and most open out onto the sea. Each ship is unique and therefore the layout varies from ship to ship.

Please note: On some of the boats the above deck cabins are located on 2 levels, i.e. on the main deck and on an upper deck.

Which ship type would suit me?

We have 4 ship types available on Navigator cruises; Standard, Ensuite, Premier and Premier Plus. Standard ships are the cheapest option and have shared bathroom facilities. Ensuite ship cabins have their own toilet and shower, and Premier ships are more modern in style and offer ensuite facilities, as well as air-conditioning. Premier Plus ships are a cut above the rest and feature ensuite, air-conditioned cabins, spacious decks and a jacuzzi!

How many bathrooms and toilets are there on Standard ships?

On average there are 4 or 5 toilets/showers on the Standard boats. Ratio is around 1 toilet/shower to 5-6 travellers.

How do you allocate solo and odd numbered travellers?

For those that are in odd numbered groups, or travelling solo, you will share your cabin with another like-minded traveller of the same sex. If you'd prefer to have a cabin to yourself, there is a single supplement available (an additional 50% of the per person price), that can be added to your booking. Please note single supplements are not applicable on Special Offers or discounted cruises.

What food is included?

Breakfast and a 3-course lunch are included daily on all cruises. Dinner is not included, as we encourage our clients to explore the local towns in the evening, experiencing local food and wine! Of course we can offer suggestions on the best places to go! Breakfast onboard Standard and Ensuite ships is continental style and includes bread and spreads. You can pay an English breakfast supplement of 40 Euros/week if you would prefer a cooked breakfast daily (payable onboard). Breakfast onboard Premier and Premier Plus ships usually consists of eggs, bacon, bread and spreads. Lunches are usually 3 courses, with a soup/salad starter, meat or fish-based main course and fruit/cake for dessert.

Can I bring food and drink onboard?

You cannot bring food and drink onboard the ship, except for items that fill specific dietary requirements. Each boat has its own bar and drinks consumed onboard (including bottled water) must be purchased from here. You have unlimited access to the onboard water cooler during the salon opening times. We recommend bringing a re-usable water bottle with you onboard, and filling this up before the salon closes for the evening.

How do I buy drinks onboard?

All drinks, and optional onboard dinners will be added to your bar tab. Bar tabs are recorded throughout the week and are payable in cash (Croatian Kuna) at the end of your cruise.

Are there any local payments that I need to be aware of?

A local payment of 30 Euros per person is payable onboard your Sail Croatia Cruise. This payment incorporates port fees and tourist taxes throughout the week and is subject to change.

What type of luggage should I bring?

If you’re joining us from within Europe, we highly recommend limiting your luggage to one suitcase; however, we understand that this might not be possible for international travellers who are flying in just for the cruise, or on extended trips. Unless you’re booked on a Premier or Premier Plus Ship, your Ensuite or Standard Ship’s cabin won’t be overly large as these are traditional Croatian Ships and storage is limited. In most cabins, you will be able to store bags under the bed; however, in the case of excess luggage, please ask check-in staff to give you additional information about possible storage.

How does Sail Croatia contribute to sustainable tourism?
